Monday after homeroom, Sabrina was headed to science class when she saw one of the faculty members hanging up a flyer in the hallway. It read:

"That actually sounds like fun, maybe I can ask Danny to go with me... as a friend, of course!" she thought to herself. Later that day at lunch, the lunch lady gave her the usual brown slop and she then went to go sit with Danny and Tucker. That is, until she felt someone bump into her and knock her over, causing her slop to spill on the cafeteria floor. "Oh well, I wasn't going to eat that anyway." She thought.
"Watch where you're going!" a girl said rudely, with a slight Spanish accent. Sabrina caught glimpse of her. She was a tall, slender girl, who had long, wavy dark hair, blue eyes and tanned skin. Sabrina hated to admit it, but she was quite beautiful - she could easily be a model if she wanted to! "Watch where I'm going? You bumped into me!" Sabrina spat indignantly.
"Whatever, you're lucky you didn't get that slop on this shirt, it's designer!" The other girl said. Sabrina rolled her eyes. "Say, aren't you that girl who rejected Dash last week?" the girl asked. "Yeah, that was me." Sabrina said proudly. "How pathetic, you'd rather hang with those losers than us? You're making a mistake!" the girl said. Sabrina knew she meant Danny and Tucker.
"No, I think I made the right decision, because those guys are nice. They don't put other people down or bully them like you guys do. You're obviously very insecure and I feel sorry for you. You guys are losers." Sabrina told her.
Danny and Tucker watched this from their cafeteria table. "God, I love her!" Danny thought with a smile. "Keep telling yourself that. I'm rich, beautiful and popular. I've got no reason to be insecure." the girl said. "Yo Paulina, your chef's here!" Dash called from the popular kids' table. "See? I'm so rich, I have my own chef deliver gourmet food to us. Have fun eating garbage with your two freak friends!" Paulina laughed while Sabrina growled.
Sabrina was about to clean up the mess when a janitor came up and said, "Don't worry about it, I've got this." She sat down with Danny and Tucker. "I see you've met Paulina." Danny said. "Unfortunately. You weren't kidding, she is just like Gem!" Sabrina said. "Yeah, I gotta say, that was pretty awesome, the way you put her in her place like that." Danny told her. Sabrina smiled and blushed a bit. "Thanks, Danny." she said.
"No problem. Just try not to let her get to you too much, okay?" he told her. "I'll try not to." she said. The two smiled at each other for a moment. Sabrina felt nervous at the thought of asking Danny to the dance. Her heart began racing out of her chest. "C'mon, Sabrina, it's now or never!" she thought. Right as she was about to open her mouth, Danny began to speak.
"Hey, Sabrina, can I ask you something?" he asked. "Technically, you just did, but go ahead." she teased him a little. He laughed. "Yeah, you got me. Anyway, so earlier I saw a poster for the winter formal next month, would you like to go with me? Just as friends." he asked. He was a little nervous but tried his best to play it cool. "I would love to! I was actually about to ask you the same thing!" she said. "Really? Awesome!" he said.
"How cute, next thing you know you're gonna be finishing each other's sentences..." Tucker began to tease before Danny slugged him in the arm. "OW!" He shot Danny a dirty look. "Are you gonna ask someone to the dance, Tucker?" Sabrina asked. "Nah, my family and I are going to be in Disneyland so it's not my problem this year." Tucker said. "Yeah, he usually doesn't end up going to dances anyway." Danny said.
"Because he doesn't want to or because he gets shot down whenever he asks someone?" Sabrina asked. "The second one." Tucker sighed. "What day are you leaving for Disneyland?" Danny asked. "The eighteenth, first day of Christmas break." Tucker said. "Well, I hope you have fun." Sabrina told him. "Thanks." Tucker replied.
Later that day, the three of them met at Nasty Burger after school, each having a Nasty Burger and fries with soda's. "This totally beats school food." Sabrina said. "Why do you think we come here?" Danny asked. "I'm amazed that whatever that slop is is legally approved by the FDA." Sabrina said. "That we know of." Tucker said. Danny and Sabrina shuddered at the possibility that it isn't FDA approved.
Soon Danny felt his ghost sense as he saw that blue mist come out of his mouth. "Oh great!" he thought. "I've gotta run to the bathroom!" Danny lied, running off. He then ran off to hide so that he could change into his ghost form. Soon a somewhat heavyset ghost with blue skin dressed like a butcher appeared, though nobody was scared in the slightest of him, not even Sabrina, and this was her first time ever seeing him.
