Chapter 11: Amy vs. Jack the Ripper Part 2

It took all of Amy's strength just to even keep standing. She'd never felt so exhausted in her life. With her life force being drained for every 1000 Life Points she lost, she was in every sense of the word slowly dying. With only 1100 Life Points left, she was down to her last thousand. The Crush Card Virus had left her with very limited options as now she couldn't play any monsters with 1500 or more attack points, leaving her with only her weakest monsters to use. Hopefully her Spells and Traps would continue to be helpful in this duel. It was just a matter of if she even had the strength left to carry on duelling.

Chloe clenched her fists in worry. She wanted to run into the duel and pull Amy out before it was too late, but that wouldn't solve anything. Hallows would likely classify it as a forfeit and Amy would still lose her soul anyway. Kazuki was watching with baited breath, wishing with all his might that he could join Amy and duel alongside her to help her. But Hallows would only refuse his request. This was Amy's challenge and her's to win alone. All he and Chloe could do now was hope Amy could carry on and win the duel despite the impossible odds.

"I'm so scared Kazuki! I really don't think Amy can win this one!" Chloe said anxiously.

"We thought as much against Gypsy and Garth, yet she still won those matches." Kazuki noted, "Amy will win this one, I'm sure of it! I just hope she doesn't pass out before she can win…"

That was the bigger worry. Even if Amy turned this duel around, she could collapse from exhaustion and thus would lose by default. Kazuki was sure Amy's determination to save Jack would keep her going in spite of all that. He and Chloe watched as Amy made her next move. She drew her next card. Despite Crush Card Virus's effect, Amy knew it wasn't over for her. She had plenty of weak monsters with strong effects to stall the Ripper until Crush Card's effect was over and then she could unleash her Valkyrion the Magna Warrior strategy. She still had Alpha the Magnet Warrior in her hand. She would play it in Defence Mode and let the Ripper destroy it once the time was right. For now, she decided to use her new monster she'd drawn.

"I'll set a monster in Defence Mode and set another card face-down." Amy said, her voice barely above a whisper from how drained she was, "That'll end my turn."

"Not yet Amy for I activate my Trap Card, Jar of Greed!" Jack the Ripper announced, "This lets me draw another card."

"And you really felt the need to activate it before my turn was over, why exactly?" Amy retorted.

"No real reason, I just wanted to." Ripper said casually as he drew his new card.

He grinned with delight. He'd drawn Soul Release, just as he'd hoped he would. Now he would be able to summon his second Dark Armed Dragon! Amy was as good as dead now! He began his turn by drawing his next card.

"Sorry to say, sweetheart, but it's all over now." the Dark Duellist purred, "For I activate Soul Release! This lets me banish any number of monsters from my Graveyard from 1 to 5. I banish two monsters from my Graveyard so now I only have three DARK Attribute Monsters residing there again. This allows me to Special Summon my second Dark Armed Dragon!"

"NO!" Chloe shrieked, "Amy can't possibly beat that thing now! She's done for!"

"Not unless her face-down card can change that…" Kazuki noted.

Amy watched, looking half asleep as Dark Armed Dragon made its terrifying return to the field. It roared menacingly, its bladed spikes glistening in the light of the arena. Jack the Ripper had at least three DARK monsters in his Graveyard so he could banish any of them to destroy Amy's cards on the field and leave her wide open for a direct attack. At least that was the Ripper's plan. But Amy had been ready for it. New life seemed to surge through her as she smiled smugly at her opponent.

"I was hoping you'd do that." she sneered, "Cause now I can get rid of it for good with my Bottomless Trap Hole!"

"WHAT?!" the Ripper exclaimed incredulously, "No! You had just the card you needed to stop my dragon!"

"I did!" Amy crowed, "And YOU helped me do that by allowing me to draw it with Card Destruction earlier, so thank you for that! And now it not only gets destroyed, it's banished from the game so you won't get to use it again!"

