ATM: Seth and the God Girls – The Good Housekeeper
After the havoc caused by her brother Shane, Stephanie tries to rebuild the McMahon family name, but the DX family are weary of her intentions and Seth and the God Girls wonder who in the wrestling world they can really trust as they prepare to go to war with Bray Wyatt.
Chapter Twenty-Five – Goodbye God Girls
The Sandbox
Finn Balor scratched the back of his head as Becky Lynch Balor pulled him towards the Sandbox along with the other God Girls.
"I'm pretty sure we should be on our honeymoon right now," Finn said as Becky rang the bell.
When no answer came, she looked up at Hunter's old bedroom window which was always open, and as expected, it was wide open.
"We're going in," she said, and Bayley, Bianca, Alexa, and Charlotte didn't hesitate to follow her. Finn on the other hand was far less keen to go into the Sandbox, especially since he didn't understand what they were all doing in Connecticut right now.
"Becky, can't this wait until we get back from Ireland?" he asked his new wife but there was no way Becky was going on her honeymoon until she had gotten what she had to say to Sasha Rollins off her chest.
Last night at the New York Plaza
Becky came out to see what was going on and why everyone was outside instead of inside enjoying the wedding reception. Bianca was hesitant to tell her but she knew that she'd have no choice, as Becky wouldn't accept anything other than the truth.
"Okay Becks, listen. Sasha just showed up and Seth, Abiyah and the Hurt Business have all left together. I know this has got to be extremely upsetting to you, but Seth thought it was the right thing to do under the circumstances. Sasha was causing such a scene, the only thing he could do to calm her down was to give her what she wanted. She refused to come in and enjoy the wedding and if she stayed in the mood she was in, there was no way any of us were going to have a good time," Bianca said, and Becky couldn't believe it.
"So, Seth's gone?" she asked, and Bianca nodded.
"Yeah Becks, I'm sorry. You know that's not what he wanted but it was the only thing he could do. Its his family, you know what I mean?" Bianca said hoping Becky would understand but she knew deep down that she wouldn't.
"No Bianca, I don't understand, this is my wedding, the most important day of my life and Sasha just totally ruined it. After everything we've done for her, she's still acting like the spoiled, entitled brat she's always been," Becky said, and she started walking in the direction of the Trump hotel that Shane McMahon was staying at but ATM pulled her back.
"No Becky, that's not going to happen, you are not going to confront Sasha Banks," Trish Orton said as Amy and Melina held Becky back by the waist.
Charlotte, Alexa, and Bayley shook their heads regretfully, they hated seeing Becky get so upset on her wedding day.
"Come on Becks, it's still your day. Let's go inside and keep the party going!" Bayley said and Alexa and Charlotte tried their best to cheer Becky up, but the Man was through giving Sasha Banks anymore grace. As far as Becky was concerned, it was time Sasha finally got her billion-dollar butt kicked. It wasn't going to happen tonight though, as the God Girls and ATM made sure she stayed in the reception hall with the roster and wedding guests and celebrated with Finn like any happy bride should on their wedding day. Bianca watched Becky as she tried to placate everyone as Montez led her to the coat room so they could make out in peace.
"What's wrong my love?" Tez asked Bianca as he kissed her arm softly.
"It's all falling down Tez and I can't do anything to stop it," Bianca replied soberly.
"What's falling down my love?" Tez replied as he kissed Bianca on the other arm.
"Seth and the God Girls, we're done, and there's nothing I can do to stop it," Bianca said and Tez looked up at his wife and saw that she was deeply distressed by what was happening with Seth and the God Girls.
"Baby, I gotta be honest, its time you took a break from the God Girls. I know you're Seth's Treasurer of Secrets, you're basically his right-hand man, his Jey Uso. The difference is, Jey isn't six months pregnant, and you can't afford to get stressed. Seth had to figure this one out for himself and you have to think about yourself too baby. I'm sure the God Girls will understand if you step down early," Tez said but Bianca wasn't even listening to him as God told her what was going to happen tomorrow. Even though she wasn't listening to him talk, what God told her lined up with what her husband was saying perfectly.
Right now, it was go time for Becky Lynch, as she stepped into the room where Seth and Sasha now slept, with her go-to ice bucket filled with ice cold water. As the water spilled over the surface of the Rollins' entangled bodies, the God Girls and Finn Balor watched as Seth and Sasha leapt up from their marital bed with icy water running down their bodies.
"ARGHH!" Sasha screamed and she locked eyes with Becky Lynch who felt like doing a victory lap with the ice bucket in hand.
"We need to talk about last night," Becky said to Sasha.
"GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!" Sasha roared and Becky swung the ice bucket like a weapon, but Seth snatched it away from her and turned to his wife.
"Go to Abiyah, I'll talk to them," he said, and he kissed a furious Sasha until she was silenced into agreement by her husband's very convincing kiss. As she waddled away to check on her sleeping baby boy, Seth signalled for the God Girls to leave by the window they came though.
"What?" Becky said outraged. "We came all the way from New York and now you want us to leave?!"
