The journey of the heart
This is my third story and my first collaboration with someone else. The main creator of the story is Osiris the war god. I am the writer and co-creator. We hope you like it.
There are two big differences in opposition to the Canon. In the Canon Hermione became friends with Harry (and Ron) after the Troll in this story Neville is the same. Ron also was away more from Harry during the second year after Harry used parseltongue and stayed more away from Harry (, Hermione and Neville) until Hermione was petrified then Ron came back and was 'friendly' with Harry again. Any other changes are in the story if you can find them.

Chapter 1 The Bonds begins
29th May 1993, Chamber of secrets, below Hogwarts
Harry is dying he feels it. The fang of the basilisk is in his arm but he has only one reason to try to be alive long enough though and that is to save Ginny. The basilisk has slithered off somewhere after losing four fangs in the fight. It seems like Tom's loss of focus combined with pain made her able to break free for now at least.
He crawls to Ginny she feels cold, very cold. Tom is standing close by and Harry could see that he is still draining Ginny's soul. He grabs the fang out of his arm and drops it next to him and next to Ginny.
Tom says "remarkable, isn't it? How quickly the venom of the Basilisk penetrates the body. I guess you have little more than a minute to live. You'll be with your dear Mudblood mother soon, Harry. Funny... the damage a silly little book can do... especially in the hands of a silly little girl."
Tom looks at Harry and Harry put his hand on Ginny again she is more important than his own life. She doesn't deserve this and it was his fault for not helping her as he 'knows how a first-year can feel all alone. He has felt that for years even during primary school and how difficult it is to make friends although it was mostly because of Dudley.
Tom sees Harry holding Ginny's hand and says "yes, Potter. The process is nearly complete. In a few minutes, Ginny Weasley will be dead, and I will cease to be a memory. Lord Voldemort will return... very... much... alive. Too bad you won't be able to live and see it."
Harry grabs the diary and the fang. Tom sees what he does and asks "wait what are you doing?"
Harry stabs the diary on the front.
Tom screams "Stop. No!"
Harry opens the diary and starts stabbing pages. After a few pages, he closes the diary again and stabs the front again. Harry pushes the fang as deep as he can. When he is halfway through Tom screams one last time. The scream he let out is one of full-blown pain and (mental) agony. Tom suddenly vanishes with a large light that blinds Harry for a few seconds.
As he opens his eyes he looks around when he suddenly hears Ginny sitting up clearly sobbing.
Ginny manage to say "Harry, it was me. But, I swear, I didn't mean to... Riddle made me. And... Harry... you're hurt."
Ginny starts crying and sees that Harry is hurt.
Harry knows he is dying he feels it but that doesn't matter now as Ginny is safe.
He says "don't worry. Ginny, you need to get yourself out. Follow the Chamber, and you'll find Ron."
With a thrill Fawkes lands next to Harry.
Harry says "you were brilliant, Fawkes. I just wasn't quick enough."
Fawkes's thrills are full of sadness before he starts to cry in his wound. Seven large teardrops fall in his wound closing it but leaving an easily seen scar.
Harry feels a bit better and says with a large smile "of course! Phoenix tears have healing powers Thanks. It's all right, Ginny. It's over. It's just a memory."
Fawkes jumps on Harry's shoulder and pushes his head against Harry's affectionally. Fawkes gives a thrill and Harry just knows what Fawkes means.
Harry says "okay Fawkes."
Harry turns to Ginny and says "Fawkes will take you to Ron and Lockhart before getting you out of here. I am not done yet."
Harry stands up but stumbles as the poison is still in his body. Ginny grabs his sleeve and asks "please don't go after the basilisk get someone else to do it. Dumbledore or the ministry got a special department that can take care of dangerous creatures."
Harry says "don't worry about it Ginny I will be fine."
Ginny still a bit sobbing says "please Harry…."
Harry interrupts her and says "I will be fine. Now Fawkes get her to safety."
Fawkes thrills, flies off his shoulder put his claws on Ginny's shoulder without hurting her before he flames her out.
Harry says to himself "okay Potter let's hope Fawkes is right and Ginny will forgive me."
Harry sees the sword lying a few feet away and walks to it before he sees the sorting hat to the side and picks it up and puts it on his head.
The hat immediately starts talking "well Mr. Potter you can say I am gladly surprised. Also, it seems the sword has served you well as it should be. You may praise yourself lucky that Fawkes seem to like you very much and therefore used his healing tears."
Harry doesn't say anything he walks back and grabs the fang of his arm off the ground and put it in his pocket before grabbing his wand, which Tom had held while he was fighting the basilisk. He looks around and sees the three other fangs and pockets them too. It was a tight fit be he manages to pocket all the fangs and even made it look like he doesn't have anything in his pocket. He is thankful that the robes are large and baggy.
Harry turns to the statue of Salazar Slytherin and walks towards it. The hat says "the statue doesn't do Salazar Slytherin any justice. You, Mr. Potter, need to find the basilisk why don't you try calling for her in parseltongue."
Harry focuses hard on a snake before he shouts §Basilisk of Salazar Slytherin heed my call. The bad heir is dead. Come to me.§
For a couple of minutes, nothing is heard and Harry thinks the basilisk has run and will not return.
The hat read his mind and says "just wait, Mr. Potter, she will come."
The hat was barely done saying that when the Basilisk slithers back into the room. She looks afraid at Harry through her damaged eyes while she came back she tries to stay far back out of reach from at least the sword.
The basilisk asks §the bad heir is gone?§
With the large basilisk, nearby Harry doesn't have to focus on using parseltongue and says §yes the bad heir is gone.§
The basilisk uses her nose to smell around before using her large tongue that is only forked a few inches at the front of the tongue, but if you didn't look for it you will not find it.
The basilisk slithers around the room and Harry. Harry somehow doesn't feel afraid. The basilisk slithers closer to Harry and after almost 10 minutes the basilisk is next to Harry. She smells him with the forked part of his tongue before laying her head next to Harry.
The basilisk says §young one smell like old Master's friend. New Master?§
Harry not forgetting to be polite firstly asks §may I know your name?§ as he doesn't want to call her the basilisk and he doesn't care about this new master or that he smells like an old master's friend. Harry just wants to make sure she doesn't attack anymore.
The sorting hat keeps quiet and Harry wonders why the sorting hat whispers just like in the sorting "this is something you must do Mr. Potter."
