Episode 13 - Olive Hood: Princess of Thieves

Once upon a time in a land faraway, there was the land of Nottingham. It was a land full of life and love... until the evil Queen Judy took over the land; and with her right hand man: Vice Sheriff Virmani - the two began to tax the people of the land until they all became very poor. Fortunately the people found a savior; a lone princess warrior archer from a faraway kingdom: "Olive Rozalski Hood". With her expert archery skills, she began a quest to steal from the rich and give to the poor, alongside her trustworthy team - The Merry Amigas. Hope began to spread across the land again... until one day the evil Sheriff decided to steal Olive Hood's hope...

Walking through the woods wearing a dark green shirt and green hood, was the sixteen year old vigilante: Olive Hood. Olive walked through the forest looking like she was at peace, until she heard the sound of a twig snap. Olive then spun around and quickly took out a bow and arrow. As Olive drew her arrow, she said, "Show yourself to be friend or foe now!" Suddenly from the bushes, Olive's friend Sydney appeared, also wearing a green hooded outfit similar to Olive's, as she said, "It is I Olive Hood. Your friend Sydney Scarlett. I come with bad tidings. Your lover Maid Emmy has been kidnapped by the evil Sheriff of Nottingham. He demands that you surrender yourself on the morrow, or Maid Emmy will be executed." A confused looking Olive then said, "Well I'm not gonna surrender... especially on a morrow. By the way, what the heck is a morrow!?" Sydney raised one eyebrow as she said, "It means tomorrow. Meaning we have only 24 hours to save her." Olive looking a bit distressed said, "Okay. But we're going to need help from all of the Merry Amigas... including maybe some new allies. But... where shall we find some allies last minute?" Then suddenly the two teenage girls began to hear the sound of music playing near them as Sydney said, "Hark. What is that? Someone playing a loot?" Then a confused looking Olive said, "No. I think it's the sound of... a boom box."

Then suddenly a teenage Leo appeared walking down the path carrying a large boom box while wearing a black t-shirt, sunglasses, and gold chains. As Leo began to crank the bass up on his boom box, he yelled, "YAYAH! WAZZUP! Little Leo is in the house y'all!" Then Olive and Sydney approached Leo as Olive said, "Greetings. You must be the great warrior from the south we have heard of: Little Leo. I am Olive Hood. I am on a quest to save my lover Maid Emmy from the evil Sheriff. Do you wish to join us?" Leo looked up for a minute, and then said, "OKAY! YAYAH!" Then Sydney looking a bit concerned said, "Olive, this warrior is... a bit odd. How do you know we can trust him?" Then Leo looked at Sydney as he began to crank up some rap music as he said, "Hey y'all. Listen up. Watch out my outfit's ridiculous. And I know I look real conspicuous. But y'all, I'm a real warrior on the prowl. I got my all work done. I even milked the cow. And forget about the sheriff. I'm a spit the truth. Won't stop till I punch him in his wisdom tooth. So give me authority, I'll be off to the show. And bend down to front, and I'll grab my bow!" Then an impressed Olive said, "Wow. That's actually a pretty good rap. I say he's cool. Now lets get on with our quest." Then Olive, Sydney, and Leo began to march through the woods.

At the top of a dark tower, Emmy sat wearing a pink dress as she looked out the tower window with sadness in her face. As Emmy looked on at the forest she said, "Oh Olive. Where can you be? Why have you not rescued me yet? Could the evil Sheriff have already killed you? Well if he has, then let him kill me tomorrow, for I would rather die than continue to live a life without you." Then suddenly Vice Sheriff Virmani stuck his head out from around a corner and said, "Shoot. My camera just ran out of battery. Could you say that all again in a minute? I need to put new batteries in this thing." A very confused looking Emmy looked at Sheriff Virmani and said, "Were you just recording me from over there?" Sheriff Virmani smiled as he said, "Oh, of course. Fans of you and Olive have speculated that you two have had romantic feelings for each other for years. I just wanted to get video evidence to post online that confirms it." A still confused looking Emmy then said, "But... is Olive Hood still alive?" Sheriff Virmani smiled as he said, "Of course she is. I wanna capture her and throw her into prison with you. I mean that's the only way I'm gonna be able to force you two to act out all my fanfiction I've written about you both. But if Olive doesn't come try to save you tomorrow, I'm definitely executing you. I mean unless you can find someone else for me to ship with you, it's not worth it. And the fans just haven't shown interest in shipping you and Sophia together for a long time now." Sheriff Virmani then left the room, as Emmy looked out the window again and said, "Save me my love! Save me soon!"

