"BEGONE VILE VEGETABLE!"

Once more Power snatched the vegetables out of her dinner plate and aimed them at her two housemates Denji and Aki in a fit of annoyance and anger. Huffing as they chewed her out for it not only a few seconds later.

"What's with you! For the past six months you have been acting out more then ever before! What's your issue!" Denji yelled at her angrily. Aki gave her a glare, preferring to let Denji do the talking on this one. Power simply stood up from the table yelling.

"Nothing! Now get off my case!"

And with that she stormed off in angry fit to her room, slamming the door behind her in an annoyed huff before throwing herself onto bed. Meowy very soon joining her and snuggling up next to her.

Finally alone with her beloved companion Power let it all out. And she started to cry.

"Oh Meowy….I miss him…"

It had been six months since she last saw him…the man that in such a short time had given her so much unexpected hope and feelings she had never felt before. Six months since she last felt warm. Since he left there had been an emptiness that filled her life more so then it ever had before.

She was stuck. Stuck under Makima, stuck following her commands. And every day she was hoping and waiting for a sign of his promise. To return for her….but the past six months had been empty.

No sign. Not a word.

Had he forgotten about her? Had he met someone else while in his world? All these heart wrenching thoughts kept creeping into her head and Power could not make sense of it all. Was all the feelings she had for him all just a lie, just a start down a road of pain and misery?

Had she been led astray? Had he strung her along? No he couldn't have had…he wasn't like that she could feel that! He wasn't a slob and pervert like Denji or a stuck up know it all like Aki. Okay to be fair they did look quite a bit alike but their personalities varied somewhat wildly.

"Oh great now I'm thinking of him again…" Power mumbled out softly as she snuggled Meowy close to her.

The Blood Fiend could barely believe some boy had captured her heart like that…no not just a some boy…a very special man. Maybe she sort of knew it deep down from the start that he was special and just that one special moment together, him taking a chance of being alone with her lead to this complicated scenario which left her feeling like a mess. Sometimes unable to sleep without crying, thinking about him.

And here they were. Worlds apart with only empty promises to keep up the idea that they see each other once again.

Power glanced over at her night stand and reached out to it with her hand. Opening the top drawer she pulled out a seemingly ordinary watch. But she knew it was anything but ordinary. She had observed it hundreds of times during the last six months. Remembering his last words before he had to leave. About how this watch was only for emergency. When the urgent need was so high that she had no choice but to use it.

It could reach him. At any moment she could use it to contact him.

But she never did and it was driving her mad thinking about what was stopping her. She knew he had a huge responsibility to bear on his shoulders and maybe subconsciously that's why she never used it. Priorities after all and there was no emergency happening at this point.

There was no reason to contact him.

Yet she wanted nothing more. Clutching the watch in her hands she allowed herself to cry completely. She refused to hold back her tears, refused to hold back the pain her heart had been feeling for months. Muttering softly "please….please come back…"

"Where are you…" she asked out loud to no one in particular, maybe in some cosmic sense hoping he could hear her out there and hear her plea and see her breaking heart.

"Where are you Megumi…"

A/N: Figured I'd make a start on this story, the sequel to "Come into my World" focusing on the previously establishing shipping of Power and Megumi (still open to ship names) and I hope you will stick around for this story. I will probably still focus on "A Neverending Dream" first and giving a few more updates around this sporadically. I'm not sure how long this story will be but it's a start. Hope you will enjoy this story regardless.
