I head to Mystic Falls High School to help with the homecoming. I see Elena walking up to Rebekah. Well, that will end badly. I walk over as well hoping to do damage control if needed.

"You! Goody!" Rebekah fakes enthusiasm.

"I was hoping we could talk," Elena says.

"About what? Stefan? Don't worry, I'm off him until he starts treating me better. In fact, you should probably take a page out of my book, if I'm being honest." Rebekah says with a smile.

"Don't get cocky, Rebekah. It's not lady like," I say pretending to be snooty. Her and I both laugh.

"Actually, I'd rather talk about this," Elena says holding out a picture of Runics.

I can tell its Bekah's name. Nik taught me a little bit on Runic.

"I'm curious why you and Klaus have spent a thousand years running from your father." Elena says.

"I should get back to the girls. Homecoming's right around the corner." Bekah says while turning to leave.

"Well then, maybe I'll ask Mikael when we wake him," Elena taunts.

Rebekah stops dead and slowly turns around. You can see the fright cross her face.

"You're bluffing!" She exclaims "You don't know where he is. No one does,"

"So, then who's rotting in that old cemetery in Charlotte?" Elena asks with a smile.

I want to smack it off her face. She's having fun with putting my kids in danger.

"If you wake Mikael, we are all doomed. Including Thor and Freya," Rebekah says emphasizing my kids names.

"So then, tell me," Elena pushes.

"Why do you want to know?" Bekah asks.

"Because she's looking for a way to kill Nik," I say crossing my arms Elena looks at me with fear.

"Why don't you want me to wake him?" Elena asks once she composes herself.

"I need to get back to the girls," Rebekah says walking back to her squad. She looks shaken though.

"If you do anything that results in my kids getting hurt or killed there is no where you can hide," I threaten,

"Why, will Klaus kill me?" She asks.

"No, because I will. And a mother protecting her children is so much scarier then an angry hybrid. But he will be pretty scary cause he won't just be an angry hybrid. He will also be an angry father." I say in a perfectly calm voice. Then turn away. "Rebekah, I will help you with homecoming later." I can out to her, she nods.

I know the story of Mikael. Nik told me one night after he found out about the kids. He doesn't want Thor or Freya to get hurt in the crossfire. Mikael is the ultimate vampire hunter.

He drinks vampire blood to survive and chases after his kids to kill them. He is most ashamed of Nik, because Easter cheated on him, and it resulted in Nik. He takes it out on Nik even though it's not his fault. Mikael's teachings or I should call it what it is bullying does not belong in our house.

Nik would never treat his kids like that. I have seen him get angry at Thor. He left and then we back and talked to Thor after he had calmed down. Nik makes an amazing father. Maybe his father could learn a thing or two from him.

I really hope they don't bring back Mikael, but I have a feeling they still will. They don't care about the lives lost in the process. Elena only cares about herself.

I pull out my phone and call Nik.

"Hello Love," he greets like he always does.

"Nik they are going to hurt Thor and Freya," I say quickly.

"Start from the beginning, Tyra," he tells me.

"Elena is going to let Mikael know where we are," I say. "You know he will kill Thor and Freya."

"Don't worry Stefan won't let the happen," he says.

"Oh yeah, a deranged psychopath who wants to scare your son. Perfect. I feel to totally safe," I say sarcastically.

"Tyra, I have to finish what I'm doing. I'll make sure nothing happens to you. I will release Finn and Elijah. Expect them in a few days. They will help protect you and the kids. I heard Jeremy joined your little ducklings," he says. I can tell he's smiling for the last part.

"Maybe," I drag out with a smile.

"He will be protected as well. Elena's foolishness will not get you hurt," he says.

"Alright," I say feeling much better,

"I have to go. I will call tonight," he says.

"Bye Nik,"

"Bye Tyra," he says, and we both hang up. I walk up to my house.

"Caroline, Tyler. Is everything alright?" I ask seeing them standing in my doorway. "Come on in you two," I invite them in.

"Yeah, we are okay. I wanted to check in to see what Klaus said." Tyler says.

"I want this sire bond broken, between Klaus and Tyler." Caroline says right after.