The basilisk says §old master called me Athena.§
Harry likes the name and says §it is nice to meet you, Athena.§
Harry wants to ask her to not attack anymore but the sorting hat says to him "ask about the old Master's friend and new Master."
Harry doesn't want to but the sorting hat did give him the sword that helped him defeat Voldemort again even though he didn't really stop Voldemort with the sword.
Harry thinks to the sorting hat 'do I have to?'
The sorting hat says "yes."
Harry gives a large sigh and thinks let's get this over with.
Harry looks down to not look into Athena's eyes like he has been doing while talking. Athena sees to notice before Harry remembers the eyes are damaged and sis before Harry could ask §speaker you can look in my eyes. Speakers are immune to the killing gaze and immune to being petrified even though the phoenix damaged them.§
Harry looks up but still doesn't look into her eyes. He is still not certain until he remembers Tom looking directly at Athena and didn't try although on the other hand he wasn't really alive so maybe that is why he doesn't die.
Athena sees Harry still not certain and sis §speaker, the bird scratched my eyes and are not working for now. I need time to heal especially my eyes.§
Harry thinks 'that is right. Fawkes did it to help me.'
Harry looks up and sees the blooded eyes, but he doesn't die. The hats say "now you didn't die so ask the question."
Harry thinks 'stupid hat' but decides to get it over with.
Harry asks §Athena, I suspect Salazar Slytherin was your old master. Who is your old Master's friend and who is your new master?§
Athena looks at him and says §the sword…§
Harry interrupts Athena by screaming "Godric Gryffindor?"
Athena nods which surprise Harry. He asks §you understand English?§
Athena nods and says §I can understand some English, but the name of my old master is a name I remember in every language even a human language speaker.§
Harry sighs and thinks 'why do I smell like Godric Gryffindor?'
Before the hat can say anything Harry thinks 'I know I need to ask.'
Harry asks §Athena do you know why I smell like Godric Gryffindor?§
Athena nods and says §speaker must be Heir of old master's friend, Godric Gryffindor.§
Harry looks amazed and asks in human language while stammering "w-wh-what? Heir?"
Athena nods again. She says §yes speaker. You are probably the Heir of Godric Gryffindor.§
Harry thinks 'Heir of Godric Gryffindor. Maybe Professor Dumbledore can help me with that?'
The hat immediately says "don't tell Headmaster Dumbledore yet Heir Gryffindor. As the sorting hat made by the Founders, I am here to protect the Heirs to the best of my abilities and if needed advise and guide them especially if there is no other available Heir left or in your case you are the last of your House and that immediately means there is no other Heir left of the male line of Godric Gryffindor as your father and grandfather cannot help you so I am the next best thing for now. There is another one from the daughter of one of the Heirs of Godric Gryffindor many generations back and the next in line but you are the only one from the male line."
Harry decides to not question the sorting hat as according to Hermione and Daphne the sorting hat is an ancient magical artefact unable to be controlled and mislead anyone while also protecting the thoughts and mind of any student unless certain things although those things were never explained.
Harry thinks 'I really need to read Hogwarts: A History. However, knowing Hermione and Daphne it could be any book in the library they got her hands on more Hermione than Daphne but Daphne is no slouch devouring books. If Hermione doesn't know maybe Daphne knows or remembers in which book they read it maybe there is more about Hogwarts and the sorting hat in the book.'
That thought alone makes him smile. The sorting hat still on his head starts to chuckle and says "Mr. Potter you can think about this another time, but I can assure you that Miss Granger and Miss Greengrass are right although I wonder how they know that as it isn't written in Hogwarts: A History. Only a few books that Headmaster Dumbledore has not removed tell of that fact. I ask you to trust my creators including your forefather Godric Gryffindor."
Harry says "I guess you don't act like the diary and as long as you don't act like the diary in any way I will trust you."
The sorting hat says "I will not as I may be able to look through student's minds and defences I have no motive as besides sorting students and helping the Heirs if they want it or in your case will be very beneficial. I also cannot endanger the school, students and staff in any way not that I want to. The chamber when used badly like this time and 50 years ago was a danger for the school."
Harry asks "you said this time and last time but wasn't it when Salazar Slytherin made the room?"
The sorting hat says "no. Over the centuries the chamber became a legend and was seen as Salazar Slytherin's way to remove the muggleborns by killing them and defending the magical world. I am apparently the only one that knows the real reason and that is while the chamber is to defend the magical world it is to protect Hogwarts from outside and inside threats, be it magical, muggle or dark creatures. Time for the last question Mr. Potter."
Harry sighs and asks Athena §Athena what do you mean with new Master?§
Athena says §speaker is new Master as speaker defeated bad heir and is old master's friend. Speaker is new Master.§
Harry shouts surprised §ME?§
Athena nods and says §if the speaker wants to. All that needs to be done is bond and speaker is my new Master. I would like that speaker as I can do my duty if you allow speaker and to make sure to do my job for the decades to do if I bond myself to a speaker and fully bond my life will be tied to yours and I will heal faster but also will shrink a little bit. If you are 10% of your lifespan I will also revert to 10% of my expected lifespan at least that is what the old master said. I hope that you, speaker, grant me that also during schoolyear I can be your animal if we bond through a special way I can look like a muggle animal. Old Master made sure I and my older sister that was seen as his only and own basilisk have that ability as he got a basilisk with him and I could attack the treat inside without destroying Hogwarts and could sneak upon threats on the outside.§
Harry says §I am sorry Athena but I can't I already have an animal companion also snake is not one of the animals I can keep not at home or here at school.§
The sorting hat cannot speak Parseltongue but he could read Harry's mind and knew what he said. Before Athena can respond the sorting hat says that in the Hogwarts charter there is a rule that if a student can speak an animal language that student is allowed to have two animals companion. One that is one of the allowed animals and if the student speaks a language that is not one of the allowed animals if the student can prove to control the animal or at least the animal will listen the animal is allowed but the student takes full responsibility for the animal if the animal attack without being provoked which can lead to expulsion or the animal gets executed.
Athena says §the hat is right. The same goes for magical animals like a phoenix, crups and other small magical animals but not me but I can look like a muggle snake if we bond as I need a small bit of your magical power to do so. Speaker, you will almost not feel it and you won't lose any magical power as your magical power will refill even if I still look like a muggle snake. Also being bonded with you, speaker, will help me to heal. I can heal on my own but it will take more time without a bond and I am not even sure if my eyes can heal without the bond. I am sure I can heal them so I can see again but I am not sure if I can heal my eyes without a bond to have what the bad master's heir called the killing gaze.§
Harry thinks about what he should do but also why it seems his life is weirder in the magical world than in the muggle world and his relatives.