A large hole opened up underneath Dark Armed Dragon and the vicious draconian beast vanished down it, roaring for help as it was destroyed by the hole. Jack the Ripper growled angrily as he sent the card to the banished zone on his Duel Disk. Amy had ruined his perfect victory! He was so destined to win and yet Amy had somehow foiled it! Chloe and Kazuki felt more relaxed now Dark Armed Dragon was gone.

"Phew…I thought it was the end there but nope, Amy has another awesome Trap Card to get her out of trouble!" Chloe sighed happily.

"To think the Ripper unintentionally screwed himself over by making Amy discard her hand and draw a new one, thus allowing her to get that Bottomless Trap Hole out in the nick of time to save herself." Kazuki observed, "I bet that's really winding him up now!"

But curiously enough, the boy in the suit and cape didn't look too upset about this loss. If anything, he had the sort of face that suggested Amy had barely inconvenienced him. He was acting as if he still had control of this duel regardless of what had happened.

"So what if Dark Armed Dragon is gone? I've still got plenty of moves I can make!" the Ripper crowed, "For now I play my spell card, Fiend's Sanctuary!"

He played the card and as he did so, a small metal puppet-like creature with no face, no legs and spikes in place of hands appeared beside his Grand Tikki Elder. Amy was unimpressed.

"So what does that do exactly?" she muttered.

"Simple. It allows me to Special Summon one of my most powerful creatures." the Ripper announced, "I need to sacrifice a monster and at least Grand Tikki Elder or Melchid the Four-Faced Beast in order to summon this one. So now I sacrifice my Grand Tikki Elder and my Metal Token to call forth the almighty Masked Beast Des Gardius!"

His two monsters vanished from the game as he played his new creature. The Masked Beast Des Gardius (3300ATK/2500DEF) materialized onto the field with its claws bared and ready to strike. It was a bizarre looking creature that didn't resemble anything remotely human or animal. It had large arms with razor sharp claws and had three heads all covered by masks. Amy thought it was one of the ugliest looking Duel Monsters she'd ever seen. Chloe went back to being worried again as she saw how powerful it was. How could Amy possibly face a creature like this when she couldn't play any powerful monsters? Kazuki was still hopeful that Amy could win. He suspected Amy's face-down monster might help her out of this pickle. The Ripper didn't seem worried about it.

"You better hope you have any last tricks up your sleeves, babe, because you're going to lose this duel once and for all!" he declared, "Masked Beast Des Gardius, destroy that face-down card now!"

The grotesque creature rushed towards Amy's monster as if launched from a catapult. It raised its claws up high and then slashed at Amy's card. Immediately afterwards, it grimaced as electricity suddenly crackled around its body and caused its joints to freeze up. It couldn't move. Kazuki grinned knowingly. His hunch had been correct again!

"Nice try, asshole, but you destroyed my Electric Lizard!" Amy gloated, "Now your ugly monster can't attack me on your next turn! That should allow me to do some damage in the meantime."

"You're just delaying your demise, Amy!" the Ripper growled in irritation, "Why can't you be a good little girl and just accept your defeat already? You're beginning to tire me with these pointless stalling tactics!"

"Why stop a good strategy when it's helped me get this far?" Amy retorted.

"Seconded!" Kazuki agreed.

"I'll say. Watching Amy duel, it's no coincidence that when she's able to hold the enemy back for a bit, she makes a comeback and wins the duel." Chloe noticed, "I bet that'll happen again!"

"I guarantee it." Amy concurred, "Now let's see…"

She drew her next card and looked at it. She was sure it would come in handy for later.

"I'll set another card face-down and then I'll play Alpha the Magnet Warrior in Defence Mode." Amy declared as she placed the cards in their respective zones.

