We open with a blonde haired boy with three whisker marks on each cheek walking down the sidewalk of the city, this boy was Naruto Uzumaki and while usually he had at least a smile on his face today he wasn't as happy, recently he had something strange happen to him last night he had a nightmare where he was outside his own body like a ghost and he was falling through what felt like other worlds some beautiful, some wierd, some terrifying, the dream ended with him seeing a building with a window on top of it that seemed to be otherworldly to him
Now normally Naruto would just cop this dream to just a reason to not have eaten after midnight but this dream felt way too real to him to just ignore
'Hmmm I know I have seen that building with the weird window here in the city before' Naruto thought as he turned a corner on the sidewalk
Naruto then herd some flapping and turned his head to see a orange colored bird land on his shoulder "hey bud." he said stroking it feathers as it rubbed against his fingers
The bird looked at Naruto as if inspecting him and soon spotted a bead bracelet with old ruins on Naruto's wrist
Naruto smiled at this as he held up his wrist. "You like it? its something my mom gave me when I was a kid said it would protect me" He said as he thought about his mom
The bird looked at the necklace and suddenly it gave a cry and grabbed at the bracelet with his beak
"Hey! Give me that!" Naruto yelled as the bird took the bead bracelet of his wrist and flew off
Naruto chased after the bird down the street intent on getting his bracelet back
As he turned a corner Naruto paused and his eyes widened as he spotted the same building with the other worldly window on the third floor
Naruto looked at the building and noticed it looked old but what was weird was that people were walking past the building like it wasn't even there
Naruto spotted some teen taking selfie nearby but completely ignoring the building with the weird window
'Ok something strange is going on teens would definitely take a picture of that building since it stands out' Naruto thought as he spotted the Bird with his bracelet enter the weird window on the third floor of the building
hey! get back here with my bracelet! Naruto yelled as he approached the building not noticing a older woman on the other side of the strange window
She was bald and seemed to be of Celtic descent
She watched at Naruto approached the buildings door hmmmm haven't had anyone notice the sanatorium in over 50 years' she thought in interest as she watched Naruto "let's see if he has the courage to take a look at such a strange building" she thought as she waved her hand
Naruto approached the door of the building and raised his hand to knock but to his surprise the door opened on its own for him
"…..Ok that's not a bad sign" Naruto said out loud as he walked inside the building
as he walked he looked around and saw grand staircase and lots of old paintings objects placed everywhere
He looked and saw a box on a pedestal, his curiosity drew it to him until a hand smacked his hand away from it
"Please refrain from touching anything." the woman said making her presence known to Naruto
"Sorry ma'am" Naruto said as he pulled his hand back and rubbed it
"Quite alright young man, now what brings you here?" the woman asked curiously
Naruto chuckled at this. "Would you believe I had a dream about this place?" he asked as he rubbed the back of his head sheepishly
the woman paused at this and raised an eyebrow "Is that so? tell me about this dream" she said curious about this boy
"Well it was really weird it started with me outside my body like a ghost, and the next thing I know I was flying through all these weird worlds one after the other and it ended with me seeing this building" Naruto said as he looked at a painting nearby that was of a castle in a lush kingdom
the woman's eyes widened slightly at this 'he went into the Astral realm? he's just a teen boy and he did it randomly" she thought in surprise
"Sounds crazy huh? "Naruto asked with a sheepish chuckle
the woman shook her head at this as she smiled "No not at all" she said
"Does this happen often?" Naruto asked as he looked at another painting of what looked like a white and violet palace
"Not really but it's been known to happen with the people I train" The woman said as she watched Naruto appreciate the art
"Train?" Naruto asked wondering if this woman was a martial arts instructor as he did notice she carried herself with confidence
"Follow me young man we can discuss it over tea" The woman said as she led Naruto up the grand steps
Naruto followed the woman up to the third floor and soon found himself in a room with all kinds of objects on shelves and in glass cases
"Remember don't touch anything young man" the woman said with a chuckle at how curious Naruto was
"You can call me Naruto, Naruto Uzumaki ma'am" he said as he inspected a glass case that had a red cloak hanging in it
"Hmmm that means maelstrom doesn't it?" The woman said as she waved her hands while Naruto was distracted and made a table with a tray of cookies and two tea cups and a teapot appear beside her
Naruto turned to look at her at this "Finally! Do you know how many people think it means a ramen topping?" he asked with a smile
the woman chuckled at this "I would imagine quote a few" she said as she sat down at the table while Naruto sat down with her too
"Yea only person besides you who got it was this new kid at school Taranee" Naruto said with a chuckle as he took a cup of tea
the woman smiled at this as she poured some tea into Naruto's cup for him "sugar?" she asked as she reached for a jar of sugar cubes
Naruto frowned at this well "I'm not really a tea guy I just took it to be polite" he said with a sheepish grin
"Well what do you drink?" The woman asked with a small smile
"Well I like cola fine enough but-" Naruto was saying before he noticed that the cup of tea in his hand was replaced with a can of cola
"Better?" she asked with a smile finding his surprise amusing
"Uh yea what was that? I may have a wandering mind but I can tell when something is going on" Naruto said as he put the can of cola on the table
"Would you believe it was magic?" the woman asked as she made some sugar cubes flour over to her cup and fall into the cup
Naruto raised a eyebrow at this but stayed in his seat as unknown to him his mind would be open to so much more in the coming months
Naruto then noticed the bird he had encountered land on Tildas shoulder his Bracelet in his beak
"Hey! Give that back you seed sucking thief!" Naruto said with a annoyed look
The bird spat the bracelet at Naruto nailing him in the forehead making Naruto groan
"Fenix seems to have wanted to lead you here" The woman said with a chuckle at her bird as she pet it
yea well it has a bad way of getting my attention my mom made this Naruto grumbled as he put the bracelet back on
the woman looked at the bracelet and noticed the ruins on it "Ah Kushinas child…I see" she mused with a mental frown