Olive, Sydney, and Leo were walking through the woods, when their friend Sophia from nearby approached them. Sophia waved as she said, "Olive Hood! Sydney Scarlett! Little Leo! My friends. It is good to see you!" Olive and Sophia quickly gave each other a hug as Olive said, "It is good to see you too. Sophia, Maid Emmy has been captured by the evil Sheriff. We have to save her. I know you shall gave us aide, but do you know of any other allies that can help us?" Then Sophia said, "Well actually a brought an ally who isn't far away..." Then suddenly Sydney jumped into the bushes, and pulled out a teenage boy wearing a brown robe. As Sydney dragged the teenage boy to the group she said, "Ha! I have found a spy!" Then Sophia said, "Whoa, whoa! That's not a spy. That's my friend I brought to help us. His name is Friar Max." A confused looking Sydney then said, "Huh? A teenage friar?" A teenage Max then stood up straight and said, "Yeah. I work the fryer at the Big Belly Burger. You should try the great fries we have there some time. However, I do deliveries too. And Vice Sheriff Virmani often has us do deliveries to his castle around the back. So I know a secret entrance into the castle which will help make it easier to save Maid Emmy." A smiling Olive then said, "Excellent. Then lead the way. We our closer than ever to saving Maid Emmy now my friends!"

At the top of the dark tower, Emmy sat wearing a blue night gown as she looked at the land before her. Emmy sighed as she said, "Oh Olive... where are you?" Then suddenly a nearby door opened, and a teenage boy appeared with a tray of food as he said, "Here's your meal m'am." Then Emmy looked at the teenage boy as she said, "Wait! I know you! Harry!? What are you doing here?" Then Harry sighed and said, "Well I had to do something after Sydney decided me and her needed a break. So I got a job working for the sheriff." Then a sympathetic Emmy said, "Oh yeah. That really stunk how you just disappeared after you and Sydney had that one talk." Harry groaned and said, "I know! And who does Sydney eventually start spending more time with? Her little cousin we never knew existed until suddenly that one summer! Plus, if Sydney was going to start singing in church, why not invite me!? What would've been the harm in that!?" Emmy nodded her head as she said, "Amen! I hear ya brothah!" A smiling Harry then said, "Thank you! Well... anyway, enjoy your final meal. I'm just gonna go off to disappear and not be mentioned for yet another long time again." Then Harry walked out of the room as Emmy sighed.

Olive, Sydney, Sophia, Max, and Leo were walking through the woods together. As the sky began to get dark Sydney said, "Oh no. The sky darkens. We should probably make camp for the night." Then Leo said, "Yayah! That's why I'm talkin' bout! Lets make some s'mores people! Yayah!" Then once the five teenagers made a camp fire, everyone began to prepare a meal; except for Olive who sat still and starred blankly into the fire. Max then sat next to Olive and said, "What's wrong Olive? Not angry?" Then Olive said, "No Friar Max. I just can't stop thinking about Emmy. I can't stop thinking about the beauty of her face, the way her lips felt against mine, the way she excited my body and soul the first time we made love... oh, I'm sorry for all that TMI good Friar." Then Max said, "Hey, I told you all. I'm not that kind of Friar. However if you miss your love so much, why not sing a song about her? I mean, I definitely do that when I think of my lost lover Alisha." Then a curious Olive said, "You sing a song about the love of your life? Can you share it?" Then Max looked up and said, "Well... sometimes when I think of Alisha, I look up at the night sky, think of the long summer nights we had together and where we spent them, and then I sing this..."

Then Max suddenly pulled out of his bag an electric guitar, and then immediately began to play it as he sang, "There's a place off Ocean Avenue, where I used to sit and talk with you. We were both sixteen and it felt so right, sleeping all day, staying up all... NIIIGHT!" Then Max jumped up and began to play the guitar loudly as he yelled, "If I could find you now, things would get better! We could leave this town and run forever! Let your waves crash down on me and take me awaaaay!" Then suddenly Max heard a female voice say, "Max?" Then Max turned his head and saw his girlfriend - a teenage Alisha walking towards them. Max jumped up and immediately hugged Alisha as he said, "Alisha, my love! You found me!" Then Alisha raised one eyebrow and said, "Of course I did. Considering how loud you played that music, who couldn't find you?" Then Max looked at the group and said, "Well my friends... I'll see you again at dawn. Me and Alisha are gonna camp elsewhere so we can sleep together and fornicate." A confused Alisha then said, "Are we allowed to do that?" Then Max shrugged and said, "Hey. This adventure isn't happening on the channel we used to be on. Lets have some fun on this site!" Then Max and Alisha held hands as they quickly ran away.

