The Jurassic Loud House

Chapter 1: Ordinary Me

Lincoln feels left out due to all his sisters having their own special talents and all of them receiving trophies and rewards except for him. A Scottish man on a mysterious island takes an interest in the Louds.

A quick heads-up: Just as a warning, a lot of these earlier chapters take many similar attributes to the beginning of The Loud House Movie and they can also be a little slow-paced, too, so these earlier chapters might be kinda boring. Just keep reading through them and I promise it will get more exciting as the story develops. With that said, please enjoy! P.S. Since its mostly this chapter that is similar to The Loud House Movie, I might kinda breeze through some parts as well, so if it seems rushed, don't worry. Its just so we can get to some stuff ya'll haven't seen before.

65 million years ago – The Cretaceous Era

It was just another day 65 million years ago, where the herbivores such as Triceratops and Ankylosaurus grazed on the greenery and plant life, while carnivores such as Spinosaurus, Carnotaurus, and the infamous Tyrannosaurus Rex hunted and ate any live meat they could get their bloodthirsty jaws on. However, as awesome and breathtaking as they were, dinosaurs were not the only creatures who made themselves at home during this time. Contrary to popular belief, there were in fact, humans living among them as well, and none of them were as popular and as well-known as the Loud family, a family comprised of two parents, one boy, and ten sisters! Imagine that! In a cave where the family made themselves home, the father, Lynn Loud Sr., was preparing his classic fried Albertosaurus egg omelets for breakfast. This was a fan favorite among the Loud children, and anytime he made them, they were bound to fight over the meal!

"You see, all you need to do is watch and learn", Lincoln said to his baby sister, Lily as he held her. "Nobody outsmarts Lincoln…", he froze as he saw his other nine sisters make their way out. "Loud…"

"Nice try, Lincoln, but you're not the only one who remembered is Albertosaurus egg omelet Saturday", Lori smirked.

"Yay! Omelets!", the sisters cheered.

With this the Loud sisters all rushed outside of the cave, but the man with the plan outsmarted them by using a tubular device to make an iconic sound effect. Before any of them knew it, a pack of Velociraptors appeared out of the bushes and started chasing the Loud sisters!

"Aaah! Raptors!", they all panicked and ran away from them.

Lincoln knew they would be fine, though, for his family was known for being able to tame dinosaurs and his sisters have survived far worse things than Raptors before.

"The key to having a plan is to always have a backup plan", Lincoln smiled.

"Backup plan!", Lily said in her baby talk.

Lincoln and Lily then went to their father, who was almost done frying the eggs over a firepit.

"Dinner is served!", Lynn Sr. declared as he gave the omelets to Lincoln and Lily.

"Thanks, dad!", Lincoln reacted.

"Omwets!", Lily shouted.

Before either of them could start eating, the other nine sisters had come back, this time, with the Velociraptors on their side!

"Get him!", Lynn Jr. yelled.

Before another family brawl over food could ensue, however, the mother of the family, Rita Loud entered, panicking frantically.

"Kids! Kids! We need to get out of here now!", Rita panicked, causing the fight to cease.

"What the matter, honey?", Lynn Sr. asked.

"There is an asteroid coming our way!", Rita replied.

"Oh, that's preposterous, mother unit", Lisa scoffed. "Basic knowledge of the solar system shows that the odds of an asteroid crashing down on us are approximately…"

Before Lisa could give her calculation, Luna tilted her head upwards. In doing so, Lisa saw that their mother was right! There was indeed an asteroid heading their way and fast!

"Everybody, run!", Lynn Sr. ordered his family.

With their lives suddenly in danger, all the Loud family could think of to do was run away like there was no tomorrow, which in this case, there might not be. Not only that, but the dinosaurs were catching on as well, evident by the Velociraptors from earlier running away as well, along all kinds of herbivores and carnivores around them. As they all ran, several smaller asteroids came crashing down as well, killing some dinosaurs in the process. While Lincoln was running, he had accidentally tripped on a rock and fell, hitting his knee on the rocky ground, causing it to fracture.

"Lincoln!", the Loud family exclaimed as they went back for him.