Naruto walked down the street with a smile as he hummed a tune as he made his way out of Sheffield high
"Hey Naruto!" a young female voice yelled getting Naruto's attention
she was a girl with straw-blonde hair, worn in braids she was wearing a baggy violet sweater with a black stripe through the middle, she was wearing a necklace with a red M that had ruins on it, she also had a purple skirt that seemed tight around her hips but seemed like it fit and it only reached above her knees this was Elyon Naruto's sister
"Hey sis" Naruto said with a smile at his sister
"Where are you going?" Elyon asked curiously as over the past year Naruto had been going to some after school activity but he was vague about it
"Meeting up with my teacher miss, Tilda hates tardiness " Naruto said with a nervous chuckle as over the past year his master had been teaching him the mystic arts but she was also teaching him how to fight and she was…..quite strict in her teachings
"This the same teacher that gave you a black eye?" Elyon asked with a flat tone at her Brother
"That was 9 months ago, I have gotten a lot better" Naruto said with a chuckle
"Well don't be late getting home, moms making ramen after her shift at the Silver Dragon" Elyon said with a sigh as she knew there was no stopping Naruto from going to his class
"mmmm ramen" Naruto said with a smile as he loved ramen
"Hey Elyon!" a female voice called out getting her attention
"There's your shopping buddy" Naruto said with a chuckle
"Oh you like her, otherwise you wouldn't let me be friends with her." Elyon said as she rolled her eyes at her border being protective
"Better than that guy with the nose piercings." Naruto said flatly
"Hey that was back in the 5th grade."" Elyon said with a huff
the teen girl approaching had caucasian skin and had a very well built figure and long blond hair that reached down to her waist she also had gorgeous blue eyes she was wearing a pink tank top that was attached to a pink metal ring wrapped around her neck and wore blue skinny jeans this was Cornelia Hale Elyons best friend
"Hey Naruto" she said with a smile at her fellow blond
"What?" Naruto said putting a hand to his ear
"I said–" Cornelia was saying before she was cut off
"I-I can't seem to hear you there must be a… rose in my ear" Naruto said as he pulled a literal rose out of his ear
"You and your magic" Elyon said with a chuckle as Naruto handed the rose to Cornelia who took it with a smile
"Hey if I can make at least one person smile a day then I've done my good deed for the day." Naruto said happily as he had learned to use magic to look like he knew that fake magic stage magicians used
"Aren't you gonna be tardy to a certain place?" Elyon said with a chuckle
"oh jeez!" Naruto yelled as he ran off down the street
Cornelia watched Naruto leave with a smile
"uh hem" Elyon said clearing her throat getting her best friends attention
"What? you can't blame me your brother is so hot" Cornelia said with a smile
"So every girl in school says." Elyon said flatly
"Yea to bad your brother is dense" Another voice said it was another teen girl she had tan skin and a great body with some nice curves she also had short wavy auburn colored hair and had blue eyes she was wearing a short red tank top with a single strap on her left shoulder she was also wearing tight dark blue skinny jeans with red lines in the back this was Irma lair another of Elyon and Cornelias friends
"Yea I know" Elyon said with a groan at how dance her brother was
"Anyway Corny Hay Lin said we need to meet up with her at the Silver Dragon" Irma said with a smirk at the blonde teen
"Don't call me that!" Cornelia said with a scowl
"You go ahead Cornelia I need to get home early anyway" Elyon said with a chuckle at her friend's
Cornelia nodded as she followed Irma down the street while Elyon went the opposite way

