It had been a week since my summons as I was busy taking care of the younger twins, who had a bath earlier. Both Zia and Zoran were cleaned with fresh diapers on their bottoms as I put on their summer onesies in which I was most likely to be all over the castles that were connected on the four planets they were on. Even though the castle near Kanto Village housed most of the Medical Corps in it, I didn't mind their presence since Reuben took charge as I was also grateful that he put his foot down at last. When I returned to my current castle location on Westeros, I saw Reiko with the older twins as she was busy cleaning them after they had their breakfast. With me saddled with the younger twins while they were in their stroller, I couldn't get enough of being with my family as I also had a lot to do so far. Just as we were about to spend more time with our children, we noticed Cynthia rushing in as she was about to let us have an earful in which she wanted us to focus on an important date in mind.
"Is something wrong?" I asked.
"Has it ever occurred to you that two should spend some alone time after a week of taking care of things?" said Cynthia as she was concerned about what was happening. "From what I heard earlier, both of you neglected to focus on the one important day in your lives due to this ongoing war."
"But we can't be away from the children right now," said Reiko.
"Doesn't matter. How long have you and Sam been married?"
"It's been four years, but we never had any time to spend with each other due to our busy schedules."
"Today happens to be your wedding anniversary! You should spend a day together, just the two of you."
"But, Mother-"
"You heard me. It's high time that you and the master of this set of castles have the day off. At least try and enjoy it, will you?"
Reiko agreed with Cynthia as I also did the same. After all the messes that occurred all over the galaxy, we had to take a break as we gathered up our children and later left the kitchen for the nursery. Both sets of twins were fed and cleaned up as they were most likely to be taking a nap before lunch, but one of them, Ghimru, ran out of the nursery and into the bathroom. When I caught up to him, I saw him walk to the squat toilet with the steps as he pulled down his shorts and began to tinkle in it. By the time I saw him finish and pull his shorts up, I flushed the squat toilet as I picked him up and took him back to the nursery. Still, I hated to leave like this as I wanted to spend more time with the children that Reiko and I had crafted, but a day for us was waiting on the horizon.
By the time I placed Ghimru in the playpen with Aora, I saw Reiko gather up Zia and Zoran as they were ready for their naptime. A good day's nap was great for the little ones as it also gave us a breather in which we had to abide to what Cynthia told us earlier, for we needed some time off only for today…
Later on in the mid morning, I was taking my shower as I was most likely to be going on a private date with Reiko, who had a bath earlier. I was most likely to be going for a walk in Tenzo Village as I rinsed off the moment I turned off the water. Thankfully, there was no one there to walk in and flush the toilet while I took my shower as I stepped out of it and dried myself with a towel. Putting the towel and my dirty clothes into the hamper, I put on some fresh ones as I was busy brushing the long silver hair that I had on my head. I had gotten used to it as I also wadded the bottom of it in a bun so it wouldn't touch the ground. By the time I stepped out of the bathroom, I saw Reiko dressed in elegant Westerian clothing as the navy dress with puffed sleeves near the arms added a little pop to her appearance with the long silver hair that she had. Both of us were ready to spend the rest of the day together as we were ready to celebrate four years of marriage. The sight of Reiko wanted me to take her on the spot, but not right now, for we were ready to go on a walk all over Tenzo Village. With a picnic basket of food with us, we were ready for our little trip as it was mainly for the two of us for this day.
"It's been a year since we came here," I heard her say to me.
"I know," I said. "It's also been four years since we were wed by your late grandfather, may the gods rest his soul."
"He made this possible for us, Sammy. I hope that he doesn't scold us for being too busy."
"Ippei… You helped us so far, but we have this covered…"
I briefly looked at Reiko as we walked towards the main hall of the castle where the front doors were. When we were about to go towards the bridge with the moat, we noticed an unusual energy surrounding us as we ended up from our castle to an unknown area that was never seen before until now. Reiko was shocked to see our surroundings as she noticed them to be nothing more than a barren wasteland. I also noticed what was going on as the dry air was starting to make me sneeze once again. I was no match for the dry air as my sneezing was starting to get out of control in which I got out a pouch of tissues and began to take one out and blow my nose. Reiko never expected me to sneeze before as she noticed a few drops of rain starting to fall.