"You guys get out of here! Save yourselves!", Lincoln yelled. "I'll only slow you down!"

"We not gonna leave you here like this, bro", Luna retorted.

"You have to! We all knew this was coming, and we all knew not all of us we're gonna get out alive if it did…"

"He's right…", Lynn Sr. admitted. "We knew that when this happened, some of us would have to get left behind to save the rest…"

"I'll gladly sacrifice myself if it means saving you guys", Lincoln admitted.

"But we can't just—", Lana tried to speak.

"You guys need to go! Now!", Lincoln yelled. "If you stay any longer, you're all gonna die!"

"Kids, Lincoln's right. We need to leave!", Rita ordered.

"But we can't leave Linky!", Lola cried.

With this, the rest of the Loud family left and continued running. As they ran, Lily was in Luna's arms and was looking back at Lincoln with desperate eyes, hoping a miracle would happen and her brother would be saved. All Lincoln could do in response was wave, as this would be the last time he ever saw the family he loved. Before he knew it, his sisters and parents disappeared from his vision, and in time, Lincoln accepted his fate, so he closed his eyes and waited for the extinction event to pass. He still heard the loud noises all around him of dinosaurs running away and asteroids crashing into the ground.

The Loud boy's time was getting closer and closer to ending, and just when he thought it was all over, a female Tyrannosaurus Rex runs towards him with her thumping feet and picks him up by his shirt with her jaw! Still in a haze, Lincoln looked behind him and he discovered that this T. Rex was one he immediately recognized.

"Rexy…?", Lincoln mustered her name, still groggy from his wounds.

As the asteroids kept coming and other dinosaurs kept running, this Tyrannosaur's (or Rexy's) main priority was to make sure Lincoln was safe. Try as she might, even the mighty T. Rex could not outrun extinction, causing her to get hit in her leg by an asteroid, in which she collapsed to the ground, wounded.

"Aaaaaaar!", Rexy roared in agony.

"Rexy! Are you okay?!", Lincoln clang to the beast.

In response, all Rexy could do was give out a defeated snarl as she tried to nudge her head closer to Lincoln. Due to his broken leg, Lincoln was incapable of moving, but at this moment in time, he did not want to. Even if he could run away and flee, he was not about to let Rexy die alone like this. With his family gone and both their fates sealed, all he could do was cry as he hugged Rexy's head and accepted his fate. Both the boy and the dinosaur lay on the ground, defeated, and before they knew it, an asteroid larger than anything either of them had seen crashed into the Gulf of Mexico. The explosion was so large and catastrophic that both of them, along with everyone else, were killed in an instant…

Present Day

It was another Saturday morning in Royal Woods, and Lincoln was holding onto Lily as he exited the restroom upstairs.

"You see, all you need to do is watch and learn", Lincoln smirked. "Nobody outsmarts Lincoln…Loud…", his confidence was put to a halt when he saw the rest of his sisters in the hallway.

"Sorry, Lincoln, but you're not the only one who remembered its breakfast burrito Saturday", Lori said with confidence.

"Burritos!", the Loud sisters cheered.

Excited to get a taste of their father's delicious burritos, the Loud sisters all rushed down the stairs, but Lincoln had a plan to get them all out of his way in one fell swoop. Using the carpet on the stairway, he yanked it up from under them in a wave, causing the sisters to fly straight out the front door, followed by Lily closing the door on all of them.

"The key to having a plan is to always have a backup plan", Lincoln said.

"Backup plan!", Lily blabbed.

The two then went into the kitchen, where Lynn Sr. has just gotten done making his breakfast burritos, singing his burrito song while doing so.

"Morning Lincoln. Hello, Lily…", Lynn Sr. smiled.

"Bawitotos!", Lily giggled.

"That's right, Lily, bawitotos", Lynn Sr. said to the baby.

Just as Lincoln and Lily were about to take a bite, the remaining nine sisters came storming back in! Then, without saying a word, they all jumped at Lincoln, turning the dining table into a frenzy over who was going to get the breakfast burrito. In order to avoid the scuffle, Lincoln and Lily took shelter under the table.