Naruto ran down the street in a rush to get to the sanatorium but paused in front of said building
what got his attention was a crying kid as he saw the girl had let go of her balloon so he walked over "Hey, watch this." he said with a wink as he pulled out a small plastic bag
He gave it a whirl before crumbling it in his hand
The kid tilted her head before getting in awe as she and her mother watched as he blew a balloon out of his hand before tying some string around it
"Here you go." Naruto said with a smile giving the little girl a head rub as the girl and her mother walked off with smiles on their faces
Naruto chuckled at this as he entered the sanatorium
"You're late young student" Tilda said with a hard tone as she waited at the top of the grand staircase
"Sorry a kid was crying and I just had to cheer her up." Naruto said sheepishly
"Your need to make people smile amazes even me" Tilda said with a smile as she shook her head at her student
"So I'm not in trouble?" Naruto asked hopefully
Tilda looked at Naruto at this and nodded "Very well today I have something to tell you anyway she said as she led Naruto upstairs
"Is this another lesson about one of those other worlds?" Naruto asked with a slight groan
"You are training to defend this world should others invade or harm it so knowing what you may go up against one day is needed" Tilda said
Naruto sighed and nodded at this "Ok what's the lesson?"
"Today I am gonna tell you about the guardians of the veil Tilda said as she waved her hand and made a magic image appear of what looked like a violet crystal

Naruto frowned when the image of the crystal faded "So you're telling me some of friends are now tasked with defending earth from some power hungry prince?" he asked not liking the fact that his friends were expected to fight when they had zero experience unlike him who had a year of training under his belt
"I'm afraid so my student" Tilda said with a nod
"How could this get any worse?" Naruto asked as he sat down in a chair
"You are going to help them" Tilda said simply
"And there it is" Naruto groaned as he slapped his forehead
"It is the duty of the sorcerer supreme to assist those who help defend our world" Tilda said
"Yea but that's you" Naruto said with a raised eyebrow
"And your my student who I'm entrusting to help guide the guardians in there new job" Tilda said with a firm tone
Naruto sighed at this "This better have some perks" he said
"You will be allowed to tell the guardians about your powers and I will allow you to take the cloak of- Tilda was saying before she was cut off
suddenly a red cloak flew past her and talked Naruto making him laugh
"You were supposed to wait" Tilda said with a sigh at the cloak of levitation which was alive and chose its wielder
"Well at least now I will look cool as a sorcerer" Naruto said as the cloak placed itself on his back
"Sorcerer in training, you truly gain the title when i find that you are ready" Tilda said
"Eh I'll take it" Naruto said with a shrug not really bothered
Tilda chuckled at this glad that Naruto didn't mind being in training "Your friends are training under the bridge near the outskirts of town so head there right away" she said
Naruto nodded at this as he knew where she was talking about and raised his right hand with a small two finger ring, with a bar across it.
Naruto waved his hand and made a circle of sparks which made a portal which he walked through it

under a bridge Irma and Cornelia were with 3 of their friends
one girl had dark skin and a skinny figure she had short black hair that only went a little past her shoulders, she wore glasses over her amber colored eyes and was wearing a louse orange shirt with yellow sleeves and a yellow tank top she also wore tight saggy light gray jeans this was Taranee Cook
another of them had pale skin long black hair in a ponytail that reached her waist she had a very skinny figure and black eyes that seemed to sparkle she was also wearing a low cut pink skirt with long vertical yellow lines for each strap this was Hay Lin
the final teen girl was a redhead who's hair only reached her neck she was wearing a grey jacket a green shirt and blue jeans this was Will Vandom
"Well this training didn't exactly go well did it?" Taranee asked with a frown
"Nope" Cornelia said with a frown
"What are you talking about? I can fly!" Hay Lin said with a excited smile
"Yea and not crash like the rest of us" Irma said with a shake of her head at her friend's excitement
"You're just mad because you suck at flying" Hay Lin said with a pout at her friend's attitude
"I can agree to that" a voice said from behind them
"Who said that?" Will asked surprised as they all turned around but saw nobody there
"Up here"The voice said sounding amused
The girls looked up to see Naruto floating above them with his cloak flapping in the wind looking at them
"Naruto?!" Cornelia Irma Taranie and Hay Lin yelled in surprise while wills mouth hung open in surprise
"Sup girls" Naruto said as he floated down with a smile as he held up his hand in greeting
suddenly behind the guardians a blue light lit up and a portal opened behind them
Naruto made hand movements before rings with ruins appeared around his hands as he got ready
"What the hell?" Irma asked with wide eyes
"Focus!" Naruto said firmly making the girls jump back from the portal
suddenly a teen boy in a brown longboat ran out of the portal before what looked like a humanoid snake monster came out and grabbed the teen boy
"You won't escape me, rebel!" the snake man yelled
"hey!" Naruto yelled at the snake man
The snack man then looked at him
"As a sorcerer of earth I have the authority to order you to leave this world at once" Naruto said as he took a ready stance he had perfected over the last year
this got wide eyes from the guardians
"a sorcerer? on earth?" The snake man asked surprised
Naruto then thrust his right hand forward shooting the snake man with bolts of magical energy
"Agh! you dare?!" the snake man roared in pain
"You bet I do snake boy now go on get!" Naruto yelled as he made a whip of energy and cracked it at the snake man
"Will the heart!" Taranee yelled to the leader of the guardians
"Oh! right!" will yelled as she took out a crystal she was holding and held it up at the portal which started to close
"hey! don't forget about me!" the teen boy that was being held by snake man yelled in a panic
Naruto nodded as he charged a spell and blasted the snake man sending him flying back into the closing portal which caused him to drop the teen boy
"Whoa" Irma said impressed with Naruto's display
"Yeah well welcome to what my life is going to be one day" Naruto said as he grinned
"That's so cool! you know actual magic!" Hay Lin yelled excitedly
"Yep now let– ugh, deal with the stinky guy" Naruto said as his cape waved in front of his face
"Hey I was chased through a swamp" the teen said with a scowl
"That explains the smell" Cornelia said
"let's get back to the Silver Dragon Yan Lin should know something about that snake freak" Will said with a frown as she put away the heart of Kandrakar
"Good idea your the new kid Will, right? Naruto asked curiously
"Uh, yeah, hi." Will said sheepishly
"….I like your hair" Naruto said with a smile before he turned around and made a portal with his sling ring
Will blushed at this in surprise as she had never had anyone complement her hair before she composed herself. "What's that?" she asked gesturing at the portal
"it looks like a portal" The teen boy said as he approached and inspected it
"Yea but if only leads to places on earth now everyone in it will lead us to the Silver Dragon" Naruto said as he held out his hands at them to move along
"Oh cool instant transportation, do you have a tip jar?" Irma asked with a smirk as they all started to walk through the portal
Naruto rolled his eyes at this as he followed before closing the portal behind him

