On the forge world of Sapesh, an insurrection has risen up seemingly out of nowhere and has thrown the planet into a bloody civil war. In the midst of the chaos, Ameli Kantarr and the rest of the newly established 44th Sapesh Infantry must fight to retake a hive city that could turn the tide of the war.

1. Intro

When it comes to my stories, I like to tap into things that are important to me. Warhammer 40,000 is one that runs almost as deep as Star Wars. I started my first army when I was around eleven, my cousins took me to a games store to buy stuff for their armies. It was there I picked up my first squad of Valhallan Imperial guard. From there my love for the hobby grew. With the new edition releasing last year and all the buzz around it I found myself reading back into 40K and starting up my armies once again. Writing a 40K story has always been a goal of mine. From my days slapping away at a beat up electronic typewriter I've always tried to spin tales of ordinary men completing the unordinary. They were the stories I loved the most. This is one of those stories.