Alpha the Magnet Warrior (1400ATK/1700DEF) materialized onto the field with its shield held up protectively in front of it. Alpha looked like a robot soldier of some kind complete with a sword and shield while also carrying the magnet theme on its weapons and armour. With that, Amy ended her turn. It had now been two turns since Crush Card Virus had been activated. If Amy could survive the next turn, everything would change for the better for her. She blinked heavily as she suddenly felt her eyes beginning to weigh down a bit.

Don't pass out now, keep on going! You can make it to the end! she hissed to herself.

"So that's it Amy? You're just playing a tin soldier in Defence Mode?" Jack the Ripper crowed, "I don't see how that'll help you at all. Now let's see what I can do!"

He drew his next card and frowned in annoyance.

"Dammit!" he swore, "I drew a monster and it's too weak to get past your stupid Magnet Warrior's defences! Oh well, may as well play it anyway."

He played Dark Jeroid (1200ATK/1500DEF) in Attack Mode. Dark Jeroid was an even uglier creature than Masked Beast Des Gardius, looking like something out of a nightmare with no recognizable basis for its appearance at all. It had multiple arms and hands, two faces on its body and large spiked appendages protruding from behind its shoulders. Amy thought it looked like something a child might've designed, albeit a very disturbed child who needed professional help she might add.

"And given my Masked Beast is unable to attack thanks to Electric Lizard's effect, I'll just end my turn for now." Jack the Ripper declared.

Chloe raised an eyebrow in confusion.

"I don't get it, why did the Ripper play a monster that weak in Attack Mode even though it can't help him against Amy's magnet warrior?" the blonde girl asked curiously.

"It's because on his next turn, he'll be able to use Dark Jeroid to attack directly unless Amy plays another monster." Kazuki noted, "Also he feels confident that Amy won't be able to get rid of it because it also has an effect that weakens monsters by 800 attack points once it's played. So Amy will have to keep that magnet warrior in Defence Mode as she can't use it to destroy Dark Jeroid."

"Oh dear. I hope she draws another monster in that regard." Chloe said hopefully.

Amy echoed Chloe's thoughts as she drew her next card. She needed it to be another monster or else she was doomed. She looked at it and smiled happily.

"At least luck is still on my side." the red-head said happily, "OK, I'll set this monster face-down in Defence Mode." she announced, playing the card on her Duel Disk.

A holographic image of a face-down Duel Monsters card appeared beside Alpha the Magnet Warrior.

"And next I'll switch Alpha the Magnet Warrior into Attack Mode so it can attack your Dark Jeroid!" Amy announced, flipping the card to vertical on her Duel Disk.

"What?! That's crazy!" Chloe exclaimed, "Surely Amy knows that Dark Jeroid's weakened her monster!"

"Don't worry Chloe, I'm aware." Amy said reassuringly "And that's why I also activate my face-down Shrink card!"

Her Spell Card flipped face-up to reveal itself. The Ripper cried out in horror as Shrink took effect and Dark Jeroid's attack power was cut in half. The monster's holographic image also shrunk in size to go along with the card's shrinking theme. Now both Alpha the Magnet Warrior and Dark Jeroid were equal with 600 attack points. Amy ordered her warrior to attack. Alpha sprang towards Dark Jeroid and sliced it in half with its sword. Dark Jeroid was destroyed but so was Alpha the Magnet Warrior. When two Duel Monsters with identical attack faced each other, they were both destroyed during the Battle Phase. Now Amy only had her face-down monster left and Jack the Ripper only had his Masked Beast left. Kazuki nodded knowingly to Amy. He understood her plan as he'd seen her use the Magnet Warrior strategy before and he also understood that Amy wanted to get rid of Dark Jeroid so Jack the Ripper would only have one monster to attack with. She had to hope now he wouldn't draw another monster for his next turn.

"I'd call that a waste of a turn, Amy." the Dark Duellist sneered, "What did you accomplish exactly, just giving us both one less monster to use?"