the teens were all sitting around a table telling Hay lin's grandmother what had happened at the bridge while the teen boy they saved introduced himself as Caleb
"Ah so Tilda finally took on a student" Yan Lin said with a smile at Naruto
"That'd be me, after finding that house of hers." Naruto said with a chuckle"
"She's usually not one to take a student but I suppose she was impressed with the fact you saw through her magic which make its so the Santorum is not noticed by normal people" Yan Lin said with a nod
"San huh?" Irma asked curiously while the other guardians had confused looks
"It's where I go after school to learn magic Naruto said keeping it simple
"Sanctum Sanctorum the place where the sorcerer supreme lives where knowledge of just about anything can be found alongside dangerous artifacts the world doesn't need to know about" Yan Lin explained to the girls and Caleb
"So that's where you have been going after school the past year" Cornelia said with a look of realization
"Yep I'm being trained to become the new Sorcerer Supreme" Naruto said with a proud smile
"That why you have a cloak- ow!" Taranee was saying as she went to poke the cloak which slapped her finger surprising her and the others
"Don't poke it, it hates that" Naruto said with a chuckle
"That thing is alive?" Will asked surprised
"Yea but he makes it so I can fly Naruto said with a smile at his cloak
"Oh that's so cool, it's like a magic pet!" Hay Lin said excitedly
the cloak started to shake at this while Naruto patted the cloak to calm it
"He didn't like that, besides I tried to ask her for a dragon, didn't go well" Naruto said with a chuckle
"Ah yes my old friend doesn't tolerate nonsense much like your mother Yan Lin said to Naruto
"Oh shit! I'm late for dinner!" Naruto yelled as he stood up in a panic
"Oh damn you better run babe" Irma said with a chuckle as she knew naruto's mom wasn't one to mess with
Naruto did a spell to change his clothes to his normal attire and quickly ran out of the restaurant
"Hey! I need a portal home!" Caleb yelled after him
"He can only make portals to other places in the world's he's in not to other worlds" Yan Lin said as she shook her head
"Great." Caleb groaned as he slapped his forehead
"Now now you can stay here can't have you wondering around in a world you don't know I'll even give you a job" Yan Lin said trying to put the young rebel leader at ease
"But I have to find a portal. I have a rebellion to get back to leading." Caleb said with a firm tone
"Well until we find a portal your stuck here Mr rebel leader" Will said as she and the other guardians got up to leave
"Great, stuck in a world with… nonsense." Caleb grumbled to himself
"You think that's bad wait until you meet miss Kushina" Hay Lin said with a laugh while the others besides Will shuddered
"... Why does that name sound familiar to me?" Caleb muttered as he headed back into sat down
"Who's Kushina?" Will asked curiously since she was still new to town
"Oh she's my head chef at the restaurant" Yan Lin said with a smile
"Yea and she's crazy as hell" Cornelia said with a shudder
"Kinda nice once you get to know her" Hay Lin said nervously trying to see the bright side
"Oh please she would make Gordon Ramsey flinch" Irma said with a chuckle
"ok avoid Kushina got it" Will said with a nod of understanding
"Hard to do since she is Elyon and Naruto's mom" Taranee said with a sigh
"Gordon who?" Caleb asked cluelessly
the guardians sighed at this as they shook their heads
"Then there's Naruto's dad who's my dad's police partner" Irma said changing the subject
"Police? What's a police?" Caleb asked curiously
"Well… they're people who keep order like if someone does a crime they catch them and make sure they face justice for their crime." Hay Lin said trying to keep it simple for him
"Oh, like a Knight or guardian?" Caleb asked trying to understand
"Only without the powers though I swear Minato has to have powers to run at the speeds I've seen him do." Irma said with a smile
"Well considering I can't leave, where am I supposed to sleep?" Caleb asked Yan Lin since she was the elder
"Follow me Caleb" Yan Lin said as she led the way to the basement
the guardians left the restaurant to head home
"Is Kushina really that bad?" Will asked curiously
"No she just doesn't tolerate nonsense" Irma said as she shook her head
"So she won't punish Naruto for being late?" Will asked hoping Naruto wouldn't get in trouble for helping them
"Not if he has a good enough excuse." Cornelia said hoping Naruto would be ok