Fawkes flames in but what surprises him is that he has Hedwig with him. Hedwig sees Harry and flies to his shoulder before biting his ear drawing blood. After a few seconds and drawing blood she stops. Hedwig hoots a few things before bumping her head to Harry affectionally.
Harry says "I am sorry Hedwig but I couldn't let Ginny die and it isn't Athena's fault. Yes, I love you too."
Hedwig hoots and Harry looks surprised. He asks "how do you know she is innocent?"
Hedwig doesn't answer and just keeps bumping her head to his. Fawkes suddenly lands on his other shoulder. Harry barely keeps standing as he is small for his age and has two 'large' birds on his shoulder. Harry is happy that Fawkes isn't the same size when he has his burning day. It is because of the phoenix's age that the first year after the burning day he grows like normal birds.
After the first year, he continues to grow while most other birds slow down growth or stop growing at all. A Phoenix is at its largest around two/ three years old some grow until well into their fourth year after their burning day but that is very rare. After they are fully grown they stay that way until their burn day is mostly around 10 years after the previous burn day. It is mostly between 9 years and 12 years but a very few will have their burn day earlier or later not that Harry knows this, but he knows if he needs to know anything about Phoenix either Hermione or Daphne can tell him what they learned or maybe in Daphne's case knows because of her magical upbringing.
Athena says §speaker, would you like to bond with me? I want to fulfil the first master's duty he bestowed on me. I would like to bond with you as the Heir of my master's old friend. I hope you let me do my duty as long as you are here. I want to stay longer but I understand that they will not trust me after I killed the girl 50 years ago.§
Harry sighs when the sorting hat says "bond with her."
Harry groans "I know that."
Harry looks at Athena and says §if you want Athena I will bond with you, but I cannot take you with me this summer so I ask if you can stay here. If you need food I don't know if you like spiders but there is a large Acromantula colony in the forbidden forest. I don't know if you can get there unseen. I do want to warn you that Acromantulas are venomous I don't know if that can hurt you? Also, I want to ask you to not kill the largest spider as that is Hagrid, the groundskeeper's friend. Hagrid is a friend and I prefer if you do not attack him.§
Athena says §I would like to bond, speaker. I can enter the forest as there are a few entrances to the forest that I can use from this chamber without going through the castle. I do not dislike the taste of spiders and I don't need to eat too many depending on their size. The venom will not hurt me as my own venom neutralize all venoms that are weaker or evenly strong. The large human is your friend, speaker than I will not attack him or any students if you want.§
Harry says §then we will bond, but first, the spider varies in size most of about the size of me I think. I don't know how close to the largest spider they are. Your venom is in the wizarding world known as the most potent venom with no cure. I am just happy enough Fawkes used his tears to heal me as Phoenix tears are one of the most powerful essences if you need healing even basilisk venom. Yes, Hagrid is my friend. I would prefer to not attack Hagrid, any of the creatures even if they are dangerous unless they listen to Hagrid, no student, no staff and only attack if the castle is in danger be it from the outside or the inside. If you are not certain you can change into a muggle snake and find me to ask. Is that agreeable?§
Athena nods and slithers around Harry to look like a circle. Athena says §speaker, repeat after me for the bonding as it will complete the bond immediately as I don't have another master at the moment as there is no Heir of Slytherin left. Also, the bad heir challenged you as Heir of Slytherin while you, speaker, is the Heir of Gryffindor.§
§Repeat after me. I, your full name, request by magic to grant us as is my right the familiar bond. I, your full name, Heir of Gryffindor do hereby claim Athena, the basilisk as my own by right and offer her the bond to become my familiar. Do you Athena, the basilisk accept the bond?§
§After I agree, speaker, you must say hereby I bind you to me and my life, so as I say it so mote it be. I would advise you to also extend the bond to the owl if she wants. It will extend her life so like me she will live as long as your life as long as she is not hit with anything lethal, she and I will be able to heal faster and survive more thanks to your magic and bond. We can also thank your magic and the bond so we can endure and sustain worse injuries that normally would never heal or even worse kill us. If we die, speaker, you won't as we are bonded to your life you are not bonded to ours.§
§You need to do the bond in our language speaker. For your owl, I don't know if you do it in parseltongue or your native language.§
§The bad master used a slightly different bond to force the bond and my will. The bond must be done soon otherwise the bond to the bad heir will remain as I feel that he is still alive although barely. The bond is fragile now as you speaker defeated the bad Heir present here.§
Harry sighs and says §we can bond if you want to Athena§ "….. Hedwig do you want to bond as a familiar something that Athena said?"
Hedwig bumps hoots agreeing before bumping his head in affection to Harry's head. Harry looks at Fawkes and says "I would offer it to you to Fawkes but you aren't my Phoenix even if you have an owner or something."
Fawkes gave a sad thrill but doesn't seem eager to want it to Harry so he just gives him a scratch before stopping and focusing on Athena to do the bond.
Harry says "Athena I would first do it with Hedwig as she was with me first if you don't mind."
Athena nods and understands before lying down waiting for her turn. She doesn't know why but somehow she feels very close to him and trusts him completely but also likes him very much even though she just knows him maybe not killing her and talking to her helped with her opinion while others will probably kill her before even trying to talk to her.
She remembers the last attack he needed to do by the bad heir. It was two girls near the library and one of the two smelled like the new master, but there was something more she hasn't figured out yet. Besides that girl, there was another girl near the dungeons many times that smelled just like the new master and also had something more, but she wasn't allowed to attack them as that girl was what the bad heir called pureblood. Other girls didn't smell like the new master but there was something that the other two girls who smelled like the new master also had.
Before Harry starts the bond Athena says §speaker you need to put your wand hand on your owl's head while saying the bond. As it is a magical bond and you have your own magic, not for an item you will feel your magic creating it. It may be a couple of minutes before we can bond as your magic may need to stabilize. There will be a mark on your owl but also on you when the bond forms. I don't know if they are the same or at the same place but it is to bond you to your familiar more to also feel and understand your familiar. For your owl don't have to use the Heir of Gryffindor.§
Harry nods and asks "Hedwig can you stand on the ground?"
