Volume III: Hydro-Man
Note: This will be the fifth chapter of Volume III, this will introduce Morris Bench as the supervillain Hydro-Man, a being capable of manipulating and turning himself into water, he was once a crewman for Oscorp until the accident happened and transformed him into the villain he is, he returns and exacts revenge against Norman Osborn for erasing every trace of his existence to cover up the accident. Meanwhile Miles Morales discovered a new power he never thought he'd have, the Venom Blast, but he's having trouble controlling it as it's causing problems in his life, but his friends will help him find a way to control it.
Flashback
Two months ago, it's July 28th out in the Atlantic Ocean, a ship is of Oscorp, the crew is conducting tests on an experimental hydro generator as the crewman are attempting to lower it into the ocean, one of them is a man named Morris Bench.
"Okay, after we're done with this test. What do we do once we return to port?" Morris Bench asking his friend.
"How about we hit that new strip club down in Hell's Kitchen? Heard the babes there are to die for."
"Can't wait!" Morris Bench smiled in enthusiasm.
The Hydro Generator stopped lowering down to the ocean as something went wrong, the crewmen are trying to figure out the reason it stopped.
"Bench, check out the lines and see what's the problem!!!"
"On it!" Morris Bench comply with the order.
Bench walked up closer to the lines used to lower the generator, he found what appears to be a knot jammed up in the lowering mechanism.
"Okay, I think I found the problem. If I could just..." Morris Bench reached and unjammed the mechanism. "There, that should do it."
All of a sudden without warning the whole generator fell down into the ocean fast, Morris Bench still got a hold of the knot as it tied down his arm and pulls him into the ocean with the hydro generator, everyone is shocked that one of the crewmen got pulled into the ocean.
"Morrie!!!!"
"We got a crewman pulled underwater!!! Shut down the generator!!!"
The technicians are attempting to shut it down, but are having trouble turning it off as the controls are getting glitchy and the generator is preparing to unleash its ray of energy underwater.
"I said shut down now!!!!"
"I can't!!! The controls aren't responding!!!"
Meanwhile Morris Bench is drowning underwater as his wrist is tied up to the hydro generator, unable to escape as the generator itself is emitting some kind of ray of energy. Morris Bench makes an effort to escape before he gets exposed to the radiation. Morris is still trapped underwater as the generator glows and Morris opens his mouth in fear, the generator unleashed rays upon him as his entire DNA structure is changing, and his entire body is turning itself into water, Morris Bench sudden disappears into nothing but water.
The generator has finally shut itself down as the crewman are pulling it back up above water, but there is no sign of Morris Bench, everyone is stunned that one of their own is now long gone as a result of the accident.
"This is bad... better notify Mr. Osborn at once."
One of the technicians went inside the ship and uses the screen to make contact with Oscorp's CEO Norman Osborn, the man himself shows up on the screen.
"What is it?" Norman Osborn wants to know the purpose of this call.
"We have a big problem, sir, one of our crewmen Morris Bench was accidentally pulled under with the hydro generator and he was caught in the ray, I'm afraid we lost him."
"How unfortunate. We can't have this incident coming back to us, abort the whole project and cover everything up related to this Morris Bench, give me the names of the crewmen and technicians working there, I'll need to bribe them for their silence." Norman Osborn told the technician.
"Yes sir."
Norman Osborn wants to cover up everything of this incident by any means necessary, all to keep Oscorp squeaky clean of any dirt. All the crewmen looked at the ocean as they lost one of their own to the sea, Morris Bench is gone forever, or so they thought.
(Present Day)
Two months later, it's September 29th as the sun is rising in view of Rockaway Beach, waves are coming onto the beach sands as something unexpected happened, a body of water is forming up in a shape of a man. This man is coming into perfect view, he is a average sandy blonde man dressed in a blue t shirt and blue jeans, it's Morris Bench who disappeared two months ago at sea, he looks around to see the beach is empty.
"Finally, I'm home." Morris Bench told himself.
It's 7:00 AM at Brooklyn Visions Academy, class is about to start very soon in a hour and 45 minutes, Miles is getting out of his dorm room all dressed up in the school uniform talking on the phone.
"Yes, mom, I'm already up and all dressed up, don't have to call me every morning. Love you." Miles hangs up the phone.
Miles walks down the halls until he heard someone's voice at one of the partially opened door.
"Damnit!" Anya's voice coming from inside.
Miles recognized that voice, it's his classmate Anya Corazon, he approached the door and knocked twice getting Anya's attention.
"Who is it?!" Anya calling from the bathroom.
"It's me, Miles! Are you okay?!" Miles asking Anya.
"Not really!" Anya told Miles.
"May I come in?! Maybe I can help!" Miles asking Anya for permission.
"Okay, come on in, I'm in the bathroom!" Anya gave permission for Miles.
Miles enters Anya's dorm room and walked up to the bathroom to find Anya dressed a white t shirt and pink sweatpants having trouble with the sink.
"Something wrong with your sink?" Miles is curious.
"Yeah, I'm trying to brush my teeth, but this handle is jammed for some reason." Anya having trouble turning the handle.
"Here, let me help. I might be able to unjam it." Miles offered to help.
"You sure? You don't look very strong." Anya told Miles.
"Trust me, I'm stronger than I look." Miles told Anya.
Miles takes the handle as he gives it a twist with his spider strength, but he ended up accidentally twisting it hard off the sink as water spills up around the bathroom and both Anya and Miles are getting wet.
"Sorry!!!" Miles is having trouble with the sink.
Anya grabbed a towel and placed it over the leak to cover it up, stopping he spill, but both Miles and Anya are all wet in their clothes.
"That was unexpected, I'm sorry, Anya!" Miles apologizes to Anya.
"It's okay, it was an accident." Anya told Miles.
Miles is still wet and holding his phone he used earlier, but then he looked upon Anya who is all wet as her white shirt is revealing her pink bra underneath. Miles accidentally gazed upon her, he is having a strange feeling as his hand is generating electricity to the phone. Miles is too distracted by seeing Anya until his phone blew up in his hand, Miles dropped the phone as he and Anya noticed.
"Oh my god! Are you okay?!" Anya asking Miles.
"Yeah, but I think my phone just blew up." Miles is very confused.
"Must've been the water, some of it must've gotten into the phone. I thought that all smartphones are waterproof." Anya told Miles.
"Yeah, so do I, I should go and change back at my room. Sorry about the mess." Miles told Anya.
"That's okay, thanks for trying to help." Anya told Miles.
Miles leaves Anya's dorm room and heads back to his dorm room where Ganke is all dressed up in his school uniform only to see Miles all wet.
"Whoa! What happened to you?" Ganke is curious.
"A lot." Miles is still confused.
"Well, change into something dry, class will start soon. I'll go and have some breakfast, see you at class." Ganke told Miles.
"Yeah, sure." Miles told Ganke.