"Oh, dear…" she said. "This has never happened before…"
"It happens if I either relieve myself or sneeze," I said.
"Is there anywhere we can stay at with all this rain?"
"There is…" I spot a cave as I was ready to flee from the rain. "Let's make a break for it."
Reiko followed me to the cave as we were safe in such a dry place the moment we saw the rain falling down in bunches. This was a downpour that was similar to my previous visits as I saw the rain beginning to fill up the lower patches that were reserved for lakes, rivers, and oceans. This was yet another chain reaction on my part as I felt the cold from outside chill at my bones in which I walked towards the cave further. To my surprise, I saw a hole from above as I saw the rain pouring to where the vast deep was starting to fill up with only a protruding rock that was smooth and untouched. With the water rising further, I noticed it stopping as it reached no further than the rock that protruded from below. Even Reiko noticed the water as she set down the picnic basket in her hands and walked towards me, for we were stuck here in this unknown terrain that had rain pouring down like wildfire.
"This is new to us," she said as she was digging into the picnic basket for some food that was packed into it. "This is like the ones before in which the rain vitalized where you reached."
"From the looks of it, this cave has a pool in which the rock protruding in the middle could be a setting for a possible shrine," I said.
"At least we have some food packed for today while Mother…" Reiko digs into the picnic basket further as she finds a box of condoms with it. "Oh, dear… She must've put them in there just in case we were to have a more private moment on this day."
"Cynthia definitely jumped the gun there." I walked towards the full pool until I tripped on my own hair and fell into the water. "Damn it!" I was wet as I was also feeling soaked from my folly. "The water in this cave is deep, but cold. As soon as we find some withered bark or twigs, we'll start a campfire so we won't freeze."
"Sammy, wait!" Reiko sees the sky from above turning into night as she was starting to feel overwhelmed with a lingering urge. "We should take each other before we return home first."
"Reiko, this is not the time to be doing this right now."
"Please, bear with me on this." Reiko gets out an empty container as she placed the box of condoms in it. "Go towards that rock. I'll be with you shortly."
I swam to the rock in the center of the pool as I was soaked the moment I wrung out my clothes and the long silver hair that I had. When I saw the box of condoms in the container dish sailing towards me, I caught it as I had a gut feeling that I would be overwhelmed by the urge to take Reiko before this day was over. I wanted her to myself for this day as the feeling in my loins became insatiable the moment I saw her swim towards me. Like me, she was also wet and soaked when she climbed to the rock that I was sitting on as I caught her before she went back into the water. She was dripping wet as I saw her wringing the water out of the dress she wore in which she was also cold after she swam towards me, for we were overwhelmed by the lingering urge that took hold of us on this night.
"We're both soaked to the bone," I said.
"This rock is the size of a stone altar in those shrine," said Reiko.
"As for the hole in the ceiling in this cave, the air outside is cold like the water. As soon as we do what we must, we swim back to shore in which we'll be—"
At that moment, I saw Reiko kiss my lips as she wanted me to take her on this night of our anniversary. Even through the wetness of our clothes, we had a burning desire for one another as we took off our clothes and began to lay down on the smooth rock beneath the middle of the pool. I was on top of Reiko as I was touching at her soft breasts. I had her all to myself as I was also most likely to take her on this night. I began to touch at the soft flesh between her legs as I felt a much bigger urge to take the plunge. Staring at the box of condoms, I opened it up and took one out as I felt my member hardening up the moment I unwrapped it and slipped it on. With Reiko's legs spread open, I plunged deep inside of her as I heard her moaning with pleasure.