Hedwig flies off his shoulder and land on the ground. Fawkes follows but instead of landing on the ground he flies to one of the snakes' statues. Harry remembers that the sorting hat is still on his head but stopped talking a while ago. He grabs the sorting hat and gently puts it on the ground next to the Sword of Gryffindor.
Harry gets on his knees and gently puts his right hand on Hedwig's head.
Harry says "I, Harry James Potter, request by magic to grant us as is my right the familiar bond. I, Harry James Potter, do hereby claim Hedwig, the owl as my own by right and offer her the bond to become my familiar. Do you Hedwig, the owl accepts the bond?"
Hedwig hoots accepting that Harry like everything else understands.
Harry smiles and says "hereby I bind Hedwig to me and my life, so I say it so mote it be."
For a second nothing happens until a bright light engulfs both Harry and Hedwig. It took a couple of minutes before the light disappears. Harry is breathing heavily. Hedwig flies up and it looks like she is ecstatic. She flies a few laps above Harry before diving down. She lands on his shoulder but Harry doesn't expect that and falls on his back. Hedwig flew up when she felt Harry falling. When Harry lies on his back Hedwig lands next to his head. She gently nibs his ear affectionally before bumping her head against his also in an affectionate manner.
It took almost 10 minutes before Harry sat up giving Hedwig a scratch. He looks at Hedwig and is very surprised. Around Hedwig's eyes are black lines like she wears glasses and on her stomach is a large black lightning bolt the same as his scar. He wants to look if he got a mark and also what but also where on his body it is. Hedwig looks at him and hoots something.
Harry asks "you don't mind? For that I am glad."
Hedwig hoots something back a bit mad.
Harry says "okay, I am sorry Hedwig I know you like your white feathers. If I knew this would happen I wouldn't have offered it to you."
Athena says §speaker just as my ability to change to a muggle snake your owl and familiar may be able to hide the black fathers to look completely white like she did before she bond. It would also be best, for now, to don't tell anyone about the bond with your owl or the bond we will do if you are still able.§
Harry nods and says "Hedwig maybe if you try to change them back to white according to Athena it should be able to work."
Hedwig hoots and closes her eyes. It took almost a minute before Harry sees the black lightning bolt black feathers and the black lines around her eye disappear or better said turn white again until even if you look closely there was no trace. Hedwig opens her eyes look down and when she doesn't see anything hoots happily. She goes flying around the chamber being happy she still has her beautiful white feathers.
After 5 minutes Harry says §I think I am ready Athena. We can better do it as it has been quite some time since Ginny and Ron were flamed out. I think if we don't hurry they come here to try to hurt you if not worse.§
Athena nods and says §you are right speaker we must hurry. The girl is probably very scared of what is keeping you so long, but I do want to say again that it may not be wise to tell anyone at the moment.§
Harry says §I guess so, the sorting hat also advised me to not tell everything that happens here. I think I only tell that the real person behind the attack is gone and that I stopped the attacks.§
Athena only nods. Harry stands up a little difficultly and walks to Athena's head. He looks at her eyes and sees that they are still not working not that he expected them to at least not yet, but he does see they stopped bleeding and could move the eyes even if she couldn't see with them….. yet.
Harry gently put his right hand on her forehead and says §I, Harry James Potter, request by magic to grant us as is my right the familiar bond. I, Harry James Potter, Heir of Gryffindor do hereby claim Athena, the basilisk as my own by right and offer her the bond to become my familiar. Do you Athena, the basilisk accept the bond?§
Athena raises her head a little so Harry can keep his hand on her head as her head lay on the ground. She says §I, Athena, the basilisk accept the bond from Harry James Potter to become my master and I will be his familiar beside Hedwig, the owl."
Harry looks surprised but automatically says §hereby I bind Athena to me and my life, so as I say it so mote it be.§
Another light engulfs Harry, Athena and surprisingly Hedwig. She immediately stops flying to land beside Harry.
Harry is now very tired. Harry says §I don't see any difference, Athena. I wish we had more time but now I really need to go. I don't think I can come by before the summer. I will see you as soon as I got time in the new school year. That would be a little over three months from now. I hope that is okay?§
Athena nods and says §all right Master that is no problem. I hope that around that time my eyes are healed and even the killing gaze work again although I may not need it anytime soon. I won't use it against students, staff or creatures unless they are a danger to the school. If I am not sure I will try to find you or call for you especially as I don't know how soon I can manage and master to look like a muggle snake.§
Harry stumbles to the sorting hat and the Sword of Gryffindor. Hedwig lands on his shoulder. With Hedwig on his shoulder, he uses the Sword of Gryffindor to not fall over while wearing the hat again. He asks "Fawkes can you flame Hedwig, the sword of Gryffindor, the sorting hat and me to where you flamed Ginny too?"
§see you in September Athena. Please rest and heal well.§
§see you then Master. I am sure I will be mostly recovered at the least.§
Fawkes thrills fly to Harry's free shoulder, grab him and in a burst of flames, he is gone. Athena decides to rest by slithering back through the mouth of the statue being happy about her new master.
30th May 1993, Professor McGonagall's office, Hogwarts
Harry flames into McGonagall's office. He sees Neville, Mr. Weasley and Mrs. Weasley sitting in a chair. Professor McGonagall is walking back and forth behind her desk looking very worried. Mrs. Weasley is crying and being consoled by Mr. Weasley while Neville looks unconformable to the others but smiles as soon as he sees Harry, he is happy his godbrother is safe, although he never told him.
Before Harry can announce his presence he is tackled to the ground from behind. He loses grip of the sword and falls to the ground. Hedwig managed to fly off his shoulder before he hits the ground. Hedwig is ready to attack the person when she sees it is Ginny who tackled her master and is crying in his robes holding on to him and doesn't look like letting go. Harry manages to turn on his back with Ginny on top of him.
Professor McGonagall has seen the flame and knows the 'silent' sound of Fawkes flaming in. She sees Harry and she can't control herself as she let out a large smile she has never shown any of her students inside Hogwarts. She walks to Harry. She grabs the sorting hat and put it on her desk. Fawkes flies to grab the sword and put it on Professor McGonagall's desk before grabbing with one claw the sword and the other the sorting hat before he flames out.
Fawkes immediately came back, flew to Harry's shoulder and gently lands on Harry's shoulder on the other side from the crying Ginny while Ginny had her head on his chest and not his shoulder. Fawkes gave a soothing thrill hoping on soothing Ginny. When Ginny starts sobbing and keeps sobbing Fawkes knows he can't soothe her more and flames out.