Ganke took his backpack and walked out of the room as Miles is left alone trying to process what just happened back there in Anya's room, Miles hold out his hands and sees that they're sparking up some kind of electricity, he's never done anything like this before, it's a new power he didn't think he had.
"What's happening to me?" Miles is even more confused than ever.
It's about 8:43 AM at Midtown High School, Peter and Gwen are entering the school as Gwen is finally back attending classes here ever since she moved to London, a number of her classmates all held up a sign saying 'Welcome back, Gwen!, she smiled as she got to see a lot of familiar faces, including her other best friend Harry Osborn.
"Welcome back, Gwen Stacy, it's been so long." Harry welcomes Gwen with open arms.
Gwen hugs Harry. "It's good to be back, Harry, thanks."
"I for one am glad that you're back, Parker wouldn't stop missing you everyday, it's too sad!" Flash teased Peter as some laughed.
"I wonder if Gwen will come?" Randy teased Peter too.
"Maybe I should call Gwen?" Harry joins in on the fun.
Everyone giggled at the jokes as Peter smiled and rolled his eyes as they're making fun of him missing Gwen too much.
"Alright, you had your laughs. Let's not make a big thing out of it." Peter tells the guys.
"Thank you all for welcoming me back, I've missed you all." Gwen tells her classmates.
The school bell rang as class is about to start very soon, everyone is attending their respective classes, including Peter and Gwen walking together, Mary Jane walks behind them as she could sense that they're still close like before.
In Hell's Kitchen, a crewman is walking down the streets talking on the phone with what appears to be a woman, he enters the apartment building and heads upstairs.
"Yeah I know, I had so much fun last night at your place. Maybe we can do it again tonight... okay, see you tonight."
The man reached the floor and pulled out his keys, he opens the door and enters his apartment building, he walked up to the fridge and pulls out a beer bottle, he removes the cap and drinks it in.
"Ah... breakfast of champions."
He puts the beer bottle aside as he walks into the bathroom and turns on the shower, he's about to undress him until he stops as something unexpected happens to the water, it started to form up inside the tub in a shape of a man.
"What the hell?!"
The crewman got frightened as he backed away in fear, this water guy moves out of the tube and forms up to his true form, the crewman immediately recognized him as his old friend Morris Bench.
"What's the matter? Don't recognize an old friend?" Morris Bench told his friend.
"Oh my god! Morrie? Is that you?"
"In the flesh, sort to speak." Morris Bench confirm it's him.
"How is this possible? We all thought you were lost at sea two months ago."
"So did I, I had no idea what happened to me, I was just conscious being in the water unable to do anything, it took me a long time to realize that I was like water. Recently I learned to bend water to my will and managed to find a way to materialize myself back to my old self. But when I finally returned home, you know what I found out? There was nothing left of me, no credit history, no social media, no birth certificate, there was no trace of my existence, I was completely erased that I, Morris Bench no longer exist!" Morris Bench is very angry.
"I'm sorry, Morrie, but after the accident, our company's boss Norman Osborn shut down the entire project and bribed everyone who was there for their silence, he did everything to cover up the accident, he's the one who most likely erased your entire existence, he has the power. I swear Morrie, it was all Norman Osborn!"
"So Norman Osborn is responsible for erasing my whole existence from the face of the earth. Then I shall make him pay dearly for all of it, and with this new power or mine, none shall stop me. Morris Bench may have been erased, but not Hydro-Man." Morris Bench becomes Hydro-Man.
Hydro-Man now plans to get his revenge on the man who erased his entire existence, Norman Osborn.
It's 4:15 PM at the Spider-Cave, Peter and Gwen are dressed up in their workout clothes and are on the mat sparring to test out Gwen's combat skills to see if she's as sharp as before due to her being inactive for five months.
"Don't go easy on me, Pete." Gwen tells Peter.
"I'll try my best." Peter told Gwen.
Peter throws in the first punch as Gwen caught his wrist and flips him over down hard, Peter is lying on the mat attempting to get himself back up until Gwen got on top of him and holds his wrists down to pin him, he and Gwen are working up a sweat from the sparring.
"You making this too easy on me on purpose, aren't you?" Gwen smiled at Peter.
"I can see that you still got it." Peter smiled at Gwen.
Peter and Gwen are so close to each other as a moment is happening, they looked into each other's eyes and their hearts beat like before. Miles came into the Spider-Cave and finds his friends on the mat together, he coughed getting their attention, Peter and Gwen snapped out of their moment as Miles is here.
"Sorry to ruin the moment, I'd call to say that I'm coming, but my phone was blown up." Miles told his friends.
Peter and Gwen both got themselves back up on their feet as they're blushing and felt embarrassed that Miles had to see their moment.
"That's okay, we were just... sparring." Peter told Miles.
"Yeah." Gwen told Miles.
"It's okay, I don't need to know about your business." Miles told his friends.
"So what's this about your phone being blown up?" Peter is curious.
"I think that I'm the one that blew it up." Miles told them.
"What?" Gwen is confused.
"You want to run it by us again?" Peter is also confused.
"Okay, something unexpected happened at school, I discovered that I have another ability besides my normal spider powers and the invisibility, I can generate some kind of electricity through my hands." Miles told them about his new power.
"Electricity from your hands?" Gwen is familiar with this kind of power.
"I'm being very serious, I know what I saw." Miles told Gwen.
"Amazing, never seen this kind of power before." Peter is impressed.
"I have, remember that woman I told you about in England, Jessica Drew?" Gwen told Peter.
"The Spider-Woman?" Peter told Gwen.
"Yeah, she has this same power, I've seen it, she calls it the Venom Blast. Never imagine that Miles has it too." Gwen is very surprised.
"First the invisibility and now this, boy, you're full of surprises, Miles Morales." Peter told Miles.
"Can you show us?" Gwen wants to see it.
Miles stands back as he holds out his hands attempting to show off his new powers, Peter and Gwen both watched but nothing is happening, no electricity sparked out of Miles's hands.
"What's wrong?" Peter asking Miles.
"I've done it once, I just don't know how exactly." Miles is having trouble accessing his new power.
Miles can't use his new powers for some reason, until he looked at Gwen Stacy dressed in her sport bra and pants, she's giving off sweat on her abdomen from her sparring with Peter, Miles is having that feeling again like before with Anya, his hands started showing off electricity as Peter and Gwen are surprised to finally see it, Miles is also shocked to see it happening again.
"Whoa!!!" Peter and Gwen said in amazement.
"Holy mackerel, I did it!" Miles sparked electricity from his hands.
Miles got to excited until his powers stopped working and shuts off without warning, he's confused as to why it stopped all of a sudden.
"What just happened? Why did it stopped?" Gwen asking Miles.
"I don't know." Miles is confused.
"Maybe something triggered it, Miles, think, what exactly happened in both those times your new power manifested?" Peter asking Miles.
Miles sighed. "Okay, just this morning I got out my dorm room, one of my classmates Anya Corazon was having trouble with the sink, I came over to help and accidentally caused a spill, we both ended up getting wet and that's when I..."
