A Mother's Will

* Chapter 2 *

"It happened seven years ago. I was young and really foolish. I visited this nearby bar. I got totally wasted. In the mist, I was seduced by this guy. He was a regular is what I gathered at the time, for folks knew him well. Let's just say one night stands ends me being alone and pregnant. I did research and had a plan going. The pregnancy was shorter than normal-human ones. I can remember that convulsion, it felt like my whole core was ripping apart. The night he did that to me, the night he made me a the labor, I had a guest. It was the same guy. At first, I was puzzled, but he assured me he there to help."

Aubrey stopped to make a disgusted expression when she spoke the words, 'help.'

"I was in so much agony and had lost so much blood. The baby was almost out of me. He informed me that I was dying. He begged to help, he said he could save us both. Well, in truth, he did. I was failing at being apprehensive. The guy scooped my hair away from my neck and kissed it. I could feel his breath blowing against my skin. In seconds, he bit down on my , a whoosh of pain hit me. I could hear some other noises, but I was too groggily to seek it. Directly, I felt the warm liquid that was then smeared in my mouth. The matter smelt like guy told me that it will soon be over.I began to hear my heart beat less, my vision blurry and the darkness called to me. Suddenly, I awoke, and I was surprised he was there. The strange man put his hand on my cheek. Swiftly, I remembered the baby and this resulted me to looked down to my empty stomach. I began to panic, the guy witnessed my movement. This caused him to comfort me that the baby was fine. I was so frail at the time. I closed my eyes again, but before they did I saw a thin woman with flowing long blonde hair. I recalled that golden clip that held part of it that moment, we caught glances at one another. I remembered her bronze eyes looking at me. As I let the obscurity visit me, I welcome sleep. Not knowing I had become something I only thought was in horror movies. When I awakened, I was thirsty-hunger, and not for food or water. I had a furious stare upon my face. My inner demon had come to the surface. The same woman was there, she peered at me and waited. The woman presented a bright smile that displayed her sharp, white swirled around to grasp the hold of a glass of ruby substance. She handed it to me and said, 'Drink this and I will explain everything.' So I did as instructed. Later on, I found out the same occurrence had happened to her as well." Aubrey expressed and added.

"Help me and the others! We don't hunt humans, nor do we kill anyone! We stayed to protect our babies from him!We would give anything for a cure. We never asked for this type of life!"

"How many?" Dean pressed.

"There's five of us. We work different shifts and take turns being on guard from him," Aubrey answered.

"I hate to even reveal this, but there is a cure." Sam enumerated.

"There is?!" Aubrey replied, hopeful.

"However, you guys are already far gone for it to work." Dean implied, pensive.

"That's the story of my life! It seems to be filled with bad luck!"

"Who is this Him, you mentioned?" Sam quizzed.

Aubrey sighed heavily and responded.

"His name is Vence Hawkins… His true intention is to feed upon the keeps them pure to have a blood bank. After us mothers found this out, we started to fight and protect our children! But he's burly for us!"

"Does the boy…know-"

"What? That his mother is a blood sucking freak?! Yes."

"What was his reaction to all of this?"

"At first, he didn't believe it. After he came to the realization. It doesn't matter to him that I'm a monster. I can't get through to him."

"You're his mother, he sees nothing more." Sam pointed out.

"Yeah, but… My fear is that one day I will not be able to control it..I even have a gun with bullets that has dead man's blood soaked in them. I showed him how to use it. I told him if I ever came after him like Vence had with the other kids, to shoot me and run for it. He's not comfortable with this idea. I just hope whenever that day comes, he will do what's right."

Dean and Sam nodded at her.

"Okay...Let's do this!" Sam commented.