The moment of this reminded us of our wedding night as I once took my wife's virginity to seal the deal on our marriage. I was feeling more in tune with the sensual pleasure that made me more whole to the woman I love dearly as I plunged deeper the moment she held onto me. I felt her legs wrapping around me as she wanted more of my touch. Her body felt in synch with mine as we made our own warmth on the cold rock. I continued to thrust as I felt Reiko's arms holding onto me tightly to the point of our climax. I was heavily sated with her as I continued to give her more pleasure than what I normally did until we reached our limit the moment a surge of raw power shot up into the sky. I was satisfied with the pleasure as I pulled out of Reiko and removed the spent condom, but there was no wastebasket to put it in the moment I found the wrapper to it. Setting it down, I saw it change into a seedling as it began to germinate on the rock without warning. We never saw anything like it before as the seedling became a young tree that was a shimmering silver. It was strange to see it like that before as our energy created the tree that would be a symbol of what we did here.
"This tree," said Reiko as she saw it sprout silver leaves on it. "It came from the energy that we had."
"Sadly, there's no wastebasket to put the used condom in, but it changed into a seedling without warning," I said as I gathered up our clothes. "As soon as we get to shore with our clothing and protective gear, we'll be on our way back to our home to check up on everyone."
And so, we swam to shore with our things as we returned near the entrance of the cave. The cold air from outside chilled us to the bone as I noticed some withered twigs that were on the ground. Picking up the twigs, I placed them on the ground near us as I found some rocks and made a circle out of them. With two rocks out of the circle, I picked them up as I began to click them rapidly over the twigs in which I saw a spark ignite them and turned them into a campfire. I noticed Reiko warm her hands above the campfire as she was shivering from the cold just as much as I was. Unfortunately, we had no blankets to warm ourselves with until I had an idea that formed. I could use my hair for warmth! It was a start, but my idea worked as I used my long silver hair to cover both myself and Reiko up for warmth until our clothes got dry. The hair I had changed into a cocoon to keep me and Reiko warm as we were also happy to discover this strange place that was once a barren wasteland.
"Your body is so warm," I heard Reiko say as she snuggled towards me.
"I've got a lot of surprises with this long silver hair of mine," I said as I held Reiko in my arms.
"Yashamaru was right about your long hair being more than just a tripping hazard. It can change into anything, including a cocoon to keep us warm in the cold. Oh, Sammy…, I'm so lucky to have you with me…"
"I know… It's strange that this long hair of mine was such a pain, but I can do a lot more with it than just keep the bottom part in a wad. I can make weapons with it just to defend myself and those around me."
"Don't forget Castiel. You used your hair infused with your raw power to the prosthetics that were put on him after that cruel soldier from the Executive Division cut them off. You performed miracles that helped us, but you are the best miracle of all."
"Oh, Reiko…"
I held her close as she was feeling the warmth that I had. She was more beautiful to me than anyone as I felt the urge to make love to her once more. The cocoon that I crafted from my hair was warm as we were most likely to be in a mating mode. It was at that moment that I kissed Reiko's lips as I began to feel at her soft breasts of hers. She was mine for a lot of reasons as I wanted her for the rest of the night. I was overwhelmed by the urge to mate once more as I was on top of Reiko in the cocoon, which was like an oversized sleeping bag. With my member hardened, I spread Reiko's legs open again and went in without protection. Clasping my hands with hers, I was plunging deep inside of her as she moaned with pleasure. The very heat of her body clashed with mine as I was giving her all the desire that she wanted. I was all over as I continued to kiss Reiko all over in which we were on the verge of our climax. By the time we were tiring out, I felt my livelihood gushing out as I was fully sated with my wife, who welcomed such a powerful seed. When I pulled out of her, I continued to snuggle with her as she was laying next to my chest, for she was also tired like me.
"It's the first time that we made love in a cocoon," I said.
"Your pillar was hot when I welcomed it in," said Reiko.
"And we ended up doing it without using protection…"
"Sammy…" Reiko presses a finger to my lips. "We may or may not use protection, but we can't be without our urges for one another. We've got a long way to go, for our love is eternal."