Professor McGonagall levitates Ginny off Harry to her feet. It makes her squeal and tries to grab Harry but loses her grip. Professor McGonagall conjures two chairs, one for Harry and one for Ginny. Ginny starts crying again until she sees Harry take a seat. Ginny didn't take a seat on the chair conjured for her and sits on Harry's lap grabbing his shirt and burying her face in it again. It makes her feel protected that she stops crying which turns into sobbing.
When Mrs. Weasley wants to hug her and gently get Ginny off Harry's lap Ginny doesn't let go of Harry. Mrs. Weasley trusts Harry and lets Ginny on his lap. Neville has been quiet until now. He says "thank Merlin you are safe Harry and thank Merlin you managed to save Ginny. Ron should be very happy when he knows. He should be in the hospital wing by now. Do you know what happened to Lockhart?"
Harry nods and starts talking about the chamber but didn't tell them everything like bonding with Hedwig and Athena among other things. He did tell them he was bitten but that Fawkes saved him. When he tells them he is bitten Ginny sobs, Neville looks surprised and almost in awe. Professor McGonagall already has her wand pointed at Harry and Mrs. Weasley is crying again.
Professor McGonagall asks "Harry are you sure you are alright? I think it is better to put you in stasis until Madam Pomfrey can examine you."
Harry says "I am sure I am alright Professor McGonagall. I would have been dead otherwise. Fawkes's tears saved me as they stopped the poison from killing me. It didn't stop a scar from the wound but I don't care about that. I am happy Ginny is safe and the attack will not happen again. Fawkes is really the hero though, he came with the sorting hat which made me able to get the sword also he scratched At….. the basilisk eyes so the basilisk couldn't kill or petrified me with its eyes."
Fawkes flames in again but this time he only has the destroyed diary in his claws. Fawkes keeps it in his claws and doesn't let anyone take it. He lands on the desk of Professor McGonagall and it looks like he waits for something. It is barely 5 minutes later when he flames out with the diary.
During the 5 minutes, nothing was said as they looked at Fawkes and wait for Fawkes to do something.
Professor McGonagall is the first to respond and says "why don't you Mr. Potter and Mr. Longbottom go to Madam Pomfrey to get yourself examined and I suspect Mr. Potter you need to carry Miss Weasley there if you don't mind. Make sure she is examined too."
Nobody had realized until Professor McGonagall said that Harry should carry her that Ginny had stopped sobbing and fell asleep but still holding onto Harry like it is a lifeline with her face buried in his shirt. Everybody could see that Ginny was even grabbing Harry's shirt tighter than when she was awake. They knew the chance that Ginny would let go of Harry if he tried to remove her would wake her up or she would fight against it in her sleep. She would fight against it and after the traumatic experience, she could unintentionally use accidental magic that can hurt everyone in the room and especially the one who tried to remove her from Harry. She writes a quick letter and gives it to Neville.
She says "Mr. Longbottom when you, Mr. Potter and Miss Weasley enter the hospital wing and give this to Madam Pomfrey and says it is from me and that she needs to read it before examining any of you. Mr. Potter if you feel tired or ill you can be examined first and please try to not wake Miss Weasley she probably needs her sleep."
Professor McGonagall wants to joke that he beat his father by getting a girl in his bed for several years as Ginny would probably not let go soon, but she thinks for now it is poor timing and she had Arthur and Molly Weasley in her office the parents of the said girl. She doesn't want to upset them and give them the idea that Harry would do something unappropriated with their young daughter.
Professor McGonagall may not know Harry very long as she would like but he seems very polite, well mannered and almost a model Gryffindor like his father was beside the pranks. She looks forward to getting to know him in his youth right after he was born but the attack from Voldemort took that away. Secretly she hoped she could raise him or at least be involved but as Dumbledore is his guardian he chose the muggle sister of Lily although she strongly was against it and ill-advised it, as his guardian Dumbledore has the final say. She has listened to Dumbledore but now two years in a row he had been in great danger.
Professor McGonagall thinks 'Merlin be damned. I will not treat Mr. Potter as another student. He is the son of James and Lily Potter and my god grandson. I don't care what Dumbledore says he is my god grandson and as his godfather betrayed his parents and his godmother is unavailable I will be there for him from now on at least at school. I wished also at his home but unfortunately, I can't change that, I just don't trust those muggles, but I didn't hear anything of Poppy besides that he is small for his age and she suspects a large growth spurt in the coming year or two. I don't think I misjudged those muggles and feared the worst but if Poppy doesn't say anything is wrong I trust her and thank Merlin that they are better than I saw and expected.'
It is at the end of her thought that the door of her office closes and she is with Molly and Arthur in her office. She needs to talk to them regarding Ginny. Ginny will not be expelled she doesn't think Dumbledore will do that as it isn't Ginny's fault. She still sees Harry's ashamed face when he told the story of why she wrote in that diary at least what the diary told. His face lights up when he said that the diary told that Hagrid was framed, which Professor McGonagall was also glad to hear as she really likes Hagrid from the first day she met him. Hagrid is also a good Gryffindor so she never thought he did what he is accused of also it is the Chamber of Secrets from Slytherin not of Gryffindor.
30th May 1993, Hospital wing, Hogwarts
Neville and Harry had been quietly talking to not disturb Ginny that Harry was carrying with her hands still holding his shirt with her legs wrapped around Harry's waist. Neville had been mostly talking about what he did and Harry listened like a good friend. Neville didn't ask Harry about the chamber because every time anything about the chamber came up Ginny grabbed Harry tighter and sometimes she started sobbing. Also as Harry told almost everything in Professor McGonagall's office where Neville was of course present.
When they open the door they see that every bed that was occupied by a petrified person plus two had a screen around the bed. In the other two beds are possibly Ron and Lockhart. The bed where Harry had lain in since the first time in the hospital wing is unoccupied as the three next to him.
Madam Pomfrey appears from one of the occupied beds as she comes from behind a screen. Madam Pomfrey looks at Harry and says "I should have known Mr. Potter. Can you let Miss Weasley down before I examine you?"
Neville says "Madam Pomfrey, Professor McGonagall said that you should first read this note before examining any of us but I don't need to be examined."
Madam Pomfrey says "we will see about that. Can you please give me the note, Mr. Longbottom?"
Neville nods and says "of course Madam Pomfrey."
