Prologue - "Gray" Trailer

"What do idiots think you're doing?! Get that hedgehog, NOW!"

In unison, multiple White Fang grunts activated their duel disks and summoned their monsters. [Ancient Gears], [Lunalights], [Predaplants] and [Raidraptors] were summoned, taking physical form through a combination of both Hard Light Dust and their user's aura. The Duel Monsters immediately went on the attack, slicing, biting, and blasting everything in their way.

Their target appeared to be a human, despite being called a hedgehog earlier. He narrowly dodged the flames of an [Ancient Gear Hunting Hound], leaping from one container filled with dust to the next. While the low-leveled [Predaplants] and [Ancient Gears] had trouble following him, the [Lunalights] followed with ease, and [Raidraptors] flew over the containers, relentlessly continuing their assault.

One [Raidraptor - Sharp Lanius], a red mechanical bird with a sharp beak and claws, locked eyes with the target. The bird shrieked, giving out a heartbroken cry. Then, it dived, intending to rend its opponent alive. That is, until it saw the smirk on the target's face.

"Reverse card open! [Mirror Force]!" A force field had appeared in front of the target, and [Sharp Lanius] slammed beak-first into the shield. The monster let out a strangled cry as it burst into millions of tiny pieces. The faunus's smirk fell, and he let out a melancholy sigh. "Sorry about that, old pal."

Behind the faunus, a young man with blond hair, blue eyes, and white robes with red and blue trimmings landed next to him. The faunus' smile returned, though it left after a few brief seconds. "[Loptr], you found us a way out?" The blonde man nodded, and gestured for his master to follow.

Together, the two sneaked past White Fang members and Duel Monsters, occasionally taking out a few that were weak enough for [Loptr] to destroy.

The monster led his master to a doorway, with a single person guarding it. The faunus cursued. "Really? This is the only way out?" [Loptr] solemnly nodded, eyeing the red-haired bull faunus. "Alright then. You go get some rest, I'll be sure to let the rest handle this." The blonde monster nodded and smiled, pointing to the faunus' deck while doing so.

The message was clear. No matter what happens, Neun Griseo will always have his deck to back him up.

Neun smiled, and removed [Loptr] from the card reader, causing the monster to vanish in a sparkle of light. He put the card back into the deck and shuffled. Neun could feel his heart beating rapidly. "If gods really are a thing, then please… Do not let me brick on this first turn." Stepping out of the shadows, he calmly walked over to his opponent, Adam Taurus.

"Hey, hey! Adam, buddy! How ya doing today?" The bull faunus whipped out his hand, wrapping a Duel Anchor on Neun's right wrist. The hedgehog faunus blinked for a moment, and then muttered "Rude."

Adam yanked on the Anchor, pulling the ex-White Fang member closer. "Really?" Neun asked, narrowing his eyes. "That's how you're gonna treat an old friend?" Adam scowled, pulling the Anchor even harder.

"Friend? After what you've done to me, to our cause, you have the nerve to call me friend!?" Adam shouted in anger. The hair on Neun's head bristled.

"What? You mean stopping you from killing off an innocent person?" Neun took a few deep breaths, trying to get his emotions under control.

In the back of his mind, he can hear No. 9 whispering, begging him to let loose and wreak havoc.

"As long as the Schnee Dust Company exists, our people will never find peace! Future generations will be forced into slavery, left to be starved and branded! Unless we destroy them– ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING!?"

Neun yawned into his palm, uninterested in Adam's speech. "You know, I count the number of times you've said those exact words with my hands," Neun said, giving the White Fang leader a lazy smile. "I'm exactly interested in your villain monologue, about how humans are 'corrupt,' 'worse than grimm,' bleh blah blah…"

Neun reached up and activated his Duel Disk. The device let out a warm blue glow, and the Card Readers snapped into place, forming a blade in front of the hedgehog. "Let's just get this show on the road, old friend," Neun said, contempt bleeding from his voice.

