You ask me if I've been in love
I cannot count the times
I've blown kisses to the icy wind
Or let the sun slip his hand in mine.
You ask me if I've been in love
I'll tell you of the nights
When the starts crooned out melodies
And the shadows danced out of sight.
You ask me if I've been in love
How can I try to describe
Slow dances with the frantic rain
On my skin did water slide.
A thousand times I've been in love
But never quite this way
When I find freedom locked in your arms
And you light up my day.
I've never loved with this much strength
Content in listening to your heart
I find all I desire in the abyss of your eyes
And I hope w shall not part.
This love I'd trade the world for
I would give up my other loves for you
For you are my heart, soul, and world
And Hector, I'm in love with you.
Not the best poem…too sappy for my tastes, but then again I shudder at romance. Anyway, go submit your favorite H/A fics to the awards! Thanks!