"That's when you what?" Peter is curious.
Miles blushed looking embarrassed. "I... accidentally saw her... stuff."
"Stuff?" Peter is confused.
Gwen's eyes widen. "Uh... Peter..."
Gwen came in and whispers in Peter's ear trying to tell him what Miles meant to say, Peter's eyes widen from hearing it.
"Oh... you mean..." Peter is shocked.
"Yeah." Gwen told Peter.
"Oh... and just now?" Peter asking Miles.
"I..." Miles looking away from Gwen.
Peter could tell that he's avoiding looking at Gwen who is showing some sweat on her abdomen, she's giving off an appealing look as he got the idea what made Miles go haywire again.
"So you saw..." Peter told Miles.
"Sorry." Miles felt embarrassed and apologizes to Gwen and Peter.
"It's okay, Miles, seriously, you don't have to feel ashamed of what you're going through, it's perfectly natural." Peter understands Miles.
"He's right, I think that what you're going through with your powers must have some kind of hormonal connection." Gwen told Miles.
"Great, I'm maturing into a walking bug zapper!" Miles doesn't sound too happy.
"No, of course not, we just need to figure out how to get a handle on this new power of yours." Peter tries to calm Miles down.
"Look, I'll contact S.H.I.E.L.D., hopefully they'll get me in touch with Jessica Drew, I'll ask her is she has any ideas on how to control this new power of yours." Gwen told Miles.
"Thanks Gwen." Miles appreciates Gwen.
"Of course, that's what friends are for." Gwen told Miles.
"You're one of us, Miles, and we take care of our own." Peter told Miles.
Miles felt happy that he's got friends willing to help him through anything, no matter how thick and thin it is. Hopefully they'll find a way to help Miles control his Venom Blast.
It's about 7:15 PM as a limousine is leaving the parking bay of Oscorp, Norman Osborn is on the phone talking to Menken concerning the board members decisions about Norman's leadership in the company.
"Let the board say what they want, if it wasn't for me, Oscorp would've closed down long ago, be sure to remind those fools who's in charge." Norman Osborn hangs up the phone. "Arrogant fools."
Norman tossed his phone aside as he is stressed by the pressure he's getting from the board questioning his role as CEO of Oscorp. The limo is still driving around in the streets until a fire hydrant opens up and a strong burst of water was fired upon and pushed the limo hard off the ground and it toppled upside down with Norman Osborn still inside.
"Ow, what the hell was that?" Norman is hurt.
Norman is still alive but injured from the crash as he attempts to crawl out of the limo, but the limo door got pulled hard as someone reached in and grabbed Norman, he pulled him out and tossed him onto the street. Norman got a look at the man who pulled him out, he's some man in a blue t shirt.
"Who the devil are you?" Norman demands the identity of his attacker.
"What's the matter? Don't know who I am? You should, since you're the one who erased me from the face of the earth to cover up that accident." Hydro-Man told Norman.
This guy gave a hint to his identity, he's the crewman who was presumed dead at sea two months ago in a experiment gone wrong.
"I don't know what you're talking about, you're delusional, whoever you are!" Norman denies anything.
"I was someone until you decided to erase me, all to cover up that accident and wipe the sink of the Osborn name. You thought I was gone forever, so did I, until that accident changed me. Allow me to demonstrate." Hydro-Man told Norman.
Hydro-Man demonstrates his powers by summoning water out of the manholes and hydrants, everyone in the area are shocked and scared by what this guy can do, including Norman Osborn.
"What did you just do?" Norman is curious.
"This is the result of the accident, that device of yours changed my entire body, I can become like water and bend it to my will." Hydro-Man explained to Norman.
"And what is it you want?" Norman wants to know his intentions.
"You erased my entire existence from the whole world, so you're going to undo your mistake and give me my whole life back!" Hydro-Man demanded Norman.
"I have no idea what you're talking about!" Norman denies his involvement.
"Stop lying to me!!! You're responsible for taking away my life!!! So you're going to fix this, or else!!!" Hydro-Man is threatening Norman Osborn.
Hydro-Man is willing to do whatever it takes to get what he wants, even threatens Norman Osborn's life to get it. He then hears police sirens coming in as a couple of police cars came by, officers got out and aims their guns at Hydro-Man.
"You there, put your hands up in the air!"
Hydro-Man turns to see cops aiming their guns at him, he ignores them as he focuses on Norman Osborn.
"Take him down!!!"
All the cops fired off their bullets at Hydro-Man who did getting shot by the bullets passing through his water body, they kept on firing until they ran out of bullets and sees that he's still standing, Hydro-Man turns around facing the cops as the bullet wounds on his body disappears, the cops became fazed as their bullets are ineffective against him.
"What the heck?"
Hydro-Man chuckles. "That tickles. Now it's my turn."
Hydro-Man unleashed a burst stream of water at the police cars and pushed them off the ground hard, everyone in the area ran away and panicked in fear as this Hydro-Man is terrorizing the neighborhood. He took care of the cops as he turns his attention to Norman Osborn.
"Is that suppose to intimidate me? You're wasting your time, I'll never give you what you want!" Norman Osborn isn't afraid.
"I see that you have no regrets to the lives you've ruined." Hydro-Man told Norman.
"You have no idea who you're messing with and what I'm capable of." Norman Osborn says with a serious tone.
"And no one ever will." Hydro-Man forms up a drill arm. "Goodbye Norman!"
Hydro-Man is about to kill off Norman Osborn until Spider-Man came in and webbed Norman up, pulled him away from Hydro-Man just in time before he could kill him. Spider-Man swing Norman to safety, he dropped him off with the cops as he swings back to face Hydro-Man. The villain sees Spider-Man along with Ghost-Spider and Kid Arachnid all together, they've thwarted his revenge.
"You?!!!" Hydro-Man is angry.
"I take it that you're the one who's causing all this trouble. You even tried to kill Norman Osborn." Spider-Man told Hydro-Man.
"And I would've done the whole world a favor of getting rid of this human piece of trash! That man took away everything from me and he'll shall pay for it, one way or another. So step aside or get put down, your choice!" Hydro-Man threatens the heroes.
"About a third choice?" Spider-Man fired off his webshooters.
The webbing passed through his water body as the heroes are shocked by what they're seeing, he's made entirely out of water.
"Is that the best you got?" Hydro-Man told Spider-Man.
"What are you?" Spider-Man is asking what this guy is.
"Let me show you!" Hydro-Man reached his arms out.
Hydro-Man unleashed water from his arms and attacked the three heroes simultaneously as they all got hit by burst streams of water that was fired too fast.
"The name is Hydro-Man, get the picture?" Hydro-Man introduced himself to the heroes.
"Did you say your name is Hydrant Man? Boy, the dogs must love you!" Spider-Man mocks Hydro-Man.
"It's Hydro-Man, and it's the last name you'll ever hear." Hydro-Man told Spider-Man.
"We'll see about that!" Ghost-Spider told Hydro-Man.
