21. The Venom Rider I

Time to answer the reviews:

KingJGamer: Not a bad thought, but I think I have the perfect idea of introducing Links in the story. I would like to write a 6 Battle Royale, but that would be insanely tough for me to write, and I can't fit it. Sorry to tell you, but Yuri won't be using Super Polymerization and be related to Yubel. I wrote that Kite was from a different dimension so him using XYZ isn't anything that is shocking to him and his people.

Guest: Oh, trust me, Yuri is going to be the hardest one to take down, maybe even harder than Kagemaru.

It was a few days after the Photon Rider, Kite Tenjo, was defeated, and those were silent days. Both the Key Keeper and Shadow Rider, Chazz and Kite, were in hospital beds, but Kite was in a room that was much more safer and comfortable than Chazz, and was a good walk away from the infirmary due to him being a Shadow Rider and they wanted to have some questions about them when they wake up since Dennis, the Entertainer Rider, looked as he would be waking up any day now.

Truth be told, the remaining Key Keepers thought that Kite was a nice person to be around, he didn't talk back to his opponent, saw them as beneath them, or even harmed them in any way, he just dueled them and that's about it.

Not to mention that the XYZ summoning method does seem like an interesting concept to them.

Two or more monsters on the field with the same Level Fusioning together without a need of a Ritual or a Fusion card, but does have the restrictions of not being able to activate their effects if they didn't have any 'Overlay Units'. They even thought about adding those types of monsters, especially Zane since he always wanted a way to summon his Cyber End Dragon even faster, with maybe an added negate along with it.

The Night after the duel was hard to explain to every detail. From freezing time, to Chazz challenging him to a duel, to being told that he was holding back, and once he did oh boy that sure changed the tide, to the XYZ summoning method, to the details of Kite's Galaxy-Eyes Dragons like Photon, Cipher, Prime Photon and Neo Galaxy-Eyes Dragons, to the fact that Chazz was able to hold back and even overpower him in short time, to the last duel at the match between VWXYZ - Dragon Catapult Cannon and Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon and then the ending of the duel, a draw.

Not an usual way to end a duel if they were being honest.

Sure they weren't the rarest thing in the world, but a draw is not really common when dueling. Most of the time it would be a winner and the person that lost the duel, but where two people lost the duel is an interesting way of showing their strengths. The only time there would be a draw outside of this one was the School Duel where Chazz almost made a draw in the duel, but with only a card left he won the duel.

The reactions of when they heard about the entire duel and what happened was what they fully expected. Syrus and Chumley were scared of the entire thing, the image of a space-like dragon that was bigger than that of the Legendary Red-Eyes Black Dragon and even Blue-Eyes White Dragon was terrifying to them to the point that when they were done with talking about the duel, they were hugging each other while Yusuke kept a cool head, but Zane could tell that he was on the same boat as his younger brother.

The thought that someone like Kite, not holding back at the start of the duel would be a nightmare that, realistically, the Kaiser could only fight back and get off a win.

Until a thought came to their mind…

…is there someone that were Shadow Riders that were tough as, or even more terrifying, even tougher than Kite?

That was hard to imagine, but if a new Summoning Method was possible, anything is.

Especially one night where everyone felt as if a dark presence arrived on the island.

A dark, evil, sadistic, pain giving presence on the island.

The boy, known as Yuri, arrived on the shore of the Academy Island and had the greatest idea of attacking everyone. Yuri was 15 years old and was as high as one. The boy wore a purple suit of which the back side reached down on his knees. The upper part of his body, or his jacket, was purple as well with golden shoulder pads. He wore a red cape that reached towards his hips and wore light blue jeans with tight gray boots.

His eyes were red as blood. He had very thick, but short, pink eyebrows as his hair was a mixture of both purple and pink. The purple part of his hair reached his eyes and even the back of his head, while the pink side of his hair was on the backside of his head. On his hips was a belt that contained his duel disk that was that of the regular duel disk made during Battle City and his purple deck box, hearing his 3 dragons roaring in excitement.

"Now, now you three. I know that you are excited, but remember," Yuri grinned ear to ear, "we have to reach some students before you could destroy them, but I think it will take me some time to get there."

His dragons whined as Yuri chuckled at his white dragon, "But there is an upside."

The dragons stopped whining as they looked at their master as he began walking towards Duel Academy, "It will be an all you can eat buffet there once I get in." he said as he and his dragons began laughing.

It was slow and soft, but with every second and every minute grew maniacal. It started to scare some small creatures like rabbits, to birds, and even scaring Wheeler and his family as they ran away from the sadistic, venomous boy and cackling from his monsters.

The laugh grew louder and louder, if that was even possible, and as then it woke several students and even teachers as the sounds of a wild animal- no, as if a monster was near them. And not the Duel Monsters kind, but a wild monster from fiction that came to the island and hunted to destroy and devour anything in its path.

It was like a monster of destruction.

It made facing monsters like the Vampire Rider and the Clear Rider seem less scary by comparison.

The sounds kept them awake as if they even slept for a moment, the monster would eat, or even, kill them while they were asleep, but they knew that even if they weren't awake…

…they would all meet their fate meeting this beast.

The laughter stopped as Yuri did too as he roared, like a monster in a horror game, "Beware, Duel Academy! From the wrath of The Strongest that the Shadow Riders could give you!"

"The Venom Rider!" he roared as just like that, no one could sleep for that night.

The Very Next Day

Rumours. Like the Duel Giant and the vampire before him, the rumours have been spread out like butter on a pan. No one could stop talking about the noise and the laughter of the monster on Academy Island.

Sure it could be a rumour and myth that all of them heard a demonic like laughter at the same time of the night, with three dragons cackling with it…okay now it really didn't sound like a rumour.

It started off just like a rumour, but then more and more students kept talking about it to the point of not even sounding like a rumour and more like a fact.

Some said it was a werewolf, some may say it was Damon playing around with the monkeys again, some say it was a monster that came on Duel Academy, but the gang that we all know, thought something different.

"Sssoooo…have you heard about the rumours?" asked Jaden as he leaned in his chair at Stein's lecture that he definitely, no way, won't sleep in as he asked his friends about the noises.

"Are you kidding, Jay?! I can't stop hearing about it!" yelled Syrus as he hugged his legs together, rocking back and forth at the rumours of a potential monster on Duel Academy campus, "How can I not hear about a big scary monster running around Duel Academy! Gah! How am I going to live?!"

"Syrus, you do realize that can't be the case right?" asked Yusuke as he tried to calm down Syrus, who couldn't stop rocking back and forth at just the thoughts about the monster last night.

Bastion crossed his arms together as he closed his eyes, "I am afraid that isn't the case here, I am afraid Yusuke." They looked at the Ra Yellow as Syrus went faster and faster, "With the way the Shadow Riders have shown their powers, Camula with her castle, Dennis with his circus, Kite and his watch that slowed down time and…" Bastion blushed, "Tania's Colosseum where we both showed our compassion! Our love! Our pride!"

"Dude. Come on," said Celina as she brought him back to reality, "Keep your pants together."

Bastion shook his head from the imagery as he continued on what he was about to say, "Right. What I was about to say was, that I don't think it is just a rumour, it could be reality due to the powers of those charms that they wear, could be the way of their powers."

That was hard to swallow.

While that does sound unusual in most ways, with how the Shadow Riders have shown their powers and their dueling capabilities, it wasn't something to take down lightly. And if they were true, they have to be careful with every step during the duel.

Even though they didn't have the Spirit Keys with them, or at all, it wasn't fair that their friends had to take down something like that thing that made those sounds in the night, especially Chazz after his duel with Kite, the Photon Rider.

"That's a hard pill to swallow." said Celina as she stopped Syrus with her hand.

"Way to say it." said Alexis as she nodded her head in agreement.

"But how can we help?" asked Yusuke as he looked at everyone, "If it does exist, how can we help you in the fight against it? I can't let you guys just battle that thing alone."

"Yeah! We can't allow you guys to fight alone!" yelled Syrus, getting the class' attention.

"Right! If that thing has a chance against all of us then they are greatly mistaken!" yelled Chumley in agreement as almost everyone was questioning why a senior was with them.

"You know what they say, the more the merrier." said Celina as she was glad that not just 4 juniors and 1 senior are fighting for the faith of the world.

"And, we together, could make a great team." said Alexis as Bastion nodded at the words of the younger Rhodes sibling.

"I concur, with our consolidation, the Shadow Rider will have difficulties against all of us at the same time." said Bastion as he sat down as he saw Stein turning towards them. He motioned to all of his friends that they should sit down which everyone except for a certain brown haired oblivious boy did so.

The certain brown haired oblivious boy stood up and punched the air, "Oh yeah! Nothing is going to stand in our way now!" he said as Stein looked at him.

"Jaden," the deep-sounding voice said as Jaden widened his eyes at the voice, "sit down and detention for a week for disrupting the class," the brunette sat down muttering how they also disturbed class, but no one was blamed for it other than him.