Madam Pomfrey grabs the note read it and curses something quietly Harry, Neville and Ginny don't hear. She says "alright. Mr. Longbottom, please go to that bed. Mr. Potter you and Miss Weasley can go to your normal bed. I already knew I would see you so I kept it open. I wonder if I need to put a sign up that is our bed including how many times you have been here already. Some I see never and if I see someone for as many times as you, it will be all seven years never in not even two years. There only a very few I see more but not by much and again in all seven years, not in two years."
Harry says "what can I say Madam Pomfrey. I like your care some much I just can't stay away."
Madam Pomfrey turns around to not let them see her smile. What Harry said is such a James thing to say.
Madam Pomfrey says while leading them to their bed "I won't be so cheeky if I were you Mr. Potter as you may not like what happens then, like keeping you until the end of the year and until Christmas the day you return."
Harry's smile falls but not by much as he says "Madam Pomfrey, I would be honoured about the care you want to give me but I don't want others to be jealous I get such good care from you."
Madam Pomfrey smile they still do not see as she says "I would be careful being cheeky, Mr Potter as I am sure Professor McGonagall will be more accepting of what I deem necessary. I am sure Miss Granger or Mr. Longbottom would come every day to give you your homework as you will not leave the bed."
Harry starts to be scared she really does that and says "Of course, Madam Pomfrey please accept my apology."
Madam Pomfrey turns around and smiles. She says "up and on the bed Mr. Potter. Watch out that you don't drop Miss Weasley."
Harry gets on the bed and tries to get Ginny off him but she doesn't let go and even grips him tighter.
Madam Pomfrey sees it and now understands Professor's McGonagall note. She says "don't worry about Miss Weasley, Mr. Potter I will first examine Mr. Longbottom before I examine you. I advise you to let Miss Weasley where she now is. A good rest is very beneficial for a speedy, soon and good recovery."
Harry just nods and wonders why Madam Pomfrey let Ginny lay on him. Harry has learned from his relatives that he should never do it as it is inappropriate and he is forbidden to ever do it no matter how old he is. His relatives also said that nobody would want to be where Ginny is now, hugging him while lying on him. He got a hug from Hermione before but while it was a big hug they were standing and in public. Uncle Vernon was extra mean the first few weeks after that what became worse after Dobby with bars for his window.
Madam Pomfrey gave Neville a dreamless sleeping potion as he was still suffering from being anxious when he went to Professor McGonagall as Harry asked him to do it as Dumbledore was sacked by the governors that Hogwarts apparently have.
Madam Pomfrey almost smiles as he sees Harry sitting with his back to the head of the bed and using the pillow to support him while he keeps Ginny comfortable. Madam Pomfrey's smile widen as it almost looks like James and Lily only a few years before she caught them once when James was in the hospital wing, Lily came to visit him and she left them alone for a few minutes to check on another patient before going to her office to grab some of the potions the other patient needed she didn't have in the cabinet in the hospital wing.
Madam Pomfrey has two dreamless sleep potions and said that they both need to drink one. Harry gently feeds Ginny the potion and as it is gone he wants to gently lie Ginny in the bed but she still grabs him hard when he wants to leave her.
Madam Pomfrey says "don't worry Mr. Potter. You will not be punished as Professor McGonagall expected this. You don't have to worry. Now I understand you were bitten by a basilisk. Could you tell me how you live?"
Harry nods slowly to make sure he doesn't hit Ginny while he nods and says "Fawkes, Professor Dumbledore's phoenix was there and drop a couple of tears in my wound closing the wound and stopping the poison I guess."
Madam Pomfrey does not before she grabs her wand and says "none of you is in danger. As I can examine you with Miss Weasley on top of you like that, but I am sure you are not in danger. I will leave examining both of you until I can do you separate. Now Mr. Potter drinks the dreamless sleep potion."
Harry wants to argue but the fight with Athena and the bonding between Athena and Hedwig took a lot out of him. To be honest he is very tired and barely holding himself awake. He could also not escape with Ginny on top of him and he doesn't think he has enough strength to escape while carrying her and reach the Gryffindor tower.
He takes the dreamless sleep potion reluctantly but somehow knew that Hermione, Daphne and Ginny want him to take it. He takes it and soon falls into a deep dreamless sleep. What Harry doesn't know is that Madam Pomfrey takes a photo, which she normally never did. Harry and Ginny look like James and Lily but this is innocent what James and Lily weren't and Madam Pomfrey is sure if she didn't catch them they would have gone further in the heat of the moment. Fortunately, Harry and Ginny are too young.
She knows this will have a large impact on Harry and Ginny which may push them together until she remembers 'Miss Granger and Miss Greengrass visiting Harry a lot when he was in the hospital wing especially when he was unconscious at end of his first year. Now Miss Granger is petrified but Miss Greengrass is not. I wonder what will happen if Miss Greengrass sees Miss Weasley like she is now or how the youngest Mr. Weasley will react. I just need to make sure they don't see. Now it is already past 02:30 am I better get to bed immediately to be ready for today. It will probably be a busy day.'
30th May 1993, Hospital wing, Hogwarts
Harry wakes up feeling a figure on top of him. He has apparently held the figure he recognizes as a person on top of him. One of his hands was in her hair while the other was low on the person's back. He feels the person has long hair so he suspects it is a girl. It is red hair, not blonde or brunette. If it is blond but a shade darker he would have suspected Daphne while on the other hand, a brunette would point at Hermione. The only two girls that ever hugged him although Daphne did it only once after the Troll incident. He was never hugged or at least doesn't remember until they did separately.
As the person is still asleep his thought goes back to the night of the Troll.
**Flashback**
It is Halloween night. I thought 'Ron is a git but still my first friend my age, but Hermione didn't deserve this. Hermione was just trying to help him. Alright, maybe she shows off a little but still tried to help him.'
He asks Parvati if he remembered her name well and where Hermione is.
She says "she has been in the girl lavatory on the first floor closest to the giant staircase. Lavender and I ask her to come out before dinner but she refused. We heard her crying."
Harry looks to Ron who apparently hasn't heard a thing as he is stuffing his food. Harry thinks 'after dinner, I will try to talk to her. She looks nice. She always wants to help others with spells and homework. She is really smart. Maybe we can be friends. I do want to when I sat down at the same table as her, but she always has her nose in a book. Not that it is a bad thing, but sometimes it seems she like books more than the other people in her class. I just want to be her friend outside of class although I like sitting with her in class and some of the time talking about homework.'