I start making tea. They sit in the living room. I bring them both a cup and grab a cup for myself.

"Well, I'm pretty sure Nik hasn't used it since I mentioned it to him. Also, it's less of a sire bond and more of a desire to listen and protect your Alpha and his family." I say.

"He hasn't given me any orders except to not hurt you or the kids," Tyler says.

"See I don't think that's an order that Tyler even desires to go against." I say looking at Caroline.

"What about him possibly telling Klaus all our plans to kill him?" Caroline asks.

"One remember you are talking about the father of my children. Two I think he should be told what's going on. Especially with what you all are trying to do right now," I say taking a sip of my tea.

"What!?" Tyler exclaims standing up and looking at Caroline. "You guys are making plans to kill my Alpha?" He looks hurt and moves away from Caroline.

"Not actively that I know of," Caroline says.

"Oh, so you don't know." I say interested. "Elena wants to bring Mikael to Mystic Falls."

"Who's Mikael?" They both ask.

"He is the father of the original family," I say.

"Oh good, he can get Klaus under control," Caroline says with a sigh.

"It won't work that way. Remember when your dad tortured you to get you to no want to feed on blood?" I ask her and she nods. "Well, imagine that your whole life because your mom had an affair, and you were the product."

"Oh my god," Caroline gasps covering her mouths with her hands.

"He was bullied by his father his whole like his siblings got it too but not as bad as he did. I'm not excusing his behaviour. But his father will kill everyone in the way. Tyler, James, Thor, Freya, myself, we are expendable in his eyes. He will kill us," I explain.

Caroline looks upset, "You're sure this will happen?" She asks.

"Yes, I'm sure." I say with certainty, "I'm going to have guests coming soon, two of them. They are here to protect Thor, Freya, and I," I tell them.

"Does that mean we can't come over anymore?" Tyler asks.

"No," I tell him. "It's just a heads up so you know what's going on."

"Good, I don't know what I would do with out you," Tyler says sitting back drinking his tea.

"Probably spontaneously combust," I joke. We all laugh.

"Mom!" James yells bursting into the house.

"Yes James?" I ask calmly.

"Kol taught me how to watch people today. I watched Stefan and Damon and saw Mikael. He's with them. They plan on luring Nik back here. Stefan did it to save Damn's life," he says, "I also saw Aunt Bekah telling Elena the story of the originals."

"Well, looks like things are moving faster then I thought," I say. "I will let Nik know when we talk, we will be able to make a plan to protect us. Don't worry James."

"I just can't lose you, mom." James says coming over and cuddling up to me.

"You won't," I whisper to him.

I look up at Caroline and she looks upset. I hold open my arms and she speeds over cuddling up to my other side. Tyler looks perfectly. Kol walks in with Thor and Freya.

"Oh, look a puppy pile with Tyra," Kol says.

Thor runs and jumps on my lap.

"Sure, sure," I say. He sits on the couch beside Tyler.

"Nik called about Finn and Elijah," Kol says. "I called Sage as well. I thought she would help Finn get reacquainted with life and help him find motivation to live."

"Yes, I imagine his love would be able to accomplish that," I say.

"Daddy come back?" Thor asks looking up at my face.

"Before you know it," Tyler says. Thor turns to Tyler quickly. "Why don't we go play. I think Freya needs to learn how to play."

Rebekah runs in as Tyler walks off with Freya and Thor.

"Did Nik kill our mother?" Rebekah asks me.

"Loaded question but short answer is yes," I say. She drops to her knees.

"Why would he do such a thing?" She asks looking up at me.

"Remember when you are turned your emotions are heightened. You guys were still pretty new to this life. She bound a part of him. To him she was fixing her mistake by changing him because he wasn't good enough." I explain. "Sure, he did overreact, but what your mom did was wrong as well. He was tired of being the victim all the time and with heightened everything he killed her."

"Did he tell you all that?" She asks surprised.

"Some of it. Others I figured out on my own. It wasn't difficult. Your parents made you into killers. Nik more so then anyone else. I'm not saying its excusable, but when has he gotten kindness without someone wanting something from him?" I say.

