I hadn't planned to go to Battalion Aid, but despite my resistance, I'd do anything for BJ. After all, he was my best friend. However, it took the shelling and the thought that I might die to entice me to make up my will. It was something that I never imagined doing, not at my age, and yet I should have done it a long time ago. Writing it out made me realize just how much these people and my dad mean to me and how much it would hurt to have to leave them without saying goodbye. But at least if that ever happened, they'd be taken care of and hopefully know how much they meant to me.