Adam's vision began turning red. "You BASTARD!" He activated his Duel Disk, "Wilt," and both opponents, friends turned enemies, drew their starting hands. Adam shouted with vigor, while Neun drawled out, "DUEL!"

Now Playing… Yubel's Theme (Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links)

"I'll start things off," Neun announced, "by activating the field spell [Generaider Boss Stage]! Now, whenever you draw or add a card from your deck, I'm allowed to special summon a [Generaider] monster from my hand!" Behind Neun, a symbol with seven circles inside emerged, glowing bright blue. "Next, I summon [Aleister the Invoker], and his effect lets me add [Invocation] from my deck to my hand on summon, which I'll activate right now! I banish the [Aleister] on my field and send [Trias Hierarchia] from my hand to the graveyard in order to Fusion Summon [Invoked Mechaba]!"

A magician wearing white robes and gold robes emerged on Neun's side of the field, and raised his large staff in the air. Behind him, a magic circle with ancient writing shimmered into existence, and both it and a giant mechanical angel with six wings were absorbed. A monster made of sleek metal emerged; a giant bull-like machine that was connected to a chariot instead of having hind legs, and a titanium armored warrior with a great shield and a serrated blade riding it.

Once per turn, when a Spell/Trap Card, or monster effect, is activated (Quick Effect): You can send the same type of card (Monster, Spell, or Trap) from your hand to the GY; negate the activation, and if you do, banish that card.

The chariot driver and bulls roared, while Neun's knees buckled. Adam took a step back, but he quickly recollected himself and glared at his ex-partner. "You really believe you can win with your [Generaiders]? Summoning that monsters will drain your aura before you can declare an attack. It's the definition of stupidity!" Adam snarled.

Neun stood straight up, his lips curling upwards in a small, arrogant smile. "Yeah, I know. That's why I'm going to beat you before that happens. I add [Aleister] to my hand in order to shuffle [Invocation] back into my deck. Then, I set two cards face down and end my turn."

"Fine then! I draw!" Adam snarled.

Neun smiled. "That means I get to activate [Boss Stage's] effect! I get to summon a [Generaider] monster from my deck!" Reaching into his deck, he grabbed his ace and slammed onto the card reader.

"Appear, Lord of Storms and King of the Nine Worlds! Eliminate all who stand in your way, and become the rightful ruler of the cosmos!"

"My very soul! I special summon [Harr, Generaider Boss of Storms]!"

The highest circle on [Boss Stage] lit up, and storm clouds began gathering around it. A giant warlock descended, wearing black battle armor and a long cloak made of shadows, and two long, red horns. Its face was hidden in the shadows of its helmet, the glow of a single red eye was the only visible feature. It carried a large trident with red and gold points, emitting bolts of lightning as it descended. The warlock raised its weapon, and slammed it into the ground, the storm clouds disappearing and the arena becoming eerily quiet.

[Harr, Generaider Boss of Storms]

[Spellcaster/Effect]

[3000 ATK/3000 DEF]

You can only control 1 "Harr, Generaider Boss of Storms." Once per turn, if your opponent adds a card(s) from their deck to their hand, except during the Draw Phase (Quick Effect): You can make your opponent send 1 monster from their hand or field to the GY (their choice). When a card or effect is activated (Quick Effect): you can tribute 2 "Generaider" and/or Spellcaster monsters, negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that card. You can only use each effect of "Harr, Generaider Boss of Storms" once per turn.

"And there's more! Since I Special Summoned [Harr] during your turn, [Boss Stage] lets me summon as many [Generaider Tokens] as possible!" Once more, The symbol behind Neun started glowing, and four beings made of silver rings appeared, and floated next [Harr]. Their blue eyes boring into Adam's, each fairy sharing the same look of disgust.

Neun started coughing into his fist, wiping the blood on his pants. Two turns into the duel, his aura was already in the yellow.

