I know I'm supposed to be working on my "The Loud House: Suddenly Sinful" fan fiction series, but I wanted to write something different and quick.

Chapter 1: So It Begins (Again)

In the void between universes a young Lincoln Loud hurtles towards someplace unknown. But no, this isn't his story. He will soon have enough sinful problems of his own to deal with. This story is about a Lincoln Loud from a universe a bit more south. (A little bit more. That's the one.) A Lincoln Loud whose own sinful past was about to catch up with him.

It was late Friday afternoon when Lincoln finally got to his second floor two bedroom apartment in inner city Royal Woods. Lucky for him the office building he worked in was only five minutes' walk away from his place. This meant he didn't have to worry about getting stuck in afternoon traffic on the way home or missing an episode of his favourite reality TV show, Breakup Submarine.

"I'm home." Lincoln exclaimed to his empty domicile. Now at age thirty-seven, Lincoln lived alone.

'Quiet as ever.' He thought placing the bag with his laptop on the kitchen counter and heading for his usual spot in front of the TV.

Grabbing the TV remote Lincoln sunk into his faux leather couch letting out a 'sigh' his younger self would have referred to as an old man noise. "Show time." He said turning on the TV.

After five whole minutes of commercials Lincoln's eyes tiredly drifted from the TV to a photo on the wall next to it. A photo taken on the last day they were all together. The day of Bobby and Lori's wedding. What a complete fuckup that turned out to be. In fact, it was one of the reasons he and his siblings haven't spoken in nearly a decade.

"I miss you dad." Lincoln said looking at the smiling man in the back of the photo. "What would you do if you were here?" He asked not expecting any answer. After all, that would be spooky. Lynn Sr. passed away a month after the "wedding fiasco" from a then undiagnosed illness.

Lincoln was positive that if his father were still alive he'd have found a way to sort this mess out. "I wish you'd just tell me what to do." He shook his head and turned his attention back to the TV. There was no use talking to a dead man.

Next up, Breakup Submarine, followed by, Breakup Submarine: Behind the Scenes, only on WOLF.

Oh, Breakup Submarine was about to start. He couldn't wait. Let the drama begin.

DING! the doorbell chimed.

'Who's that now? Can't I just get one day for myself?' Lincoln thought as he pushed his tired body off of the couch. Who the hell had the gall to bother him during his show?

DING! the doorbell sounded once more.

"I'm coming!" He growled making his way to the front door.

DING! DING!

'Really?' He grimaced as he tossed the door open in annoyance. "I said I was… L-Lori?" The man asked now in shock. His estranged older sister was one of the last people he ever expected to see when opening the front door. How after all these years did she manage to look both the same and completely different? Gone were the cyan tank top and brown shorts. Now she wore a grey business suit and… glasses? That was new.

"Lincoln. We need to talk." Lori said stepping aside to reveal a shorter, slightly plumper version of her with messy blonde hair. "Hi… dad."

"Fuck." The main reason for the family split.

Let the drama begin.

So there's something. Should I continue? You tell me.

Till next time, take care and stay safe.