Spider-Man, Ghost-Spider, and Kid Arachnid all stand back up as they're about to face this Hydro-Man in action, if they can. Hydro-Man made his move and unleash his water upon the heroes as they split up, Spider-Man came in swinging for a drop kick but only succeeded in splashing him into puddles of water. The water forms back up and Hydro-Man attacks again and managed to hit Spider-Man with his water powers, he crashed him against a light pole as it toppled down and broke off the bulb.
"Spider-Man!!!" Ghost-Spider is worried.
"This itsy bitsy spider went out the water spout, and come down the rain and washed the spider out!" Hydro-Man mocks Spider-Man.
Hydro-Man is walking towards Spider-Man down as Ghost-Spider and Kid Arachnid attempts to stop his advance, they charged in hard but Hydro-Man enlarged his arms and throws in a couple of punches and strikes them both hard as they landed on the ground next to Spider-Man.
"What do you know? Looks like I've washed all the spiders out. Time to finish this!" Hydro-Man has bested the heroes.
Hydro-Man is walking towards the spider heroes as he's attempts to finish them of once and for all for their role in stopping his revenge, he walks close to the water puddled that's conducting electricity from the light pole Spider-Man toppled earlier in the fight. Hydro-Man steps on the electrified water and got zapped as electricity is being channeled throughout his entire water body. The heroes are seeing that Hydro-Man is in serious pain right now.
"What's happening to him?" Kid Arachnid is curious.
"I don't know, but let's take this opportunity to take him down. Come on!" Spider-Man tells his teammates.
The heroes are all getting back on their feet as Hydro-Man is still in shock from the electricity affecting his body. He sees the heroes are attempting to get back at him, he's all vulnerable in his state. He tries to focus himself by turning into water and sliding back into the sewers, making his retreat. The Spider heroes couldn't reach him in time as he managed to escape from them in time.
"Damn, he's gone." Ghost-Spider is disappointed.
"For now." Spider-Man told Ghost-Spider.
The Hydro-Man came so close to killing them until a stroke of luck saved them, Hydro-Man got shocked and was forced to retreat, but Spider-Man knows he'll be back soon. Norman Osborn is with the police as he knows that his sins have come back to haunt him, he's now more worried than ever since Hydro-Man posses a grave threat to his entire life.
Sometime later at Osborn Manor, Harry Osborn is in the living room watching the news on the big TV of the recent attack against his father by a new supervillain the heroes failed to stop.
"Earlier tonight, a supervillain calling himself Hydro-Man has attacked the billionaire CEO of Oscorp Industries, Norman Osborn. It is unclear as to why this man attacked Mr. Osborn, even the man himself refused to comment anything as he walks away from the press. Our three heroes failed to stop him and this Hydro-Man is still on the loose somewhere in Manhattan. Can our heroes find a way to stop this new supervillain?"
Harry then sees his father just walked into the manor as Harry turns off the TV and gets off the couch to check up on his father.
"Hey dad, I heard about what happened, are you okay?" Harry is worried for his dad.
"I'm fine, son." Norman ignores Harry.
"But dad, this guy almost killed you..." Harry told Norman.
"I said I'm fine, Harry!!! I just need to be left alone." Norman gave an outburst to his son Harry.
Norman enters his private study and closed the door behind him ignoring his son Harry.
"Man, what got under his skin?" Harry wonders what's up with his dad.
Harry walks away as Norman completely ignored him despite that his own son was worried for him. Norman picked up the phone and made a call to Donald Menken.
"Mrs. Osborn, I heard about what happened, glad you're alright!" Donald Menken.
"I'm far from alright, Menken, I'm in deep trouble. Remember that accident that happened out at sea couple months ago?" Norman told Menken.
"Yeah, that crewman fell into the water and got exposed to the rays, he was lost at sea." Menken remembers that incident.
"Not anymore, he's back!" Norman told Menken.
"That's impossible, there's no way he could still be alive." Menken has trouble believing it.
"Not only is he still alive, but now he's got these powers to control and turn himself into water. He's proven to be a challenge for the police, even for Spider-Man and his friends. It's fortunate that I'm still alive only because Spider-Man saved me, much to my dissatisfaction." Norman isn't pleased with what's happened.
"Still hating Spider-Man, I see." Menken told Norman.
"I never forget nor forgive, even though he did save my life more than once, he's still responsible for thwarting my businesses in the past. But right now, I bigger problems than Spider-Man, this Hydro-Man poses a dangerous threat to us all." Norman told Menken.
"I don't see why you have to concern yourself with him, he's a nobody with no past, we've erased ever trace of his existence, no one will ever believe him." Menken told Norman.
"No, but he knows that I'm responsible for erasing him from the face of the earth. If he tells the board members or worst, the media, there's going to be an investigation into my company, and what do you think they'll find." Norman told Menken.
"They'll learn about the company's ethics in illegal experimentations along with selling hi tech products to various terrorist organizations." Menken told Norman of the risks.
"We need to find him before everything comes to light." Norman told Menken.
"How! This man can turn himself into water, he can appear from anywhere and we never see him coming." Menken told Norman.
Norman chuckled. "He wants revenge, let him come to me. I'll be ready and waiting for him, and this time I'll see to it that he's erased for good."
Norman hangs up the phone as he plans to get rid of Hydro-Man forever, he's becoming very desperate to cover up his crimes involved in his company and will do anything to keep it from getting out, even kill for it.
Back at the Spider-Cave, the three heroes returned after their encounter with Hydro-Man ended with their close defeat, only a stroke of luck saved them.
Gwen takes off the mask. "Where do all these new guys keep coming from?"
Peter takes his mask off. "I keep asking myself the same thing."
Miles takes off his mask. "How do we stop someone who can turn himself into water?"
"Patience, Miles, even a guy like that has his weaknesses." Peter told Miles.
"Do you remember what happened to him back there? He seemed to be zapped as he touched that puddle of water." Gwen told her teammates.
Peter snapped his fingers. "Of course, the electricity. That light pole that fell down from the fight electrified the water and turned it into a conductor, when he stepped on it, it affected his entire body, that's his weakness."
"So next time we face him, we just need something electrify and he's toast." Miles told Peter.
"And lucky for us, we got ourselves a spider with electric powers." Gwen looking at Miles.
"Yeah, but I can't just summon it on command, I'm still having trouble controlling it." Miles told his friends.
"We'll work on that tomorrow morning, for now, head on back home, you should be back before curfew." Peter told Miles.
"And what about this Hydro-Man? He's still out there." Miles told them about Hydro-Man.
"After the shock he went through, I doubt he'll be back in action tonight. Tomorrow we'll have to wait for his next move and we'll be ready." Peter told Miles.
"Okay, I'll be heading back to Brooklyn. See ya tomorrow!" Miles waves to his friends.
"Goodnight Miles." Gwen waved to Miles.
Miles is walking away from the Spider-Cave for the night as there's not much they can do for tonight. They'll have to wait until Hydro-Man makes his move, and Miles still needs help in controlling his venom blast.