Stein looked at Chumley, "Also, Chumley Huffington. What are you doing here with the juniors?" he asked as Chumley stood up.

"Uhm…I forgot my way to my class?" he chuckled nervously as Stein sighed, no wonder Crowler talked badly about the Slifers before he arrived.

"Fine, you can go, but please don't make that mistake again, alright?" he asked Chumley nodded and went to the exit. He shook his head as he took out his book, talking about Ancient Egypt and the Millenium Items.

Something in them told them that their horrible feeling in their gut about the monster being near them.

Meanwhile with Yuri

At long last, Yuri arrived on the campus of Duel Academy and looked forward. He had to admit, it looked honestly very nice with the sleek yellow metal and the stone statues representing the Egyptian God cards were a nice add on, but too bad for them, that they won't admire this place for too long.

He had some ideas of first on who to attack first. The brown haired kid? No, he won't satisfy his taste. The purple haired girl? She seems pretty boring for him to destroy, but more fun than the brown haired boy. The blue haired senior? Yuri chuckled.

Now that is a person he had to duel, and can't wait to see the lost hope and despair once he sends even one of his dragons against him, or even better, all three of his powerful dragons.

He opened the door of the entrance of Duel Academy and walked into the building. He had to admit again, despite how nice the outside looked of Duel Academy, the inside of it was even better.

The first room when he entered the school was a massive one with many ways of going to classrooms, with chairs and tables all over the place, but in an organized way, a vending machine, which he used to get a soda from it, and even a couch.

He drank the can of soda to the last spill as he dropped it and crushed, like how he would crush anyone in his way with a wicked smile on his face. He stretched out his arm and began walking down the halls to find even one of the Key Keepers.

As he was walking to one of the halls, he tried to open even just one of the rooms, but they were either empty or locked, much to his dismay, as he walked at the widened halls, but he stopped when he accidentally bumped into someone.

"Hey! Watch where you are goin- Wait, why aren't you in class?" asked Crowler as he looked at Yuri, confused as to why this 15 year old purple pink haired boy wasn't in class.

Sure he was confused on why he was even here in the first place and why he hasn't seen him yet, but then again he was probably an exchange student they had, so it would make sense on why he hasn't seen him.

"Oh? Me?" he placed a hand on his chest and as he laughed, "Oh, I am not a student here, I am here beca-"

"Nonsense! Of course, you are a student here! Otherwise, why else would a 15 year old boy, who is the same age as my other students, be here in a dueling school!" said Crowler before Yuri could even finish his sentence.

"Look, teach, I am not a student here so you can't really-"

"It's DOCTOR to you!" Crowler shook his head, he needed to keep a cool head, "Look…student that I don't know the name of, you are going to class wherever you like it or not! Even the Slifer Slacker goes to class, despite him sleeping through the lessons, but still he goes there!"

Yuri rubbed his temples at the teacher's voice, he wondered how anyone could like him, as a person or even a teacher.

But before Yuri could open his mouth, Crowler took him by the shoulders and dragged him to class. He remembers that Marco had class with the first years as well. He dragged The Venom Rider, literally, to Marco's class, yelled why he was dragging a student and pushed him in the room.

The Venom Rider sighed as he stood up. He apologized for being late and walked to his chair. He sat on it as he couldn't remember what page they were on so he asked the nearest student near him.

"Hey, what page are we on?" Yuri asked as the student showed him the nearest page.

"It's 97, man. You really gotta remember this, man, or you are never going to pass." said the student that was the nearest to Yuri.

"Okay, thank you Jimmy. And I will try." said Yuri as Jimmy nodded, doing his homework.

"Don't mention it, man." said Jimmy.

Yuri pulled out a book and pen underneath the table and went through the pages until he was on page 97. He stretched a little as he began writing the answers.

A second passed as he stopped.

"Wait, what the hell am I doing?" No, seriously what was Yuri even doing right now? Acting like a student? He looked over to see his dragons giving him weird looks.

He shook his head as he stood up, "Hey, everyone." everyone turned to face him, ignoring Professor Marco's words of doing his work, "I challenge all of you to a duel."

"And why would I allow that? In my classroom no less?" asked Marco as Yuri grinned.

"I'll bet my Watapon if I lose." said Yuri as everyone in the room got their duel disks as Yuri got to the opposite side of the room with the other half on the sidelines or near the entrance.

He looked over to the student, and he knew that whatever he was doing, wasn't even close enough to be called an amature. He shook his head as he looked at the other students and let them join him in the duel so he could crush all of them.

He took out his duel disk and placed it on his arm and the duel disk's bottom part wrapped on his arm. The duel disk slots were then slotted out immediately as his duel disk allowed for his deck to be slotted in, to which he did so.

The duel disk in itself is different from the others. It was much tinier and was like a machine that shrunk when it wasn't used, but turned big when used. The Duel disk had buttons on the back, which were pink. The screen was something like a tablet, small, but effective as it showed the life points and the hand size. The slots were also different, as the monster slots were purple, but the back row was red, a rose kind of red.

The four students looked at Yuri's duel disk, shocked and impressed by the new look, but shook their heads as they began the duel, but something told them that this wasn't going to be easy, judging by the massive smirk on Yuri's face.

The four students looked at Yuri as they all yelled at the same time, "DUEL!"

Couple of Hours Later

Doctor Vellian Crowler was walking down the halls, angry that Slifer Slacker was able to get a B on his test, which shocked him, but also angered him to no end. Sure while he had no more problems with the Slifer Red, it still angered him that someone like him could pass the test.

But with every step, he hears screams. Screams of terror and begging from the duelists that were that both students and teachers. The more he listens the more he is terrified of it.

He walked as quickly as possible, step by step as he then saw what terrified him.

The monster from those stupid rumours, the thing that made all of those noises, was real.

His eyes widened at the look of the boy and was shocked that it was the same boy that he saw earlier, the boy he dragged to class. And he saw him summoning a massive white dragon with crystals on its body and slammed the poor students and teachers to the ground.

He walked over them, not even phased on what just happened and raised his arm and with a click of a button…

…turned them into cards.

Crowler shut himself up and quickly hid behind the wall. He couldn't believe it. He saw him, kill them.

And turned into cards.

He needed to alert everyone he could, so he decided to pick up Shepherd on his phone, but his eyes widened when he saw that he was offline. He gritted his teeth as he took out his PDA and alerted everyone about this threat, including that Slifer Slacker.

Which of course led to a certain bluenette screaming for his dear life as it could be heard that he was clinging on to his older brother.

"Oh?" the Venom Rider turned around to the sounds of the noise as he grinned remembering those screams from one of the earlier Shadow Duels, "So that's where they are." He began walking down where he heard the noise, but the good doctor took out his duel vest and his deck from his deck box.

"Oh no you don't!" Yuri turned around as he saw Crowler with his duel disk on, "You are not even looking at them while I am around!"

"You?" Yuri scoffed, "Full offense, but you didn't even know I wasn't a student here. And I told you like 3 times."

"I know that I should have listened to your words as soon as I heard you say that, but I won't forgive myself if I let you attack my students! So let's get this started!" yelled Crowler as Yuri laughed as he raised his duel disk.

"Alright, since you are so confident." he smirked as he shuffled everything and both of them drew 5 cards and yelled at the same time, "DUEL!"

Despite Crowler doing the best he can, even summoning his strongest monster, Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem, and dealing well over 2500 points of damage, he would still feel the wrath and might of the Venom Rider as he summoned his dark coloured dragon with 2 orbs around it.

Couple of Hours Later

Despair, ruined, lonely, empty, almost destroyed. Those were the words that could best describe the situation the Venom Rider has caused. It was nothing, but destruction. It claws of the dragons used from the duels, cards with peoples faces all over them, and the worst part of it were the footsteps.

They were slow, and patient, but those were the worst parts since almost everyone felt despair whenever it came closer and closer towards them.

The class rooms were empty with only the cards everywhere like there was a party there. The only places that were closed were the Card Shop, the staff room, Chancellor's room and the infirmary where they kept Chazz, which made them happy that at least he was safe.

Not one Duel Spirit was around as even they were terrified of just the looks of the dragons as they were not only dominant in the Spirit World, but also in the real world dealt by the Venom Rider.

Every time they would hear a student, they were too late from it, one of their main goals were destroyed, but they haven't lost all hope yet. He will be defeated.

They split into groups of 2, with the two Slifer Reds being the first team due to big attack points of Roidman and Master of Oz, Alexis and Bastion being in the same team due to them having great Ritual based decks and are able to bounce off each other, Celina and Zane in the same team due to them having great beat down and spam strategy, and if all else fails, Yusuke and Jaden due to them having the best graveyard effects.

They all nodded to each other to strike at him in different areas, Syrus and Chumley at the halls, Alexis and Bastion at the lobby of Duel Academy, Zane and Celina at the exit of Duel Academy and, finally, Jaden and Yusuke in the forest.

