Hermione Ganger was madly in love with Harry Potter. It just had to be. I mean, isn't it true that the hero of every story automatically has to be madly in love with his best friend? Anyway, this is what happened when they finally got around to confessing their undying love for each other.

Hermione walks up to Harry.

Hermione: Harry, I've been meaning to tell you this for a very, very, very long time. I know that there is absolutely no canon about this.... Whatsoever... but I need to tell you. I am deeply, madly, unstoppably in love with you.

Harry: That's nice Hermione.

Hermione: Its true Harry, completely true! Never mind all the hints that JKR has dropped about Ron and me! We'll just pretend we never read chapter 23 of the Goblet of Fire!

Harry: Oh, OK. If you say so.

Harry continues eating his lollipop.

Hermione: OK...... What now?

Harry: Well, I suppose we should clear out the whole Ron being in love with you factor, that may get in the way of our undying love for each other.

Hermione: Well..... How about we set him up with Luna lovegood or one of those other cannonless ships that you see out there.

Harry: That's always a possibility. We could also just tell him that we're madly in love and see if he minds, He wasn't that bad about Victor, I'm sure he'll have nothing wrong with you!!!

At this point Ron walks up to them.

Ron: Hey guys, what's up?

Harry: I'm not sure, what were we talking about Hermione?

Hermione: I was just confessing my amazingly strong love for Harry. That's OK with you, right?

Ron: Ya, sure. Its not like I'd get jealous or anything. Its not like all those hints JKR dropped in GoF and OotP meant anything.

Hermione: OK, good.

Ron: I'm gonna go find someone else to pour my heart over now that you're taken see ya!

They then all wave merrily and go their separate ways.