At a water treatment plant, Hydro-Man is using the place to hideout from the police and the heroes after his assassination attempt against Norman Osborn failed thanks to the heroes intervention.
Hydro-Man is in pain. "Ah!!! Damnit!! I was so close and those three spider fools got in my way!!! If Norman thinks he's seen the last of me, then he's in for a surprise, and I know just where to strike. Soon everyone will know the real Norman Osborn."
Hydro-Man rests up to recuperate his strength for the battle ahead, he plans to expose Norman Osborn for the monster he really is, and this time he'll kill anyone who stands in his way, including the heroes of New York.
At the same time at Brooklyn Visions Academy, Kid Arachnid is cloaking himself and climbing up the wall towards his dorm room for the night to rest after a hard day of fighting Hydro-Man.
"I just hope that I can put these new powers to good use the next time I face Hydro-Man." Kid Arachnid says in his thoughts.
Kid Arachnid climbs near a window as he got a peak to see a couple of girls in their dorm room changing into their nightgowns as he climbs up to avoid looking anymore, but unfortunately his new powers started acting out again, electricity sparked from his hands again.
Kid Arachnid sighed. "Ah, not again, I need to get out of sight quickly before someone sees me."
Kid Arachnid finally reached his dorm room window and climbs inside to find his friend Ganke playing on the computer. Kid Arachnid stopped cloaking, Ganke stopped playing as he sees his friend sparking out electricity from his hands, it's surprised him.
"Whoa!!!" Ganke is stunned.
"Yeah, whoa!" Kid Arachnid told Ganke.
"How are you doing that?" Ganke is curious about Miles's new power.
"You don't want to know, and honestly I'm having a hard time turning it off." Kid Arachnid told Ganke.
"Okay, just takes some deep breaths and calm down. I'm sure it'll stop." Ganke advised his friend.
Kid Arachnid takes some deep breaths and tries to calm himself down, his powers eventually stopped and he's back to normal, he looked at his hands to see that it stopped.
"Hey, it worked!" Kid Arachnid is amazed.
Ganke smiled as Miles takes off his mask to change out of his clothes, but they've stopped as someone is knocking on the door, they're wonder who it could be outside.
"Who could that be?" Ganke asking Miles.
"Who is it?!" Miles calling to whoever's outside the door.
"It's me, Anya, is this a bad time?!" Anya calling from outside the door.
"Uh... hold please!!!" Miles told Anya.
Miles is still in his Kid Arachnid suit and didn't have time to take it off, he grabs a blanket from his bunk bed and covers himself to hide his suit underneath. He walked up and opens the door partially to see Anya outside.
"Anya, hi." Miles told Anya.
"Everything okay?" Anya asking Miles.
"Yeah, I'm... feeling a bit under the weather." Miles made up an excuse.
"Is this because of what happened in the bathroom this morning?" Anya told Miles.
Ganke raised an eyebrow upon hearing that Miles and Anya were alone in the bathroom this morning.
"Listen, I'm sorry about that mess in the bathroom, I shouldn't have asked you to come and help me with the problem." Anya apologizes to Miles.
"It's alright, Anya, besides it was an accident. Don't feel bad about it, I mean it." Miles told Anya.
"Okay then, have a good night , Miles Morales." Anya told Miles.
"Good night, Miles, get well." Anya told Miles before walking away.
Miles closed the door after saying goodbye to Anya, he dropped the blanked and sighed in relief that she didn't catch him in his suit and find out his secret.
"That's was too close." Miles told Ganke.
"So what was that you just did with your hands?" Ganke is curious about Miles's new power.
"Apparently I got this new power to channel electricity through my hands that I didn't know about until now, it's called the Venom Blast." Miles told Ganke.
"From what I can see, you seem to have trouble controlling it." Ganke told Miles.
"Hopefully tomorrow my spider friends will be able to help me find a way to control it. I have a feeling I'm going to need it very soon." Miles told Ganke.
Miles is worried whether or not he'll be able to control this new ability, he'll need it in his fight against Hydro-Man who is too tough for the three heroes together, and he'll need to keep himself in check to prevent any accidental discharge of his powers out in the open.
It's 7:30 PM on a Saturday at the Spider-Cave, both Peter and Gwen each spent the night sleeping in their respective bunks at the lair as the alarm clock on their phones rang, they've started to wake up and yawned out.
"Morning, Gwen." Peter rubbing his eyes.
"Morning to you too, Pete." Gwen stretched her arms.
They got themselves up as they've entered a what appears to be a old station restroom that has been retrofitted into a bathroom with cleans sinks and a shower stall, they both started to brush their teeth.
Sometime after they've finished brushed their teeth in the bathroom, they have coffee and some cronuts as Miles Morales came into the lair and is surprised to see them here early.
"You're both early." Miles told his friends.
"We never left, we've spent the night here together." Peter told Miles.
"Oh." Miles looked a bit shocked.
"Not like that." Gwen told Miles.
"I'm not judging, what you two do is your business. Are those cronuts?" Miles eyeballing the box of cronuts.
"Sure, help yourself to some." Peter told Miles.
Miles walked up and took a cronut from the box, he eats it and his eyes are amazed by the taste.
"Mmm, It's good." Miles likes the cronut. "By the way, did you contact that friend of yours, Gwen?"
"Oh, yeah. I finally got in touch with Jessica, she told me that she had trouble with her venom blast when she was a teenager, but she managed to control it through practice, so it is possible for you." Gwen told Miles.
"What do you suggest I do? Because it happened again last night and I came so close to being caught in the act. I can't shake someone hand without zapping them. So tell what should I do?!" Miles is losing his cool.
"Miles, calm down, there's hope for you. We now know that it's possible to control this new power of your, it's a part of you now. You even got control over your invisibility." Peter told Miles.
He's right, tell us, how does your invisible power work?" Gwen asking Miles.
"Well, at first it was triggered by fear, when I get scared I turn invisible without warning. But eventually I figure out how to do it without being afraid." Miles described his invisibility.
"Then that's what you need to do, keep testing your powers until you find a trigger." Peter told Miles.
"How do I do that?" Miles is curious.
"You'll have to tap into your hormonal instincts." Peter told Miles.
"What? I thought the whole point is to make it stop." Miles told Peter.
"Well, to get to the off switch, we have to find the on switch, from there you'll be able to figure out how to use it by your own free will." Peter told Miles.
Peter picked up a box and puts it down on the table as Miles took a peek to see that it's full of lightbulbs.
"Lightbulbs?" Miles is confused.
"Yeah, your hands seemed to be the only source of discharging your powers. All you have to do is hold the lightbulb with your fingers and use your powers to light it up for practice. Go ahead, take one." Peter told Miles.
Miles sighed as he takes one lightbulb out of the box and holds it in his fingers.
"Okay, light it up." Peter told Miles.
Miles holds the lightbulb as he attempts to tap into his hormonal connection to access his new power to channel it into the lightbulb, but still nothing.