As the night drew on, Olive walked away just a little bit from the camp site her friends were at as she looked at the full moon in the sky. Then Sydney and Sophia walked over from their camp site to Olive and stood beside her. As Sydney looked at Olive she said, "What's the matter Olive? Can't sleep?" Then Olive said, "I can't... not while Emmy is gone from me. Max said earlier I should sing a song about my feelings for her and how I miss her. However I just can't find the words." Then Sophia held up her cell phone and said, "Why not just find someone else's words then and sing them? Here, I found a song from Aerosmith they did in the 90's. Sing this." Sophia then started up some music on her phone, as Olive looked up at the night sky.

As the music began, Olive then briefly closed her eyes as she sang, "I could stay awake just to hear you breathing. Watch you smile while you are sleeping, while you're far away and dreaming. I could spend my life in this sweet surrender. I could stay lost in this moment forever. Every moment spent with you is a moment I treasure!" Then Olive, Sydney, and Sophia all began to sing together, "Don't wanna close my eyes. I don't wanna fall asleep 'cause I'd miss you baby, and I don't want to miss a thing. 'Cause even when I dream of you: the sweetest dream will never do. I'd still miss you baby, and I don't want to miss a thing." Then Olive put her arms around a nearby tree pretending it was Emmy as she sang, "I don't want to miss one smile. I don't want to miss one kiss. I just want to be with you right here with you, just like this. I just want to hold you close. I feel your heart so close to mine. And just stay here in this moment for all the rest of time. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, YAAAAYYAH!" Then nearby, Leo poked his head out of sleeping bag and yelled, "HEY! Some of us trying to sleep here! Can you keep it down!?" Then Olive said, "Oh. Sorry." Then Leo said, "Oh, and by the way... don't steal any of my catch phrases. You got that!? YAYAH!"

The next day in the morning Emmy stood at the top of the dark tower standing still as she looked out at the rising sun and sighed. Sheriff Virmani then stepped into the room from the nearby door and then said, "It is time Maid Emmy." Emmy then turned to look at Sheriff Virmani as she said, "Be prepared evil sheriff. For my love shall rescue me." Then a smiling Sheriff Virmani said, "Oh, I'm betting on it. I know how much she loves you... especially from all of the heartfelt comments you write to each other on your Instagram posts. Most people just look at the pics, but I read the long messages you publicly write to each other, and it's so totally obvious you two are a thing. Plus I've seen the hidden videos of you two laying in bed together. So did you two do the deed on your 16th birthday or was it sooner?" Emmy looking really creeped out said, "Umm..." Then Sheriff Virmani said, "You know what, you can tell me all the details as we walk you to the gallows. Lets go."

Olive, Sydney, Sophia, Max, Leo, and Alisha sneaked in through the back door of a castle. As Sophia led the group she said, "Follow me. Maid Emmy should be in this room ahead." Then Olive ran ahead of Sophia and opened a door as she said, "Emmy, I'm here!" Then Olive saw before her was just an empty room as the rest of the group entered. A confused looking Olive then said, "Where is she? Sophia, you said Emmy would be here." Then Sophia locked the door behind her and took out a sword as she said, "Actually... a trap awaits you!" A confused looking Olive then said, "Sophia, what's going on?" Then Sophia pointed her sword at the group as she said, "What's going on is I'm going to hand you to the Sheriff and get my reward." Then Max said, "But Sophia, this is so out of character for you." Then an angry Sophia said, "What do you all really know about my character!? That I was the first of the Amigas to get my period? What else!? People knew very little about my character and back story back when we were on the channel. But now it's time for me to finally take center stage. Soon the whole world will view me as a central character, and everyone will know my first and last name!" Then a confused looking Sydney said, "Wait a minute Sophia... you have a last name!?" Then an annoyed looking Sophia said, "Of course I do. It just kept always being conveniently left out of any conversation we had. But not anymore! Soon the entire world will know my full name is Sophia..." Then Alisha sneaked behind Sophia and knocked her out with a club. A wide eyed and surprised Max said, "Whoa. Alisha! When did you learn how to fight like that!?" Then Alisha said, "Well we did establish previously that I'm smart and skilled enough to be a singer, dancer, scientist, roller bladder, and a doctor. So why not throw being a fighter in there as well?" Then Max said, "Hey. Cool with me. In fact seeing you dominate Sophia there was kind of hot. Mind dominating me tonight?" Then Olive said, "Guys, lets focus. We gotta save Emmy. Lets move and find her." Then Leo yelled, "Yayah! That's what I'm talkin bout!"