And Reiko meant it as we both fell asleep in our arms. As for our private moment together, it was almost done as we would soon return home to our family in the four castles, for we had duties to the ones who need us the most…
A delivery freighter was returning into space as it was on its way home towards Valinor as planned. Inside of it, there was a Quenya Elf with brown skin and black hair as she was busy piloting it in which she was ready to call it a day. Just as she was about to return home, the delivery freighter she was piloting ended up getting sucked into a wormhole as she found the coordinates to be out of range from her designated location. She never experienced anything like this before as she grabbed her radio and called her company, but to no avail.
"Breaker, breaker 10-4, this is the Uzumaki. Please respond," she said desperately as she heard nothing but static. "Damn it! This is not my day!"
"Trixie, what's going on?" said a High Elf as he was holding a small baby in his arms.
"I have no idea, Takuya, but we're not cruising around in Kansas anymore."
"Momma, what's goin' on?" asked a Half-Elf boy as he rushed into the bridge.
"Hold tight, Errol. Momma's gonna find out where we are first."
"Trixie, take a look at this!," said Takuya as he saw a blast of power coming from the nearest planet in this unknown part. "From the looks of it, we're in the central part of the Ashizoka System."
"Are you serious?" Trixie sees the coordinates on screen as she sees the name of the planet flash in bold bright letters. "Meereen? So, that's the name of the planet, huh? As for that blast, it's a beacon for us to land in."
It wasn't long until the Uzumaki began to experience turbulence due to the stray stars and meteorites that were strewn all over space. Trixie took to the controls as she took the delivery freighter towards the location where the blast of light was. With the ship taking a hit it was starting to take a tumble as Trixie was struggling to hold on the moment she instructed the others to get buckled, for there would be a crash on the planet below if not taken care of properly.
"Brace for impact!" she yelled as she saw Takuya the others buckle up their seatbelts.
"Aunt Trixie!" yelled a High Elf boy with dark skin as he rushed into the bridge.
"Manabu, get buckled with your daddy."
"Mommy, what's going on?" yelled a Half-Elf girl as she rushed onto the bridge.
"Hold tight, Lila. Momma's gonna land this thing!"
The two children, Manabu and Lila, sat down in their seats as they buckled up like the others. The Uzumaki was about to crash as it was following the flash of light in order to prepare for landing somewhere, for they were about to make it safely by a much divine force indeed…
I woke up in the middle of the night as I undid my cocoon without waking up Reiko. The fire that I made was much brighter as I noticed a large piece of withered wood in place of the spent twigs that I found earlier. To my shock, I found some dry clothes as I noticed them for both me and Reiko the moment I put mine on. It wasn't long until Reiko woke up as she saw the clean clothes for her the moment she put them on in which we weren't alone here. I had a gut feeling that someone was there watching us as I heard footsteps approaching in which I noticed a familiar glowing arm that was infused with the raw power that I contributed to. It was Castiel as he was there in which he was put here like me and Reiko due to the detour we took, for he was most likely to be on guard duty the moment we were ready to go home.
"It seems that you and Lady Reiko powered up Meereen," he said.
"Meereen?" I asked as I finally knew the planet's name. "From what I know was that this place was once a barren wasteland, but the dry air caused me to sneeze."
"This is another planet in the central part of the Ashizoka System in which your raw power gave it life the moment your presence brought the rain."
"This cave has a pool, but it also has a silver tree here," said Reiko.
"The place itself is made to become a shrine due to the opening above the cave. Sadly, there's no trashcans to put things in…"
"And we've got a visitor," I said as I saw something arrive from the sky.
I rushed out of the cave as I saw the Uzumaki starting to fall further with the front catching the heat of the atmosphere. I had a feeling that the freighter wouldn't make it as I used my raw power to guide it safely. I saw the Uzumaki being guided to safety as it landed near a lake that was created by the rain earlier. I rushed to the freighter as I saw the crew of the Uzumaki step out of it in which they were ready to assess the damage of the ship directly. The pilot of the freighter, Trixie, was basically a Quenya Elf as she was dressed in unusual clothes that were similar to a trucker's. As for the rest of the crew, I noticed the High Elf holding his baby as the other children stepped out to stretch their legs. It wasn't long until Reiko ran out of the cave to recognize the High Elf in which he was related to the Mitani Clan, for he was also vigilant into protecting the baby he held in his arms.