"Sorry, Lily. So much for watching and learning", Lincoln lamented.

"Backup plan!", Lily declared as she pulled a burrito out from her diaper.

"Oh-ho-ho! The student has become the master!", Lincoln smiled before they both started eating the burrito.

As the Loud sisters continued fighting, Rita stormed into the dining room and blew her whistle, causing them all to cease immediately.

"Lola, we need to go if you want to make it to your recital on time!", Rita said to her daughter.

"Don't forget my science fair!", Lisa added.

"I have the Junior Morticians' Death Match", Lucy said.

"I'm working pit crew at the racetrack", said Lana.

The rest of the girls all rambled amongst each other as they all had some sort of activity going on today, except for Leni.

"Not me", Leni said. "I just have my fashion show".

"That's an activity, honey…", Rita replied, already exasperated.

"We're not prepared for this. This is a ding-dang disaster! What do we do?!", Lynn Sr. started freaking out. "Don't panic, don't panic, don't panic!"

"Relax everybody", Lincoln crawled out from under the table. "I got this", he said with composure. The Loud family smiled. "Another lesson Lily, its always more important to help your family than to outsmart them". He then placed some headphones on Lily and pulled out a megaphone. "Alright, Louds, let's go, go, go!" He put the megaphone away as his sisters lined up to walk out the door. "Lori, gold clubs".

"Thanks, Linc!"

"Leni, measuring tape".

"Thanks, Lincoln!"

"Luna, guitar".

"Thanks, bro!"

"Lynn, soccer ball".

"Yeah-uh!"

"Luan, rubber chicken".

Luan laughed.

"Lucy, black veil".

"Thanks".

"Lola, flaming baton".

"Thanks, Lincoln!"

"Lana…wrench set…"

"Thanks, Linc!"

"Lisa, ammonium di…"

"Dichromate. Thank you, male sibling".

"Alright, we got everything?", Rita rubbed Lincoln's head.

"Yup! We're good to go!", Lynn Sr. answered.

"Mom! Dad! You forgot something!", Lincoln reminded them of Lily.

"Oh, sorry, sweetie", Rita said as she grabbed her infant daughter.

With this, the Loud family took off inside of Vanzilla in order to get the sister to their scheduled activities as quickly and efficiently as possible. Thanks to Lincoln Loud, he knew everything he needed to know about this predicament, such as the quickest routes to get from place to place, as well as the sisters' scheduled times for their activities. Thanks to his guidance, he was able to get all the sisters to their activities at the perfect times. These ranged from Lori's gold tournament, Leni's fashion show, Luna's rock'n'roll performance, Luan's comedy show, Lynn's soccer game, Lucy's Junior Morticians' Death Match, Lola's pageant recital, Lana's handiwork on the racetrack, and Lisa's science presentation. Again, thanks to Lincoln's help, all of them were able to get individual pictures taken of all of their first-place trophies. Once everything was all said and done, the family arrived at Lynn Sr.'s restaurant, Lynn's Table, where the sisters (bar Lily) entered. The Loud parents remained in Vanzilla in order to catch their breath after a busy day.

"Oh! We did it! Thank you, Lincoln", Rita smiled, exhausted.

"You sure know how to keep the old fam from falling apart, kiddo", Lynn Sr. added.

Lincoln smiled heartwarmingly at this compliment. Then, him, Lily and his parents all entered Lynn's Table, where they met up with the rest of the sisters.

"We are the Louds! Loud and proud! We are the Louds! Loud and proud!", the Loud sisters chanted.

"Yeah, Loud and too loud", the notorious Scoots said.

"Honey, let's get a pic of our kids for our Loud Wall of Fame", Lynn Sr. suggested.

"Oh, that's a great idea!", Rita said as she pulled her phone out. "Everyone, hold up your trophies!"

Hearing their mom's instruction, the Loud sisters all raised up their trophies. With the table being rather cramped, Lincoln was forced to dodge the trophies being directed in his way. Eventually, though, he was hit by one of them, causing him to fall of the table and out of the photo.

