Last time on Tales of Tamers of Xilla; The gang was in Trigleth helping Kyle out on a job and taking it easy as they discuss recent events. But that was short live when a pack of Grimm invaded the city. They we confuse as how the Grimm got in as the town guards would have kept them out. They were able to quickly deal with the Grimm until a new one appears. It was a Grimm that could speak call the hound. This Grimm was very dangerous as it faces off with the Gang. It shows to have knowledge of them and a deep hatred of Ludger. It even can use artes that were familiar to them. It was about to killed Ludger until Elle got in the way making the Grimm stop and retreat. Takato was left puzzle by how much this Grimm was familiar to them.

Chapter 148

Knight fall

Normal Pov: Salem lair: Once again the villains were in the middle of a meeting. "Have there been any progress getting my relics?" Salem ask. Watts clears his throat to speak. "Mary Ann have reported no change in the vault security, if I could access the building network, I could find a work around, but I'm lock out and I doubt I can enter the building itself." He said. "Knowing those kids, they have the building on lockdown as soon as they see us." Sinclair said. "Isn't there tunnels we can use to get in?" Daniel said. "There are but they must most likely be guarded, I doubt even minty semblance can fool the guard drones." Sinclair said. "And Parallelmon won't be able to get in, since they equip the vault to prevent teleportation." Grimmon said. "I see, what about you Stein?" Salem ask. "Well, my lady, my new sets of battles bots will be ready soon. Once they are we will attack Spiritus." He said. "At least you can finally get out of the lab." Kurata said with a smirk. "Yes, my work has kept me busy, it will be good to get some fresh air." Stein said. "Speaking of work, Kurata how goes the progress with Shatchmon?" Grimmon ask.

"Quite well, we're still working on the right tech to empower him. But have3 no fear we will succeed." Kurata said. He then frowns. "We must now that accursed brat Marcus Damon have appear." He said with a low growl. "You must really hate this Marcus guy?" Mercury said. Kurata adjusts his glasses. "I do, he cost me much trouble in my old world, but now I get to pay him back in full." He said. 'Then you're in luck for we have several mean to do so." Grimmon said. The door opens as Omnimon Zwart enter the room. He kneels to them. "You call for me master?" He ask. "Yes, I did, my friend it time for you to show the Tamers who is the true Omnimon go to Nia knera hollow mount. We'll make sure the Tamers meet you there, if they don't show then destroy the village." Grimmon said. "if it your will so, be it." Zwart said. as he got up and left the room. "Can he prevail?" Cinder ask. The chaos Digimon turn to her. "Zwart is powerful yes, but he has yet to reach his true power until certain conditions have been meet." He said.

"What kinds of conditions?" Hazel ask. Grimmon grin. "That would be telling now, don't worry when they been met you will be quite surprised by the outcome." He said. Takato Pov: It been a couple of days since our run in with the hound. To think we would run into a Grimm like that, it could think, talk and use artes. Artes that we know quite well, what more the hound seem to know us. There more to that thing then we know. Right now, Me, Angela, Jerico, Koga, Henry, Suzy, Futoshi and Drake were in Nia Knera meeting with Mila. We're filling her on what we encounter with the hound. "I see, so this hound creature was capable of using artes similar to my own?" She ask. "No more like exactly, it even fought like you." I said. "How is that even possible?" Koga ask. "My artes are common here in Nia Knera, any of the warrior here can use them. The four enlist a local spirit channeler to teach me a few." Milla said. "But how did this hound know them? Was it someone from the village?" Henry ask. "I know, or so my mother actually does." Angela said as we look at her.

She has a rare look of worry on her face. "So, you know about this thing?" Drake ask as he raise an eyebrow. Angela nod. "Yes, it was about a month before the fall of beacon. I was walking around our castle until I came across a strange room. In it was the body of a woman in a large crystal fill with the Grimm essence." Angela said. "Wait so that thing is a girl?" Jerico ask. "Could you tell us who?" I ask. Angela shook her head. "No, I couldn't make her out, that when mother came in. I ask her what I was seeing, and she told me she was conducting an experiment that the woman agree to undergone. Turning her into a Grimm." She said. "Is something like that even possible?" Koga said. "It appears so, you claim Salem jump into the Grimm essence in that vision the spirit Jinn show you. She was most likely trying to be making more beings like herself. Angela where did Salem find thee woman?" Milla ask. "I'm not sure, mother claim the woman just appear in our territory one day." She said. "I see, that still raise the question who the hound was and what they have against Ludger?" I ask.

