Chapter 2
"As you all know , I promised you guys a new project. Lucky for you , i'm in a pretty cheerful mood . So this is how it's going to happen. Liberty is going to pass out a paper , that's going to have everyone's name and their partner on it ," said Mr.Simpson , Degrassi's Media Immersion Teacher .
Liberty crept up the isle , and it seemed like it took forever to get to Manny's desk , even though she was only the fourth person in the row. " Good luck , " Liberty whispered as she dropped the paper on Liberty's desk . Manny shut her eyes . She couldn't bare lookig.
Why would Liberty wish her luck ? Maybe she got Emma . Hopefully she got Liberty . But Manny knew who she really had in the back of her mind . She knew in the back of her heart who her partner was.
She finally looked at the paper,and it said,

Manny's chin was litterally laying on her desk . JT and Manny turned their heads to look at each other , one's face in a smile , one with a fake smile .
When the bell finally rung , Manny tried to rush out of the room,
and avoid JT . " Manny !," yelled JT down the hallway .Manny turned around with another fake smile on her face . "Yeah JT," asked Manny.
"When do you want to start on the project ? I'm free today ," said JT, hoping Manny would come after school .
Manny had to come up with an excuse quick ."I have to go to my Grandma's and help her with stuff around the house, '' said Manny .