Danny pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration. He knew who this ghost was all too well. "I AM THE BOX GHOST! AND I'M HERE TO DESTROY YOU PATHETIC HUMANS!" The ghost bellowed. "Oh please, the only thing you've ever destroyed are your hopes and dreams." Danny said. Everyone laughed, including Sabrina and Tucker.
"DO NOT MOCK ME, GHOST BOY! I'LL MAKE YOU SUFFER!" The Box Ghost threatened, flying towards Danny, who sucked him into the Fenton Thermos before he could lay a finger on the half-ghost. "BEWARE!" The Box Ghost declared has he was being sucked into the thermos. "That was almost too easy." Danny said.
"Oh, was it?" A familiar calm voice asked. Danny jerked backwards immediately at recognizing the voice. Vlad Plasimus became tangible, and Danny felt his blood boil. "Hello, Daniel." Vlad smiled, which made Danny even angrier. "I knew you were up to something!" Danny hissed.
Vlad fired an ecto blast at Danny before he could do anything to dodge it, which knocked him square to the ground, causing it to shake. Everyone got to cover. Sabrina was staring at the fight between Danny and Vlad in shock. "C'mon!" Tucker said, pulling her by the arm under their table.
Danny begun to get up and Vlad floated down towards him. "My dear boy, hasn't anyone told you to respect your elders?" He asked. "Fuck you!" Danny spat out venomously. "Oh, Daniel, that's quite the potty mouth you've got. Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?" Vlad asked. "No, but my dad does!" Danny taunted. "Now that's a bit of a kick below the belt, don't you think?" Vlad asked.
He snapped his fingers and his ghost vultures appeared, whisking Tucker and Sabrina away. "Let us go!" The two demanded as they were taken away. "Oh, would you look at that? Looks like your friends had a flight to catch." Vlad grinned as he whispered to Danny. "I told you to stay away from Sabrina!" Danny said. "And I am, I'm a man of my word Daniel. I never said I wouldn't unleash someone else to take care of her." Vlad told him.
Danny's eyes glowed with anger. He didn't know what Vlad meant by "take care of her" but he knew it was something bad, and he'd promptly put a stop to it. Vlad flew out of the fast food restaurant and Danny followed him. He saw one of the vultures drop Tucker into a trash can, which meant that he was at least safe. But where was Sabrina?
"HELP!" She screamed from the sky as another one of the vultures held her captive. "Sabrina!" Danny panicks. He flies over to uppercut Vlad, who has split into two Vlad's. The second Vlad fires another ecto blast at Danny from behind. "Don't bother, Daniel. Your girlfriend is a goner." the first Vlad tells him coldly. "No, but you are. Both of you are when I get my hands on you! And she is not my girlfriend!" Danny threatened.
Both Vlad's laughed. "It really is adorable that you think that." they said in unison. Danny quickly fired ghost rays from his hands at both Vlad's, who were even faster to pull out their ghost shields, causing the rays to hit Danny, knocking him to the ground again.
The ghost vulture then dropped Sabrina from pretty high up. She was even higher than some skyscrapers. She couldn't do any spells to save herself on account of there being too many witnesses. This was the end, as far as she knew. She screamed in terror.
Danny just barely got up when he heard Sabrina scream. He looked up to see her falling from the sky. "Sabrina!" he said. He flew up and grabbed her, before planting her safely on the ground. "Are you okay?" he asked. "Y-yeah. I'm just shaken up. Thanks. You saved my life." she said. "Couldn't let you plummet to the ground from that high. I'm just glad you're safe." he said.
"She may be, but you're not!" Vlad said, floating back down towards Danny. He was now the only Vlad again.
"We'll see about that!" Danny said.
Sabrina ran behind an alleyway as to avoid being seen casting a spell. The ghost boy just saved her life, she had to help him.
"You've overstayed your welcome, mister! Now-"
Before she could finish the spell, Danny was electrocuted by Vlad and went crashing down to the alleyway behind her with a loud thud. He was too injured to keep fighting and reverted back to human form, unconscious. "Danny?" Sabrina said in shock. Vlad and his two vultures flew away.
Soon, Jack and Maddie arrived at the scene in the Fenton RV. "Where is he? Where's the ghost!?!" Jack said, the Fenton Bazooka in hand. "They're gone, dude!" a teenager from the crowd said. "Oh." Jack and Maddie got back in the RV in embarrassment, driving off.