"Takuya?" she said as she recognized him with the cyan hair and blue eyes while wearing a blue kimono. "What are you doing here? Does Uncle Shichiji know that you're not there to tend to the cattle ranch on Essos?"
"He knows, but I'm in the same boat since Della passed away," he said.
"Who's Della?" I asked.
"She was my sister-in-law," said Trixie. "She died at the hands of a demon in which my own husband was killed after saving us from death." I notice her clenching her hands as she felt defeated after enduring such a loss. "If you wanna know my story, then know further, My Lord. My name is Trixie Harbaugh. My late husband, Wendell, sacrificed himself to get us out of our home in which we make deliveries in the Uzumaki. Their deaths left Takuya devastated in which he is left being a widower while caring for little Akiko, who is three months old the moment Della was killed and pinned to the ceiling by a demon."
"It's true…," he said as he held Akiko in his arms.
WAAAHHHH!
Takuya saw Akiko crying in his arms as he was doing his best to comfort her. Still, he had to ration what was in the Uzumaki as he remembered the last delivery visit due to a baby formula shortage. Reiko noticed that the small baby was hungry as she snatched Akiko from Takuya's arms and exposed her breast in order to feed her. When she saw the baby latch onto her nipple, she noticed the baby sucking contently as she made sure that the little got a bit to eat after enduring such a strange trip here to this planet. I was grateful that the little one was getting the milk she needed as I saw Reiko finish up the moment she covered up and later burped the baby. By the time she returned the little one to Takuya, he held her in his arms as she was fast asleep, but she also wanted to make sure that the rest of the Uzumaki's crew were alright, for they were in for a real shock about their surroundings.
"You know how to handle children," said Takuya.
"I've had experience when I gave birth to the children Sammy and I created," said Reiko.
"You lost someone dear to you," I said.
"Della…," said Takuya. "She was taken away from me and after that, her brother saved me, Trixie, and our children from our burning home on Valinor, but his sacrifice won't be in vain. It left us widowed, but not without purpose. Manabu turned four and he refuses to leave me in order to protect his little sister."
I saw Manabu walking towards Takuya as he was adamant into protecting him and little Aiko. Still, I had to make sure that the crew of the Uzumaki were safely there as I also had a bad feeling that there wasn't enough food until I spotted an orange tree that was planted in the grassy ground. The raw power that made the rain crafted the tree perfectly as I went towards it and picked a few oranges for the crew who endured the crash of their lives. To my surprise, I saw Trixie's children approaching as they were hungry after landing here on Meereen, for they wanted to know who I was as well.
"The Mahoney Clan talked about you," said Errol as he saw the oranges in my hands. "Is it true that you make a hospitable planet like wildfire?"
"More or less, these planets in the central part of the Ashizoka System started off dry and barren, but when I arrived on them, I have my raw power to generate them from a wasteland to a land of plenty."
"I want an orange," said Lila as she ran towards me. "I love oranges, mister."
"Okay…," I gave the two Half-Elf children an orange a piece as they began to peel at them. "You have a thing for them, which is better than eating candy."
"Our momma doesn't like us eating candy," said Errol. "She raised us on the food that's been grown on our land with our daddy and Aunt Della." I see him with his fists clenched as he was remembering the tragedy that took the lives of his father and aunt. "That demon who stalked Aunt Della was there in which she refused his advantages. On that night when Uncle Taku came home to for the night, he saw Aunt Della pinned to the ceiling and after that, our home caught fire. Daddy, may the Grey Havens keep him safe, got us out, but he died in that fire. When I saw the demon near our home, he looked like one of those army men in which Momma wanted to get him, but he fled before the townsfolk in our town arrived to put out the fire."