Nice! All that training really paid off. If he was playing this deck three years ago, he would have already passed out from exhaustion.

Unlike most decks, [Generaiders] want their field to be completely full. The amount of monsters summoned per turn in addition to the high-leveled monsters themselves and their tendency to brick often make them an incredibly difficult deck to use effectively. Most people usually end up in the infirmary from aura exhaustion when they activate the field spell.

While the deck technically has multiple variations that does not contain [Boss Stage] or only use one or two [Generaider] monsters, their win-lose ratio almost always leans towards the latter. Despite [Harr] and [Utgarda] being powerful monsters on their own, they work best when they are paired up with other members of the [Generaider] archetype.

Adam scoffed at the appearance of the angels. "You really think glorified jewelry can stop me? I play [Gameciel, the Sea Turtle Kaiju] by tributing [Harr]!" Neun remained unfazed as Adam threw him the card. He removed his best monster from the card reader, and replaced it with one Adam tossed, using his own aura to play his opponent's card. On the field, [Harr] disappeared in a shower of light, and what took his spot was a giant turtle with gray-blue scales and green eyes.

"Neun, I've played against you for years! We've studied our play styles, picked it apart, and forced ourselves to improve! I will not– I refuse to lose to a traitor such as yourself! You will fall to me, and you will pay for your crimes against the White Fang!"

Neun scowled. "Keep telling yourself that. You've only won because I keep bricking. I activate [Trias Hierarchia's] effect from my graveyard! I tribute three of my [Generaider Tokens] in order to bring it back! Then, I activate [Call of the Haunted] to revive [Harr]!"

The mechanical angel used in [Mechaba's] fusion appeared from black portal, alongside the boss monster of the [Generaider] archetype.

Neun started sweating, his breathing became ragged and joints were becoming sore. The duel disk on his arm was feeling way too heavy. Even for the most experienced and powerful duelists, having four monsters over level eight on the field was simply too much for one person to handle. Begrudgingly, Neun thanked the Number card locked away in his extra deck.

"Furthermore, since I used three Fairies to summon [Hierarchia], I get to draw two cards," Neun breathed out. He looked at the aura meter on his duel disk, and cringed when he read 57%.

"Now then, I believe it's still your Main Phase 1?" Neun mocked.

Adam's scowl turned fierce. "I activate [Infinite Impermanence]!"

"I activate [Mechaba's] effect! I send [Generaider Boss Room] to the GY to negate [Impermanence]!" The giant sword began glowing, and [Mechaba] raised it into the air. It pointed its sword to the aquatic forcefield and unleashed a giant beam of light at it.

"Fine by me! I activate [Pot of Desires]! I banish up the top ten cards of my deck to draw two cards!"

"[Harr's] second effect activates! Since you drew a card, I can make you discard one monster from your hand or field!" Adam smiled.

"Unfortunately for you, I don't have monsters in hand!" The bull faunus gloated. "You of all people should know about how my deck works!" Neun just scowled. Oh well, it was worth a shot.

Next, I activate [Pot of Duality]! I excavate the top three cards in my deck, and add one of them to my hand, the cost being unable to special summon any monsters for the rest of the turn!"

"I activate [Harr's] first effect! By tributing both it and my last [Generaider Token], I can negate and destroy [Pot of Duality]!" The giant warlock raised his trident and slammed it into the ground, creating a giant whirlwind in the middle of the field. When it dissipated, [Harr], the token, and [Pot of Duality] had disappeared.

"So much effort, and yet it was all for nothing!" Adam roared. "I activate [Pot of Greed] to draw two cards. Then I set the Pendulum monster [Guiding Ariadne] on the Pendulum Scale!" Adam slipped the card into the right-most spell/trap zone. On the field, a blue pillar of light appeared, and a white floating being with sharp claws and a body made of what looks like ceramic.