Naruto slowly opened the door to his home and snuck in and made his way to the stairs leading upstairs hoping if he made it into his room he could pretend he's been home
"Freeze brat!" a woman's voice yelled out from the dining room
"Damn… so close." Naruto said as he sighed
"You're late for dinner! Elyon yelled as her and a older woman with long red hair came to confront him this was Kushina Naruto and elyon's mother
"I was with Cornelia and her friends at the silver dragon, helping some homeless guy." Naruto said deciding to tell a half truth
Kushina glared at Naruto who stared back at her and started to sweat at the intensity of her glare
she then smiled "Ok your only 4 minutes late so I'll let you off with a warning dear" she said as she turned to go back into the dining room
"Oh thank god" Naruto said as he let out a breath of relief
"So you helped a homeless guy today?" Elyon asked as her and Naruto followed there mother into the dining room
"Yep" Naruto said with a nod at his sister
"You find a place for him to stay?" Kushina asked as she carried a pot into the dining room and placed it on the table
"He's staying in the restaurants basement" Naruto said as he helped Elyon set the table
"Hmmmm if I know Yan Lin she's gonna give him a job" Kushina said with a nod
"Be nice mom he's around my age and has had it rough" Naruto said with a frown as he thought about what's going on in meridian
"Is he cute?" Elyon asked with a smile
"None of your business" Naruto said firmly
Kushina laughed at this "Awww my baby is still protective of his sister" she said as she tousled his hair
"Says the woman who pulled out a shotgun the last time she tried to bring a boy home" Naruto grumbled out
"Hey! That guy had a pierced nose!" Kushina yelled In a rage at this
"He went running the moment he saw you." Naruto said with a chuckle
"This is ridiculous I'm almost 16 and -" Elyon was saying before she was cut off
"I don't object to you dating I just wish it was with someone better" Kushina said wanting to be clear with her daughter
"Not everyone can have a line of girls after him" Elyon grumbled under her breath as she gesturEd to Naruto
huh? Naruto asked not hearing all of what his sister said
Kushina shook her head at this 'why is my brat so dense?' she thought as she sighed
"Look sis how's about this, I'll….try to be more willing to let you date but they get a three strike rule" Naruto said
"Better than nothing." Elyon muttered out as she knew that was the best she would get
"Get your ramen before me or Naruto eat it all." Kushina said as she filled her and narutos bowl
"What about dad?" Elyon asked curiously as she got her bowl

"There you are" Kushina said with a smile as she kissed her husband on the cheek
"Ah busy day, 2 muggings, one jay walker and 1 drunk homeless guy" Minato said with a sigh as he sat down at the table
"Hey that sounds like a good day if it didn't end with a arrest" Naruto said as he sat down with his bowl of ramen along with Elyon
"So… hung out with Cornelia did you?" Elyon said with a raised eyebrow
"Yea her and the others where showing the new girl will around…..so what?" Naruto asked with a raised eyebrow
"Just saying… you spent the entire day with 5 girls and took them to a restaurant." Elyon said teasingly
"Yea they are my friends" Naruto said wondering where Elyon was going with this
"For now." Elyon muttered with a snicker
"There's a new girl? Kushina asked curiously as she ate
"Will Vandom, a red head." Elyon said with a grin knowing what her mom would think
"Just know this honey… I ain't rushing for grandchildren so take it slow please." Kushina said with a evil grin
"I just met her mom!" Naruto yelled as he turned red embarrassment at the implications
This made Elyon and Kushina laugh while Minato chuckled as the family ate dinner