I had a gut feeling that the demon that Errol described would cause more harm as I feared the worst in the future. I felt great sadness for the boy and his family as they had suffered losses. It wasn't long until I saw Errol crying as he was holding both his orange and a wallet with a belt chain in his hands. I had to comfort the boy as I placed my hand on his shoulder. I couldn't let him alone as he had too much to bear right now.
"You have every right to grieve for the loss of your loved ones," I said to him. "They didn't deserve to die at the hands of that demon, but your mother and uncle are still here. Don't let them down, okay? They would want you to be brave for them in which you have to be strong for them. Your loved ones are up there in the Grey Havens, but they will give you guidance from beyond. You just have to put faith in what is put in front of you."
Errol was happy to hear my words of encouragement as he saw his family sitting near the Uzumaki. When I returned to Reiko, she was consoling the rest of the crew as they were safe for the time being. Even though we wanted to spend our day alone, fate always intervened as there are those who would need our help and guidance. When we saw the sun rising, we watched it in the distance as we were also happy to spend our day together despite the hiccups, for this was a day for us to hope for…
Cynthia was worried about us as she looked all over the place for us. Even though we've been gone since yesterday, that didn't stop my no-nonsense stepmother from searching for me until she noticed a portal near the garden. She never saw anything like it before as she was ready to see what was on the other side of it. By the time she was about to go through it, she heard footsteps approaching as she turned around and saw Shion standing behind her, for she was concerned about the awakening of another planet in the Ashizoka System.
"This has never happened before until now," she said as she saw the portal glowing.
"This occurred before Sam and Reiko disappeared yesterday," said Cynthia.
"I know where they are and they're on Meereen. I dispatched Castiel to find them in which I hope that he reaches them."
"I've seen signs that the central part of the Ashizoka System is slowing being awakened to a golden age. From what I've heard, five of them have been awakened so far: Bhunivelze, Benezia, Erebor, Crixus, and Gannicus. As for the newest one, Meereen, that adds to six, but we have much bigger problems brewing."
"It's the Executive Division encroaching here. The Order and the Westerian Army have been at partial odds due to the poor management of the soldiers who serve this planet's military. One general, in particular, refuses to treat her soldiers who have returned scarred both physically and mentally like that girl who tried to kill herself at Bert and Ernie's a week ago."
"The general's name is Nicole Tetrax and Reuben views her as a thorn in the side of both the Order and the Westerian royal family, who refuses to stand aside."
"Empress Zaralia and her royal battalion have cooperated with the Medical Corps to help rehabilitate the ones who suffered on the battlefield. From what I know is that the Westerian Army is rife with corruption, but the citizens here on this planet put their trust in the military over the royal family who rule it."
"And they're not doing what I tell them!"
Cynthia and Shion saw Zaralia run into the garden as she was tired from her long run. The girl was exhausted from her constant running around as she wanted to know where we were until she saw the portal that stood firm. The pendant around her neck began to glow as she was aware of the presence of my raw power that powered the world on the other side. The once barren wasteland was now full of life as she never expected it to be vibrant before, for she never saw the new planet before until today.
"It's beautiful," she said.
"Looks like Sam and Reiko have visitors," said Shion as she saw the Uzumaki near the lake through the portal. "Trixie really made a detour there."
"I've heard stories about the central part of the Ashizoka System being dry and barren, but I never expected them to be full of life before."
"According to what I noticed was that a surge or raw power became a beacon for Trixie and her family to land after going through that wormhole. Sam must've did this or else the Uzumaki would've been space debris by now."
Zaralia went towards the portal as she entered directly into Meereen in which she saw me and Reiko observing the lake where the Uzumaki landed nearby. She never saw anything like it before as it was very new to her the moment she noticed us sitting next to the lake while we admired the greatness that was there. It was another planet that was discovered, for it was part of the Ashizoka System after all.
"You're far away from your planet, aren't you, Your Majesty?" I said.
