The darkness is very dark
It hinders one to clearly see
Maybe it really prevents them
From being all they can be
Guidance is seldom welcomed
Everyone thinks they know it all
It appears the end result of it
Is they just have longer to fall
Why won't someone listen
To one who has been down the same path
To repeat the same mistakes
Only furthers another's wrath
To wade into the muck
Is a messy business indeed
The goal is to salvage

When one cares for another