Inside the throne room of the castle of meridian the snake man was bowing to a man who was sitting on the throne
the man had long silver hair and yellow eyes this was prince Phobos
"Lord Phobos I regret to report that the rebel leader escaped through the veil."
Phobos glared at this "How could you have lost him on earth Cedric?" he demanded of his right hand man
"I was attacked by a teen boy" Cedric hissed with a glare
"You lost to a mere child?!" Phobos shouted as the room shook
"No, he claimed to be a sorcerer with and attacked me with powerful magic"
"A sorcerer? there hasn't been a sorcerer in years since the last guardians were around Phobos said with a contemplative look
"Not a guardian, it felt like the magic of a Sorcerer Supreme." Cedric said
"... So that hag has finally aged enough to need a student. This can work in our favor" Phobos said as he rubbed his chin
"Until the ancient one finishes his training he will be vulnerable and if she is getting weak Earth will be ripe for the taking" Cedric said hissing
"Don't be reckless with this boy Cedric depending on what he is capable of he may be able to defeat even you in a full fight" Phobos said with a glare
"Of course master, I will keep an eye out for the rebel leader, he can't hide on earth forever." Cedric said
"Indeed is there anything else?" Phobos asked
"….It would seem there are new guardians of the veil as well" Cedric hissed as he remembered the red headed girl using the heart of Kandrakar to close the portal on him
"There are? So the heart has been passed on, if those guardians gain access to the ancient ones knowledge they could grow into threats overnight!" Phobos said
"Isn't the ancient one not one to rush?" Cedric asked as he had herd rumors of the ancient one when he was young
"Hmm… true, but… teenagers are wild" Phobos said with a scowl
"Do not fret my lord if they come I shall be ready." Cedric said as he left with a bow
Phobos nodded at this as he was left to his thoughts "new guardians and a in progress sorcerer supreme' he mused as he glared in anger

We see Cedric finding out first hand how Kushina can be in the kitchen as since he has zero experience cooking he was pretty much in charge of getting the ingredients
"Get this, get that, I only have two arms." Caleb muttered
"I heard that brat!" Kushina yelled out as the teen ran to her with the ingredients
"I know you hear all" Caleb said as he put the ingredients down
"Easy, you'll bruise them" Kushina said as she looked over the box of food
"Does her majesty require anything else?" Caleb said with a scowl
"Oh you got jokes huh?!" Kushina yelled as she grabbed a broom
"Hey Caleb I need you for something!" Hay Lin yelled as she came into the kitchen
"That's not fair pig tails I was gonna hurt him." Kushina said with a light glare
"That's why I am saving him from your wrath miss Kushina" Hay Lin said with a smile as she dragged Caleb downstairs
Caleb let out a breath " That woman makes me almost wish for Phobos." he muttered as he shuddered

"Making you some clothes so you can blend in here on earth now hold still" Hay Lin said as she pulled out some wool and other supplies to make clothes
"... What is that smell?" Caleb asked as he sniffed the air
"You're in a basement it's supposed to be stuffy now hush" Hay Lin said as she focused on her work
"Well you might want to do inventory some time, ow!" Caleb said as he got pricked "What's that for?!" he yelled
"I said hold still" Hay Lin said with a roll of her eyes

Naruto walked into the sanctorum where he saw Tilda looking a cauldron where there was a image of meridian being shown inside it
"Hmmm I sense one not from this world has been in contact with you." Tilda said before she turned to him"
"Yea someone from Meridian cane through the veil and is staying with Yan Lin says he's the rebel leader" Naruto said
Tilda nodded at this "He will be important so you will have to keep him safe my student" Tilda said
"Kinda hard to do that when he wants a portal home and I can't find one" Naruto said with a sigh
"What you need is a way to feel the energy the portals make, or find a passling they can smell the portals" Tilda said with a wise tone to her student
"How do I find one?" Naruto asked curiously
"Use your nose they pride themselves on their stink" Tilda said with a slight shudder at the memory of the smell
"Would I find one on Earth?" Naruto asked curiously
"Indeed one is here looking for Caleb to deliver a message" Tilda said as she touched the water in the cauldron behind her and made a image appear of what looked like a goblin in old clothes was shown
"Is that thing digging through garbage?" Naruto asked flatly as he looked at the image
"They enjoy finding anything they can sell off for money so be sure to keep your eyes on your valuables"
"And keep him out of the sanctorum" Naruto said with a sigh
"Yes there's a horde of items even Phobos would find enjoyable to add to his collection." Tilda said with a nod of agreement
Naruto continued to watch the passing and noticed something "Hey he's in the alleyway of the Silver dragon" he said recognizing where he was
"Then that is where you must go." Tilda said with a nod
Naruto nodded at this and made a portal with his sling ring which he left through