"This place is beautiful," said Zaralia. "I never saw anything like it before until now."
"You're far from home, aren't you?" said Reiko.
"I wanted to talk to you about my planet's army not being cooperative with the Order. General Tetrax won't let my royal guards or physicians near my planet's troops who are injured."
"It's unfair to you and your people. The general in charge should take care of your planet's troops, not leave them shattered."
"General Tetrax runs the military, but she equates getting proper care to weakness. As for me, the general views me and my family as thorns in her sides because I want proper care for our military, not throw them out like trash. My father, who was Westeros' Emperor before he passed away, told me not to give up hope for our troops. I just hope that the Medical Corps step in and help me limit General Tetrax's powers. I want to help my people heal after what they went through, but I'm no general."
"You shouldn't give up hope, Your Majesty," I said. "I have faith in you that you will succeed into getting the proper care for your people."
Zaralia was grateful that my words of wisdom soothed her discomfort after coming all this way to find me. Still, I had so much to do as I was also concerned about the safety of Trixie and her family in which they were up making breakfast for everyone near the Uzumaki. With everyone getting their fill, I was returning to the cave as I was looking for the picnic basket that I left in there. When I went to the entrance of it, I saw it changing as the interior became a more like the old Order of Letters bunker from the Elder Days. The rock in the middle of the pool changed into a tower as it even had a bridge to cross over to. By the time I crossed to the tower entrance, I saw the tree with silver leaves change further as it grew bigger than what it once was. I saw the tree to be beautiful as I would marvel on it later the moment I walked inside of the tower. It was a place adorned with many things as I noticed many pictures of old classic rock albums on the wall in which it reminded me of what the old bunker looked like in the Elder Days. Still, I had to do something as I was ready to house Trixie and her family here in the new tower, for they needed a home for now until the Uzumaki is fully repaired.
"This place will be their home for now," I said.
"This tower will also be a place of communication," said Castiel as he entered into it.
"Trixie and her family will be here once the Uzumaki is repaired after what happened."
"The tower itself must have a name."
"I don't know what to name it, but it will be called Singer Tower. It's to honor a certain housecat whose human form died centuries ago. It's best to honor him this way."
I left the tower as I was crossing the bridge and going out of the cave that it was in. After all that has happened, I wanted Trixie and her family to stay here on Meereen for the time being as they had nowhere else to go right now. When I saw Reiko helping out with the children, I was glad that they didn't feel unsafe as Meereen is now their temporary home until the Uzumaki was repaired. Even Zaralia was impressed as she noticed Singer Tower protruding from the roof of the cave and upward towards the sky, for it was a home to whoever was here for a while.
"I never saw a tower coming up in a cave before," she said.
"It's called Singer Tower," I said.
"Singer Tower?"
"It's a place where everyone is safe for the time being."
"But who will live in it?"
"It'll be Trixie and her family," said Reiko. "They need a decent roof over their head instead of their ship right now."
"You're allowing us to live there in a tower that sprouted in a cave?" said Takuya as he was holding Akiko in his arms. "It's all too much, but we can't live in a tower when we have the Uzumaki."
"I hate to break it to you, but there's no way to get off of Meereen," said Trixie. "I checked the engine on the ship in which it's been fried after going through that wormhole. As for our temporary lodgings, we should have a much better roof on our heads instead of being on a clunker like the Uzumaki. We should take up your cousin's offer, Takuya. It's better than being out in the rain."
Takuya decided to agree as he saw Trixie and the others enter into the cave entrance in which they saw the bottom of Singer Tower occupying the rock that was once there. They now had a home as they entered into the tower the moment they saw it to be heavily warded from all forms of evil. It was also a godsend that they took shelter as I watched in the distance. It wasn't long until I decided to return home as I saw the portal that Zaralia came out of in which I noticed Reiko and Castiel already back to the castle. By the time we returned back to the castle on Westeros, I saw Cynthia and Shion waiting for me as they were most likely to be chewing me out for being away for too long. I was in the doghouse as I also had to face the wrath of the wicked stepmother who was worried sick about me and Reiko since yesterday.