"He's changing though," Kol says.

"What do you mean?" Rebekah asks.

"Elijah and Finn are on their way. I called Sage as well, Klaus spoke to her." Kol tells her.

"He undaggered them?" Rebekah questions.

"Yes, Tyra and the kids are changing him. He is becoming a good father. He is also learning how to raise a werewolf for a son. He is asking all the fathers he can for advice. He's also asking marlocks. He wants to raise Thor and Freya right. He wants them to look up to him and not fear him, sister." Kol explains telling her things not even I knew.

"So, you're on his side now, Kol. What happened to wanting to leave him?" Rebekah asks

"The only sides there is, is Thor and Freya's side or the side that wants them dead. I am on Thor and Freya's side. The one that lets my niece and nephew grow up to be strong magic wielders and even better people. I want them to not have to face our mistakes, nor face the same things we did." Kol tells her.

"Fine, I'm on team Thor and Freya as well." She says pouting as I hear the doorbell.

I go and answer it and see a red head that I have never seem before.

"Hi, is Kol here?" she asks.

"Yes, come on it. You must be Sage, I'm Tyra." I say gesturing her in. I close the door behind her, and we head back into the living room.

"Kol, were you telling the truth?" Sage asks as soon as she sees Kol.

"Yes, but I shall introduce you first." Kol says.

She takes a seat on the chair. I sit back where I was.

"That's James, Tyra, and Caroline. Tyler and the kids are in the other room." Kol points to each of us.

"Finn is coming here to protect Tyra, James, and the kids. Why?" Sage asks.

"Well, turns out Hybrids can have children. Nik has a boy names Thor and a girl names Freya. Tyra had them both." He explains.

"Will I get to meet them?" She asks.

"If you want to come into the playroom, I can introduce you. You will have to excuse the mess though." I say. She nods and we both head to the playroom. I see Tyler holding Freya up like she is standing while Thor is showing her all his different toys/

"Tyler?" I say.

"Yeah?" He looks up. "Oh hi," he says to Sage.

"Hi," she says,

"That's Tyler and of course the other two are Thor and Freya. Thor can you say hi to your Auntie Sage?" I ask him.

"Hi Auntie Sage. Do you want to play with us?" He asks.

"Of course I do. It's why I came here. Daddy wanted you to have someone to play with." Sage says with a massive smile on her face.

"Daddy?" Thor asks.

"Yeah daddy," she replies.

She gets down on her knees and starts to play with him. I head back to the living room where Caroline is explaining what's going on to Kol and Rebekah, with James imputing forgotten details here and there. I head into the kitchen to start making dinner for everyone one.

"We should keep Thor here instead of at daycare," Rebekah says to me walking into the kitchen. She immediately starts to help out.

"Thank you," I say.

"I used to help my mother with dinner everyday. Sure it wasn't a modern dinner, but it's similar enough." She replies chuckling.

"I can agree with you on keeping Thor here. We will stay home saying Thor has the flu. It should shave off suspicious. Keep them from thinking Finn and Elijah are here. You can stay in school if you want." I tell her.

"That's a good plan. I won't say anything about Kol. Hopefully they will forget about him," Rebekah says.

"I have a feeling they will backstab you so be aware of that. I won't let Nik keep you daggered. I cant have you missing Thor and Freya growing up. Freya is hitting so many milestones so fast, and I don't want you to miss a single one," I tell her. She hugs me.

"Thank you," she says quietly.

She knows she might get daggered, but it won't be for years that she will be under. I won't let the happen. I know Nik won't let that happen either.

He has changed, so, his siblings say. Hopefully, that is true. I want Thor to grow up with a good role model. Learning everything, he needs to, to become a man.

Mikael will not get the chance to be a part of his grandchildren's lives. He will miss out on that. He supposedly had them turned into monsters because of his youngest son dying. He chose to hunt them down to rectify that mistake. That is the bed he made, now he must lie in it.

"Deep in thought?" Rebekah asks pulling me out of my thought.

"Yes, just thinking how your father will never get to see his grandchildren grow up. Things have come full circle and he has no one to blame but himself." I say.

"You're right." She replies.
