'Justin's journal. Things have been a tad better lately. Well, if better meant people are being less of an ass. I still run into issues though. Pablo though... That guy's all sorts of messed up.
I remember when he tagged along on that lunch date I had with Kyanna and Nora last year. The guy was pretending to be Spanish just to impress Kyanna. Just because he's tan doesn't mean he's from Spain.
Thankfully, me and Nora both knew he was a hoax the moment he walked in. That whole fake-Spanish schtick backfired on him REAL bad. Now, he's in here trying to redeem himself. As much as I think everyone deserves a second chance, I don't think Pablo's capable of it. His mental capacity is so low and his ego eats up his personality. There's no way a guy like him could be redeemed, especially after Vin had to chase him out of his yard at 2 in the morning.
Regardless, it could happen, though the chances of it are very small. Then again, if Tiffany and Jessie can get back together and be a family again, then anything's possible. I still wonder what the big surprise is for when I discharge. Maybe she got me a VIP pass to some concert? Or maybe she got me a big box of chocolates? I dunno. Still, I don't think she's mad at me. She is aware of what's going on right now.
I still don't trust that Spengler dude. I mean, he's friends with Dr. Beckman. They play golf on their days off. Then the days when they're working, they torment people for the government.
Ugh, whatever. At least Zoey, Lillian, and Suki make this hospital visit a little more tolerable. Even if Sarah was being a major simp for me the other day, I still appreciate that she still likes me even after all the BS I put her through. Shit, I'm running out of room in my journal. Gotta see if-'
Justin put the pencil down, realizing he couldn't finish his journal entry for the day.
"Ugh, the nurses told me that journaling was a good coping skill but I can't even finish one entry due to lack of space." he said to himself, feeling a tad discouraged.
He took a look at the other patients, wondering what was going through their heads. Well, besides Sarah. It was pretty clear what was going through her head all the time.
But people like Mel, Morris, and even Cassie fascinated him. These people he had never met before somehow felt a tad familiar to him as if he knew them in another life.
Lillian and Zoey sat at the table near him, wondering what was on the mentally disturbed 23 year old's mind.
"Like, are you good?" the goth said, asking that repetitive question once again.
He looked at her, not sure if she was trying to show sympathy or if she was just pulling his leg. Her sarcastic tone definitely didn't help.
"Not good, but alright." he answered.
She brushed it off, taking his word for it. Zoey, on the other hand, knew something was up.
"So, Justin. What's with the secondary personality you've suddenly unveiled?" the cyber chick asked.
"It's nothing, Zoe."
"Hmm... No, it's not merely nothing. Who is Joseph? Why is he in your head?"
Justin sighed, not sure if he felt comfortable explaining the uncanny origin behind his other half, aka the depressed doppelganger that was in his head ever since he departed Greenseed.
"JK is a man with homicidal tendencies. Greenseed implanted him into my head for some experiment or some shit. They put me through all that physical, emotional, and psychological abuse for whatever reason. After I hit my head a few months ago while collapsing from an overdose, he's gotten more control."
"You overdosed?" Lillian asked, not aware that this happened.
"Yeah," he replied. "I overdosed last year and I did it again back in August. You didn't know about that?"
The goth shook her head. This was all new to her.
"Didn't Ashley tell you about that when she found me on the floor?"
Suddenly, she remembered.
"Oh, right. Like, I kinda forgot about that. I thought she was like, joking or some shit. I never knew you were suicidal like me."
He sighed, not feeling comfortable talking about his suicidal tendencies with an 18 year old angsty goth chick whom he never really liked.
"Like, what'd you overdose on?"
Is she REALLY asking that?
"S-Sleeping pills." he said, now feeling a bit unnerved.
She looked at him, finally starting to feel a bit more sympathy for him. She then hugged, him throwing him completely off guard even if it was only for three seconds.
"Like, I'm sorry." she said, still sarcastic.
"Lil, I can't take you seriously if most of the time you talk you have a sarcastic tone."
"Like, okay?" she replied.
Either way, she wasn't being as obnoxious or spoiled like she was last November at Tindy's steakhouse. Speaking of which...