"Mmmmm you lead way then I lead to portal" Blunk said wanting to trade

Caleb was alone in the basement dressed in what looked like a skater look complete with baggy pants and a hat courtesy of Hay Lin
"Pfft." Naruto said as he closed the portal behind him
"Please tell me you're here to help me" Caleb said with a sigh of annoyance as he had to wear this outfit all day
"Hay Lin got to you huh?" Naruto asked with a chuckle
"I don't know who's worse, her or your mother." Caleb said with a shake of his head
"Anyways, this passling has a message for you." Naruto said pointing to Blunk
"Blunk, what's the message?" Caleb asked recognising the passing
"Vathek lost key to prisoner cells and Rathor accuse of traitor" Blunk said
Caleb's gained a panicked look at this "That's impossible I left the key in the agreed hiding place." he said in a panic
"Who is this Vathek?" Naruto asked with a raised eyebrow
"He's a mole in the castle he supplies us with information and if he's found out then we will be at a major disadvantage, and he has lost the key, so either someone took it or he really couldn't find it" Caleb said as he then paused and glared at Blunk
Naruto saw Blunk chuckle nervously at this and sighed before the cloak flew over to him and grabbed him by his feet and started to shake him
"Ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah!" blunk yelled in a panic as he was shaken while upside down
The two watched as items fell off of Blunk ranging from tea bags to dirty tissues even a slice of half eaten pizza and a big steel key
"damn passing" Caleb said with a scowl as he took the key
"Hey! no free samples must trade!" Blunk yelled as he hung upside down
"Be glad I'm not trading it for your life." Caleb said with a glare before he went behind a hanging curtain to change into his Meridian Clothes
"We need him Caleb if we're gonna find a portal to help your friend" Naruto said as the cloak dropped Blunk and flew back to his back
"You're gonna help?" Caleb asked curiously as a in training sorcerer would be useful
"It's my job to help plus it's to help a friend of yours so let's do this" Naruto said with a smile
Caleb nodded in gratitude at this before he came from behind his curtain fully dressed and looked at Blunk "Take me to a portal, now." he said firmly leaving no room for argument

Blunk led them down the street and soon stopped at a Sewer grate

"Thanks Blunk" Naruto said with a nod as he and Caleb jumped down into the sewer and through the portal
Blunk watched before he ran off back to the dumpster behind the Silver dragon

Naruto and Caleb looked down at the village from on top of a cliff
"Wow that painting my teacher had of this place wasn't a exaggeration" Naruto said as he floated down to the village while carrying Caleb
"Welcome to Meridian" Caleb said with a shrug as Naruto placed him down on the ground
"So what's the plan, rebel leader?" Naruto asked as they walked into the village
"I have a contact who keeps track of what's going on while I'm in hiding follow me" Caleb said as he led Naruto towards a building nearby
as Naruto walked he looked around at the village and saw that the people here weren't living in the best conditions
"How can you people live like this?" Naruto asked Caleb as they waited down the street
"Phobos took over, we have no choice but to give him our food, everything, Phobos won't stop until there's nothing left to take from Meridian." Caleb said with a heated glare
Naruto scowled at this as he watched some kids nearby looking at a supply cart be escorted past them towards teh castle with frowns and hunger in their eyes
He looked around and waved his hand floated two bags of fruit from the cart to the kids with a simple levitation spell winking at them as they walked by before the kids smiled happily and ran off
"You use your magic for others, why?" Caleb asked curiously as from what he saw most people with magic were greedy or used it selfishly
"Laughter, happiness smiles, that's what I live for, what I fight for. To protect the smiles of the future that's what I use my magic for." Naruto said with a hard look
"... I can already tell with you on our side Phobos is gonna be in trouble" Caleb said with a grin as he and Naruto stopped near a big doorway
"Caleb." a voice said to them
The two jumped as a man in a brown robe approached them
"Ah! don't do that!" Naruto whispered at the hooded man who pulled down his hood to show he was a teen with slightly green skin
"Who's your friend with the cloak? The teen asked Caleb
"sorry Aldern he's from earth" Caleb a said with a chuckle
"You brought someone from earth?" Aldarn whispered in surprise
"He's a strong ally don't worry" Caleb said with a smile his friend at ease
"What can he do?" Aldarn asked with a raised eyebrow
Naruto made a seal shield with his hand and they watched as it got wet from the rain before he blew bubbles that turned the water into butterflies before them
"He's Earth's in training sorcerer Supreme." Caleb said with a smile
Aldarn's eyes went wide at this before he bowed his head at Naruto
"Hey no need for that" Naruto said as he was surprised at this reaction
"But your being trained as the next sorcerer supreme I must-" Aldarn was saying before he eas cut off

"We have to get this key to Vathek." Caleb said holding up the key in question
"Ah I herd that the guards were looking everywhere in the castle for that key" Aldarn said with a frown
"We need a way into the castle" Caleb said as he looked at Naruto
"hmmm I may have a spell but I will need to look at the castle first" Naruto said
"... Really?" Caleb asked sounding disappointed
"I have to absolutely know where I'm opening a portal otherwise I can put us inside a wall or something." Naruto said trying to explain how his magic worked
aldarn nodded at this "Follow me we have a place we use to scout out the castle" he said as he led them down the road
"Good If I can get a look around the castle maybe I can- oof!" Naruto said as someone bumped into him and made him and the person fall to the floor
when Naruto looked up at who was known top of him he saw it was Cornelia in her Guardian form and wearing a cloak
"What are you doing here?" Naruto asked in surprise
"Was gonna ask you the same thing."Will said getting there attention showing the other guardians were here too
"I'm helping Caleb now get off your heavy" Naruto said with a groan at Cornelia
This made Cornelia blush with embarrassment before she brought her fist down on his head
But it was caught by the cloak surprising her and they others
"yea he's protective of me now get off please" Naruto said with a groan as Cornelia was still on him
"You called me Fat!" Cornelia said furiously as she got up and got loose of the cloaks grip
"Huh? no I didn't I said you were heavy there's a difference" Naruto said as he got up and dusted himself off
"Not to girls you moron" Cornelia grumbled to herself still annoyed
"More Earthlings?" Aldarn asked looking at the guardians curiously
"Aldarn meet the new guardians of the Veil" Caleb said dismissively as he waved his hand