"From what you told us this thing really hates Ludes." Terriermon said. "But who, there aren't a lot of women that Ludger piss off?" Agumon said. "Well except fpr my fracture self but she died a long time ago." Milla said. She got into a thinking pose. What she said got me thinking too. With what we learn it match up, but that not possible. I don't want to think that it can be true. "It definite a long shot partner, that thing aura was way too mess to get a proper read on it." Moeru Ryu said. "Excuse me your fracture self?" Vupimon ask. "Long story with a lot of bull shit." Terriermon said s Suzy flick him in the forehead. "Language mister." She said. scolding him. "It aa matter we don't like to talk about." I said sadly. That when my Scroll went off. I saw it was Argo. "What is it Argo?" I ask. "Takbou we got a problem., I just ran into our pal Mary Ann." She said. I narrow my eye and put the phone on speaker. "You sure it was her?" I ask. "Yep, it was Rika copycat alright." Argo said. "Mary Ann what she wants?" Gabumon ask. "Not sure goggle, she said she have a message for you." Argo said.

"What message?" Henry ask. "A certain black knight is at the top of the Nia Knera hollow mount and if you guys don't face him, he going to destroy the village." She said. We all let out a gash. "Black knight Omnimon Zwart it got to be." I said. "Good, I was hoping for a rematch with him." Jerico said as he punches his palm. "Will take care of it thanks Argo." I said ass I hang up. "I shall come with you, if this Zwart thinks he can threaten my home he shall face my wraith." Milla said. "Thanks let get to the hollow mount" I said as we left the village. We were halfway through the spiritway when I look to Angela. "So, is there anything else about the hound that you can tell us?" I ask. "Your still concern about it?" Lopmon ask from Suzy arms. I nod. "I am, it could be the most dangerous Grimm we have ever face yet." I said. "From what I ask form my mother, her goal was to create the ultimate hunter, to take the relics should Cinder and the others fail her. But its creation was taking took long." Angela said.

"Which explains why it only appears now." Drake said. 'From what we saw it smart and highly skill, it capable of using artes and we saw it can change it form at will." I said. "Truly a frightening creature." Futoshi said. Guilmon soon start to growl. "Takato!' He shout. We look up to see several large manticores above us. "Well great." Terriermon said as he gulp. "Ultimate?" Jerico ask. 'Ultimate." I said. "Digi-modify Matrix Digivolvtion activate!" We shout.

"Burn them away Moeru Ryu!" I shout as I change to my shikai. "Moeru talho!" I shout as I hit a manticore with a flame blast. "Megalo spark!" Wargrowlmon shout as he shot a lighting ball at one. "Eat this suckers Tri beam!" Rapidmon shout as he shot a triangle shape laser at them. "Bunny blades!" Antyramon shout as she swung her ax hands and cut one in half. Jerico duck under a manticore tail as he swung his sword to cut it off. "Go buddy!" He calls to his partner. "Giga storm!" Metalgreymon shout as he shot the orange energy blast from his chest and turn the Grimm to ash. Koga rush at one and spun his claws to drill through one. "Werewolf claw!" Weregarurumon shout as he slashes his claw into one. Futoshi use his Warhammer to crush one to bits. "Scrap claw!" Grounddramon shout as he uses his back claws to crush another one. Angela stabs her staff into the ground as shadows spikes shot up to impale a few of them. "Wind sickle!" Kyukimon shout as she cut one with an air blade. Drake jumps at a manticore as he brought down his buster great sword to cut it in half down the middle. "Fire fist of Shiva!" Asuramon shout as he uses his burning to take one out.