"Like, have you heard from that Audrey chick?" the little goth asked, now bringing up an old friend.
"Yeah, I have. She was the one who grabbed me out of the bath tub after he tried to make me drown myself." Justin said, referring to when Joseph tried to take complete control by killing him.
"What the fuck..."
"Joseph did that?" the cyber chick asked, feeling a bit shocked that the man in his head went that far.
I sure did. You should've seen the look on that bitch's face.
"Yeah, he did. She's already traumatized enough from the mafia incident. Last thing she needed was to see me on the floor not breathing. She's even converted herself into a Christian Baptist since July."
"A Christian?!" the goth said, baffled that someone like Audrey Belrose would do such a thing.
"Yep."
Lillian gave off a look of disgust, not approving of this new lifestyle that one of her old lesbian crushes had adopted since their last encounter.
"That's pretty lame." she blatantly stated.
I knew she'd say that.
Later on in the day, Sarah had started to act a bit weird. She was running up and down the hallways of the wing and singing some random J-Pop songs from her mouth, which all sounded terrible.
"LA LA LA LA! My tomodachi makes me sugoi! Senpai love Suki!" she said, singing and acting completely manic.
"God..." Justin said, covering his ears at the loud and obnoxious sounds of a crazy weeaboo singing Japanese gibberish.
Lillian and Zoey both did the same, thinking she was being too loud for them.
"Like, can someone tell her to SHUT THE FUCK UP?!" the goth shouted, getting very irritated at the annoying babble coming from her current roommate.
David stepped in, knowing that she was being too loud for the wing.
"Sarah Stevens? Can you please settle down?" the hospital staff said, trying to be as nice as possible.
"AW! But I LOOOOVE singing my tunes. They're super duper SUGOI!" she said, now being even more annoying than before.
"Listen, Sarah. If you don't stop acting like a little kid on sugar, we're gonna have to put you in solitary confinement."
"Aw, but I don't wanna go in the straight jacket!" the weeb shouted, now throwing a fit.
"I do." the goth said, raising her hand. Everyone stopped and awkwardly stared at her. It was pretty random for her to say that, but it was pretty obvious why she said it.
Her and her bondage fetish. Jeez...
David turned back to Suki, trying to put that filth behind him.
"I suggest you calm yourself down. Sarah." he said.
Sarah then crossed her arms, now acting like a spoiled brat. Justin thought it was a little funny at first, but now it was just ridiculous.
And THIS is why I chose Tiffany and not her.
Towards the evening, after all of the patients had dinner, Justin sat at a table with Zoey, Lillian, and Sarah, who had calmed down since then. He watched them play their interesting version of Dungeons & Dragons, still wondering if he'd ever get a chance to play with them or not.
"Oi! Cera gets 100 XP." the weeb said, grabbing the card with 100 XP written on it.
Lillian then rolled the dice, landing snake eyes.
"Hell yeah!" she said, moving the chess piece for Lillandra. She landed on a chance card, which was adopted from Monopoly.
"You have to give 20 points of your HP to the other players. Fuck!" she said, realizing she only had 60 HP left.
Unfortunately, that was the rules of the game. She begrudgingly gave Suki, "Cera", and Zoey, "Blake", 20 points of her remaining 60, leaving her with 20 for herself.
"That's not fucking fair." she said, not happy about this.
"Oi! It's okay, Lily-chan. You may still have a chance." the weeb said, trying to cheer the little goth up.
Considering she has 20 HP, Zoey has 240, and Sarah has 180. Yeah, she's probably not gonna make it if they get into a battle.
"Your turn, Zoe." the goth said, handing the dice to the cyber chick.
She closed her eyes, going into deep concentration when rolling the dice. She then landed on ten.
"Ten!" she said, moving the chess piece for Blake. She had landed on a weapon sale.
"The enchanted crossbow. Perfect for an optimistic player in the game. Suki, you have the honors of receiving this as a gift from yours truly."
She smiled. "Aw, thank you!" she said.
Lillian frowned, still discouraged that she wasn't doing well at this home made D&D board game.
Now that the turn was over, it was now time to get into battle.
"Oh dear..." the cyber chick stated, realizing their next foe was a large orc with 500 HP.