"Your pal Blunk came and got us." Taranee said with a shudder at the memory of blunks smell
"That little Nark" Naruto grumbled to himself annoyed that the passling sold them out
"I knew from what Caleb said Meridian was bad… but to be this bad?" Hay Lin said with a frown as she looked around
"I know, we have to fix this" Naruto said with a nod
"We we are here to help so what's the plan" Will asked Caleb
"We're going to spy on the castle so I can know how to make a portal inside the thing" Naruto said as aldarn led the way
"You need to know where you're going to make a portal?" Taranee asked curiously as she was curious about Naruto's magic
"Unless you'd rather be in some monsters stomach or inside a wall" Naruto said
"Ew" Cornelia said with a shudder at the very idea
aldarn led them to a hilltop nearby where Caleb took out a telescope and passed it to Naruto who used it to look at the castle
"Find a good entry point yet?" Will asked curiously
"I think so its in a corridor right beside the bridge so move quickly" Naruto said as he passed the telescope to Caleb and prepared to make a portal
"This is so cool!" Hay Lin said with a smile at Naruto as he made a portal which everyone but Aldern quickly went through

Caleb led them through a hallway after Naruto closed the portal behind them
"Does anyone else's kidneys feel like they switched places?" Taranee asked as they got through the portal

"Then let's frame him for hiding the key" Will said thinking this would work on two levels

they soon arrived in the dungeons and as they looked around a corner they saw a man in armor talking to a blue man in a cell

"a hour left before the prince calls off the search traitor" The man in armor said with a smug look
"Man, that just sucks for time, doesn't it?" Naruto asked as he leaned on the man's shoulder before poofing as the man swung at him"
"What the?" Raythor yelled as the illusion of Naruto disappeared
Naruto then opened a small portal behind him and his hand reached through it and aimed his palm at the back of Raythors head before he blasted him in the back of his head with a spell
Raythor got sent flying before meeting a clothesline from Naruto as he dropped to the ground
"Nice." Irma said with a smirk at the knocked out knight
"I'm also got knowledge of martial arts as well as some boxing." Naruto said "
"You ok Vathek?" Caleb asked the blue man
"I've been better Caleb." Vathek said as he rubbed his wrists
"Alright I put the key on Raythor…. Now scream." Naruto told Vathek"
"W-what?" Vathek asked in surprise
"They need to think you're still on their side so scream out for them" Naruto said
Vathek nodded at this "intruders! Guards, help!" he yelled out loudly
thus caused some rumbling to be herd before Cedric and some guards to come running

"I'm 16 you slithering freak" Naruto said with a growl as he made a portal with a wave of gas hand
"let's go, Raythor has failed us so let's get out of here!" Will yelled as she and the other guardians took off their cloaks and took off flying
"Ciao!" Naruto said as he jumped through a portal with Caleb
Cedric growled as he grabbed Raythor who woke up and looked down as the key dropped

"Then why did he sound the alarm?" Cedric said with a growl before he threw him into a empty cell before locking it up
Cedric then turned to Vathek and used the key to unlock his cell "You are cleared of your crimes, back to your post" he growled
Vathek nodded at this as he left

the group of teens were sitting around a table laughing as Yan Lin brought them some food
"Oh man I can't believe how easy it was to trick them" Irma said with a smile as she ate a egg roll
"I can't believe how versatile your magic is" Taranee said with a smile at Naruto
"Speaking of which, I have a certain trick to pull." Naruto said with a smirk as he grabbed a napkin
The girls and Caleb watched as he folded the napkin until it resembled a frog, he then closed his hands around it, blew into his hand, and when he opened his hands a real frog was in them "For you Will, Elyon told me you like frogs" he said handing the frog to her
"Ah cool, thanks…. He's not gonna breathe fire or something is he?" Will asked nervously
"No, he's just a regular frog." Naruto said with a chuckle
"How long does it last?" Hay Lin asked curiously
"A hour at most but I like to make people smile" Naruto said with a shrug as he had been doing this for a while
"So do your parents know how your magic is more real then they think?" Cornelia asked curiously

"Well yea your mom would go nutter butters if she found out her little Naru was using magic and fighting evil" Irma said with a teasing grin

Minato, Kushina, Elyon, Yan-Lin, Caleb, Blunk, Matt, and Alchemy. He passes by a Phobos and Cedric giving him a hard glare as the float by but pays them no mind as he sores in the sky.