The gang all gave each other reassuring looks that they will win and get back everyone that they lost.

But first, they had to get out of the building first and the fact that the Venom Rider was getting closer and closer, it wasn't getting easier to reach that goal, so it was hard, but Chumley and Syrus had to duel him first.

Zane gave his little brother a reassuring pat on the shoulders and the rest gave them a thumbs up for their bravery as the two Slifer Reds ran towards Yuri.

"Hey, onion boy!" Yelled Chumley as Yuri turned, somewhat offended and impressed.

"Okay, that is a new one." Yuri nodded at that somewhat weird insult.

"You aren't going anywhere, and if you do, then trust me, you are not going to like it." Syrus said, trying his best not to sound scared as he readied his duel disk.

"Said the last 9 students and look where it got them." said Yuri as he took out his deck and placed it in his duel disk.

Chumley gulped, but he shook his head. If his friend could be confident in a situation like this, then he can as well, "W-Well, you still aren't going anywhere!"

"You want to bet on it?" asked Yuri with a smirk on his face as he saw the other Slifer Red ready his duel disk.

They all yelled at the same time, "DUEL!"

The duel was going better than the duel against Crowler, but it didn't mean it was getting any easier for them. While Syrus did summon Roidman in attack mode with a boosted attack points of 8600 and Chumley summoning out his strongest ace monster, Master of Oz, with a whopping 4200 attack points.

But something about the Venom Rider just didn't sit well with them as even though he had 2100 life points left with 2 cards left in his hand, judging on all of the comebacks that their friends made, knew that a big turn was going to happen and a big turn did happen as they saw the monster that their friends better not see.

A big venomous dragon appeared on his side of the field with a MASSIVE attack points of 15 600! What was worse that it was able to attack Roidman, but also Master Of Oz, which resulted in both of them getting defeated in one turn, not before Syrus could saying something of the words of, "Za…ne, hel…p me."

And then they were both carded, but something in him told him that he should pick up Syrus' card for later.

Yuri took a breather, he quite needed one after such an easy duel, but he has to do something about the Key Keepers, there were still 5 of them! The brown haired guy, the black haired guy, the blue haired guy, and two girls with blonde or purple hair.

He walked towards the halls and enjoyed the destruction that he caused. Sure it wasn't as destructive as he wanted, but the scratches were a good detail.

He thought about how fun today was. He had to duel almost the entire school, almost the entire staff, one of the two former Key Keepers and dueled some schmucks that no one would really care about. If he wasn't on his way to get the Spirit Keys, he would have destroyed the entire building.

And then soon he reached the lobby, one of the few rooms he didn't duel anyone. As he bought another soda from the vending machine and took a sip.

He then heard two sets of footsteps coming towards them with their own duel disks and decks ready. Ready for everyone. "So, you are the monster we heard about last night."

Yuri didn't get shocked, he was expecting this, "Why of course it was me, Yuri." He turned around and saw his two opponents, with a smirk on his face, "Who else would it be? That he-she that you call a teacher?" he asked.

Bastion gripped his hand, angered at words at such a horrible person saying that to one of his teachers, but he needed to keep a cool head, that's what it was needed against someone like this. "His name is Crowler, Yuri. But why would you do that?"

"Do what?" Yuri took another sip of the soda, nonchalantly.

Alexis gritted her teeth at the sounds of how disrespectful he is to everyone, "Oh, I don't know, maybe that you nearly destroyed the school and harmed the innocent!"

"And why shouldn't I do that?" Their eyes widened at the sound of that as Yuri threw the can away as he leaned in the vending machine.

"What?" they both asked at the same time.

"I said, why shouldn't I do that. I mean, it is fun to see how they react when they are cornered, begging for mercy when I take them out, never to be seen again as they feel their life going through their eyes. It is the reason why I even joined them, to see the despair out of all of you." said Yuri as he enjoyed their looks of shock, anger and rage, but tried to keep it together.

"So, you find that fun?" asked Bastion

"Yup." Yuri said, popping the p.

"And you feel no remorse in any shape or form?" asked Alexis as Yuri merely nodded. She turned her head and the Ra Yellow turned his attention to her as well, and without even communicating through words, knew what they were about to say. She sighed, "Let's just duel."

"Oh, really?" Yuri said with fake enthusiasm, "Oh I can't wait! But how should we do this? A triangle duel? A 1 v 1? A 2 v 1?"

Bastion walked away for a decent distance, " duel. You have 2 turns per round while we have only 1, we share the field and graveyard, but you can only deal someone damage if you attack a specific target and if a monster is destroyed, the owner of the monster loses damage." he stated as Alexis agreed with the rules.

"That's it? Well, that's fine by me!" He took his deck out and placed it in his duel disk.

They both looked at each other before yelling, "DUEL!" and then, the Spirit Keys started shaking.

Yuri: 8000 lp

Bastion: 4000 lp

Alexis: 4000 lp

Turn 1.

"Since this is a big disadvantage, I'll start the duel!" Yuri yelled as he drew the top card and looked at it and grinned at his hand. "I will summon my Predaplant Squid Drosera in defense position."

On Yuri's side of the field appeared a massive brown and green drosera with some parts of the top and on the bottom with eyes coming from the tree trunk, 5 on the front and 5 on the back of the tree with the top side of the tree resembling that of a squid, like the name would suggest. It was in a lowered position.

(Predaplant Squid Drosera: Level 2 - Dark Plant - Attack: 800. Defense: 400.)

"Predaplant…" Alexis narrowed her eyes at the newly summoned monster as she was confused at the archetype the Venom Rider would play. She turned to Bastion, "Do you have any ideas about this archetype?"

"I am afraid not, but by judging on how Kite was able to use XYZ summoning, it is safe to say he should be able to summon a monster such as one of those." On Bastion's side of his face, a sweat drop ran down on his face.

"You know I can hear you, right?" Yuri asked as the other 2 glared at him. He shrugged his shoulders as he took a card from his hand, "I will now end my turn with a face down. I can't wait to see you try and defeat me." said Yuri as he grinned and a card was set vertically behind Predaplant Squid Drosera.

Turn 2.

Bastion turned to Alexis, as she did to discuss their plan, "I believe I should go first as my deck has a better way of going second than yours, and is better for any situation. What do you say?" said Bastion as Alexis looked at her.

"I believe that would be the best case, so you can go ahead." said Alexis as Bastion.

"Very well then. I draw!" yelled Bastion as he looked at his hand and the newly drawn card. He placed the newly drawn card as he took out one of the cards in his hand, "I activate the Spell, Pre-Preparations of Rites!"

The Spell card appeared on the Ra Yellow's side of the field as he began to explain, "This card allows me to add a Ritual Spell card from my deck, and then a Ritual monster whose name is in its text description." The black haired teen took out his deck, two specific cards and then returned it back to his deck. He then showed the two cards he added, "I chose Rebirth of Nephthys and Cerulean Sacred Phoenix Of Nephthys!"

"Nephthys?" both of the two other duelists asked at the same time as Alexis smiled, "That's a brilliant strategy, Bastion!"

"Thank you, but it is the beginning of my turn," Bastion took out a card from his hand, "I will now summon my Disciple of Nephthys!"

On the Ra Yellow Key Keeper's field appeared a petite sun tanned girl on the field with golden sandals, black gauntlets on her calves, a red dress, a necklace with a white feather, two gauntlets on her hands, a hat with a head of a phoenix, dark eyes and dark hair with orange highlights on the end of her hair.

(Disciple of Nephthys: Level 2 - Wind Spellcaster - Attack: 0. Defense: 2000.)

Bastion then took a card from his hand directly to his face, "Disciple's effect activates! I destroy one card from my hand," the card he picked now caught on fire as it burned to a crisp, "and then I can search from my deck a Nepthyhs monster from my deck."

The Ra Yellow took his deck out as Yuri raised an eyebrow, "Destroy? Don't you mean discard?"

"No, that's why I said destroy," Bastion took a card from his deck and returned his deck to his duel disk. "I will now activate the Ritual Spell that I added! Rebirth Of Nephthys! I tribute my Level 2 Disciple Of Nephthys on my field so I could perform a ritual!" A statue of a phoenix appeared on the field as his Wind Spellcaster turned into pixels and went into the statue.

Bastion then began to chant, "As a tribute was made from a disciple, rise as a devotee of the Sacred Phoenix! I Ritual Summon! Rise, Devotee Of Nephthys!" From the statue it began to shake and destroy bits and pieces from it as a figure emerged from it, but not the Phoenix, but something different.

The figure was a much more mature woman, with black sandals, black gauntlets on her calves, a black skirt, a robe that on the backside went much lower than on the front side that was beige, light blue and dark blue all at the same time that showed her shoulders, a dark blue scarf, a hat that covered her eyes that resembles the Phoenix, but this time it was dark blue and with dark hair.

