Rise of the Vampire Queen
Prologue
The night sky looked as beautiful as ever as the moon and the stars continued keeping watch over Camp Half Blood. Chiron's eyes narrowed when he felt a change in the air, as he steadily walked the grounds of the camp.
With the children in their beds and most of the teachers in their tents. Chiron's eyes remained peeled as he scanned the area around him. With his hand on the hilt of his sword his eyes locked on to a bush that was shaking like crazy.
"Come on out I know your there." Chiron said.
The bush shook a bit more before a figure stood up. Stepping into the light Chiron's eyes relax as the grip on his sword loosen. for his eyes fell upon a smiling woman with long red hair and matching red eyes.
"Elizabeth King as I live and breathe I never thought I would see you again." Chiron said.
"Likewise but here I am." Elizabeth said.
"How have you been?" Chiron asked.
"I've been good I found a new meaning for my life." Elizabeth replied.
"That's good I'm proud of you." Chiron said.
The two of them continued talking about the old days to the present. Both Elizabeth and Chiron shared a few laughs as they now stood by the lake.
"My how times have changed I never thought I would ever see you even think of using a cell phone."
Elizabeth said.
"True but I learned we have to adept to survive." Chiron replied.
"Indeed...well as much as I enjoyed talking with you sadly its time to get back to business." Elizabeth said in a stern tone.
"What are you talking about?" Chiron asked.
Elizabeth remained silent as she snapped her fingers. Chiron's eyes widen when he felt something pierce his skin. He looked to see Percy who now stood in front of him.
Chiron stumbled backwards before dropping to the ground. Elizabeth walked forward with a huge smile across her lips.
"Like I said I found a new meaning for my life...one that requires the use of your favorite student." Elizabeth said.
All Chiron could do was watch as both Percy and Elizabeth disappeared.
Laying on his back Chiron closed his eyes. But Before he drifted off he made one final plea.
"Poseidon…please watch over your son."