"While [Guiding Ariadne] is on my side of the field, I do not have to pay life points or discard cards in order to activate counter traps. Next, I activate the [The Sanctum of Parshath]! While it's on the field, it's name becomes [The Sanctuary in the Sky]! Then, I set two cards face-down, and end my turn!" Adam declared, glaring at Neun behind his mask.

"All right then… My turn, I draw!" Neun announced, nearly falling to the ground, ignoring Adam's smirk as he picked himself back up. He groaned, mainly because he didn't draw [Royal Decree], a card that he specifically owned a playset of solely because of Adam.

"I enter the battle phase! [Gamaciel, the Sea Turtle Kaiju] attacks you directly!" Neun ordered. The giant blue turtle howled and opened its mouth, ready to blast a beam of energy at its owner.

"I activate the trap card [Drowning Mirror Force]! I send all face-up attack position monsters you control back into your deck. The hedgehog faunus groaned.

"I activate the effect of [Invoked Mechaba]! By sending [Generaider Boss Bite] from my hand to the GY, I can negate and banish [Drowning Mirror Force]!" Neun announced. The giant sword began glowing, and [Mechaba] raised it into the air. It pointed its sword to the aquatic forcefield and unleashed a giant beam of light at it.

"I chain [Rebirth of Parshath] to [Mechaba's] effect! By revealing [Divine Punishment] from my hand, I can negate and destroy it! And then, I can special summon a [Parshath] monster from my deck or extra deck! I bring forth the mighty avenger; the angel that will cause the end of humanity! Appear, [Celestial Knightlord Parshath]!"

A centaur made of blinding white class appeared, the lower equine body having 4 pairs of legs that galloped across the sky. It wore blue and gold armor, and had a pair of large, feathered wings that allowed it to glide gently to ground. The winged centaur brandished its sword at Neun as a heavenly sound was emitted from its body.

Discard 1 card; add 1 "The Sanctuary in the Sky," or 1 card that specifically lists "The Sanctuary in the Sky" in its text, from your deck to your hand, or, if "The Sanctuary in the Sky" is on the field, you can add 1 Fairy monster instead. If another face-up Fairy monster you control is sent to the GY (except during the Damage Step): You can banish 1 Fairy monster from your GY; Special Summon 1 Fairy monster from your hand whose Level is higher than that banished monster's. You can only use each effect of "Celestial Knightlord Parshath" once per turn.

The centaur brandished its shield and fired a beam of energy at [Mechaba], deatomizing the monster. Meanwhile, the aquatic forcefield slammed into [Hierarchia] and [Gamaciel], causing the trio of large monsters to disappear from the field and back into their respective owner's decks. This left Adam with only [Ariadne] and [Sanctum] on the field, while Neun's was completely empty. Not for long, however.

"I summon [Aleister the Invoker], and use his effect to add [Invocation] to my hand! Then I banish [Aleister] from my field and [Mechaba] from my GY to fusion summon [Invoked Augoeides]!" The white magician returned to the field once more, and raised his staff and created another vortex. What came out of it was a large, humanoid creature covered in silver wrappings, the insides revealing light blue runic symbols.

"I shuffle [Invocation] back into my deck to get [Aleister] back. Then, I activate [Cup of Ace]! If the coin lands on heads, I draw two cards. If it's tails, you draw two," Neun muttered, coughing behind fist. In between the two faunus, a coin with [Blue-Eyes] on one side and [Red-Eyes] on the other flew into the air and landed with a thud. Unfortunately, it landed on Heads, meaning that Neun couldn't trigger [Boss Stage's] effect. "I set one card face-down, and end my turn.

"[Boss Stage's] effect! I can summon a [Generaider] from my deck! I special summon [Dovelgus, Generaider Boss of Iron]! Then, I can special summon as many [Generaider Tokens] as possible; a grand total of four tokens!" Again, another set of jeweled angels came down, floating beside a giant mecha holding onto a large warhammer. The faces on its body, arms, and legs all grinning maniacally as it glared at the winged centaur.