While Yuri wasn't impressed with the move, Alexis looked at the monster and nodded, admiring the Ritual monster on the field.

"Her effect now activates! When she is special summoned on the field; I get to special summon a Nepthyhs monster on my side of the field from my deck, but I have to destroy it during the End Phase!" Yelled out Bastion as he took out his deck and placed the monster he took on his duel disk.

"Come out, Matriarch of Nephthys!" On his side of the field appeared a woman, I think both of them were seeing a pattern, that was much more mature than his other monsters. She wore golden leggings, a beige coloured robe that wrapped her entire body with some golden accessories, a nice tan, dark eyes and dark hair that went down on towards her stomach as the end of her hair was slowly turning white.

(Matriarch Of Nephthys: Level 2 - Wind Spellcaster - Attack: 600. Defense: 600.)

"Oh no! If you attack and destroy my monster, I would lose all 600 life points! Oh, the humanity!" Yuri shouted, shutting his eyes close with his arm as he dramatically acted like it would actually harm him.

Bastion gripped his hand into a fist, but calmed down as he pointed at his Matriarch, "You will be scared after I activate my Matriarch's effect! I destroy a card from my hand," another card was set on fire as he took a card from his graveyard, "so I could revive from the ashes a Level 4 or lower Nephthys monster!"

"So return, Disciple of Nephthys!" His petite learner of the Sacred Phoenix arrived in a burst of flames in an X position.

(Disciple of Nephthys: Level 2 - Wind Spellcaster - Attack: 0. Defense: 2000.)

Three monsters were set up on the field as they weren't tough as steel, but they still felt powerful enough for the next turn for Alexis to use them during her turn.

"I think I constructed a decent field so there's only one option left." he closed his eyes for a moment or two, as he pushed his hand as soon as he opened his eyes, "Battle! Devotee of Nephthys attacks your Predaplant Squid Drosera with Sacred Shot!"

From the palm of the more mature Nephthys follower, a blue fire appeared. She jumped and threw the flame towards the plant monster, but Yuri had something for it.

"I don't think so! When my Dark monster is targeted for an attack, I get to activate my Trap, Predaprouting!" His set card was then revealed, "This nifty little Trap card, allows my monster to be unable to be destroyed by this battle, and then destroys your little follower!"

Both the Key Keepers' eyes went up in alarm as Devotee's attack did almost to no damage to the Predaplant monster, but instead it was destroyed when the Trap card shot a powerful poison on her, destroying her.

The Venom Rider then pushed his arm towards the Ra Yellow with a massive smirk on his face, "And then, thanks to my Trap's effect; I get to special summon 3 Predaplant Tokens on my side of the field."

Three small monsters that were the roots of a deadly tree grew out of the ground and showed their heads to their opponents.

(Predaplant Token: Level 1 - Dark Plant - Attack: 0. Defense: 0.) x 3

Bastion looked at the field advantage of his opponent, and that it was double than his own field during his turn. He gritted his teeth, "Drats."

He took one of the two cards from his hand, "I will now suffice my turn after I set this card face down." a card was set vertically behind Disciple and Matriarch Of Nephthys.

Turn 3. Yuri - 8000 lp - 4 cards

"You poor soul, unable to even get over my monsters." Yuri shook his head with a grin on his face, "But don't worry, I will put you out of your misery." he said while drawing his card.

Before he could even place the card in his hand, the ground began shaking, but it wasn't hard enough to fall off as Alexis and Bastion stayed perfectly still, "What is happening?!" yelled Yuri as the Ra Yellow lifted his duel disk and took a card that was dispersed from the graveyard.

"Nothing big, but the effect of my monster's effect! During the next Standby Phase my monster was destroyed, I get to special summon this monster from my graveyard! So arise as the myths told about you were correct, as the rising phoenix you are!" Bastion semi-chanted as he placed the card on his duel disk, "Arise, Fire King High Avatar Garunix!"

From the valley of flames arrived a fire bird, more commonly known as a Phoenix, as the wings died down Yuri saw the majestic, rainbow winged, gold wearing creature as Alexis grinned, knowing full well what the monster can do when summoned due to its effect.

(Fire King High Avatar Garunix: Level 8 - Fire Winged-Beast - Attack: 2700. Defense: 1700.)

"Pfft, why should I be scared of a big house pet?" scoffed Yuri as Bastion smirked.

"Well, when summoned thanks to its effect; every other monster on the field…GETS DESTROYED!" from the mouth of the firebird emerged flames so hot that no water could distinguish it as Yuri's eyes went up in alarm for the first time today.

"Wait what!?" from the mouth of the legendary bird a flame flew down to all of the monsters on the field, making most of the monsters yell in agony, but Matriarch and Disciple were calm as they saw one of the allies of the Sacred Phoenix was with them.

As soon as Yuri took a breather, Bastion activated his set card, revealing a Trap card, "Now my set card activates! My Non-Fusion Area! This card doesn't allow you to Fusion Summon as long as this card stays on the field!" Yuri growled, he didn't know that these two will be an actual challenge, but that won't stop him."

"Like that will stop me!" Yuri took one of the cards in his hand, "I activate my Quick-Play Spell card, Predaplast! I can show you any number of Preda monsters from my hand," Yuri did so, revealing Predaplant Ophrys Scorpio.

"This card allows me to then target monsters on your side of the field, and their level turns into a Level 1 and get a Predator Counter along with it." said Yuri as from the Quick-Play Spell card was shot poison towards Fire King High Avatar Garunix.

High Avatar Garunix: Level 8 - 1/ 0 - 1 Predator Counter

Yuri then took out a card from his hand and showed it to the two opponents, "When your monster has a Predator Counter, I get to special summon this poisonous monster, Predaplant Heliamphorhynchus in defense mode!"

A green coloured dragon that resembled a Fusion of a Heliamphora and a dinosaur from the Jurrasic period, Rhamphorhynchus. The dragon was mostly big due to its tail and wings as they flapped along the wind as it then landed on the floor, screeching when summoned.

(Predaplant Heliamphorhynchus: Level 8 - Dark Plant - Attack: 1200. Defense: 2400.)

Yuri then took another card from his hand, and they could tell that it wasn't his strong suit of getting into this situation, but it didn't mean he was bad at it, in fact it was the opposite.

"Time to get some bite in, appear Predaplant Spinodioneara in defense mode!" Yelled Yuri as he slammed the card on his duel disk.

On Yuri's side of the field appeared a dinosaur, more specifically a spinosaurus, combined with a Dionaea muscipula, with claws stronger to cut metal, which it swung like a wild animal, or a monster. Both of the dragons were in a lowered position.

(Predaplant Spinodioneara: Level 4 - Dark Plant - Attack: 1800. Defense: 0.)

The Venom Rider looked at his hand, and judging by his scowl, they knew it was the only thing he could do in that situation.

"You can go, blondie, but please do be gentle, I don't think I can handle two weak Key Keepers that struggled with the two weakest Shadow Riders." Yuri looked at their reactions, and grinned when their eyes, anger could be seen from them.

It was fun making people mad.

Turn 4. Alexis - 4000 lp - 5 cards

As soon as Alexis drew her card, Bastion pointed out, "I am sorry for interrupting you during your turn, but the effect of monsters in my graveyard activates!" Alexis gave him a side glance, but then grinned.

"Oh no, it's fine, go ahead." said Alexis as from Bastion's graveyard two cards glew as then were dispersed from it as he then took it, "During the next one of our Standby Phases, when my monsters are destroyed by a special effect, I get to special summon them!"

"So arise, rebirth of a Phoenix and its loyal follower! Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys and Matriarch of Nephthys!" yelled out Bastion as his Matriarch appeared on the field as from the grounds, a giant Phoenix made out of fire flew upwards and landed on its feet. Revealing it to be a phoenix with a skin made out of gold.

(Matriarch Of Nephthys: Level 2 - Wind Spellcaster - Attack: 600. Defense: 600.)

(Sacred Phoenix Of Nephthys: Level 8 - Fire Winged-Beast - Attack: 2400. Defense: 1600.)

Bastion then pushed out his hand in the process, "Finally, my Sacred Phoenix's effect activates! When summoned, thanks to its effect, I get to destroy every Spell and Trap card on the field!"

"What?! Then why would you Activate your Non-Fusion Area!?" yelled out Yuri as Alexis smirked.

"Because we knew that you would Fusion summon, and we didn't want to risk in the previous turn." said Alexis as her partner nodded.

"Correct, and now feel the wrath of my Phoenix's rage! Sacred Shooting!" From the mouth of the legendary bird, fire emerged as it then shot at every Spell and Trap zone on the board, but in the process, only destroyed Non-Fusion Area.

Alexis then took a card from her hand as she played the card, "Now it's my time to shine! I activate the Spell, Level Shift! I target the monster with the lowest Level," she pointed at Bastion's High Avatar Garunix, "And it becomes the same as the monster with the highest attack points, but its attack points become zero."

