"Come friend, you must make us the waffles of tofu!" Came the bubbly voice through his door.

"No." Was his sullen answer.

"Oh pleas-" She started again, but was interrupted.

"Star, just…just let him stay."

"But Raven, he has been in there for almost a week…"

"I know…"

Then there came a sigh from each girl and he listened as their footsteps faded down the hall. He lay on his bed, his hair rumpled and his face tear-stained. His clothes were wrinkled from being worn for so long, and his room was extremely dirty, even for him. He sat up and ran a hand through his hair, exhausted from staying up for almost two days straight, but not sleeping for fear of the nightmares. He pulled off his shirt and changed into another, hoping that might make him feel a little better, but it did nothing. He sighed and walked over to his dresser, trying to avoid the things that reminded him of her. Everything reminded him of her. He opened his drawer and pulled it out, shining in all its evil glory-the only friend he needed. He sat on the bed again and looked at his arm, comforted by the many scars he saw, the little red lines that were proof of his depression. He took his dear friend-the knife he had taken from the kitchen almost a week ago. He pulled the blade across his arm, not even flinching this time. He almost smiled as the blood trickled down, but nothing made him smile any more. After a few more minutes he was satisfied, and he lay back, forgetting not to look at her picture next to his bed. Her smile almost seemed to turn to a frown at his activities. He didn't care. Through all of his numbness, it was nice to feel, even if it had to be pain he felt.

"Where's BB?" The leader asked, really knowing very well where the poor changeling was.

"Um…he's not….hungry." Came the reply from a very sad looking Starfire.

"I'm sick of this!" Cyborg yelled, slamming his fist on the tabletop and spilling the food and juice that had been there. "I'm sick of him being like this! It's tearing us apart!" He said, trying to ignore the tears that were welling in his eyes as he thought of their seemingly lost friend. Before anyone could say anything however, he got up and started towards Beastboy's room, wiping the wetness form his eyes. He stopped at his door and started banging on it.

"BB, get out of there! Come on!" He shouted and then lowered his voice when there was no reply. "Please…" He broke down and started crying, leaning against the wall. He lashed out, accidentally punching through the wall, and then stopped crying as he realized that the other Titans could hear him. He made his way to his own room, ignoring the calls from the others, and locked himself in. Raven stood in front of his door and wondered what to do. Finally, she left. She could have taken down the door, but she didn't have the heart. Besides, the hurt was getting to her, and she needed to meditate to control it. Starfire started sobbing as she saw what this had done to all of them. She had tried to keep on a happy face for everyone's sake, but it was just too hard.

"Terra!" She sobbed, burying her face in Robin's shoulder. He wrapped his arms around her, trying to be brave for her, but he let a single tear escape. It led a lonely path underneath his mask and traveling down his face, landing on Star's back.