"Ugh..." the goth said, knowing this wasn't gonna be good.
"I suppose you can go first, Lillian." the cyber chick said, encouraging her to make the first attack.
"Like, okay?" she said, making the first move.
"Lillandra used blackhole and it did 500 damage. There, the end." she said, violating the rules.
"No," the cyber chick said. "The rules clearly state that Lillandra's blackhole move only does 50 damage with your current XP, not 500."
Without any hesitation, Lillian flipped the board over, rage-quitting.
"Nani? Lily-chan, you did it again!" the weeb stated, implying that this wasn't the first time that Lillian had done something like this.
"Whatever. Thanks for playing." she said, walking off and giving the middle finger.
Well that was interesting...
Now, the other two girls felt discouraged, realizing their gothic friend was being a spoilsport tonight.
Justin sat there, now thinking it was a good time to have a casual conversation with Zoey about something that he had neglected to bring to her attention.
"So, have you spoken to Lola?" he said, bringing up the name of a familiar flight attendant.
"Oh dear..." the cyber chick said, realizing that she had completely forgotten about this.
"Let me guess: You forgot."
Zoey nodded, feeling a bit remorseful that she had basically ghosted the aspiring fashion designer ever since she escaped the astral realms the previous May.
"I sincerely apologize. I've had a lot going on since I escaped the..."
He nodded, knowing what she was trying to say. He knew she felt uncomfortable discussing the astral realms, considering she saw the thoughts of his ex-roommate in there.
"She's asked about you. Said something about you dropping off the face of the Earth. If I would've known you were in the mental hospital, I would've been the one to tell her. Maybe when I get out of here, I can try to call her and let her know you're okay."
"Right," the cyber chick replied. "Tell her I'm extremely sorry for phasing her out ever since last year. I'm sure her independent fashion-designing business is no longer in production, which is an unfortunate circumstance that I take accountability for."
"Not really." he said.
She raised an eyebrow at him, wondering what became of Lola's fashion designing business.
"Whatever do you mean?"
"I think she found herself a new partner. I don't exactly know who it is, but from the few sneak peeks she's posted on QuickiePic, it looks like some of it was inspired by my friend Nikki."
"Really?"
"Yeah, I think. I dunno, maybe Nikki's gonna promote her fashion brand on her livestreams somewhere down the line."
"Fascinating. So, does your friend Nikki do TeleYube broadcasts just like Polly Bendleson?"
Oh shit, I almost forgot about her.
"Nah, she does them on some gaming site. I believe it was called Bich?"
"Bich?" the cyber chick asked, not knowing if this was some sort of joke or not.
"Yeah, that's the name of it. It mostly consists of sexy gamer girls receiving donations or femboy virtual streamers saying uwu all the time. But hey, that's where one of my gay crushes stream at."
She looked at him again, thinking that was a bit odd for him to say out loud without feeling embarrassed.
"You have a crush on another guy?" she asked.
"Y-Yeah. His name is Stu. He's a Bisexual. I kind of like him, even though I have a girlfriend right now..." he said, now blushing.
She looked at him, intrigued that he had that mindset.
"Hmm... I never thought you'd fall in love with another person of the same gender. I admire you being open and honest about your sexuality and am in full-support of your pride. Be proud of who you are, Justin Dark."
Besides the mental issues, she's right.
"T-Thank you, Zoe. I'm Pansexual, in case you were wondering."
"Hmm... I believe I was already aware of that information. That's a great idealism. Very inclusive. I commend you for it. I myself am Bisexual."
I'm glad she approves. Then again, her and most of the other girls are also Bisexual. Still, it's nice to hear that she's OK with it, as opposed to that one asshole online who says slurs to me...
Lillian walked back in, now cooled down from her mini-tantrum after their Dungeons & Drama section.
"Hey. I'm still breathing, for now anyway." she said, slowly panting.
He knew her asthma was going to kick in if she became too worked up. So being mean to her probably wasn't a good option.
They all went to bed that night after an interesting day in Blackwing. This was probably the most normal day he could have in a mental institution like this. However, his time here was about to expire. He still worried about the treatment he was supposed to receive.