High Avatar Garunix: Level 1 - 8/ 2700 - 0 attack points

She then placed her fingers on the top of her deck, "Level Shift's final effect activates! If the monster's level was doubled, or even higher, I get to draw a card from my deck." She drew her card as she looked at the only Ra Yellow, "I need your card for something."

"Go right ahead," said Bastion as he smirked, knowing what will happen.

Alexis nodded as she took a card from her hand, "I will now activate the Spell card, Machine Angel Ritual!" A shrine appeared on the field revealing a goddess, "I sacrifice my partner's Fire King High Avatar Garunix for my Ritual summon!" she yelled out as her monster was then sucked in the shrine as Alexis began to chant.

"Warrior skilled in many weapons, sharp as blades as her skill is unrivaled! Appear onto the field, to show your godly strength! I Ritual Summon! Cyber Angel Dakini!" From the shrine appeared a warrior with four arms, two wearing a blue staff, and the other two each wearing a sword, with a light blue skin. It wore tight blue and yellow skin suit around her legs, with an orange armour that covered her breasts and shoulder pads, with each arm having a blue gauntlet. She also had red lipstick and red eyes with long flowing green and purple hair.

When summoned she swung her weapons, all around her.

(Cyber Angel Dakini: Ritual - Level 8 - Light Fairy - Attack: 2700. Defense: 2400.)

"Her effect activates! When she is Ritual Summoned: You have to send one monster on your side of the field." explained Alexis as Yuri took one of the monsters he controlled.

Yuri sighed as he took his card, "I pick my Predaplant Spinodioneara." he said as his dinosaur like monster was then destroyed.

Alexis then took a card from her hand, "I will now normal summon my Etoile Cyber in attack mode!" the Obelisk Blue yelled as a woman in a tight white and red spandex ran on the field to join all of the monsters.

(Etoile Cyber: Level 4 - Earth Warrior - Attack: 1200. Defense: 1600.)

Yuri then looked at all of the monsters. He then chuckled. "What, am I supposed to be scared of a ballerina, a fake goddess, a priestess and a big chicken? Please, I was more scared of those cartoony cars and koalas."

Their eyes widened, but they shook their heads, they can't let their emotions ruin the duel. "It's time for battle! Cyber Angel Dakini attacks your Predaplant Heliamphorhynchus, and when a Ritual monster attacks, they can inflict piercing battle damage! Go, Angel Slice!" she yelled as Yuri's eyes slightly widen.

Dakini ran towards the plant-like dragon monster, and used all of her weapons to slice it into pieces.

Yuri: 8000 - 7700 life points

Bastion: 4000 lp

Alexis: 4000 lp

And just like that, the Venom Rider's field was then left open, that means that they could go on the offensive. Both of the Key Keepers looked at each other as they both yelled at the same time, "Go! Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys, Matriarch of Nephthys and Etoile Cyber attack you directly with Synchronized Unity!"

All three monsters went with their own styles of attacking, Sacred Phoenix with its mighty unstoppable flames, Matriarch with her fire magic and Etoile Cyber ran towards the Venom Rider faster than a speeding bullet. Alexis pointed out, "When Etoile Cyber attacks you directly, she gains 600 points during the battle step!" (ATK: 1200 - 1800.)

All three hits landed on Yuri as the attacks took a while to stop, but when it did, Yuri was on his knees and with a look of slight annoyance. "That was annoying."

Yuri: 7700 - 7100 - 4700 - 2900 life points

Alexis: 4000 lp

Bastion: 4000 lp

They gripped their hands and gritted their teeth, if this was any other duel with 4000 life points, they would have already won the duel, but here it didn't even feel rewarding.

Alexis looked at her hand, and had no more moves left, "I end my turn, but then the effect of my Dakini activates! During the End Phase, I can return a Ritual Monster or Spell from my graveyard." she said as she took a card from her graveyard and revealed to be Machine Angel Ritual.

Turn 5. Yuri - 2900 lp - 2 cards

Yuri swiped his shoulder and placed his fingers on his deck, "Its so sad that you two weren't able to defeat me, but oh well." He shrugged his shoulders as he grinned, "It's my turn! I draw!"

He drew his card and flipped it so he could glance at it and he smirked as he saw the card he drew. He placed the card in his hand as he took out another card, "I will begin my turn by summoning my Predaplant Ophrys Scorpio in attack mode!"

On his side of the field, appeared a combination of a ophrys apifera and a scorpion with the tail sticking out on the back with a dark green and brown colouring scheme with a red marking on its tail.

(Predaplant Ophrys Scorpio: Level 3 - Dark Plant - Attack: 1200. Defense: 800.)

The Venom Rider then took a card from his hand, "My newly summoned monster activates his effect. When it is summoned onto the field, I get to discard one monster from my hand," he did so as something purple was glowing in the mouth of the summoned monster.

"Then I get to special summon one Predaplant monster from my deck that isn't itself," when he finished his sentence a card popped out of his deck as he took it, "So say hello to my Predaplant Darlingtonia Cobra!"

The tail of Ophrys Scorpio shot out a poison to which it created a brand new monster. The monster looked like a combination of a cobra snake and a darlingtonia californica with the ends being purple, but the rest of the body being a dark green colour. The monster slides towards the monster that shot it out and went as close as possible.

(Predaplant Darlingtonia Cobra: Level 3 - Dark Plant - Attack: 1000. Defense: 1500.)

"Now, when my Daringtonia is special summoned thanks to the effect of a Predaplant monster, I get to add Polymerization from my deck to my hand," said Yuri as a card popped out from his deck as he took it.

He grinned ear to ear as she showed them the card he just added, "And what fun would it be, if I don't activate it!" The Venom Rider announced as he played it, "So, thanks my Spell Card's effect, I get to fuse on my field my Predaplant Ophrys Scorpio and Darlingtonia Cobra to create my ferocious monster!"

His two monsters were sucked in by a Red-Blue Spiral Vortex, as the Venom Rider started to chant, "By using my two beautiful plants together, they merge into creating the most ferocious plant ever formed! I Fusion Summon! Appear, Predaplant Chimerafflesia!"

From the vortex came out a monster that was a combination of a rafflesia and a chimera, with claws of that of a mighty dragon and a body of giant, with a dark green colouring scheme with a massive pink flower in the middle of the mighty beast.

(Predaplant Chimerafflesia: Fusion - Level 7 - Dark Plant - Attack: 2500. Defense: 2000.)

Both of the Key Keepers were on guard for every move of the Shadow Rider, as even with this powerful looking monster, they could tell he was only warming up.

"That's not a lot of attack points." noted Bastion as Alexis whipped a sweat from her forehead.

"It has to have a great effect," said Alexis as Yuri snorted.

"A great effect? You mean it has several great effects!" Yuri said as he took a card from his hand, "But first I have to summon one more beast." he could feel his dragons grinning from side to side, "When I Fusion summon a monster, I can special summon it from my hand! So appear, Predaplant Nepenhorse!"

On his side of the field appeared a combination of a horse and a nepenthes with a dark green colouring scheme as its head and hooves were dark red, as they could feel why he was called the Venom Rider as it made them near sick.

(Predaplant Nepenhorse: Level 4 - Dark Plant - Attack: 1000. Defense: 1000.)

Yuri then pointed out as he pushed his arm forward, "Now, my Nepenhorse's effect activates! When it is summoned onto the field, I can special summon a Level 4 or lower Predaplant monster from my graveyard, so come out Predaplant Spinodioneara."

HIs half-spinosaurus and half-Dionaea muscipula appeared onto the field.

Despite the normal turn of summoning a monster from the graveyard with same level, ever since Chazz's duel with Kite, they stayed alarmed whenever that happened, but the question becomes…

…can he XYZ summon?

In Yuri's mind he heard a growl in his head and he laughed, "You want to be summoned, don't you?"

A whine answered his question as Yuri grinned, "Well, I can't disappoint one of my favourites, can I?" he pushed his two arms forward as the card images appeared with them and their worst nightmare came to be, "With I overlay my Level 4 Predaplant Nepenhorse and Spinodioneara!"

A galaxy, not as big as Kite's, emerged onto his feet as soon as he merged his two hands together. The two monsters then went into the galaxy, "With these two monsters I build the Overlay Network!"

Yuri then began to chant, "Cloaked in shadows and relentless in its objective, I call upon the most dangerous of dragons! I Xyz Summon! Rank 4! Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon!" The galaxy emerged as the two Key Keepers saw the Dragon.

The Dragon made the other monster near it look like an actual plant, as the dragon's wings were that of pitch black and so was the rest of its skin, but its tail, orbs and neck were the most beautiful shade of purple, and its legs, wings and even face was that of a metal-like silver colouring. Around it were 2 purple orbs circling.

The monster roared when summoned as Yuri merely laughed when they had to cover their ears.