"Nothing, this isn't working." Miles failed to do something.
"It's okay, take your time." Peter encourages Miles to try again.
Miles attempts to try again, but he's still not having luck due to him feeling shy in front of Peter and Gwen affecting his concentration.
"Maybe it's better if..." Miles told his friends.
"If you do this alone? Yeah, sorry. Come on, Gwen, let's go to Harry's and check up on our elusive Mr. Osborn. We'll be back later to check up on your progress." Peter told Miles before walking with Gwen.
"Good luck!" Gwen waved to Miles.
Peter and Gwen are leaving the Spider-Cave to check up on Norman Osborn who seems to be the source of Hydro-Man's revenge. Peter and Gwen are already gone as Miles finally has the privacy he needed to practice alone with someone watching him. Miles close his eyes as he attempts to try again, he remembers all the things he saw that trigger his venom blast. All of a sudden his fingers are sparking some voltage and the lightbulb is lighting up, Miles opens his eyes and sees that it's working.
Miles smiled. "It worked!"
Miles got too excited as his fingers are channeling too much power into the bulb and it exploded. Miles got spooked by the exploding lightbulb and he realized that he used up too much power.
"Oops!" Miles felt embarrassed.
It's 8:15 AM at Osborn Manor, Norman Osborn is all dressed up for work as he got so much to do for the day concerning a certain man of water he needed dealt with. At the same time, Peter and Gwen came by and meet up with their friend Harry Osborn.
"Hey Harry." Peter surprised Harry.
"Pete, Gwen, what brings you both by so early this morning?" Harry told his friends.
"We heard about the attempt on your father's life. We wanted to be here for you and see how you're holding up." Gwen told Harry.
"Thanks, you're both the greatest friends a guy could've asked for." Harry told Peter and Gwen.
Norman is walking towards the door. "Alright, son, I'm heading out to..."
Norman stopped his sentence as he see his son Harry in the company of his best friends Peter and Gwen.
"Parker?" Norman surprised to see Peter.
"Mr. Osborn, I heard about what happened yesterday, I'm glad you're okay." Peter told Norman.
"It's going to take more than some delusional thug to intimidate me, but thank you for you concern, Mr. Parker, I appreciate it." Norman told Peter.
"Sure thing." Peter told Norman.
"Now you'll all excuse me, I have a job to do. Enjoy your morning." Norman told them before leaving the manor.
"Huh? He seemed more friendly with you than he is with me." Harry told Peter.
"What makes you say that?" Peter is curious.
"Usually me and my dad don't communicate much, but he seems to have a high respect for you, Pete. I guess in some way he sees himself having more in common with you than me." Harry told Peter.
"I'm flattered, so how was he yesterday?" Peter asking Harry.
"He seems fine considering that a guy made out of water tried to kill him." Harry smiled and scoffed. "As if that's going to make my dad scared."
"Any ideas why this Hydro-Man wants to get back at your dad?" Gwen asking Harry.
"Honestly I don't know, my dad doesn't tell me much about his personal life, like there are things he doesn't want me to know." Harry told his friends.
"That's odd. I thought you as his son knows him best:" Peter told Harry.
"All I know is that lately he's been like ice cold, like there's another side to my father I don't know about. I guess that's what happens when you really don't know that the people closest to you is keeping something from you, wouldn't you say?" Harry told them both.
"Ah... yeah, I guess." Peter looking a bit nervous.
"Yeah, me too." Gwen is also nervous.
Peter and Gwen got nervous when Harry talks like that about those closest to him keeping secrets, they're both keeping secrets concerning their double lives as heroes from him.
"Sorry, guess I'm working through my own issues. Shall we just hang out? This manor is empty and there's lots to do." Harry suggested to his friends.
"Sure, just for a little while." Peter told Harry.
"Great, let's go to the living room where the big screen is." Harry told his friends.
At 9:15 AM at Oscorp, the limousine drives into the parking bay as it arrived at its destination, Donald Menken is waiting as Norman climbs out of the limo.
"Is everything set?" Norman asking Menken.
"Everything is ready, Mr. Osborn." Menken told Norman.
"Excellent, let's get down to business." Norman told Menken.
Both Norman and Menken enters the executive elevator and went up the building, unknown to anyone down in the parking bay, a puddle of water formed up and turned into Hydro-Man.
"This is the end of the line for you, Norman Osborn." Hydro-Man smiles sinisterly.
It's 10:30 AM back at the Spider-Cave, Peter and Gwen just returned from their visit to Osborn Manor to check up on Miles's progress, Miles spotted his friends are back as he's very eager to show them what he can do now.
"How did it go with your visit?" Miles asking them.
"So far there hasn't been another attack, but it's only a matter of time. How is your progress?" Peter asking Miles.
"Glad you asked, check this out." Miles told them.
Miles holds up the lightbulb as he uses his power to keep it lit, Peter and Gwen are amazed that Miles finally has command over his new powers.
"Whoa!!!" Peter and Gwen are amazed.
"You were right, once I figured out, I can finally do this without thinking about... you know." Miles told his friends.
Miles lost focus as the lightbulb popped right in front of them, Miles forgot to shut off his venom blast.
"You sure about that?" Peter having some doubts.
"Trust me, next time I shake hands or high five someone, I'll able to do it without shocking them." Miles told with confidence.
"Well, that's a relief." Peter smiled at Miles.
"Come on, we have a Hydro-Man to catch." Gwen told Miles.
"Agreed, let's suit up." Peter told the team.
Everyone is getting their suits as they're now on a hunt for Hydro-Man and hopes that they'll be able to stop him this time, with Miles's new power they might have an advantage.
It's 11:05 AM at Oscorp Industries, Norman and Menken are inside the R & D complex where all the advancements in science and technology are being developed, including the new state of the art prototype glider. The board members are following Norman around after they heard about the recent attacks against him.
"Do you care to explain why a man who is yet unidentified is targeting you, Norman?"
"With all due respect, this is all a big misunderstanding, clearly this guy is delusional, I don't know what he wants but I won't give in to his threats. If he ever does comes here..." Norman told the board members.
All of a sudden the sprinklers above turned on without warning as the whole place is being rained down with so much water, in the rain what appears to be a man emerging from it, Norman sees that it's Hydro-Man.
"If I ever do come here, you'll do what exactly?" Hydro-Man taking on Norman's threats.
"I anticipated you would come, so I came prepared." Norman told Hydro-Man.
Norman holds a remote as he summoned the security drones armed with advanced weaponry all aiming at Hydro-Man.
"You made a big mistake coming after me, whoever you are." Norman told Hydro-Man.
"Still hiding your true self as always. Don't think that your tin cans will be enough." Hydro-Man told Norman.
"Let's find out." Norman told Hydro-Man.
All the drones fired their laser cannons together as Hydro-Man is taking in all the laser fire that is burning up his body, Norman smiled as they're destroying him bit by bit. The drones all stopped firing as very little remains of Hydro-Man, but all the water around the room from the sprinkler all came up to Hydro-Man's feet and regenerate his entire water body. Norman along with all the board members and staff are stunned to see him back to full strength.
