Bring Me To Life

Walking slowly, Kagome made her way through Inuyasha's Forest. When she spotted the sacred tree, she ran as fast as she could through the maze of trees, hoping to see her family's shrine. As she got closer, she heard a strange song playing in her mind:
How can you see into my eyes like open doors;
leading you down into my cores...
She stopped and listened to the mysterious voice. As she started to walk again, the voice started to sing again:
Where I've become so numb without a soul...
"Okay... this is getting wiered." Kagome said quietly. The pase she was walking slowed and she looked around. When she reached the sacred tree, she saw a strange boy pinned to the tree. She approtched the sleeping boy and stared at him curiously.
My spirit sleeping somewhere cold;
until you find it there and lead it back home...
Was he the one singing? Kagome thought. She climbed to the roots that binded him to the tree.
A/N: For those of you who seen this episode, you all know what happens next. if you never seen it, here's a hint: those ears, i think i want to touch them.
As she cntinued stroking his soft ears, the song began playing in her mind again:
Wake me up inside;
wake me up inside;
Call my name and save me from the dark;
Bid my blood to run before I come undone;
save me from the nothing I've become....
Bring me to life...
She removed her hands, and jumped off the roots. She started to walk away, but she couldn't get those sad words out of her mind, they just kept repeating and repeating: Bring me to life, Bring me to life...
A/N: Everything that happens in the village happens in this story too, all the way to where the demon chases Kagome into the forest too.
Panting heavily, Kagome ran back into the forest when the song started playing in her mind:
Now that I know what I'm wihtout;
You just can't leave me;
Btreath into me and make me real;
Bring me to life...
The she remembered the boy that was pinned to the sacred tree and what she heard earlier:
wake me up inside;
wake me up inside;
call my name and save me from the dark;
bid my blood to run before I come undone;
save me from the nothing I've become;
Bring me to life...
Her eyes widened. The she looked back to find the demon right behind her. What do I do? she thought.
Frozen inside without your touch without your love;
darling only you are the life among the dead...
Am I suppost to awaken him? she thought as she made her way to the sleeping hanyou.
All this time I can't belive I couldn't see;
Kept in the dark but you were there infront of me;
Those words kept repeating in her mind as the hanyou's motionless body came into view.
I've been sleeping a thousand years it seems
got to open my eyes to everything;
She looked back to find the demon ganging on her fast. She quickly climbed the roots and wrapped her left hand around the arrow in his chest.
Without a thought without a voice without a soul;
don't let me die here there must be something more;
Bring me to life...
With that said, she tightened her grip on the arrow and quickly pulled it out.