(Dark Rebellion XYZ Dragon: XYZ - Rank 4 - Dark Dragon - Attack: 2500. Defense: 2000.)

"What's the matter? Can't take a little screeching from this harmless monster?" mocked Yuri as the two Key Keepers breathed rapidly as soon it was done.

They looked at the dragon, and sure it wasn't as terrifying as the Galaxy-Eyes monsters, but it didn't mean it was any less scary.

"Oh well, since you can't take it screeching, I don't see you taking its attacks! I activate my Dragon's effect! I use two Overlay Units," his two Overlay Units went into him as the dragon roared, "I can target one monster on your side of the field and…"

Yuri grinned, "Their attack points are now halved, while my monster gains those attack points!"

"What?!"

"That's right! I target your chicken, and it loses 1200 attack point while my monster gains those attack points! Go, Treason Discharge!" yelled Yuri as Dark Rebellion shot a purple beam towards Sacred Phoenix, and it was powerful enough to weaken the monster, while it made it stronger.

Dark Rebellion: 2500 - 3700 attack points

Sacred Phoenix: 2400 - 1200 attack points

The two held their breath, but Yuri wasn't done with special effects, "That's not all! Chimerafflesia's effect activates! It destroys a monster with a lower level, so say goodbye to your Etoile Cyber!" yelled Yuri as one of the mouths went towards the Earth Warrior lady and ate it, with no mercy.

"Time to battle! Dark Rebellion XYZ Dragon attacks your Matriarch of Nephthys with Mauling Mandible Charge!" commanded Yuri as his dragon went down and charged at the Wind Spellcaster.

Try as she might, she couldn't escape the wrath of the Dark XYZ Dragon, as the monster striked it in the back and ate it.

Yuri: 2900 lp

Bastion: 4000 - 900 life points

Alexis: 4000 lp

"Bastion!" Yelled Alexis as she saw the Ra Yellow take the knee as he took deep breaths from the attack. It was clear that this was tiring him out. "Are you alright?"

"I am, just…" he took a second, "...just make sure that we win."

She nodded.

In Yuri's mind, he could attack his Sacred Phoenix and destroy the Ra Yellow, but he really wasn't like that. He wanted both of them to suffer and not just one, and to him, it would be boring. And it did help that it would destroy the main threat.

"Predaplant Chimerafflesia attacks your Cyber Angel Dakini with Thorn Support!" The Venom Rider yelled as one the other mouths went straight towards the Angel Ritual monster, but he wasn't finished, "My monster's second effect activates! When it battles a monster, until the End of the turn, your monster loses 1000 attack points, while my monster gains 1000!"

"WHAT?!" yelled both of the Key Keeper as they both braced each other for the attack. (ATK: 2500 - 3500.) (ATK: 2700 - 1700.). The Angel Ritual monster went straight towards the monster that was attacking her, but she was eaten in the process as Alexis dropped to her knees.

Yuri: 2900 lp

Bastion: 900 lp

Alexis: 4000 - 2200 life points

While the two are trying to calm themselves from the attack, Yuri taunts them, "Ahh, what's the matter? Are you hurt? Do you need a bandage with that injury? Come on, if it hurts, its alright to cry!" Yuri then started laughing.

"Shut up." said Bastion as both he and Alexis stood up, "Like we will ever lose to you!"

Yuri raised an eyebrow and snorted. That was hilarious. "Oh, really? Then, come on, you can go, just make sure it means something." he said as Bastion placed his fingers on his deck.

Turn 6. Bastion - 900 lp - 1 card

Bastion breathed in and out, he closed his eyes. He thought about everyone that suffered through the pain of him.

He sucked in his breath as he opened his eyes.

"And I will! I draw!" yelled Bastion on the top of his lungs as he knew if he didn't take out those two monsters, both of them will lose.

He looked at the card and smiled, "Looks like all those all nighters are finally paying off." he said as he inserted the card in his duel disk as he announced his move, "I activate my Spell, Preparation of Rites! This card allows me to add a Ritual monster from my deck."

He took out his deck and then a specific monster from it and showed it as Priestess of Nephthys. He placed the monster in his hand after he returned his deck and then a card popped out of his graveyard, "and a Ritual Spell card from my graveyard, so I return Rebirth Of Nephthys!"

"I think its about time for me to Ritual Summon! I activate Rebirth of Nephthys!" A shrine of the exact same phoenix appeared on the field, "I sacrifice Sacred Phoenix Of Nephthys, so I could use it for a Ritual summon!" The Phoenix went straight towards the shrine.

Bastion began to chant, "Sacred Phoenix, let the flames engulf your body! Because from its ashes you will be reborn! I Ritual Summon! Cerulean Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys!" The Shrine began to break and the figure revealed itself to everyone watching the duel. The golden wings turned into beautiful azure coloured wings that was engulfed into blue flames as its golden eyes glew as its wings created a whirlwind.

It landed directly in front of Bastion.

While Yuri was unimpressed with the Ritual monster, Alexis looked at the monster and colour her impressed, she didn't even know Bastion could even have this card. What's with him and having powerful monsters that no one else knows about?

"My monster has a powerful effect as well! I destroy one card from my hand," The only card in his hand was now burned into a crisp with a blue flame as Bastion pointed towards Dark Rebellion XYZ Dragon, "so it could destroy one monster on your side of the field!"

"Wait, what?!" yelled Yuri and Alexis in surprise as from the mouth of the powerful mighty Phoenix, blue fire emerged.

"You heard me right! My monster destroys your monster with Sacred Phoenix Blast!" yelled Bastion as the Ritual monster shot the powerful ball of flames directly towards the Dark XYZ monster making Yuri slide off a bit.

Bastion smirked as his monster's flames went hotter and hotter by the second, "If you have forgotten it or not, that was an effect, not an attack, so go! Attack with Sacred Reincarnation Flame!"

"Not so fast! When my Chimerafflesia is involved in a battle, it gains 1000 attack points and your monster loses 1000 attack points!" yelled Yuri, but to no avail as Bastion pointed out.

"Oh, I didn't forget! Since when my Priestess of Nephthys is destroyed by an effect this turn, all effects after it was destroyed are negated until the end of the turn! So your attempt to destroy my monster is negated!" yelled Bastion as Yuri's eyes went up in alarm.

From the mouth as the monster shot the powerful blast of energy as Yuri's only Fusion monster on the field was destroyed in one attack, making him hit the ground.

Yuri: 2900 - 2400 life points

Bastion: 900 lp

Alexis: 2200 lp

"Nice one, Bastion! You just destroyed his two powerful monsters!" praised Alexis as Bastion nodded with a smile as he then turned his face towards their opponent.

"Thank you, but it is early for celebration. I end my turn there." said Bastion as Yuri looked at him with a crazy smile.

Turn 7. Yuri - 2400 lp - 0 cards

"I can't believe it! I can't believe that you managed to get over my monsters so easily." he laughed, evilly as he stood up. Looking at them like they were prey and he was the predator.

He placed his fingers on his deck, "It's my turn, and this where one of you are defeated. I draw!" yelled Yuri as he looked at he just drew and grinned, but then a card was popped out of his deck, "During the Standby Phase after my Chimerafflesia is destroyed, I get to add a Polymerization from my deck straight to my hand!"

He yelled as he took the card and revealed it to both of his opponents, placing the two new cards in his hand.

He took one card from his hand, "I will then activate the Equip Spell, Predapruning! I target a Predaplant monster from my graveyard," a card popped out of his graveyard spot from his duel disk to which he took it, "so I could special summon it on my field and then equip it on to it! So appear, Predaplant Lilizard!"

On the Venom Rider's side of the field appeared a combination of a lizard and a lilium longiflorum, with having orange eyes and five tails which at the end parts being that of a purple colouring scheme, while the body having a light green colouring scheme.

(Predaplant Lilizard: Level 3 - Dark Plant - Attack: 1200. Defense: 1200.)

Yuri then placed his fingers on his deck, "When my monster is summoned on the field when it was in the graveyard, I get to draw 1 card!" The Venom Rider yelled as he drew his card, and then he grinned even harder.

Both of the Key Keepers took a step back as Yuri placed a card in the Monster zone, "My monster doesn't like being alone, so I will give him some company by summoning Predaplant Flytrap in attack mode!"

A big venus fly trap appeared on the field with a dark green colouring scheme and massive teeth.

(Predaplant Flytrap: Level 2 - Dark Plant - Attack: 400. Defense: 800.)

Both of the two Key Keepers took a step back as they realized what will happen. Two monsters on the field, and a Polymerization. Yuri raised the only card in his hand and grinned when he flipped it.

"I think it's time to stop fooling around," he grinned when he heard another growl from one of his dragons, "Be quiet, I will summon you now," he mumbled under his breath as he inserted the card in his Spell and Trap zone, "I will activate my Spell Card, Polymerization! I fuse my Predaplant Lilizard and Flytrap on my field to create a monster that will destroy you."