"Okay, everyone, squeeze in!", Rita said.

"Sisters!", Lincoln begged as he didn't want to be left out of the photo.

Rita took the photo and the Loud sisters laughed with self-love.

"Hey, guys, wait for me!", Lincoln begged again.

"Hey, look, it's the Loud sisters!", a customer said.

"Nobody tosses a baton like that one!", another customer said.

"She embalmed my Uncle Jack!", and old man added.

"I wish my family was as talented as they are!", a fourth customer chimed in.

All the customers ran over to the Loud sisters and Lincoln did his best to shield himself from being trampled on by them. Unfortunately, he ended up being further separated from them as everyone was trying to get a selfie with his sisters.

"Selfie!", a man shouted.

"Can I get an autograph?", a woman asked.

"Agh, enough loudness. Scoots out!", Scoots declared as she drover her scooter to the restaurant doorway. Lincoln was able to stand back up, but when he did, Scoots ran into him, causing both of them to exit the restaurant. "Hey, you gotta pay to ride this hog, sonny!", Scoots yelled at Lincoln.

Not paying attention to Scoots, Lincoln noticed the doors were closing. "Wait!", he exclaimed as he tried to get back in, all be it too late. The restaurant doors were now shut, and he was locked outside.

"Hey! Hey, guys! I wanna be in the photo!", Lincoln begged as he banged on the windows, but it was all in vain. Nobody noticed him.

Back on the inside, the Loud sisters were still receiving undying praise.

"Oh, you must be so proud of your girls", a customer said to the Loud parents.

"You're ding-dang-darn tootin'!", Lynn Sr. wiped a tear from his eye.

"They are very special", Rita smiled.

Lincoln was starting to grow sadder and sadder by watching his sisters receive all their praise while he has nothing to show. To make matters worse, Scoots decided to add some insult to injury.

"No trophy, no photo! Loserrrrrrr!", she laughed as she scooted off.

The sisters continued to bask in their glory.

"Guess what? I'm gonna be in the newspaper!", Lynn said.

"That lady wants to interview us on TV!", Lola cheered.

"Most 'likes' ever!", Lori added.

"Me, too!", Lola replied.

"How cool is that?!", Lynn Sr. said.

"Yeah!", the sisters agreed.

"Let's go home and put these trophies on display", Lynn Sr. smiled.

"I wish everyone thought I was special…", Lincoln thought out loud.

They say it doesn't matter

How you look or where you've been

So why do I need a thousand likes

To feel like I fit in?

I'd probably have it easy

If I were the only kid

But when you live with ten superstars

Its hard for you to win

I wish I could be

Someone extraordinary

But I'm just me

And that's too ordinary

Is there ever gonna be

A place in the spotlight just for me?

When the world can finally see

I'm special like my family

Will there be a time

When I really shine?

Am I always gonna be

Plain old ordinary me? (ah-ah-ah)

Plain old ordinary me?

Am I always gonna be

Plain old, regular, boring

Unremarkable, ordinary me?

Meanwhile, far away, on an island around Costa Rica, a man had just been given an important envelope.

"Sir, you might want to see this", the man giving the envelope said.

The other man took the envelope and opened it, and when he did, his face lit up with shock. Not wasting any time, the man ran through the rather forest-like town of the island until he found a man with nice, brown hair and matching mustache.

"Angus! Angus!", the man with the envelope exclaimed.

"What is it lad? What's the matter?", a caring Angus asked.

"You need to have a look at this".

Hearing this, Angus took the paper from the man, and when he did, his face lit up with so much joy even he had not felt for a long time. "Well, blow me bagpipes…", he reacted with a smile.

This paper happened to be a picture of the ten Loud sisters all posing in a promotional picture of themselves. Lincoln was in it too, but he was being pushed out of the way by Lola.

"Where is this photograph from, lad?", Angus asked.

"Its from the United States. I believe it's in a place called Royal Woods, Michigan", the man replied.

"Well, there's no time to waste!", Angus declared. "Have an airplane set course for Royal Woods!"

"Yes, sir!", the man replied with enthusiasm.

To be continued…