"Number one, you're supposed to be on your honeymoon and number two, what do you expect me to do?! You threw ice on me and my wife while we were sleeping!?" Seth replied.
"Well, you bailed on my wedding, did you think I was just going to let that slide?!" Becky said offended.
"No Becky I didn't but I do expect you to leave right now," Seth said, and Bianca's head dropped with a heavy sigh. Seth noticed the change in her body language. "So, you haven't told them?" he asked Bianca and she shook her head that she hadn't, "Well, what are you waiting for?"
"Hey, can we get something to eat, it's been a long night," Alexa said who was starting to get stress hungry. She knew something was wrong and judging from Bianca's behaviour, she knew she wouldn't have the stomach for it.
"We're done guys," Bianca said, and the God Girls looked at her horrified.
"What do you mean we're done?" Charlotte asked her confused.
"We can't function as a group without Seth and he's leaving us to join forces with Shane McMahon and Bray Wyatt," Bianca said.
"What?!" Alexa, Becky, and Charlotte yelled but Bayley remained collected.
"You're going undercover," she said to Seth, but he remained silent.
"Or maybe I'm doing what's right by my family. Now for the love of God, get out of my house and don't come back," Seth said firmly, and Bayley backed away understanding what Seth was doing but Becky had no such understanding.
"So that's it?" she said appalled, "we give up our lives, serve you as leader, give up our own plans and you just drop us because Sasha says so?"
"I'm done explaining myself to you Becky, please go out the same way you came in," Seth said as he headed to the bathroom to get himself a towel.
Becky was furious but the God Girls made sure she didn't do anything crazy, and they led her carefully back out of the bedroom window and down to the Palatial Gardens with a very confused Finn Balor.
"So that's it, you're done? No more God Girls?" Finn asked Bianca as they all pondered Seth's announcement.
"He's biding his time, right Bianca?" Bayley said but Bianca was too busy trying to calm Becky down. The new Mrs Balor was about to go ballistic and none of the other God Girls had a clue what was about to happen.
Meanwhile inside the Sandbox, the Good Housekeeper was making breakfast for the Rollins. Unlike the God Girls, she was still very much welcome there and her timing couldn't have been better.
As the Rollins came down for breakfast, Sasha fed her son and a freshly dried Seth sat in the living room thinking about the last few hours of his life.
"You really gonna let her destroy the God Girls?" Miss Glee asked Seth as he thought prayerfully about things.
"She's my wife Miss Glee, I swore to stand by her no matter what and that's exactly what I'm gong to do. She's embraced the McMahon side of herself, so I have to as-well. Doesn't that make sense? Am I wrong for being loyal?" Seth asked Miss Glee who looked at him sternly.
"How can you be loyal to your wife and betray the very group God gave you to lead?" Miss Glee asked Seth. "Your wife is terrified of those Girls, and you love them, do you really think spending more time with her is going to make you a better person?"
Seth thought about it, "No, but it'll make me a better husband," Seth said with a smile and the very patient Miss Glee gave him a hug, a hug that he desperately needed.
In the kitchen, Sasha sent her father Shane a message telling him she was planning a dinner party later at the Sandbox.
"No Daddy, the God Girls will definitely not be here. They're gone, they are finally out of my hair. Seth finally came around; I love that man so much…of course I love you too Daddy! I'll see you later, bye!" Sasha said and she continued to feed Abiyah. "Things are going to be so much better now Abi; we're finally going to be the family I always wanted us to be and there's nothing those pesky God Girls or your father Roman can do about it,"
Abiyah raised his eyebrow in a way that sent shivers down Sasha's back; it was definitely the trademark People's Eyebrow, owing to Abiyah's Bloodline roots. "Uncle Roman is my father?" Abiyah said and Sasha realised the mistake she made.
"Um, yes honey. Roman Reigns is your father," she said, and Abiyah ran away from her. "Abi wait!" Sasha called after him as Abiyah went to get his blue teddy and Ra-Ra. When he got them, he jumped out of Hunter's old bedroom window where the God Girls were still congregating much to Sasha's annoyance.
"Abi!" Bayley said going over to him, "What are you doing out here?"
"Roman Reigns is my father," Abiyah said, and the God Girls gasped.
"He knows," Charlotte said, and they looked at each other speechless, but more importantly to Becky, he was out of the house.
The new bride raised her arm towards the Sandbox and sent a fireball directly into it, setting the whole house on fire.
"Becky!" Finn cried out but it was too late. "Great, you're going back to jail for sure now! So much for our honeymoon!"
The God Girls watched as the DX asset the McMahon-Helmsley dynasty had spent a lifetime fighting over, went up in flames before their very eyes.
"Shouldn't we be trying to put it out?" Alexa asked as Bianca got into it with Becky while Charlotte tried to play peacemaker and Bayley kept Abiyah out of harm's way.
It was clear to Seth's Maid of Armour that Bianca was right, the God Girls were really done and everything they had spent over a year building with Seth, just went up in smoke.
Seth and the God Girls will continue in The War of the Bloodlines.