A Red-Blue Spiral Vortex appeared on the field as it sucked the two monsters on his side of the field. He began to chant as they braced themselves."By crafting these ravenous plants together, I'll create a botanical nightmare! I Fusion Summon!" he clapped his hands together with a crazed smile on his face as Alexis closed her mouth with her hand as they saw the monster "... Arise, Starving Venom Fusion Dragon!"

From the Vortex, a dragon more poisonous than all of the other monsters combined appeared on the field. Its tail was something of a scythe, long as the biggest snake and dark as the abyss. Its claws were stronger than most metal around. It was as big as the Dark Rebellion XYZ Dragon and looked as strong as it. It was covered by massive purple orbs, with the skin on the wings, the fingers, the head and eyes the deepest shade of purple. It roared, shaking the lobby and was even heard from outside as 4 people covered their eyes, but not strong enough to shatter the glass.

(Starving Venom Fusion Dragon: Fusion - Level 8 - Dark Dragon - Attack: 2800. Defense: 2000.)

"By all of the gods." Bastion could only stare at the powerful dragon.

"That can't be real." Alexis looked at the monster with wide eyes as both of them took a step back.

"Oh it is real!" laughed Yuri as his dragon leaned in at the Cerulean Sacred Phoenix, which it didn't back down. "But I know what both of you are going to say, "Our monster has more attack points so we should be safe!" Right?"

They gritted their teeth as The Venom Rider took that as a yes, "Well, don't have high expectations." said Yuri as he pushed his arm forward, "During the turn it is summoned, it gains attack points equal to all of the monsters that were special summoned until the end of the turn!"

"WHAT?!" yelled the two as even the Ritual monster went backwards at the effect as the Fusion monster went stronger by the minute due to the effect of Starving Venom Fusion Dragon.

Starving Venom Fusion Dragon: 2800 - 5800 attack points

It was now clear what was going to happen, since none of them had anything, that could stop this attack. It hard to say this, but Bastion knew that this would be the end of him.

He turned to Alexis, "Alexis, I know that it will be hard for me to say this, but this will be the end of my time."

"Bastio-"

"Not now," he said with a smile, "Just listen to me," she hesitated, but she nodded, "I know that it may look impossible, to us, to all of us, but I know one thing. That you can do it, and make a comeback. Even if it is impossible, if you believe in it, it will be possible. What I am trying to tell you is that, I believe in you."

It was tough for her to try and think about hearing from her friend something like that, and she knew he meant every word of it. Hearing that made her more confident in herself that she will win this duel.

"Thank you, Bastion." she said with a smile as he returned it as Yuri laughed.

"I feel so sorry about you two, not really, but still sad for you." He shook his head as he then stopped, "So how about I put one of you two to your misery. Starving Venom Fusion Dragon attack and destroy that chicken with Malicious Stream Of Destruction!"

From the mouth of the powerful Fusion monster opened like the mouth of a monster from a horror movie, as a beam was charging in it. The beam was then shot at its target: Cerulean Sacred Phoenix of Nepthys, and try as it might with a counter attack from it, but it was made pointless as the beam from the Fusion monster cleared any chance of killing it, destroying the Ritual monster and slamming Bastion to the wall, creating a massive dent and then making him fall over, falling unconscious.

Yuri: 2400 lp

Bastion: 900 - 0 life points

Alexis: 2200 lp

"Bastion!" Yelled Alexis as she ran towards her partner and checked his pulse. She breathed in relief as she found out that he still had a pulse.

"Oh come on, don't worry about him! I made sure, this time at least, that he wasn't harmed that much. Only some broken bones, nothing much." said Yuri as Alexis glared at him with daggers, and if looks could kill, she would have won.

"Oh you shut up!" shouted Alexis as Yuri merely shrugged his shoulders.

"Yeesh! I was only trying to be nice." he said as he looked at her, "You can go now."

Starving Venom Fusion Dragon: 5800 - 2800 attack points

Turn 8. Alexis - 2200 lp - 3 cards

Try as she might ignoring the Venom Rider, she concentrated on the top card. In her hand she had a Polymerization, Cyber Angel Natasha and Machine Angel Ritual. Three cards that were good, but weren't good enough or usable for her to use to destroy that powerful Fusion Dragon.

For some reason she thought and felt like Yuri had more than just XYZ and Fusion monsters?

She shook her head, it didn't matter what she felt or thought, she needed a good draw. She sucked in her breath as she drew her card.

She looked at it and smiled. She inserted the card in her duel disk, "I activate the Spell card Pot Of Desires! I banish the top 10 cards from my deck facedown," she took out the top 10 cards from her deck and placed them in her deck box, "so I could draw 2 cards from my deck!" She did so.

She smirked when she saw the two cards as she placed one of them in her hand while the other she activated, "Then I will play my Spell Ritual Study! I can take out a Ritual Spell card from my deck…" she took out her deck and took out her Absolute Machine Angel Ritual, "...and then a Ritual monster that has the same name as a monster in my hand!" She then took out another card from her deck and revealed it to be Natasha.

"I have everything for this," Yuri raised an eyebrow as Alexis activated her Ritual Spell card, "I will now activate the Ritual Spell, Machine Angel Ritual!" A shrine appeared on the field as she said this as Alexis took out a card from her hand, "I will send my Cyber Tutubon from my hand, so I can Ritual Summon my monster!"

A lady with a tight pink spandex and a tutu was summoned on the field as then she went into the shrine as Alexis began to chant, "By using the force of an angel, I can create an angel with the power of recovery! I Ritual Summon! Cyber Angel Natasha!"

From the shrine appeared an angel with a body of a centaur with a black and gold colouring scheme, with a red and black cape on the back, with white flowers on the human part of the monster. It had 4 gold arms with a whip in her hands with a helmet with 4 red eyes. Two wings were on the hooves. It was in a lower position.

(Cyber Angel Natasha: Ritual - Level 5 - Light Fairy - Attack: 1000. Defense: 1000.)

Before Yuri could laugh at such a weak monster, Alexis wasn't done, not all, as she took a card from her hand, "That's not all! I activate the Ritual Spell, Absolute Machine Angel Ritual!" A much more detailed designed shrine appeared on the field.

A card popped out of her graveyard, "Thanks to this card's effect, I get to shuffle Fairy and/or Warrior monsters from my graveyard with an equal level of the monster I am about to Ritual summon, so once again, I use Cyber Tutubon from my graveyard for a tribute for a Ritual monster!" Alexis took out the card from her graveyard and placed it in her graveyard.

Cyber Tutubon appeared once again as she was again sucked in the shrine, as Alexis skipped the chant and only said, "I Ritual Summon! Appear once more, Cyber Angel Natasha!"

From the shrine came out the same monster as before, in a lower position.

(Cyber Angel Natasha: Ritual - Level 5 - Light Fairy - Attack: 1000. Defense: 1000.)

"Why would you summon two of the same monsters on your field?" asked Yuri as Alexis pushed out her hand.

"Because thanks to Natasha's effect, I gain life points equal to half of the other monster's attack points so I gain 1000 life points!" she said as she was covered in a blue light, and didn't talk about her other effects.

Yuri: 2400 lp

Alexis: 2200 - 3200 life points

"Are you done? Seriously, how does that help you in any way?" asked Yuri as Alexis then took out another card from her hand.

"Because I activate my Continuous Spell card, Fusion Destruction!" yelled Alexis as her Continuous Spell was now on the field and activated. She took out her final card from her hand, "With this card, I can now send a Polymerization from my hand to the graveyard so I can activate it," which she did.

Alexis smirked as she began to explain her Spell's other effect, "Now, with this card's effect, I get to banish from your deck 3 Polymerizations or Fusion Spell cards, and you lose 300 life points for each and one of them!"

"What?!" yelled Yuri in shock as three cards popped out of his deck which he then took and placed them in his pocket.

Yuri: 2400 - 1500 life points

Alexis: 3200 lp

"Furthermore, if you activate a Polymerization or a Fusion Spell card, I can negate it and you lose 300 life points." said Alexis as Yuri narrowed his eyes at the move.

"This is great! With my Continuous Spell card's effect now active, he can't activate or draw a Fusion Spell since it will be destroyed, and if he attacks my Natasha, I can just negate the attack with their effect, and if they are destroyed somehow, I can activate their effects and take control of Starving Venom Fusion Dragon." she thought about her advantage as she looked at Yuri and smirked, "That ends my turn. You can go now."

Turn 9. Yuri - 1500 lp - 0 cards

"Don't think that changes anything! I draw!" yelled Yuri as he drew his card and looked at it, "Good, at least something is on my side. I activate Monster Reborn!" Alexis gritted her teeth at the name of the card as Yuri took a card that had already popped from his graveyard.

"I can now special summon a monster from either of our graveyards, so revive," Alexis prepared herself for either Dark Rebellion or Chimerasffelia, but none of them would be shocking as, "Predaplant Lilizard!"