"[Augoeides] effect activates! Since a monster was special summoned, I'm allowed to destroy one monster you control! Say goodbye to [Celestial Knightlord Parshath]!" The runic symbols on [Augoeides] began glowing as it waved its hands at the winged centaur, creating a wave of destruction that annihilated the monster on his field. Adam growled and looked at the card he drew.

"I summon [Meltiel, the Sage of the Sky]!" Adam placed, knowing full well that Neun is about to pop the hell off.

"I activate [Dovelgus'] special ability!" Neun started, beginning his combo. "I tribute both it and the [Token] on the far right to special summon two [Generaider] monsters from my hand! Appear, [Loptr, Shadow of the Generaider Bosses], and [Utgarda, Generaider Boss Delusions]!" The eyes all over the mecha's body started glowing as the robot itself slammed its giant hammer into the ground, creating a glowing circle over both itself and [Token]. They disappeared in a bright shower of light, and were replaced by two of Neun's best monsters.

The first monster was a young man about the size of a [Generaider Token], wearing ornate white robes with red and blue outlines, blonde hair with a pink ahoge and piercing blue eyes with a chaotic, mischievous smirk.

And floating behind Neun, a giant castle ascended from the ground, made of stark white marble and ornate gold carvings, with large red rubies glowing in the center of the monster's many, many towers. The eyes on the helmet glowed menacingly, and it made a low groan, sounding somewhat like a whale.

[2200 ATK/2700 DEF]

You can only control 1 "Utgarda, Generaider Boss of Delusion." (Quick Effect): You can Tribute 2 "Generaider" monsters and/or Rock monsters, then target 1 card on the field; banish it. You can only use this effect of "Utgarda, Generaider Boss of Delusion" once per turn.

"I activate [Loptr's] special ability! I tribute the [Token] on the far-right, in order to special summon a [Generaider] monster from my deck! Return, once more, The King of the Nine Worlds! [Harr, Generaider Boss of Storms]!" The dark cloaked warlock returned once more to the field, slamming its trident into the ground in order to assert its authority, and silencing the room.

Adam inhaled sharply, watching in both awe and horror at Neun's field. For as much shit as he gives Neun's deck and his play style, but when it is set up correctly, it might as well be over for anybody playing against him. His above average Aura levels has always let him swarm the field, when other opponents would faint from Aura Exhaustion just trying to special summon more than 5 monsters in a single turn.

Adam cannot deny that it makes him envious from time to time.

However, even with Neun's large amount of Aura, using this deck always leaves him on his last few legs.

"Since it's your turn, [Loptr] also increases the attack of all [Generaiders] on the field," Neun muttered in a raspy voice, a shimmering gray outline flickering in and out of existence around him.

"I wonder, can you even withstand an attack?" Adam asks, placing his hands behind his back. "Do you even have the strength to activate [Utgarda's], or even [Harr's] effect. For all I know, I can simply deal you 100 points of effect damage, and you could keel over from exhaustion!" Neun didn't say anything, trying to conserve as much Aura as he can so that he can at least draw next turn.

Returning back to his hand, Adam growled. He only had [Divine Punishment] left, and the second he set it, Neun would most likely banish it on the spot, or maybe even [Sanctum], which needs to be on the field for [Punishment] to activate. On paper, he can even summon [Trias Hierarchia], but he would most pass out from exhaustion. "I set one card," Adam announced.

"[Utgarda's] ability. I banish two [Tokens]... and banish that set card," Neun muttered. The two jeweled fairies flew into the air and were absorbed into the castle's helmet. Afterwards, the red gems that adorned the towers began glowing, firing a giant laser at the set card, causing it to disappear from existence.

Adam peered at Neun's Duel Disk, reading the Aura gauge just under the deck slot.

9% left. Adam gave him a cruel smile, and clicked a button on his Duel Disk.

