Okay guys, so I'm getting back to my roots with this story. For those of you who have been with me from the beginning. You'll know I did parody works with Jaune getting stronger in different ways. So I wanted to do something similar to that.
But instead I did it with a superhero.
Lets see how many of you get it.
Jaune was depressed. He had just lost a match to Cardin again. He knew improvement was going to be slow ever since he started training with Pyrrha, but he didn't realize he would still be losing against Cardin so easily. He may have lasted longer and longer each time, but he was so sick of losing! He just wanted to win at least once! Pyrrha would compliment him every single time because he was getting better, but it wasn't enough! He was determined to get some extra training in, the only issue was all the training centers were closed this time of night. So he was forced to jog around the campus. He figured if his stamina could get better than maybe he wouldn't get so winded when holding back Cardin's heavy mace.
He finished a jog and bent over huffing and puffing. He sat down and tried to recover as he looked up in the sky. He frowned as he looked up at the broken moon, almost like it was a representation as to how he felt. Broken inside. He sighed deeply as he ran his hand through his hair. He knew he had to be patient with his progress but he was impatient and wanted results as fast as he could.
There had to be a way he could have an ace in the hole right?
CR CRACK!
Jaune heard a noise. He looked over and saw that one of the mountains he was jogging to had cracked open and revealed a cave.
"...Okay this seems too conveniant..." He said to himself as he stood up and walked over to the cave.
Normally he would have an aversion to caves ever since the deathstalker incident, but he didn't think there would be a deathstalker nest this close to campus. So he was going to take a risk and go inside. Besides, even if he found nothing, he could at least say he did something different today. He held his scroll out in front of him using it like a flashlight like he was a peasant back in the 1800s.
"This is so stupid, why did I decide to do this?" Jaune had no idea what he was doing.
He saw a random cave and he just decided to walk in? What kind of knuckle dragging inbred retard did that? He wouldn't be surprised if there was a guy in a white windowless van waiting to bribe him with free candy at the end of this cave!
Ugh, he felt so stupid!
There was literally no point to him walking into this stupid ca-
CRA CRACK!
Oh shit.
He looked to see that the cave floor was crumbling.
"Oh shi-" He was cut off as the floor gave away.
"AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Jaune had never regretted something so much in his life.
At this point you were probably wondering what was going to happen now. Well, if Jaune was anyone else. He probably would fall to his death being impaled on spikes. But because Jaune was lucky, he just faceplanted into the floor of the lower level of the cave.
"I...Hate...MY...LIFE!" Jaune yelled into the floor as he had never felt so unlucky in his life.
First he loses his match with Cardin, then he got all pouty and went for a jog, and now he had been thoroughly introduced to the floor. His knife had gone from bad to worse in less than five minutes.
"Ugh, screw this I'm going back to the ro-" He pulled his face out of the ground.
And then he was shocked. All around him was a control room. There was tables, computer consoles, and everything you would expect to see out of a comic book. Jaune quickly forgot all about his earlier issues and looked around fascinated.
"Holy crap, I can't believe this!" This was literally right out of X ray and vav!
But what was this doing here? Was this a secret beacon classroom? He looked around some more. No, that wasn't possible. For one thing, the machines looked nothing like Beacons systems, this whole place was covered in dust, and it looked like it had been sealed off for years. But the most tell tale sign was the keyboards. Beacon Academy used holographic displays. Keyboards such as the ones he saw attached to the computers hadn't been manufactured for centuries! What kind of cave had he stumbled across?
He walked around a bit more. Despite the fact this was obviously a creepy room in a cave, he was looking for a light switch. After all, with what he had found, it wouldn't be crazy to assume.
CLICK
Dang that was conveniant. He found a light switch, but the lights slowly flicker to life. But that wasn't what had his attention. He looked over to a table with two big globes on top of it. They slowly came to life and burst with bright purple light. The light dimmed a bit to reveal a figure.
"Hello, if you're listening to this recording, you have come across my secret lair." The figure said as Jaune looked onwards amazed.
The man was dressed in a simple white shirt and black pants, but he had a muscular build obviously gained by years of physical training, his hair was blonde and his eyes were blue. His eyes had a kindly aura to them, and despite being a hologram, he knew he could trust this man.
"I don't know how long it will have been since you have discovered this place, but I have no doubt it will be long after I am gone." The voice said as he sat down.
"I was a great hero in my day, I fought evil wherever I could find it, and the people loved me for it, but I didn't do it for praise or glory, I did it because it was the right thing to do, but eventually I had to leave." At this another hologram appeared.
"Honey, the kids are waiting for you to say grace!" The second hologram appeared very briefly showing a woman.
"Be right there honey! I just got to do this first!" The man said with a warm tone.
"That right there is why I'm retiring, I have a family to look out for, so I am making this as a failsafe, in hopes that one day someone will stumble across this and continue my legacy." Suddenly the room finished lighting up.
And Jaune saw that the computers had lit up and were going over information long since forgotten.
"In this room, you will find knowledge on my fighting styles, I understand it would take years to get to where I was, but if you look over to the left of this Holographic displayer." Jaune took a quick look over in the direction the man was pointing to.
He saw a weird helmet attached to a series of wires.
"That right there will implant the knowledge of martial arts into your brain. You will know how to perform them perfectly. However, there is a drawback, while you will know how to properly execute techniques as well as be able to correct yourself, you will still need to train physically to be able to perform them. So it will do you no good to have the knowledge if you don't have the strength or agility to back it up." That was disappointing to hear.