He slammed the card on his duel disk as his half-lizard half- lilium longiflorum appeared on the field.

(Predaplant Lilizard: Level 3 - Dark Plant - Attack: 1200. Defense: 1200.)

He then placed his fingers on his deck, "When he is revived, I get to draw one card!" yelled Yuri as he drew another card from his deck. He flipped it and smiled, sinisterly.

He slammed the card on his duel disk, "It's time to end this shall we!? I summon my Tuner monster, Predaplant Algeant!"

"A what?!" yelled Alexis in shock as a combination of an ant and an algae appeared on the field, with a green colouring scheme with red highlights.

(Predaplant Algeant: Level 4 - Tuner - Dark Plant - Attack: 1000. Defense: 1000.)

"A Tuner monster. A card needed for a…different type of summoning." said Yuri as Alexis widened her eyes.

"Wait what!? The only summoning methods are Fusion, Ritual and XYZ! There's more!?" yelled Alexis in shock as Yuri laughed, sickly.

"OH YOU HAVE NO IDEA! This summoning is something that I CREATED!" He pushed out his arm as he yelled, "So how about I show you it!? I TUNE my Level 4 Predaplant Algeant with my Level 3 Predaplant Lilizard!" And then, as all of a sudden, it all went black and white during the place they are dueling with the only exception being Yuri's eyes.

His Predaplant Algeant turned into 4 gates as Lilizard went through it, becoming hollow and representing 3 stars.

3 + 4 = 7!

Yuri then began to chant "Beat your wings to whip up a whirlwind of destruction! I Synchro Summon!" As then from the gates went down behind The Venom Rider with a wicked smile as a large beam of light, "Arise, Clear Wing Synchro Dragon!"

"Synchro WHAT?!" yelled Alexis as from the beam of light, the dragon revealed itself to her.

From the beam of Light, emerged a dragon that was the most beautiful combination of blue and white, with yellow eyes of the sun. Its arms were bigger than most people's entire bodies, and it was interesting that it was the only one with no legs, meaning it was the only sky based monster. It had 6 wings, 3 on each side as they were a beautiful shade of neon green. Some parts of the body, and even more clear on its tail, it also had some black colouring on it.

(Clear Wing Synchro Dragon: Synchro - Level 7 - Wind Dragon - Attack: 2500. Defense: 2000.)

Alexis took several steps backwards as she saw two powerful dragons with a magnitude of powerful stats. He didn't even need to use a Fusion card, making her Fusion Destruction pointless.

She looked closer at the monster and saw the similarities with Fusion cards. They were in the Extra Deck and their Levels are in the same stats, but the big difference was the colour of the border. It wasn't purple, it wasn't dark, it wasn't brown or yellow, it was white.

Like the colour of the skin of the dragon.

Yuri clapped his hands together, "Well it was fun, well not really, but you get the point. Starving Venom Fusion Dragon attack Cyber Angel Natasha with Malicious Stream Of Destruction!" From the mouth of the Fusion monster, it opened its mouth and shot the beam towards the Light Fairy monster, but Alexis ain't going down that easy!

"Not so fast! My Natasha has another effect! When a Ritual monster is targeted for an attack, it is negated!" yelled the Key Keeper, but Yuri grinned.

"And that's supposed to scare me!? My Clear Wing Synchro Dragon's effect activates as well! When a Level 5 or Higher monster activates their effect, the effect is negated and is destroyed! Go, Reverse Revenge!" From the mouth of Clear Wing a light blue beam appeared from its mouth and shot the other Natasha, destroying it.

Alexis gritted her teeth, but had a small smile on her face, as long as nothing else happens, she can survive the next attack, and use her monsters effects to-

"Clear Wing's second effect activates!" Alexis' eyes went up in alarm, "If it destroys a monster with its effect, it gains attack points equal to the destroyed monster's attack points until the end of the turn!"

All Alexis did was look in horror as Clear Wing's attack points went up and her second Natasha being destroyed.

Clear Wing Synchro Dragon: 2500 - 3500 attack points

"Well you know what they say! That's all folks! Go! Clear Wing Synchro Dragon! Attack her directly with Spinstorm Sky Strike!" yelled Yuri as his dragons went full on Alexis' empty field and crashed into her, making a dent in the wall, but not loud enough to hear from outside.

Alexis dropped to the floor, like her partner.

Yuri: 1500 lp

Bastion: 0 lp

Alexis: 3200 - 0 life points

YURI: WINNER!

The holograms of his dragons disappeared.

Yuri, with no more words, calmly walked over to the two duelists that he defeated in a duel fair and square, with no more words, he turned both of the people he defeated and took their Spirit Keys.

As soon he touched them, they vanished into the chamber of the Sacred Beasts.

With no more words, he raised his duel disk in the air and, with sick smile on his face, clicked a button and…

…turned them both into cards.

4 down, 3 to go.

He walked over to the door, and saw just two figures sitting on the Obelisk the Tormentor statues. He smiled as he opened the door and saw the two figures standing up with angry scowls on their faces, and he could vaguely see two more figures in the forest watching the duel closely.

"So…you have defeated them." said the male, The Kaiser Of Duel Academy, Zane as he walked towards The Venom Rider.

"Our allies, our friends." said the female, the only Female Slifer Red, Celina as she followed Zane's lead.

"Those two?" scoffed Yuri, "Please! Those two were only challenging when I was not even trying at my hardest! It wasn't even fair!" He laughed, boiling their blood, "I can't believe that Tania and Dennis ever, in a million years, lost to those two."

It was clear that they shouldn't get their anger out in a duel, not once, as when you do such a thing, it would make a massive mistake that no one could ever fix. So they stayed a neutral face that they could muster in front of the Venom Rider.

But then Yuri stopped laughing for a minute as he looked at the two Key Keepers, "Then again, from what I have seen from you two, especially you Kaiser," Zane gritted his teeth at hearing that name, "you two seem like the greatest challenge I can face, but I haven't seen that brunette boy duel, not even once! Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if he was the weakest one!"

They both gritted their teeth, but shook their heads. Okay, they needed to beat him right here and now.

They know that he has XYZ and Synchro monsters from the way he said them in the duel, especially Yusuke when he heard the attack, and knew how strong he is.

"Alright, enough talk. Let's duel, right here, and right now." said Celina as she activated her duel disk, with her deck already in.

"If you want those Spirit Keys, you have to go through us." said Zane as his duel disk was already activated.

"2 v 1? That's not really fair." said Yuri as he grinned, "I love it!" He activated his duel disk as they all yelled at the same time, "DUEL!"

The Spirit Keys started to shake.

Yuri: 8000 lp

Zane: 4000 lp

Celina. 4000 lp

On the rooftop of Duel Academy, the only other active Shadow Rider, Amneal, stood there watching the duel start between those three. He can't believe it.

He COULDN'T believe it!

How could he just attack the innocent!? They weren't even part of the war!

How could he do that!?

After he begged him to not attack the innocent, he didn't even listen!

He shook his head, he has to fix this. He needed to fix this. He knew a way to reverse everything, but that would almost drain all of his energy and he was a bit rusty with magic spells, but he didn't care about that.

He needed to find a way to stop all of this.

Welp! Sorry for the long wait everyone! I really wanted to write Ryoken/Varis/Revolver duel the Light Ignis, so this had to wait, sorry about that! 14K everyone, 14K words.

This was fun, ngl. I almost never write something as dark as this chapter with Yuri almost killing everyone in Duel Academy, and holding on Sy's card, this was quite a first and I liked it!

Yuri was a fun character to write and I really enjoyed his entire character. I liked almost all of his duels, except you Yugo vs Yuri (My least favourite Duel of All Time) and I really liked how scary he was. I wanted to make sure that he was the toughest SR out there and boy did he prove it! His deck is hard to write, and the next duel is going to be HELL!, but I can make it work. I made 3/4th of the Dimensional Dragons in his deck, and even created Synchro monsters.

Despite it being my least favourite summoning method, except you Pendulums, I have to agree that it is the best looking one, as I combined the Vrains black and white, gate thing from Arc V and the beam of light summoning behind him.

Sorry Bastion and Lex, and the rest of the cast, but I needed someone to duel him.

I have officially finished Vrains, and I loved it! Easily in my top 5 anime of all time. Gonna continue watching Shippuden (On Ep 85.) and then, either Bleach, Black Clover, Jujutsu Kaisen or Fairy Tail when I finish it.

I kind of want to write a small Angelmakershipping one shot with the birthday of an OC kid with their friends, even Shepherd and Ryoken, and family attending, with their own kids.

Anyway, before I get my ass kicked by an angry boyfriend, older brother and best friend *looks at Yusuke holding a baseball bat, Zane brass knuckles and Jaden cracking his fists* I have to say see ya later and then my made up cards list!

Me: *Runs off while the three start running towards me* Celina, help!