"My turn." Hydro-Man told everyone.
Hydro-Man enlarged his fists and strikes back, destroying the drones bit by bit as the board members and staff are running away in fear. Norman could see that nothing could stop this man of water. Norman attempts to make a run for it while his drones kept Hydro-Man busy.
(Outside)
The three heroes are outside in the neighborhood around Oscorp Tower until they got an alert on the police scanner.
"Attention all units, suspect called Hydro-Man has been reported attacking the Research and Development section of Oscorp Tower, suspect is consider to be extremely dangerous!"
"Knew he would come, let's go!" Spider-Man leads the team.
The three spider heroes swings towards Oscorp Tower where Hydro-Man is reported to been spotted attacking the R & D complex.

Back inside the R & D section, Hydro-Man finished destroying the security drones that failed to eliminate the threat, but he looks around to see that Norman Osborn made his escape during the fight.
Hydro-Man is angry. "You can run, Norman!! But you can't hide!! I'll find you even if I have to tear this whole building down to do it!!"
Norman is running around until he reached the weapons testing room of the building to find some high explosive bombs, he took one with him as he runs towards the exit, but water came and Hydro-Man formed up, blocking Norman's escape.
"Going somewhere?" Hydro-Man telling Norman.
"Yeah." Norman armed the bomb. "Through you!"
Norman tossed the bomb at Hydro-Man as it got lodged onto his chest, the bomb exploded and blew Hydro-Man, Norman cover his face with his arms from the explosion. He stopped covering as he opens his eyes to see that Hydro-Man is nothing but puddles of dirty water around the room. But his efforts are futile as more water from the sprinkler came up and regenerated Hydro-Man back as he extend his arm and grabbed Norman by the neck.
"Impressive, but pointless. All that effort for nothing, and now I have you in my grip." Hydro-Man has Norman at his mercy.
"If you're going to kill me, then do it!" Norman told Hydro-Man.
"Believe me, I'm tempted, but that's too easy. No, I want you to speak to everyone, admit everything you've done to cover up your mess by erasing my whole life, you're going to apologize for what you did to me. I want to see you suffer like I've suffered." Hydro-Man demanded Norman.
"Never!!! I, Norman Osborn, will never apologize!!!" Norman won't give into Hydro-Man's demands.
Hydro-Man got mad. "You erased me once, now I'll do the same to you."
Hydro-Man is about to kill off Norman Osborn once and for all until a machinery got tossed hard at Hydro-Man that he splashed into water, the hand that held Norman's neck disappears and freed the man. Norman sees that the spider heroes came to his rescue once again.
"Run!" Spider-Man told Norman.
Norman listens as he runs away from the scene, Hydro-Man formed himself back up and sees that the spider heroes interrupted his chance at revenge once again.
"You three again?!!!" Hydro-Man got very angry.
"We have some unfinished business!" Spider-Man told Hydro-Man.
"And I'll be the one to finish it once I'm done with your three!!!" Hydro-Man threatens the heroes.
Hydro-Man unleashed the first wave upon the newest hero Kid Arachnid who got pushed back by a strong water burst. Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider split up and each attack Hydro-Man with their impact webbing but it's ineffective against him. Hydro-Man then strikes back by stretching his arm and grabbed Ghost-Spider, he got a hold of her as he cover her in a orb of water with her inside it, Spider-Man sees that she's drowning inside the orb.
"Ghost-Spider, no!!!!" Spider-Man got very worried for Ghost-Spider.
Spider-Man rushed to save Ghost-Spider from being drown to death, but Hydro-Man reacts and used his other arms to unleash a burst stream upon Spider-Man and pinned him down, he then formed an orb around him and now has him trapped just like Ghost-Spider, they're now both drowning in water unable to escape. Kid Arachnid recovers from his injury and sees that Hydro-Man has both Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider trapped inside the water and they're both drowning, running out of air.
"No!!!" Kid Arachnid screams in terror.
Hydro-Man chuckles. "You want them? Come and get them!"
Kid Arachnid wants to save his friends, but normal attacks won't work against him, but he knows something that can, he looks upon his hands and hopes that it'll be enough to save them.
"Come on, it's now or never." Kid Arachnid told himself.
Kid Arachnid charges in and thrust both his hands into Hydro-Man's water body and unleashed his venom blasts all around, Hydro-Man is being shocked and screaming out in pain. Kid Arachnid kept channeling more power into Hydro-Man who is still screaming in pain, Hydro-Man is having trouble maintaining himself through the pain, he splashed into many drops of water as Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider are both free and dropped down, they pulled up their mask partially and cough out water they took in, they both breathed in more air as Kid Arachnid went to them to see that they're still alive.
"Are you both okay?!" Kid Arachnid asked his teammates.
"Yeah... thanks." Spider-Man told Kid Arachnid.
"You saved our lives again." Ghost-Spider told Kid Arachnid.
"It was my pleasure, told you both I got this!" Kid Arachnid told his teammates.
Unfortunately their celebration got cut short as their spider sense all tingled together, they turn to see bits of water moving towards each other, Hydro-Man is assembling himself back together and forming up.
"Damn, is there anything that can stop this guy?" Kid Arachnid told his teammates.
"You've seemed to hurt him with your venom blast, care to try again?" Ghost-Spider suggested to Kid Arachnid.
Kid Arachnid holds out his hands getting ready to use his venom blast again against Hydro-Man, but he's can't since he's all drained out.
"What's the matter?" Spider-Man asking Kid Arachnid.
"I can't do it again, I'm all out of juice, I used up too much power trying to save your lives. I'm sorry, guys." Kid Arachnid told his teammates.
"It's alright, we'll find another way." Spider-Man told Kid Arachnid.
"What else can work against water? Think!" Ghost-Spider asking her teammates.
Spider-Man is looking around to find something that could help them in their fight against Hydro-Man, Hydro-Man is forming back up, he spotted what appears to be tanks labeled LN2, Liquid Nitrogen.
"I got an idea." Spider-Man has a plan.
Spider-Man rushed towards the tanks as Hydro-Man has finally formed back up and still in his water form. Spider-Man picked up a tank of liquid nitrogen, Spider-Man returned to his friends to face Hydro-Man again and hopes what he's got will stop him once and for all.
"Nice try, kid, but nothing can stop me!" Hydro-Man being overconfident.
"Let's test that theory!" Spider-Man told Hydro-Man.
Spider-Man tossed the tank at Hydro-Man hoping that I'll be enough to stop him, Hydro-Man used his fist to smash down the tank as it's created a crack that's spilling out liquid nitrogen all around him.
"Is that the best you got?! Pathetic!!" Hydro-Man isn't impressed.
Hydro-Man moves in for an attack, but he stopped as he looks down on his feet freezing up upon contact with the liquid nitrogen and is only freezing him up to the rest of his body.
"What did you do?!!!" Hydro-Man is troubled.