'I also tried to let her see that not all Professors are right or fair with Snape as the perfect example. Or Professor Quirrell who is just barely understandable and a Professor needs to be understandable. Hermione was not happy when I said that. I tried to explain but she wouldn't bulge. Fortunately, she agreed to let that matter rest.'
It is almost half an hour later when Professor Quirrell runs into the Great Hall and screams about a Troll in the Dungeon before fainting right in the middle of the Great Hall. There is panic on all the tables. It seems that Professor Quirrell's scream about a Troll even got Ron's attention who jumped up with still food in his mouth and tried to scream which let almost all his food fall out his mouth. It is really disgusting.
Professor Dumbledore manages to get control when he somehow can let his voice be heard above all the screams. He orders the prefects to take the students to the Common Room. Harry sees Dumbledore saying something to the other teachers, but sees that Snape is not one of them as he apparently disappeared as he is sure he was here when Professor Quirrell run in. Harry doesn't hear what Professor Dumbledore says, but before he sees the teacher act he is pushed out of the Great Hall by the other Gryffindors.
He manages to drag Ron with him to the side out of the way right before they reach the giant staircase. Harry pushes Ron and Neville see it happen as he feels Ron getting pushed as Ron first hit Neville before they manage to get out of the group. Neville could follow Gryffindor house to their Common Room but decided against it and instead follows Ron and Harry around the corner where they are not seen.
Harry says "Hermione, she doesn't know about the Troll we need to help her."
Ron says "are you mental? There is a Troll in the castle."
Harry says "Hermione is on the first floor the Troll is in the dungeon we need to get her. If we are fast I am sure we can get her, before anyone knows we are gone and without encountering the Troll."
Ron wants to deny it when Neville says "I am with you, Harry. Hermione is nice I don't want her to get hurt."
Harry doesn't know why but Ron immediately agrees.
Harry says "great we need to go now."
Before Ron or Neville can answer Harry already heading up to the first floor as they are still on the ground floor. Ron and Neville run after Harry as he is also running.
When they reach the first floor and run towards the girl's lavatory which according to Parvati Hermione is in when a nasty smell gets stronger with every step.
Then they round the last corner before being in the corridor with the girl's lavatory Harry pushes both Ron and Neville back around the corner with surprising strength for his small frame. They look questioning as they look around the corner and see the source of the nasty smell, the mountain Troll, obviously not in the dungeon anymore.
The Troll is just about to enter the girl's lavatory. Neville says "let's hope Hermione is already go.."
Neville stops talking as they hear a scream but not just one. It sounds like at least three different screams. Harry immediately runs to the lavatory hoping to help Hermione in any way he can as he finds himself at least partially to blame for not going against Ron's rude almost bully-like comment while she only tried to help Ron.
Harry doesn't wait and runs into the lavatory. He looks around and sees the stalls at the right and the sinks past the Troll on the far end wall. There is nothing on the left side but in the corner next to the stalls on the left side he sees two girls he is sure he saw before. One girl has blonde hair and the other has black hair. He doesn't see from which house they are but it doesn't matter he needs to save them. The Troll hasn't seen them yet.
Harry screams "Hermione? Where are you?"
Hermione walks out of the stall before rushing back in as she sees the Troll. The Troll raises his club and Harry screams "Hermione duck down". The Troll uses his club from right to left destroying all the stalls around three feet of the ground. As Hermione has ducked down the club goes over her without hitting her and she only feels wood on her back from the destroyed stalls.
Neville and Ron have entered the lavatory. The two other girls scream at the sound of the Troll destroying the stalls. The Troll sees them and Harry says "we need to distract the Troll."
Harry sees rubble on the ground including pieces of wood that were part of the stalls. Harry starts throwing at the Troll. Neville immediately helps Harry. Ron is hesitant before always throwing. Harry as a seeker took only two throws before he hit the face of the Troll which obviously gets the Trolls' attention.
The Troll tries to hit them but Harry manages to duck down pulling Neville with him down. Ron stands stunned but Ron is just out of reach from the Troll's club. He sees the club going inches in front of his face which makes him wake up and immediately take several feet back to the entrance of the lavatory.
Hermione moves outside of a stall but with the wood on top of her she makes a lot of noise. The Troll hears her and tries to hit her but she manages to just evade her as the club destroyed the sink she was under to hide just seconds before. Hermione screams as she barely evades the club. The two girls scream and that got the attention of the Troll. Hermione doesn't know-how as she is stunned by fear but suddenly she is next to the two other girls in the corner.
The Troll corner the three girls and is ready to hit them. Harry does the only thing he can think of and springs on the Troll's back to get his attention. Harry is happy that it works but the Troll is moving violently to shake him off. Hermione and the two other girls scream as Harry is almost hit by the club a few times.
Harry sticks the wand in the Troll's nose hoping to keep the Troll occupied. Harry continues to keep his hand on his wand. Harry screams "girls move."
The girls want to but they are all too stunned and afraid to move especially as the Troll still blocks their only exit. It took a few minutes before the Troll manages to shake Harry off him. Harry lands hard on the ground but manages to hold onto his wand that got out of the Troll's nose. The Troll raises his club again to hit the girls and Harry and Neville are both throwing rubble again while Ron is now cowering just outside of the lavatory as he didn't want to be near when Harry dies.
The Troll is again being distracted by Harry and Neville. With Harry being the closest he tries to hit Harry. Harry evades the club barely three times as he has pain in his leg from landing. The fourth time the Troll tries to hit Harry it works and Harry gets slammed into the wall. You can hear something break if it was quiet but it wasn't. Harry feels his left arm broken and maybe some ribs.
Seeing Harry slam to the left wall and Harry falling to his knees make the girls scream again and also makes Neville stunned from fear and being scared for Harry. The Troll looks back at the girls screaming and raises his club. The Troll is ready to hit them as the club comes down. The club stops and hits the sinks closest to the girls. The Troll looks confused as he was sure to hit the girls. Suddenly the girls are a little closer to Harry. They don't know how until the girls see Harry's eyes glow and his hand outstretched to them.
Harry manages to get up and the Troll is ready to hit Harry again as he is becoming an annoyance. Harry sees the club coming before he hit Harry again. Harry slams hard to the wall and blood is clearly flowing. Harry immediately stands up again although he struggles a bit. The girls are crying after seeing this small boy fight against a fully grown mountain troll.
The club comes down again to hit Harry. The girls and Neville can't look but also can't look away. Ron cannot see what is happening but the scream from the girls said enough that it is bad.
