- Mark and his family knows about the SGC and the Tok'ra.
- Sam is blended, and she has two daughters, Malika and Iasis.
- This takes place in 2012.
- There will be spoilers for Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and the movie, Spartacus.
Chapter 1 - Decorations
Mark was quite pleased with himself. He had outdone himself with decorations this Halloween. He stood back, looking at his house, then grinned as he turned on orange lights.
"You made it just in time!" He called out as Betty pulled up in the driveway.
Betty walked out, smiling as she looked to their house.
"We'll have also music and spoooooky sounds." He wiggled his fingers.
"Where are we going to store everything after?"
"Er."
Betty laughed, then kissed him. "It looks great. We'll figure it out."
"Yeah." He made a little hop like a little kid.
"The 'Canadians' will be very impressed."
He chuckled.
"Do they…er, understand Halloween?"
"All I care is that people don't avoid wearing costumes at our costume party. Selmak has assured me herself that they will come in costume." He grinned as he looked to her. "Did you get everything?"
"They had everything."
"Let's bring in the groceries then."
