Disclaimer: I don't own any of the original Halo or Naruto ideas. The extra parts are all mine. This will have some crossover elements. The storyline will blend the two with the focus on the Halo timeline. Crossover will have some elements of StarCraft and maybe some Star Wars (no force abilities or characters), ships, and other things from other shows that when blend in naturally. I got this idea from Three Square Meals by donalgraeme and Three Square meals by Tefler.

Prologue:

With the infection of the parasite known as the flood expanding to all corners of the galaxy the plan to use the rings was initiated. All sentinel races have been cataloging and would be returned when the flood has been wiped. The forerunners had all this plan and within a few moments it was done. With the flood having nothing to feed on their numbers had reduce enough for the many machines and sentinels to reduce and eventually wipe out any reminders. With the flood gone from the galaxy reseeding the population went into action. With the rush of the rings certain protocols and procedures that were supposed to occur were corrupted. Its what lead to numerous repercussions.

The first was the wiping and catalog of additional species which would be repopulated. There original homes becoming no longer capable of sustaining life and forced to be re-seeded in a new location.

The second was the corruption of the human seed. With the corruption taking place humans was re seeded in different locations being unaware of one another.

The third was in result of the corruption the human seeds were not all the same. Humans in certain areas were born with additions that other humans were not.

Over time the humans born on the planet Earth progressed to the point of colonizing other planets in the solar system and then to other places in the galaxy. As the years went on, they learned that they weren't the only sentinel beings in the galaxy. With peaceful negotiations humans learned to live in peace with these newer species who colonized quite a few planets on their own.

It wasn't until the humans of Earth stumbled upon the planet known as Elemental to the natives that they learned that they were not the only humans in this universe. While not nearly as advance as Earth the humans from Elemental had something that they did not. Charka. With Earth and Elemental coming together and pooling in their knowledge and resources with the other species they enter a gold age even in the face of rebels and rebellions.

It was numerous of years later that the UNSC stumbled upon an unknown ship who would later define themselves as the Covenant. Their goal was the Great Journey and with that the extermination of humans. While humans have advance with the other species help the Covenant were still very advance with strong warriors and numerous.

1245 hours, May 25, 2527 (military calendar)

Konoha City, Flaming Leaf School

Fire Country, Planet Elemental

Dressed in an open collar orange button shirt, black pants and boots was a young man taking his lunch break. At the age of 16 like most kids on this planet they are to graduate from school to pursue whatever career they choose. Some become pilots, teachers, mercenaries, doctors, scientists, and even join the military to fight the fearsome Covenant. Looking down at a few papers on the table next to the food he had plenty of choices for a being of his species. Being and growing up on Elemental forced people to learn and mature a lot quicker.

The higher people of this planet felt they should catch up to the other humans in terms of knowledge so everything was rushed and maximized for its citizens in school. Normal school started at the very young age of 5 and it goes straight to 13. From 13 to either 16 to 18 was advance schooling which for other planets would be College and some would be military.

Elemental was a group of people who were born warriors so starting at age 6 classes for the military were added. As part of the agreement in joining the UNSC the people who joined this program were drafted to the military to do certain things. Whether they were marines, officers, pilots, doctors, and more.

The career path he chose was an officer for three years. Luckily, they needed some officers to stay in Elemental to help promote peace and security. Completing his three years while attending advance college on the side was difficult but possible thanks to his guardian. Retired Admiral Hiruzen Sarutobi. He was the teacher and commanding officer for his father Minato Namikaze who died in the line of duty. In her grief his mother Kushina Namikaze Uzumaki poured all her work into serving the military reaching the rank of Admiral as well but leaving Hiruzen to raise him.

With his knowledge and connections, he was able to get his degrees done while doing the minimum time in the military so he can go out and do what he like with his life. With graduation around the corner Lieutenant Naruto Namikaze Uzumaki needed to get to work on his future. He was running low on credits as well since the military will stop his pay once he graduates. He needed to make money fast so he can get started on his adventure. It's also a good thing that due to his unique upbringing as a baby, as an Elemental he had more charka than a normal person would have. With a special jutsu that was taught to him by his 'grandfather' money would be a thing of the past eventually.

'The first step is to build up my knowledge of all things about ships. The second step will be to make credits in order to make that ship or getting enough credits to by my own ship to get of this planet and see the world. Ready or not universe, here Naruto comes!'
