AN: Hey ya all thank ya so much for reviewing. I really do appreciate it. I hope that you all enjoy this chapter, I did work really hard on it and now that my computer at home is work (no matter how slowly) I can get this updated much faster. Maybe once a day. Well enjoy!
Even though Harry felt sleepy all he wanted to do was find out more about his mum and dad. Now that he had the chance to meet them, talk to them, touch them, he was going to take up one that chance. Harry hung back at the Great Hall doors for Hermione, Ron and Ginny.
"Harry," Hermione whispered into his ears. "I know that you're excited and such but two things. One, we were supposed to go back to the exact day 20 years ago, but instead, we ended up on September 1st, not a week before Christmas."
Harry frowned. "We'll ask Dumbledore about it in the morning. The second thing?"
Hermione bit her lip and carefully met his eye. "I know how tempted you might be, but don't kill Wormtail or tell them what will happen. We can not change the future. No matter what Harry."
Harry quickly nodded, understanding that she only had his best interests at heart. But she didn't know how it felt being here, able to change the future, able to have parents, a godfather, and a normal life. But then again, Harry might change the whole future all together, making Neville the Child of Prophecy. The idea was very tempting but….
Harry could never do that to Neville. He, Harry, was too noble and had too much Griffindor sprit.
"Damn me and my nobleness," Harry muttered to himself.
"Sorry, Harry must have missed that. What did you say?" Sirius said, popping up on his left side.
"Er, nothing…um what was your name again?" Harry of course did not forget his godfather's name.
Sirius looked a taken back. "Look Black, I told you weren't famous through out the country. Not everyone remembers your name."
"Shut it Evans." Sirius growled. "My name is Sirius, Sirius Black."
Harry grinned apologetically and walked in front of everyone up to Gryffindor Tower that was until Ginny stopped him.
"Hmm, Love what are you doing? You don't know your way." Harry opened his mouth to say that he indeed knew where he was going until he saw his mother and father looking at him weird.
"You're right of course, as always. Just the Leo in me showing." Harry took Ginny's hand and let Remus led the next two floors.
Ron however stopped Harry. "Mate, the have the Marauders map too, remember?"
Harry's eyes widened along with Hermione and Ginny's. "What are we going to do?" he hissed.
"Well," Hermione started slowly, "When they're sleeping, steal it from them. You can summon it. Then I can put a spell on it so it changes our name. It is a difficult spell—"
Ron interrupted. "—But we all know you can do it." And he gave his girlfriend a kiss on the cheek and gave her a small grin.
"Well—that's—" Hermione stammered out trying not to look to pleased with her self.
"Firefly," Remus said, which must have been the password, because the Fat Lady opened up her portrait and the group walked into the common room.
Harry, Hermione, Ron and Ginny all went to the trio's old corner. With Ginny on Harry lap so they all could fit they started talking.
"So," Ron said looking at his cleaver girlfriend. "How do we get home?"
Hermione sighed dramatically. "That's, just it. I don't know. When I said the spell, we didn't go far enough into it to go into the future. I wasn't even halfway into the spell—unless. But no, they wouldn't. Would they?"
"Nice to know what she's talking about, eh?" Ron said, annoyed.
"Oh hush, its just that, Professor Dumbledore and Remus helped me find the information that I needed, cause I couldn't find it anywhere in the Hogwarts library. Maybe the…hacked the book to make us go back into time?"
Harry laughed. "But why would they do that?"
Ron looked at Ginny then at Hermione looking for back up. They both shook their heads no. "Well you see, we over heard McGonagall talking to Flitwick that the war was taking the greatest effect on us four. Being in such big parts of the war. And that we were growing up to fast and had no time to slow down our aging. They said that you, Harry were too wise and too old for your age mostly."
Harry thought it over and said slowly. "So they would charm our book to make us go back for what?" They all shook their heads, as they had no answer.
Emily and Remus came up to the four of them and offered to show them where they were going to sleep. After they bid each other good night Harry laid awake, waiting for the infamous Marauders to go to sleep, so they could fix the Marauders' map.
Marauders POV
James looked at the four chatting in the losers corner.
"Padfoot, don't they know that they are sitting in the losers' corner?"
"Probably not James, after all they are new." Lily replied.
"But that's just it." Remus said. Harry seemed to know exactly where he was going up to the common room. And the way they have been acting. Plus we don't usually get transfer student's."
They group of four boys and three girls stared at the odd new comers. Two of the new comers looked very much like the head boy and girl at Hogwarts, Lily Evans, a pretty muggle-born who had a very bad temper when it was tested, and James Potter. Unofficial leader of the Marauders and a classic smart-ass. The other two seemed to be…well not who they say they are. They were oddly different and seemed to be... Well that was it. Remus could not place it.
"Well in the time of war, in is natural for people to think that Hogwarts would be the safest place for their children." Maddie said, the leader of the girls. Never afraid to speak her mind and the best friend of Lily and Emily. "I mean, its not every day we meet Lily and James Potter—I mean Lily Evans and James Potter." Maddie said 'accidentally on purpose'.
"I swear Mad, one more time and I'll—" Lily was interrupted rudely by her boyfriend.
"I don't know Lils, I kinda like it." Lily, mumbling about big headed head boys, sat back with a small smile on her face.
"Well," Emily spoke for the first time. "I will go show the girls to the dormitories and Remus can show the boys. G'night all." Emily and Remus stood up and walked over the odd group.
"But you have to admit something…." Lily almost whispered. "They give you a feeling of hope… Of comfort. Do you know what I mean?" Four out of five of them nodded.
"I don't like them." Peter flat out said.
"Peter," groaned James. "You don't even know them! Give them a chance."
Peter glared at the spot the group used to be. He had a feeling they were going to make more trouble for him….
More AN: So tell me what ya think, good or bad, doesn't matter. Well the night is still young in this story, probably one more chapter until I move on the first day of classes.