But combined with Pyrrha's training and his own training, he was certain he could adjust quickly! So he was happy.
"There is one more thing." The man turned to a locked chest.
"Inside that chest lays my most powerful weapon, if you do indeed decided to take up my mantle and my identity, say yes now or forever hold your peace." Jaune thought it over for a second.
Could he do this? At first he thought it was too good to be true, and maybe he should quit now while he was ahead. But he remembered what he told Pyrrha that night. About how he didn't want to be the idiot getting stuck in a tree. He wanted to be the hero! And here was a golden oppurtunity in front of him! And he was about to say No? Screw that!
"YES!" Jaune gave a loud and thunderous yes as he heard the sound of a chest unlocking.
"If the chest has unlocked, you have said yes." Jaune walked over to the chest and opened it up.
"Henceforth, you will be the hero known as..."
A week later
Pyrrha was worried. They had taken a week off break from school due to a holiday. However Jaune had been acting strange that whole week. After their daily training together and their daily team bonding time, he would say he had to go and do something and sneak away. At first she thought Cardin was bullying him again, but Jaune seemed way too happy. So she let it go and let him go do his thing.
But now it was back to combat class and he was running late. And Goodwitch was picking opponents.
"Cardin Winchester vs..." She paused and almost groaned.
"Jaune Arc." She said as she couldn't help but feel the system was rigged.
How was it that everytime Jaune managed to draw Cardin as his opponent? It didn't make sense.
"Will both fighters please make their way into the arena?" She asked as Cardin instantly jumped down.
But Jaune was nowhere to be found?
"Did Mr. Arc not hear me?" Goodwitch was confused.
Jaune may have been a lot of things but he wasn't a coward, he would always be rushing into the arena ready to prove himself. But he wasn't anywhere to be seen.
"Uh, He's not up here." Yang said as everyone was confused.
"Where is he?" Ruby asked as it wasn't like Jaune to be late.
Ren was thinking he might have stayed up too late reading comic books and fallen asleep in the locker room getting changed. But that couldn't have been hte case.
"Sorry!" Jaune appeared as he was wearing a black trench coat instead of his armor.
"Arc? Aren't you missing something?" Cardin was confused.
Jaune may have been absent minded, but he never forgot his weapons or armor. But now he was missing both.
"Oh don't worry Cardin, I'm trying a new fighting style, I don't think Crocea mors was suited for me." He said as he held up his fists.
But they only saw one. His other arm seemed to be wrapped in some kind of big buff bandage
"Uh, are you okay?" He asked as Jaune nodded.
"Don't worry about it!" Everyone just shrugged.
Maybe Jaune was just giving up?
Cardin immediately charged at the blonde boy. Determined to finish this in one swing. He brought his mace up as he went for a overhead strike. However everyone was soon surprised as Jaune took the hand that was bandaged and blocked with it.
"HI YAH!" Jaune immediately launched a kick to Cardin's chest.
"OOF!" He was blown back by the force of the kick as Jaune had managed to hit him right in the diaphragm.
Everyone was shocked. Did Jaune had some kind of armor underneath his bandaged hand? What was up with that? It did look a lot more bulkier, almost like he was hiding a mace or gauntlet. But if that was the case, why did he have it covered up?
"You're dead!" Cardin was mad now.
Jaune never managed to land a blow this quickly! Now he was going to go nuts! He charged at Jaune again roaring as he got ready to pummel the blond into the ground.
But Teams RWBY and JNPR were shocked at what they saw next. Jaune just kept dodging. Cardin went for a side strike, and Jaune jumped back. He went for an overhead strike and Jaune parried. He tried to thrust into Jaune, and the boy responded by sidestepping and then punching him in the head.
"UGH!" Cardin took another blow as Jaune seemed to effortlessly block his attacks.
"Need a hand?" Jaune said as he grabbed Cardin's mace shaft and bashed him over the head with his covered hand.
"AGHH THATS IT!" Cardin jumped back and put a dust crystal into his mace.
"I'm going to wipe that stupid smirk off your face!" Everyone looked worried.
Cardin's mace was lethal to humans if he used dust with it. And because of that, Glynda had prohibited him to use it in class. But she was too slow to stop him from charging.
"MR. WINCHESTER!" Glynda moved to use her telekinesis. But then something happened.
Jaune unwrapped his bandaged hand.
And Cardin and everyone watching was shocked to see some kind of gauntlet with a barrel on the end of it.
With a steely look in his eyes, Jaune fired.
They heard the sound of a joy buzzer as a small laser beam shot towards Cardin.
Everyone froze, including Cardin.
"Wo ho ho ho." Cardin felt his legs go weak.
Glynda was confused, what kind of weapon was that? It looked like a sci fi weapon.
"OH HO HO HO!" Cardin's shouts got louder as everyone looked over.
They saw him writhing on the floor in pain.
Wait? Why was he giggling?
They saw that Cardin had a big dopey grin on his face as he rubbed his legs together.
"OHHHH IT FEELS SO GOOD!" Cardin yelled as everyone got to see a disturbing sight.
Cardin started to furiously hump the floor as his moans of pleasures got more prominent. He grabbed a hold of his tick mace and started to lick the shaft of it as everyone looked on disturbed.
Glynda couldn't help but be disgusted as she saw the indeceny going on in her classroom.
And yet no one was paying attention to Jaune's weapon, nor to the boy himself.
"its official...no longer am I Jaune Arc, huntsman in training." Jaune thought to himself.
"I...AM...ORGAZMO!"