Emmy was being shoved by prison guards towards a set of gallows as Queen Judy stood near them with an evil smile. As Emmy was forced to stand near the gallows, Queen Judy said, "For defying my laws and for having relations with the outlaw Olive Hood, I hereby sentence Maid Emmy to..." Then everyone heard Olive yell, "...BE SAVED BY HER LOVER!" Then from far away on top of several crates, Olive appeared with her bow and arrows already in hand. Olive immediately shot several arrows, hitting several of the guards near Emmy. As several more guards ran onto the scene, from nearby: Sydney, Max, Alisha, and Leo suddenly got in their way. Alisha got out a club and began to hit several of the guards knocking them away. Sydney and Max both got out their own sets of bows and arrows, and began to fire arrows at many of the guards. Meanwhile Leo got out of his boom box, turned up the bass, put the boom box on the ground, and then the ground began to shake causing several guards to fall down. A happy Leo then yelled, "YAYAH! That's what I'm talkin' bout!"

Nearby Olive and Emmy ran to each other, hugged one another, and briefly kissed the other. Suddenly more guards appeared with swords as Olive said, "Ah! Quick my love. Lets take cover nearby!" The two young women then ran behind some crates, as Olive said, "Okay Emmy. It's up to you to save us now." Then Emmy said, "What are you talking about Olive!? I'm not super strong, skilled, or resourceful like you and everyone else is! There's no way I can help save the day." Then Olive said, "Of course you can Emmy. Because none of this is real!" A confused looking Emmy said, "Say what!?" With a smile on her face, Olive said, "Emmy, this is a really crazy dream you're having. Think about it. Nothing that's been going on here really makes any sense. This is all just an intense dream you're having. However... it's also a dream you don't want to wake up from." A puzzled Emmy then said, "I don't get it. If this is all a dream, why wouldn't I want to wake up from it?" Olive then put a hand a hand on Emmy's shoulder and said, "Because of what you experienced when you were last awake. You were attacked, harmed, and humiliated for the whole world to see by terrible people. You saw how ugly and awful the world truly is up close. So when you fell asleep, your mind drifted into a world so far removed from reality. A reality where everything is simpler and sillier, and you can depend on me and others to rescue you from harm."

Emmy sighed and said, "Well that does make sense. I've been shunned and attacked by so many over the years... it just makes me feel so weak." Then Olive put both of her hands on Emmy's shoulders and said, "Or maybe those situations proved how strong you are. Many other people when they face just a fraction of the adversity you've faced would go and hide. You've always continued to move forward helping others. You're never been weak Emmy. You're strong. Strong beyond measure. You can view all your hardships as something that held you back, or you can view all your hardships as something that played a part in making you a stronger person. No, scratch that. You can view those hardships as something that played a part in making you become a strong hero; a hero for yourself, and a hero for so many others." Then Emmy said, "Wow. Thank you Olive... or Dream Olive I guess I should call you." Then Olive said, "Now come on Emmy. Lets finish this fight." Then a confused Emmy said, "But if this is all a dream, then why don't I just wake up now?" Then Olive smiled as she said, "Because this story needs one epic climax. Now give us one!"

Emmy smirked as she stepped on top of the crates and looked at all of her evil enemies running at her. Then Emmy held up a golden pendant and yelled, "Moon Prism Power!" Then in a flash of light: Emmy suddenly appeared in a mini-skirt, tiara, and bright sailor shirt. Emmy then took a pose and yelled, "In the name of the moon, I will punish you!" Then Emmy threw her magic tiara and knocked many of her enemies out. Then Emmy kicked and punched the rest of her enemies to the ground, and then took a battle pose as she said, "That's right. Fighting evil by moon light, and winning love by day light! Never running from a real fight. I am the one called Emmy Moon! I am the one! Emmy Moon!"

An adult Emmy slowly opened up her eyes in a hospital bed as she saw her wife Olive and her son Barry sitting beside her. Olive began to tear up as she said, "You're awake. Thank God!" A confused looking Emmy then said, "How long was I out?" Barry then said, "Almost two days. You really worried us mom." As Olive held Emmy's hand she said, "After all you've been through recently babe, I... I was worried you had given up." Then Emmy said, "I... I was ready to give up. But then I was reminded through a dream I had that even though I'll always have you and our friends and family to support me and strengthen me... I've always had enough strength of my own to keep on moving too... and I plan to keep doing that for as long as I can." Then a smiling Olive said, "That must've been a pretty profound dream you had then." Then suddenly a freaked out looking Emmy said, "Oh, it was actually really weird. We were all teenagers again, and so were Sydney's parents, and you were like Robin Hood, and we were singing old rock songs, and it made freaking no sense! That had to be the weirdest thing EVER, and if it wasn't created by my subconscious, then someone clearly needs to ask whoever put that dream reality into my head: WHAT THE HECK WERE THEY THINKING!?"