"Thanks, we appreciate this! Vence is getting more brutal with not just us, but with the kids, too. Just the other night, a woman I know was jumped and torture. They tied her down as she watched her child being taken away from her grip and fed upon. Now, this was a reminder that these children are all human. I know hunters killed all vampires and I know if you do, or don't help us that in the end – You'll end up killing us. That's just in your nature. It's what you guys do. I wouldn't expect anything less. But before you kill us, safe our children from that monster! Stop him! Before another woman has to endure this awful fate! He gets single human- women pregnant, knowing well that they can't have the baby without dying. It's a magical skill he possesses that no other vampire has. In desperate to live, he offers an accommodating solution to them, which isn't. Vence Hawkins is a formidable savage, and years behind him. He branded all of us vampire mothers with a double 'V' that overlaps one another. It's his mark to remind us that we belong and who we are to him."

"That's just sick! A vampire pimp?!" Sam pronounced.

"Yes, it is."

"BASTARD!"

"I agree."

"There was a woman who tried to flee from all of this. It didn't end well for her. Vence made us watch his example. He showed us what would happen, if we ever tried to escape. That we would get the same treatment. It was repulsive that he made the kids view his actions. When we all sensed what was about to take place, we pleaded to keep the children out of it. Vence refused and spouted that the kids need to know their place as well. It commenced on, the sound of the ripping a body apart still echoes in my mind, as I know it does in Danny's. Instantly, they had disabled her body and scattered her remains all over the ground. The once green grass was soaked in her vivid red blood. Vence went to drink the woman's son's blood, until he was drained. It was a warning to us all to not test, nor double cross him."

As the vampire mother continued to talk to the Winchesters, she ceased in her sentence. Out in the distance, Aubrey heard cries from the house a couple blocks from their residence.

"Aubrey, what is it?" Sam asked.

"Oh! No! It's my friend, Rina and her son, Ryan. She-They did something wrong! You must go! They will be coming for me. Please!" Aubrey proclaimed and quickly jotted down the directions and handed it to the oldest Winchester. Then, she related this, before pushing them out of the door.

"Please go! If you are interested...Go there!"

After Aubrey had closed the door, she braced herself against it. She let out a huge breath of relief.

Shortly after, there was a knock at her door. Aubrey knew if she didn't answer it, there would be hell to pay. She opened the door.

Vence had probed Aubrey about the outsiders being noisy. She told him that the FBI was searching for that missing girl. The precedent girl that a few nights ago, she had perceived her screams and the limbs being torn off her body.

"You're such a fool!"

"Why do you say that?"

"Those weren't the FBI, they were hunters! Where are they going now?"

"I told them to check the local police. They might know more about her, because she hasn't been here."

"Hmm. Good. Next time they visit here, you get me, or one of the boys, ya hear?" Vence demanded.

"Crystal."

Vence quickly turned back around and took his fist to her face. This led her to pass out and fell to the ground unconsciously.

"Sleep, now. You deserve it!" Vence suggested and laughed hysterically.

"MOM!" Danny vocalized, as he ran to his mother's location.

"She's fine, brat!" Vence declared and punched him as well, which engendered the boy to be knocked out.

The Winchesters had moved the Impala to make as they left the area. In an hour, the boys returned with the needed gear in their hands. Daylight began to peek through the trees and into the old abandoned building, the same coordinates that Aubrey gave them. They crept to where some of the guards were sleeping.

"Aubrey?" Sam whispered, but no response was given.

A sudden twitching caught their was the boy, tied up to some blood device. They were in the process of draining Danny's blood from his body. Just about the time Dean was going to unhook the boy's imprisonment. Vence and his crew came in and began to attack them. When the opportunity presented itself, Sam took his machete and sliced Vence's head clean off. It rolled off and away from them. Next, was his minions, by and by was a breeze for the Winchesters.

Dean strode over to Aubrey and Danny, and freed their bond. The mother and son had awoken from the sounds of combat in the background. Aubrey realized what had occurred and uttered.

"Thank you!"

"You're welcome."

Aubrey walked close to Dean and planted a kiss on his cheek. Dean felt the coolness of her touch. In doing so, he shivered. To get undistracted, he advised.

"Don't make us come back!"

"Don't worry, you won't."

With that, the Winchesters climbed into their black Chevy Impala and drove off.