"I end my turn," The bull faunus sneered as Neun fell to his knees, coughing out a glob of blood from his mouth.

"I… draw…" Neun began, nearling stumbling to the floor. For a few moments, Neun stood there, his arms slack as he breathed heavily. Adam smiled to himself. In the corner of his eyes, he can see that more members of the White Fang had managed to find their way over to them, their monsters at the ready.

And then Neun shouted at the top of his lungs.

The hedgehog faunus was encased in a golden aura that forced the White Fang grunts away, and even visibly shocked his own monsters. As the shouting stopped and the aura dissipated, Neun snapped his head over to Adam, with the Number 9 having appeared over his right cheek.

"I switch [Invoked Augoeides] and [Utgarda, Generaider Boss of Delusions] to attack position, and enter the battle phase!" Neun shouted, shocking everybody that was watching the duel. "The first battle! [Invoked Augoeides] attacks [Meltiel]!" The giant Fairy raised its arm into the air and threw a giant ball of magical energy at [Meltiel], destroying the creature and sending its shattered remains towards Adam, who grunted as the force of the blow knocked him back and almost onto his knees.

Climax Theme #7 - Fade Out

As Adam went flying out of the warehouse, the Duel Anchor that was attached to Neun disappeared. At the same time, the White Fang grunts summoned their monsters and launched an all out attack at the traitorous hedgehog. However, before any of them could reach him, [Harr] raised its staff in the air, creating a giant whirlwind that blew all of them away. When the dust settled, only [Loptr] remained. He gave the White Fang a shit-eating grin and bowed, disappearing shower of particles.

"Okay… I summon… [Utgarda, Generaider Boss of Delusions]?" A voice spoke, belonging to a young, brown-haired girl. She had a necklace in the shape of the [Generaider Boss Stage's] symbol. The girl in the red dress sitting across her frowned, and picked up the card she placed down.

"You can't do that. [Utgarda] is Level 9, so you need to sacrifice two monsters to summon it," She said, pointing an accusatory finger at the other girl.

"But I have [Boss Stage] in my hand!" The brunette said, showing the girl in the red dress her entire hand in the process.

"Oh… I guess that makes sense." In reality, they had no idea what they were doing. They just saw the grown-ups doing some cool stuff on the TV, and wanted to copy it themselves.

"I can attack, even if it's defense mode, right?" The brunette child asked.

"Maybe?" The other girl replied. "Its defense points are higher than its attack points, so I guess it can." The brunette smiled and picked up the card, ready to declare an attack. As she opened her mouth, a small drop of water fell on her nose, causing her to stop and look up at the sky. Slowly, raindrops fell from the clouds and quickly picked up in intensity.

"The cards!" The girl in the red dress cried, quickly grabbing her deck and stuffing it in her pockets. The girl with the [Boss Stage] necklace panicked and stuffed all her cards in her hands and moving them close to her chest to protect them.

"Sorry Nowi! I've gotta go back now! See you tomorrow?" The girl in the red dress asked.

"Yeah, tomorrow!" Nowi replied, waving one hand and nearly dropping [Hela, Generaider Boss of Doom]. She ran down the city streets, occasionally jaywalking just to cut off a few seconds. She didn't really have to, but she felt like it. Sort of like Duel Monsters. She doesn't have to play [Generaiders]–everybody says their bricky and falls apart the second they meet any form of negation–but she thinks they're fun.

But as she ran, she heard a sniffling sound. Somebody was crying. Confused, Nowi looked around, peering into a darkened alley way. The crying was coming from inside. Curious rather than cautious, Nowi entered, still clutching onto her cards.

Sitting between a trash can and a dumpster, with a piece of cardboard over his body, hugging his knees to chest to make himself smaller.

Nowi blinked. She stepped forward, and accidentally stepped on an aluminum can. The boy reacted.