"You shush. I know what I'm doing and the fun part is leaving you guessing what exactly I'm planning." Amy retorted.

"Whatever your plan is, it won't work." Jack the Ripper declared, "I'll defeat you and I'll have your soul delivered to Lord Hallows faster than you can say "Shadow Realm!"

"My soul isn't going anywhere and I'm gonna show you why." Amy said confidently, "You just watch."

She ended her turn. Three turns had passed since Crush Card Virus had activated. Now if she could survive this next turn, she could bring out her ultimate trump card to turn this despairing loss into a triumphant victory. The Ripper drew his next card but he hesitated as Lord Hallows spoke to him telepathically.

"I don't trust that girl one bit, Jack!" Hallows warned, "When she's acting as calm and collected as she is, that's a sure-fire sign she's plotting something and you need to be on your guard! Don't mess this up or else you'll be paying the consequences for it!"

"I'll be careful master, don't worry about it." the Ripper reassured.

"I'll be careful master, don't worry about it." the Ripper reassured.

He drew his next card and smiled to himself.

Nice one! I've drawn Dark Illusion! he purred in his mind, Now if Amy tries any Monster Effects or Spells and Traps that target my monsters, I'll negate them and destroy them so Amy won't be able to use anything too devastating against me! But that face-down monster of her's could still be a problem…

He knew too well that Trap Cards couldn't be activated immediately and had to be set first so if Amy's face-down monster had a powerful effect, Dark Illusion wouldn't work and he wouldn't be able to stop it. He set the card for in case Amy tried anything next turn. Now he was left choosing his next move very carefully. Should he attack Amy's monster or stay his hand for now? He wanted to attack but he couldn't risk losing a powerful monster like his Masked Beast. He had to keep it on the field if he had any hopes of winning this duel. Amy's monster might be harmless but it wasn't a risk worth taking. Gypsy and Garth hadn't played carefully and it had cost them their duels. No way was he risking losing to Amy while he was so close to winning now! He was claiming Amy's soul if it was the last thing he did!

"With that, I end my turn." the Ripper announced.

Kazuki was surprised at this. One of the Fiendish Five actually playing cautiously for once? How surprising! Then again, he would've been equally as cautious if he'd been in this situation.

"I'd be careful if I were you Ames." Kazuki warned, "I imagine the Ripper might have some trick up his sleeve."

"I've got that feeling to Kazuki." Amy concurred, "Hopefully it won't screw me over in the long run…"

She drew her next card. Just as she was about to look at it, she suddenly swayed on her feet. Chloe felt her heart skip a beat. Was Amy about to collapse? Amy could feel her head spinning from exhaustion. Her eyes were struggling to stay open. The blackness threatened to close around her as she came close to passing out. She had to stay awake for just a little longer, she just had to! Amy pinched herself on the thighs. Deliberately causing herself pain would keep her awake and fight off the tiredness. She winced as she pinched herself. Then she clapped herself on the cheeks. That definitely woke her up a bit. She shook her head, the tiredness momentarily shaken off for now. Kazuki smiled. Amy sure knew what she was doing in spite of everything. Hallows was going to have a hard time with her when their duel came!

"OK, here goes." Amy said as she looked at her new card, "I play my Twin-Barrel Dragon in Attack Mode!"

Her robotic gun-faced dinosaur creature materialized beside her face-down monster. Now it had been played, a coin formed in the palm of Amy's hand and she tossed it. She had to score two heads in order to destroy the Masked Beast Des Gardius or else it would be free to attack her on the Ripper's next turn. The Dark Duellist crossed his fingers in hope that Amy would fail. The teen girl caught the coin and placed it on top of her other hand. It was heads. Now she had to get another heads. She flipped the coin again. The world seemed to go in slow-motion in those brief seconds the coin was airborne and spinning again and again as it made its way down towards Amy. Chloe held her breath, praying Amy would get another heads. Amy caught the coin and placed it on top of her other hand. It was another heads!

