Palutena was sitting on her big chair in her temple. After another war between humans and the underworld and forces of nature. Here she was just chilling and relaxing with one of her books when she doesn't have to watch the humans she rules over. While she was reading she was thinking of her captain of her guard who was happily training in the training yard.
After her captain pit finished his training for the day, he went to the kitchen to grab a snack then off to his room to take a nap. While he sleeps he dreams of being more than Palutena's captain of her guard. In his dream him and palutena were raising their own little family in the palutena temple. Where all the children play with mom and dad. A little family is growing in the temple.
During pit nap Palutena stops reading and walks around her temple. On her walk she thinks back to pit and how much time has passed since the day she found him in the underworld hands. She loves how he always has a smile on his face when his beating monsters and other underworld forces. Though she must not think of any thoughts about her captain pit or he would surely be targeted by the other Greek gods and she would lose her powers and skyworld together at once.
At least she had time to think about her rule. Is it really worth it, to watch humans family grow and yet never get to have her own, but that is the price for the female Greek gods to otah to never have any children. Yet the otah was created by zeus and he broke it all the time which caused a lot of problems and to top it off Hera places curses on female zeus because he keeps avoiding her and their problems that they need to fix.
After all the thinking she had palutena's thoughts when back to her angels once where they talk and charter with one another. That was a day so many moons ago that laughter was hard in these garden and hallways of her temple, but now it is a lot quieter here. Sure she would hear pit laughter and smile after winning a match at the smash mansion and make many friends, but it's not the family she was looking for. She always wanted to grow her family, but with the stupid law in the way she can't have any. So with that on her mind she decided that she will no longer follow the otah because she was never happy with it anyway.
While on her way she bumped into pit. Who happily hugged her while with a big smile on his face. Palutena loves seeing that smile it always made her day and that she wants to keep seeing it on him. So she asked pit what he was dreaming about during his nap. " It's always been a dream of flying lady palutena!" Though she knows what he was dreaming about and why she can tell all but she tries not to look into people's dreams like that but she likes it when she can see pit's. Then she leans over and kisses him.
Pit pulls away a bit "Palutena it's against the law for angels to have any relationship with their goodness or other gods!" " Pit I don't care for that law anymore it keeps me unhappy anyway I feel happy when you hug me. I really enjoyed it, but also I was thinking about you and all the time we have here. I don't see you as a warrior here at home but as a lovely companion to stay with forever."
Once he heard those words he knew she loved him more than anything else. So he is always going to the end of the earth and underworld just for her. " Palutena I love you too, but the other gods will find out about us and remove me from you to some far away place and you would lose your prowers!"
" I know pit, but I'm really tired of all these wars here and how you nearly get killed every time. I don't need to be fighting for a society of gods who don't help the humans down below them or other gods fighting one another. I'm just done with it all."
After she finished she just hugged him and let out all of her stress though crying in the pit. Pit just let her hug him while processing what he just heard. Palutena loved him,she kissed him, she even said she wanted to be with him forever, but at last it was the law that she hated the most, but there was nothing he could do or say to her. That could find a way to have a relationship without the other gods knowing,but that was impossible they would find out and kill because of the law. Also being open about it would get them both hurt. He didn't want Palutena to lose her powers, but also didn't want to die and leave Palutena all alone.
By the time Palutena stopped crying, he had already made up his mind that he would give Palutena anything to make her happy. With that in mind he lifted her off the floor and took to her room and set her down and went to his own room but not before palutena gave a kiss in front of him on the lips.
That how things when on in the next few months palutena and pit love grew to a point that he asked for palutena's hand in marriage going in without a doubt that he could get killed and her lose her powers, but that's what not matter to him at most was palutena happy. He and palutena plan on getting married where all the humans got married at so it would look like just another humans wedding while palutena use a little spell that would hide his wings and her hair so the other gods and humans wouldn't recognize them, but they will be able to tell who each other is.