"It's about damn time that you came back!" I heard Cynthia yell.
"Sam and Lady Reiko are safe and sound, Cynthia," said Castiel as he was holding the picnic basket that we nearly forgot. "The ones who came there to Meereen are also safe in Singer Tower."
"It's good to hear, but Trixie Harbaugh's no stranger to being stranded in space," said Shion.
"At least she has a roof over her head," said Reiko.
"After what happened to her husband and sister-in-law a month ago, she gathered up her children, along with Takuya Mitani and his own in which they have a delivery service just to make ends meet."
"I've seen Singer Tower," said Zaralia. "It's something that came from that cave, but at least those people have a home so they won't be stuck in that clunker out in the cold."
"Sam! We got a problem!"
I heard Dirk's voice coming from the main house as I rushed inside to see a middle-aged woman dressed in military clothing barge in here unannounced. She was from the Westerian Army as I noticed her grey military uniform with four stars on the right flak. Her demeanor swiftly changed from calm to full of rage and spite as she noticed Zaralia following me. The young Empress knew who she was as she wasn't too thrilled to see her barge into my home like this, for she meant business that was not too pleasant in this hour of discontent.
"Sam Winchester in the flesh," the general said to me as she had an icy stare. "You and your meddling friends in the Order of Letters should keep your noses out of Westerian affairs if you want to survive for another day."
"You must be General Tetrax," I said. "From what I heard, you refuse to allow the wounded soldiers to get medical treatment after facing off against the Executive Division on the battlefield."
"That's just it. Treatment for the wounded equates to a starving dog begging for table scraps. Such talk reeks from the stench of weakness."
"Treatment for the wounded isn't weakness, General," said Zaralia. "My late father wanted proper care for our soldiers, but you put them back in the pit so that they can get chewed up and spat out again."
"I hate to break it to you, Princess Pinocchio, but the Westerian Army is better equipped for dealing with our enemies who came here to this planet, not the Order of Letters or your royal guard! Your Draaza mother and older brothers wanted you to be Empress because this planet rules with a matriarchy. Your father was the only male ruler here on Westeros, but seeing him push for our troops to sit on the sidelines for medical treatment is a borderline weakness that I won't condone! And just to add salt to the wound, the royal family even had the gall to collaborate with the Medical Corps, who literally enjoy sticking their noses into other people's business. Any soldier who accepts medical care while being hoisted from the battlefield is nothing more than a coward, plain and simple!"
It wasn't long as I saw Reiko rushing into the room as she confronted General Tetrax in which she slapped her out of anger for not caring for the wounded soldiers. She heard the general's harsh words about the soldiers from the Westerian Army not having any medical treatment as she didn't want such an intolerable woman like General Tetrax dishonoring those who suffered so much trauma, for equating proper care to cowardice was the last straw indeed.
"How dare you?!" I heard her yell as she saw General Tetrax feel at her face. "How could you equate medical care to weakness?! You should be ashamed of yourself for forcing your own subordinates back on the battlefield after suffering trauma afterwards. And you call yourself a soldier in the military when those who served you get hung out to dry! As for young Empress Zaralia, you should treat her with more respect, for she is your ruler who is concerned about the troops who suffered from the monsters who will stop at nothing to steal my Sammy and force him to use his raw power for their own selfish desires! Your recklessness will be your undoing in which you should abide by the decision of the Empress and the Medical Corps, is that clear to you?!"
General Tetrax stormed out of the castle as Reiko wasn't having it. I never saw my wife angry before as she didn't want our troops or anyone else to be without medical treatment. I didn't blame her as I saw her turn around with her hands shaking. I managed to soothe her as I didn't want her anger get the better of her. As for Zaralia, on the other hand, she was glad to have us around as she had someone other than herself to stand up to General Tetrax, for she was starting to get a little more confident in what can be accomplished, for helping her soldiers get the proper treatment was next in my schedule so far…