"YES!" Amy cheered, punching the air excitedly, "Now my Twin-Barrel Dragon can destroy your Masked Beast!"

But Jack the Ripper was ready for her.

"That's where you're wrong Amy!" he cackled, "I activate my Trap Card, Dark Illusion!" he threw his hand up as the card flipped face-up to reveal itself to his opponent.

"No fucking way, you had that face-down?!" Amy shrieked.

"Duh, I'm a specialist in DARK attribute monsters so of course I have the necessary support for them." the Ripper retorted, "Dark Illusion allows me to negate the effect of any Monster Effect, Spell or Trap card that targets my monsters and destroys it! So say bye-bye to your ridiculous toy dinosaur!"

Amy cried out as Twin-Barrel Dragon self-destructed as a result of this. Her dragon had failed to destroy the Masked Beast Des Gardius and now it was gone. Amy had hoped she could use it to attack the Ripper directly after it had gotten rid of the Masked Beast. But fortunately, she still had one last ace up her sleeve for this.

"Clever you to have that ready for me." Amy complimented, "But unfortunately for you, I kinda suspected you might have a Trap Card that could screw me over. Twin-Barrel Dragon was just the bait to make you use it up. Now you're unprotected, it's safe for me to do this!"

She Flip-Summoned her face-down monster, revealing it to be Man-Eater Bug. Jack the Ripper screamed in horror as the vicious insect was revealed to him. Man-Eater Bug's effect was a Flip Effect so now Amy had flipped it face-up, it could use its effect to destroy the Masked Beast Des Gardius. Man Eater Bug slashed at the hideous creature and destroyed it instantly with no damage to itself. The Ripper growled angrily. He'd been right to be cautious of Amy's face-down monster and yet he'd still lost his Masked Beast despite this! Trust Amy to have a monster effect that activated when flipped! Unfortunately for her, his Masked Beast had a handy little effect.

"Nice try you little bitch, but I also have contingencies of my own!" the Ripper crowed, "When the Masked Beast is sent to the Graveyard, I get to equip a monster of yours with the Mask of Remnant from my Deck! This allows me to control your monster!"

He took the card from his deck and slotted it into his Duel Disk. A grotesque looking mask materialized onto the field and attached itself to Amy's Man-Eater Bug. It jumped over to his side of the field, standing guard in front of his Life Points instead of Amy's. Now Amy couldn't attack him directly but he could use her own monster to attack her on the next turn. But Amy knew otherwise. She laughed mockingly at her opponent.

"What the hell are you laughing at you crazy woman?!" the Ripper demanded.

"The fact you keep deluding yourself into thinking you have control of this duel when you don't." Amy jeered, "Ever since you played that Crush Card Virus, I've been doing my best to stall you so I could play this awesome move of mine. And it's all thanks to you for using Card Destruction and Crush Card Virus to get my Magnet Warriors in the Graveyard!"

"What do you mean? You're bluffing, surely?" the Ripper said feebly.

"Of course she's not bluffing you idiot!" Hallows snapped, "She's been stringing you along this whole time and now you're about to suffer the consequences of your own stupidity!"

"Does this look like a bluff?" Amy crowed, "Thanks to you, I have all three Magnet Warriors plus Delta the Magnet Warrior in my Graveyard. This allows me to use Delta's special ability! If it's sent to the Graveyard, I get to banish three Magnet Warriors from my Graveyard except for Delta and Special Summon Valkyrion the Magna Warrior from my Deck in spite of its summoning conditions! At long last, I finally get to use it and it's gonna bring the pain Ripper! And unfortunately for you, your stupid Crush Card Virus is no longer in effect so I can summon it! Valkyrion, come to the field!"