"Blade torrent!" Milla shout as she shot the light-based blade through the last one. With the Grimm defeated our Digimon return to normal. "Look like were on the right track huh." Drake said. "It appears so, come we must make haste to the hollow mount." Milla said as we continue on. We soon pass the shrine and came to the hollow mount area. "So where are we going to the dork knight at?" Jerico ask. "Most likely at the highest point of the mountain." I said. "It would make the best position to strike at the town." Henry said. "Then let get climbing." Kotimon said as we make our way up the mountain. After a while of climbing, we reach the summit, there we saw Zwart staring out to the distance. "So, you have come at last." He said as he turns to face us. "I hope you're ready for a rematch." Koga said as the knight chuckles. "I am, today we will see who is the true Omnimon." He said. "And it won't be you." Agumon said. "Then come and face me tamers." Zwart said. "Gladly let go guys." I said. "Biomerge activate!" We shout.

"I form my sword in my hand and rush at him. "Invincible sword!" I shout as I swung at him. Zwart quickly use his grey sword to block me and then swung his garuru hand at me. I jump back in time to dodge him. "Gargo Missiles!" Megagargomon shout as he fires his shoulders rockets at the dark knight. "Grey sword!" He shout as he sent an energy slash to cut them down. "Hey no fair." Megagargomon said as he got shot down by Zwart cannon. "Lighting spear!' Cherubimon shout as the angelic beast threw the lightning bolt at him. Zwart use his cape to protect himself. "You're a sad excuse for of the celestial trio, Garuru cannon!" He shout as he blasts her back. "Supreme cannon!" Omnimon shout as he shot at his dark counterpart. Zwart simply use his sword to deflect it. "Is that-" He was cut off when Breakdramon clash into him. The machine tries to push him to the chiff edge. But Zwart stop him in his tracks and flips Breakdramon over. "Womb mandala!" Kuzuhamon shout as she shout the wave of dark crystals at him.

fire his cannon to block them. "Grey sword!" He shout as he slashes at her. "Vorpal blade!" Zanbamon shout ass he shot an energy slash to counter it. Omnimon charges at Zwart and slashes at him as the two knights went at each other. But then Zwart kick Omnimon in the chest causing him to slide back. Zwart chuckles. "Is this all you have, aren't any of you a challenge?" He ask as Milla step up. "Then perhaps you should face me." She said as she got ready. Zwart laugh. "You, like you would be a match for me human." He said. Milla smirk as the four appear behind her. "I'm not just any human, I am Milla Maxwell lord of spirits Efreet!" She shout as the fire spirit charge at Zwart. Efreet land aa burning punch to Zwart chest as the knight try to slash at him. "Slpyth!" Milla shout as Slpyth cause a twister to force Zwart into the air. Zwart twist himself steady as he got ready to blast at Milla. But he was then crush to the ground by a waterfall thanks to undine. Th black knight soon got back up. "You pest." He said. "Gnome!" Milla shout as earth spikes shot up and trap the Digimon.

Zwart shout enrage as he broke from his bindings. "I will destroy you!" He shout as he saw Milla jump at him. "Z-slasher!" She shout as she slashes at his chest leaving a z shape gash in it. Zwart stumble back. I use this to form my lance. Don't forget about us Crimson light!" I shout as I threw the lance at Zwart chest as it explodes leaving small cracks in it. "Omnimon go!" I shout as the white knight rush past us. "Transcendent sword!" He shout as he slashes at Zwart. Zwart swung his own blade to meet Omnimon. The two clashes against each other as Zwart broke into two. Omnimon put his weapons together as white energy gather in them. "Your finish Omni blast!" He shout as he shot a white energy blast at Zwart at point blank. When the smoke clears, we saw Zwart was cover in cracks as his cape was torn and his horns were broken. "This isn't over yet." He said as the ground around him broke apart as he falls to the abyss below. We all change back to normal and look over the edge. "You think he gone?" Futoshi ask worry.

"I doubt he survive with thee injuries he has it unlikely." Angela said. "Agreed." Milla said. "Either way that one less problem to worry about." Koga said as he fixes his collar. "Good point, come on we should head back to town." I said as we start our trip down the mountain. Normal Pov: At the of the chiff was a large pile of rubble. Into it cracks a single red eye snap opens as black energy leaks from the pile. The ground begins to snake as a broken blade burst out of the top og the pile. A voice could be heard. "They... will... pay!" It shout as the scene went black.

Ikuno: With Zwart defeated we return our focus on the hunt for the Chrono core. But it appears we end up at an unexpected show. Next time on Tales of Tamers Xilla: Chapter 149; Circus of chaos. I do not enjoy clowns.