"Chem 101, what happens when you expose LN2 to H2O?" Spider-Man told Hydro-Man.
"Noooo!!!!" Hydro-Man yells out.
Hydro-Man reached out his arm to do something but was too late, he became frozen as the liquid nitrogen turned the entire water in his body into ice, Ghost-Spider and Kid Arachnid witnessed Hydro-Man turning into ice.
"He's... frozen, how?" Kid Arachnid is curious.
"That's the effects of LN2, also known as Liquid Nitrogen, upon exposure it froze up the H2O that made up his entire body and became solid as ice." Spider-Man explained in science terms.
"I'm sorry, I don't know quite understand what you're saying?" Miles doesn't understand.
"Basically, it froze up the water and turn it into ice." Ghost-Spider explained in layman's terms.
"Oh!" Miles finally understands.
"Well, now that we've turned him into a popsicle, our job is done, time to bring in S.H.I.E.L.D. to take possession of him." Spider-Man suggested to his teammates.
(Later)
It's 11:35 AM outside of Oscorp Tower, a quinjet is outside as S.H.I.E.L.D. agents are taking a frozen Hydro-Man on board to be transported to the Raft where he belongs.
"Be sure to keep him on ice!" Spider-Man told the agents.
The agents took Hydro-Man on board as the heroes turn their attention to Norman Osborn speaking to the press about another attack against him as he attempts to cover up his involvement in certain things.
"Mr. Osborn, do you have anything to say about this second attack against you?!"
"Well, I still don't know why this Hydro-Man wanted from me, but I'm just glad that this whole nightmare is over thanks to our heroes Spider-Man and his friends saving the day." Norman told the press.
Spider-Man looks at Norman speaking to the press and can't help but wonders what he's involved in due to Harry telling him and Gwen about his father hiding something, that and all the unfortunate accidents that happened to Oscorp in the past two years.
"Everything okay?" Ghost-Spider asking Spider-Man.
"Yeah, just there's something shady about Norman Osborn." Spider-Man told Ghost-Spider.
"What do you mean?" Kid Arachnid is curious.
"Just a feeling, but either way we need to keep an eye on him." Spider-Man told his teammates.
Spider-Man is getting suspicious of Norman Osborn due to all the coincidences that happened in the past two years related to certain events he came across.
It's now 2:30 PM back at Brooklyn Visions Academy, Ganke is watching the news on the laptop of the spider heroes taking down Hydro-Man and saving Norman Osborn.
"Earlier today, the unknown man known as Hydro-Man has finally be brought to justice for his crimes against Norman Osborn thanks to our three heroes lead by Spider-Man."
Ganke heard the door opening as Miles came in with a box of pizza in his hands, Ganke turned off the laptop and is happy Miles brought food.
"Smells great, what kinda pizza is it from?" Ganke asking about the pizza.
"From Joe's on Bleeker Street. Want some?" Miles told Ganke.
"Thanks, I'm starving." Ganke smiled at Miles.
Miles puts down the pizza box as he and Ganke each got a slice and chow down their food, their meal got interrupted by a knock on the door. Miles puts down his slice and wipes off his hands with a napkin, he gets up and walked to the door, he opens it to see Anya today.
"Hey Miles, wanted to see if you're alright. Ganke told me that you already left this morning." Anya told Miles.
"Yeah, I just needed to walk around, I'm okay by the way, apparently what I caught wasn't so serious as I thought." Miles told Anya.
"I see, I'm glad you're feeling fine. If you'll excuse me." Anya told Miles.
"Hey Anya!" Miles calling to Anya.
Anya stopped and turns around looking back at Miles.
"Want some pizza?" Miles is wondering.
Anya smiled. "Sure."
Anya walked back into the dorm room to hang out with Miles and Ganke for some pizza. Anya holds out her hand to Miles.
"What's this?" Miles asking Anya.
"We hardly hang out, so let's introduce ourselves again. Hi, my name is Anya." Anya told Miles.
Anya still has her hand out as Miles reached out and hesitates as to whether shake hands or not, he then took her hand and shakes it with his without being being able to shock her by accident, he's in full control of his venom blast.
"Hi, I'm Miles." Miles shakes hands with Anya.
"Well, are you both going to stand there? Come on, the pizza is still warm." Ganke told Miles and Anya.
Miles and Anya smiled as they all joined to have pizza together and talking, getting to know each other.
Back at Oscorp, Norman came into his office after dealing with the press all day questioning him about Hydro-Man's motives for attacking him, Menken came into the office to check up on his boss.
"I see that you've managed to sweep this under the rug as always." Menken told Norman.
"For now, but what about tomorrow or the next day, I'm going to need something that'll give me an edge against my enemies. By the way, do you remember that super soldier project we were developing before it got mothballed?" Norman told Menken.
"Yes, the performance enhancers, what about it?" Menken told Norman.
"I want to revive the project, it may prove itself useful to me one day." Norman told Menken.
"I understand, sir, but the experiment is still incomplete, it'll take years to perfect it." Menken told Norman.
"Then I suggested you get started immediately, bring in Dr. Stromm and have this project kept off the books, understood?" Norman told Menken.
"Yes sir. Excuse me." Menken told Norman before walking away.
Norman sits alone in his office thinking of the future he has in store, he realizes that in order to survive this world full of power, he'll need power of his own, he hopes that this project will give him the power he needs to eliminate all his enemies, including Spider-Man.
Meanwhile at the underwater base, Doctor Octopus is standing before a frozen Hydro-Man still on ice in the company of what appears to be a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent who was there at Oscorp taking in the supervillain.
"Well done, you managed to switch out the real Hydro-Man with an ice duplicate. Your gifts are truly impressive... Chameleon." Doctor Octopus told the Chameleon.
This S.H.I.E.L.D. agent removes his face mask and reveals himself as the Chameleon, the master of disguise.
"Thank you, they don't call me master of disguise for nothing." Chameleon told Doctor Octopus.
Doctor Octopus turns on the heater as it's melting the ice that is holding Hydro-Man frozen solid, until now as Hydro-Man is back and free from the ice, he recovers his strength only to see that he's somewhere underwater with two supervillains in front of him.
"What going on? Where am I?" Hydro-Man is confused.
"You're in my hideout, Hydro-Man, we've managed to take you before you were taken to the Raft where you've mostly like spent the rest of your days on ice, you're welcome by the way. I've been watching you and you've shown great potential, I thought you could a valuable addition to my new team I'm building." Doctor Octopus told Hydro-Man.
"Look, I appreciate you helping me out of a bad situation, but I got some unfinished business to take care of." Hydro-Man turns down Doc Ock's proposition.
"Getting revenge on Norman Osborn? Believe me, you're not the only one who has been victimized because of him. I'd be tempted to let you go and finish of the bastard, but I bigger things in mind. If you help me with my master plan, I'll be able to help you get back what Osborn took from you. Interested?" Doctor Octopus told his proposal.
Hydro-Man smiled and tempted. "I'm listening?"