Alpha, Beta and Gamma were whisked out of the Graveyard and into Amy's banished zone. Out of her deck came Valkyrion the Magna Warrior (3500ATK/3800DEF). It was Amy's strongest non-Fusion monster in her deck and a monster Jack the Ripper had no hope of matching. It looked like a fusion of Alpha, Beta and Gamma the Magnet Warriors with pieces of their bodies all combined together to make Valkyrion. It had a yellow helmet with magnet shaped horns on either side, large pink wings, a mostly silver body and it carried a large sword with a magnet shaped hilt in its hand. In the past two duels, Valkyrion had been stuck in Amy's hand unable to be summoned. Now it was finally out on the field and able to attack! Chloe stared in awe at Valkyrion.

"That's the coolest Duel Monster I've ever seen!" she whispered in wonder.

"To think the Ripper accidentally helped Amy summon it." Kazuki chuckled, "I bet that really annoys him now!"

"I can't believe this! You too have a monster that can be summoned with requirements from the Graveyard too?!" Jack the Ripper exclaimed.

"Sure do!" Amy crowed, "It was lucky for me I found at least one Delta the Magnet Warrior to go with the other Magnet Warriors to give me this alternative way of summoning it! Now Valkyrion destroy Man-Eater Bug!" she ordered.

The mighty magnet warrior charged towards the possessed Man-Eater Bug and sliced it in half with one single swing of its sword. Man-Eater Bug was destroyed instantly and 3050 Life Points were lost for the Ripper. Now he only had 1750 left. It had definitely been a huge turn up for the books. The Dark Duellist had gone from obviously going to win to now fighting for survival. Amy was so thrilled at being able to play her Magna Warrior that she no longer felt the fatigue of her drained life force. It was as if Valkyrion had restored it for her with its presence. Lord Hallows clutched the arms of his chair in astonishment.

"I never could've guessed Amy had a card like that in her deck and could pull off a play like that!" he exclaimed, "I'll definitely have to avoid filling her Graveyard up with those Magnet Warriors if I don't want to face that Valkyrion creature…"

The Ripper was left momentarily shaken from the last turn. He could already feel his soul being ripped out of his body now. There was no way he could win now! Valkyrion was way too powerful and he had no cards left that he could use. If only he hadn't used Card Destruction earlier! He wouldn't have unintentionally helped Amy fill up her Graveyard with the Magnet Warriors to pull off this move! His hands trembled as he drew his next card.

"Please let this be good! I don't want to lose my soul!" he whimpered.

He looked at the card. In that moment, his worries went away. This one definitely had to work! Amy wouldn't dare attack him with this card on the field!

"Let's see you get past this, sweetheart!" the Ripper crowed, his voice on the edge of hysteria, "I play a second Fiend's Sanctuary!"

He played his card and a Metal Token materialized onto the field. Amy took this in with complete disinterest. She folded her arms and gazed at her opponent coolly as if to say "You seriously just did that? You fool!" Kazuki shared her expression. Why did the Ripper think that would work?

"Ripper…how stupid do you think I am?" Amy snorted, "I know exactly what you're planning here. You want me to attack your Metal Token and thus kill myself because any Battle Damage the token takes is given to me instead of you. How much of an amateur do you think I am that I don't know how Fiend's Sanctuary works?"

"Dammit! I was banking on you not knowing that!" the Ripper whimpered.

"Well too bad." Amy said sarcastically, "Besides, you've fucked yourself over too because you need to pay 1000 Life Points in order to keep that thing on the field. So I could easily just not attack you and let that thing suck your Life Points dry. You've literally just created an unwinnable situation here!"

Chloe couldn't help but laugh at this.

"Lord Hallows should hire smarter duellists!" she jeered.

Hallows was equally as unimpressed with the Ripper.

"YOU INCOMPETENT IMBECILE!" he bellowed at him telepathically, "DID YOU EVEN THINK CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU MADE THAT MOVE?!"

"M-master please, it was all I could do! It's the only card I had to use!" the Ripper said feebly.