The club swings but before the club hit Harry the club explodes most of all the splinters no matter how small goes back to the Troll. The Girls and Neville aren't hit but some splinters had hit Harry. The Troll takes two steps back and looks at only a small piece of wood that is left in his hand what was once his club.
It took a moment before the Troll screams what looks like pain from all the splinters all over his body. The pain seems to fuel the Troll to use his bare hands. He wants to grab at Harry for revenge for the loss of his club but before he can Harry casts a spell stopping the hand from grabbing him.
The Troll leaves Harry alone and wants to grab one of the girls. Harry sees that he goes for the blonde girl and his other hand works to grab Hermione. He grabs them when Harry screams "NO".
Harry waves his hand releasing both girls before he starts throwing spells above his year and a few they don't know. It works. the Troll sank to his knees when Harry's eyes glow every more than before when he cast at the Troll's chest. The spell left Harry's wand and went straight to the Troll.
The Troll falls dead on the ground and if you look at the stalls you see his heart. Harry's eyes stop glowing as he falls backwards to the wall from the power he put behind the spell. When the eyes stopped glowing Harry slides down the wall to sit on the floor.
The girls and Neville immediately walk toward Harry. When Ron didn't hear anything anymore besides the girls and Neville he steps inside like he saved the day.
Hermione asks "Harry oh my god are you alright?"
Harry gave a smile that is his signature smile and says "I am fine Hermione. Are you okay?"
Hermione with tears says "I am fine, but you are not, look at your left arm and you were limping."
Harry says "I am fine."
Harry looks at the two girls and says "sorry I didn't introduce myself, I am Harry Potter."
He sees the face of both girls and says "wait you are in my year."
The blonde one is still shocked from being grabbed but not crushed as she suspected when she was grabbed.
The black-haired girl says "yes, we are from Slytherin. I am Tracey Davis and this is Daphne Greengrass."
Harry simply asks "are you both okay?"
Tracey as Daphne is surprised a Gryffindor is nice. Daphne nods and says "yes, thank you for saving us."
Harry says "don't mention it but I think we need to get the Professors to let them know the Troll is here and not in the Dungeon anymore."
Tracey nods when Daphne turns to Hermione and asks "are you okay now Hermione?"
Hermione looks surprised and smiles and says "yes thank you, Daphne. I want to thank you and you too Harry. Neville thank you for helping me."
Neville says "are you really okay Harry? and you Hermione? And you Heiress Greengrass and Heiress Davis?"
Hermione, Daphne and Tracey nod. Harry looks confused but didn't comment and says clearly in pain "I am fine Neville. Maybe you can get the Professors?"
Hermione says "I do agree with Harry. And Daphne I al….."
Before Hermione can continue Ron gets almost pushed aside by Professor McGonagall and the other Professors.
Harry doesn't remember much from that as he was tired. He remembers Neville and Ron helping him to the Hospital wing followed by the girls. He remembers badgering Madam Pomfrey to let him go to his bed. He barely succeeded but that he must come to the hospital wing tomorrow after dinner as he needs to have a good night.
Harry didn't see Madam Pomfrey's confused mind as it looks like most of the wounds have healed themselves at least a little bit. Miss Granger, Miss Greengrass, Miss Davis and Mr. Longbottom were sure Mr. Potter broke his left arm and was limping but I didn't find anything wrong although it seems like his arm have been broken before and never been properly set. It is not giving him a problem right now as does his right arm although that one wasn't broken according to the others. His legs show some scars and have the same as his arms broken but never properly set. She decides to keep an eye on Harry but not intervene mostly in Dumbledore's instruction.
Harry does remember that night very good. When they came back Neville and Ron immediately went to bed. The common room was empty and Harry wants to go up to go to sleep. Hermione's tears stained wished him good night before also going up.
It was barely 15 minutes later Harry is still awake and while being tired he feels he needs to go to the common room. When he walks down he sees the fire is still going strong when he sees beautiful bushy hair.
He walks and sees that Hermione is crying on the couch. He sits next to her and automatically Hermione lies her head on his shoulder. Harry feels a bit unconformable. When he wants to stand up Hermione grabs Harry's clothes to prevent Harry from standing up and getting away.
Harry stands up while helping Hermione to stand and went to sit on the ground with him back to the couch. Hermione sits down but Harry didn't except for Hermione to sit on his lap. She sits on Harry's lap sideways and lays her head back on his left shoulder with both of her feet on Harry's right side. She grabs Harry's clothes and is sobbing a bit. Harry awkwardly put his arms around her and that seems to console her as she slowly stops sobbing while crying without making a sound. She pushes her head deeper onto Harry's shoulder and tries to get closer to Harry than humanly possible.
Harry doesn't know how much time has passed before Hermione fell asleep. Harry is awake the whole night. Hermione wakes up when the sun signs through the window right before the others wake up. Hermione sees she has slept in Harry's arms in front of the fire. Hermione blushes say "thank you Harry" and went upstairs to get dressed.
Harry gets up stretches and feels even worse than yesterday evening. It is not because Hermione slept in his arms as that felt nice it is just that he feels even more tired. Harry is happy that today starts with a double hour history of magic where everyone sleeps except Hermione which makes Harry smile and wonder if Daphne does also sleep or is like Hermione.
**end flashback**
Harry opens his eyes and doesn't see clearly. Harry tries to go for his glasses that somehow lie on the bedside table as he doesn't remember taking them off. While someone is on top of him his arms are free to move. Harry manages to get his glasses before he put them on. He looks down and sees beautiful red hair. He feels the same as when Hermione holds on to him and must admit he likes it despite the circumstances both times. He gently moves her hair and almost sits up in shock when he sees it is Ginny Weasley.
Before he reacts all the memories from the chamber come back and just lie back with Ginny still on top of him. He starts to think about the last two years well after Halloween night on his first night. Almost nobody knows that he is good friends with Daphne and Tracey as is Hermione and Neville to a lesser extent. Because of the rivalry between Slytherin and Gryffindor, nobody besides them knows. They often meet in the library although it is mostly Hermione and then at least once or twice a week they meet in an unused classroom and just talk but also since this year also told what Malfoy said.
Harry and Hermione didn't tell them about the Polyjuice potion as they were both gone for Christmas and will they trust Daphne and Tracey Harry didn't want them in trouble as you are not allowed to let other students from the other house know where the Slytherin entrance is and also not what the password was.