It looked like his brown hair puffed up, or more accurately stiffened, shredding the cardboard over his head to pieces. Nowi saw him lift his head ever so slightly, and locked eyes with the boy.

They were blazing with hatred and anger. She felt that if she so much as clenched her fist, he would leap up and attack. Probably with a headbutt, considering how sharp his hair was.

But she wasn't scared. She grabbed one of the cards in her deck and looked at it. Then, she flipped it and presented it to the boy with the sharp hair.

"Hi," Nowi said softly. "Can you play [Duel Monsters]?"

She showed him the artwork for [Harr, Generaider Boss of Storms].

Tukson was about to close up shop for the night. Today was a rather slow day, not that he minded. He appreciated the quietness at this time of day, it gives him time to think. He got from his seat and walked across rows of his bookshelves and grabbed one at random.

He walked back to his seat and started reading. Nearly three pages in, Tukson heard the bell ringing as the door opened. Tukson raised an eyebrow, but didn't look up from his book.

"We're closing in 5 minutes," Tukson told the new person. He was about to say something else, but the new voice spoke before he could.

"Don't worry about it. I'll get out of your hair in a few minutes." The voice was weak and frail, completely exhausted and sounding like he just came from a marathon. Even more concerning, it sounded like something was bubbling in his mouth, and dripping onto the floor.

Tukson looked up, slightly panicked, but found nothing. He rose from his seat and started looking around his shop, looking for the person who entered his shop. Not even a few seconds later, he heard loud coughing and retching coming from the corner of the toom. Tukson moved to the back of his shop, finding a young man wearing the White Fang's robes and a Duel Disk strapped to his arm.

"Sooo… It might be more than a few minutes," The brown haired boy laughed awkwardly. He coughed out what looks to be another gallon of stomach fluid and blood, and collapses face first on the floor. A necklace in the shape of [Generaider Boss Stage's] sigil fell to Tuksun's feet, slightly blackened and scratched up.

Neun first joined the White Fang when he was twelve years old. He didn't join any missions until he turned fifteen, where he often acted as a distraction for the amount of negates he can summon, and the sheer size of his [Generaiders]. While he believed whole-heartedly in the White Fangs methods, he broke away from the group when the White Fang themselves took something important from him.

Even though he has access [Number 9: Canopy Star - Dyson Sphere] and [Jormungandr, Generaider Boss of Eternity], his ace monster will always be [Harr, Generaider Boss of Storms].

*Neun's name is derived from the German word for nine (Neun) and the Latin word for gray (Griseo). The inspiration for his character is Romeo from Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.

*The Number cards will be going by their OCG names. [King of Wishes - Hope] sounds a hell of lot cooler than [Utopia]. Also, Numbers with lackluster abilities will be getting retrains that will make them slightly more viable in Master Rule 5's meta game, in addition to each Number getting two new abilities that they all inherently have. They will be revealed at a later date.

Adam is the ruthless leader of the White Fang's Vale Branch, having earned the moniker "Blood-Soaked Bull" for his strength and mercilessness. Ironically, he plays a deck that relies heavily on Counter Traps, which makes him less effective in one-on-one combat. He is fueled by vengeance, desiring to destroy the SDC and the Schnee Family, brick by brick, for how they humiliated him, and treated him like an animal.

On his quest of spite and hatred, the false spirit of justice [Celestial Knightlord Parshath] will stay by his side, for better or worse. But, there are rumors that he has a far terrifying monster hidden inside his deck...

*Because of the way Aura is used to summon monsters, [Kaijus], more specifically [Gamaciel],have become a meta staple. Everybody will have at least one to two copies of it or, more rarely, [Lava Golem]. Only dedicated [Kaiju] decks will have multiple playsets [Kaijus] in them.

Question of the Chapter (QOTC):

Do you think Neun will summon [Very Fun Dragon] at any point in the story, if he even owns a copy of it? If so, who will be the first person he uses it on?