"Your excuses won't save you now boy!" Hallows snarled, "Now let's see how Amy will finish you off, shall we?! I may as well just declare her the winner now but I'll enjoy getting to see how badly she makes you suffer for your stupidity!"

All eyes were on Amy as she made her next move.

"You fought a good duel Ripper, but I'm afraid it's all over for you." Amy announced, "I'm sorry you have to lose your soul, but it has to be this way if it means getting my brother's back. I now play Trap Master!"

She called forth a strange magician-like monster in a red top hat that looked more like a giant pair of pincers and a green cape. It had an organic top half but no legs. Instead it had a bunch of dangerous tools like a drill, a saw, a chainsaw and giant shears. It looked like something from a horror-themed circus. Trap Master (500ATK/1100DEF) was a handy monster that could destroy Trap Cards with its Flip Effect. But Amy didn't need it to destroy any Trap Cards. She ordered Trap Master to destroy the Metal Token. With only 500 attack points, Trap Master wouldn't do much damage to Amy as it destroyed the Metal Token. Amy's Life Points went down to 600. As she hadn't lost 1000 Life Points, no more candles blew out and she didn't lose anymore of her life force. With the Metal Token gone, there was nothing stopping Amy as she ordered Valkyrion the Magna Warrior to attack directly. As much as she didn't want to condemn another person to the Shadow Realm, she knew she had to. Valkyrion rushed towards Jack the Ripper and sliced into him with its mighty sword. The Ripper screamed in pain as he was hit and his Life Points dropped all the way down to zero. Amy had defeated the third member of the Fiendish Five! The moment the Ripper's Life Points went to zero, all the candles on Amy's side of the field flickered back into life again. Their flames burned as if they'd never gone out. Amy felt her strength and energy returning, no longer feeling fatigued by the loss of her life force. Feel re-energized, she cheered for herself.

"I did it again! I did it again!" she cheered, "I thought this duel was all over for me but nope, I won again!"

"You sure did! Great going Amy!" Chloe hollered, "It was so awesome when you got out that Magna Warrior!"

"You really made great use of your deck in that duel!" Kazuki complimented, "And you even took advantage of some of your opponent's plays too! You're definitely quite the duellist despite being new at this!"

"I know!" Amy exclaimed, "I still can't believe I'm really doing as well as I am here!"

Their cheering was cut short as Lord Hallows returned to the room, applauding Amy for her victory again.

"You're our rising star, little Amy!" he purred, "Defeating three of my Fiendish Five in a row! That was definitely unexpected. I think our duel will be more fun than I ever would've expected."

"You won't think that when I kick your ass Hallows!" Amy snarled.

"You will try, child. But you will fail. I am not as easy to defeat as my minions are!" Hallows crowed.

He then turned to Jack the Ripper. The Dark Duellist was already in tears and blubbering like a baby before he'd even said a word to him. Hallows pointed his cane at the frightened boy.

"Not even you could stop Amy. Such a disappointment…I thought you had her in the palm of your hand when you played that Crush Card Virus." Hallows muttered, "No matter, your soul belongs to me now and I'll make you sorry you ever failed me!"

His cane swallowed up the Ripper's soul and left him as an empty, soulless husk just like Gypsy and Garth before him. Amy's face remained blank. She no longer had the energy in her to react to this anymore. She just wanted this nightmare to be over with already. Hallows turned to Amy.

"Now then, shall we move onto Number 4?" he offered, "You'll find her an interesting duellist, I'm sure…"

Amy squared her shoulders and followed Hallows out of the room. Chloe and Kazuki followed them. Three members were down, two were left. Amy could only hope they would be easier than the last three had been…

It was a close one but Amy managed to pull through in the end thanks to Valkyrion the Magna Warrior. Now she's onto Fiendish Five member Number 4. What will she be in for in that duel? Find out as we move onto the next duel with "Amy vs. Amethyst"...

Trivia: I don't really have any for this chapter.
