Alright! Let's get out there, and do the best concert we've ever done! I just hope Maire will actually be lively in this one. Callie took a deep breath, and proceeded to get Marie pumped as well.

"You ready Marie! This is going to be the best concert ever! C'mon, get excited!" She playfully hit Marie in the shoulder, getting an annoyed response in return.

"Yeah, whatever. All our concerts are the same, nothing new. People love it either way, even if I seem 'lazy' and 'bored.'" Marie just rolled her eyes and started walking onto the stage.

And she told me she's not lazy or bored. Well, she's really convincing me that she hates our concerts! Weirdo. Whatever, I'm still gonna love them, no matter what. Callie started walking on stage, but she noticed Marie was heading back, pure shock on her eyes. Oh no, that can't be good. When Marie has ANY expression that isn't her casual one, it's bad news.

"Hey, Marie, what's up?" Marie just glared and kept walking, off the stage. Callie glared back, and quickly got up to her side, "Just tell me what's wrong? If it's about the concert, I've gotta know!"

Marie whipped around, her eyes glistening with moisture, as if she was trying not to cry, "The concert, it's not a thing, not anymore. In fact, I'm pretty sure that people forgot all about the Squid Sisters. They're probably busy with loving the new celebrities. You know Callie, I think it's time we just disband the Squid Sisters!"

At this point, Marie has tears rolling down her cheeks. Callie never knew how much this actually meant to her. She always thought it was unimportant to her, and that's why she looked so bored all the time. Clearly she was wrong.

"Marie, are… are you crying? C'mon, everyone retires at… at some point. It's not… It's not that bad!" Callie stuttered, trying to hold back tears of her own. Aw crap! Why does she have to cry! She knows I get emotional whenever she's crying!

"Come on, let's go. I wanna get some rest." Sniffling, Marie left without checking to see if Callie was following.

Callie just stood there, trying to stop herself from sobbing. After quite some time, she started to leave. She kept her gaze at the ground so hopefully nobody would bother her. It was getting dark, so she started to rush to the apartment she stayed at. Since she wasn't paying attention to where she was going, she rammed right into someone, sending them both toppling to the ground. The man fell backward, causing Callie to hit her face on the pavement. Owwww.

"Oh! I'm so sorry! I wasn't watching where I was going!" Callie said, quickly getting off of the stranger.

"Oh don't worry, it's fine! I-" he said, suddenly pausing after realising who it was. His cheeks turned a little red. He quickly got up and put out his hand. Callie looked up and, hesitantly, let him help her up. She could feel her cheeks getting hot, and she tried hard to fight the blush.

Oh, crap! How embarrassing! I've JUST met him, and I'm already blushing! Like a weirdo!

"Oh… Ummm… Thank you." She stuttered as her voice caught in her throat. Woah, his eyes are such a pretty shade of grey, almost like a storm. His hair, slicked back, was a dark teal, almost black. His face was chiselled, but only a little bit. And not to mention his strapping figure. Wait… What?

"Yeah! Anytime! I just have to say, I'm a huge fan! If you need anything, I'll most likely be training for Turf Wars." He gave her a little wink, and then walked off.

Callie exhaled, not realising that she was holding her breath. She slapped her face a few times to make sure she wasn't blushing. She looked around to make sure he wasn't there, and when she didn't see him, slumped down on the ground. What the heck is wrong with me! What was going on with my face! Why was I paying attention to his wonderful eyes! Ugggh!

Sighing, she slowly stood up, and walked to her apartment. She stepped inside to see Marie, tapping her foot and looking aggravated. She stepped forward, and oh so aggressively, poked her in the chest.

"Where have you been?! You were gone for like, two and a half hours! What were you doing!" Marie exclaimed. She looked at Callie's face, which had a huge gash on one cheek, and her hands and knees were all scraped up. "Callie, what happened? You're bleeding."

Gently, Callie touched her cheek to find her fingers were coated in blood. In a shaky voice, she responded, "Oh, it's nothing. I fell… Nothing to worry about."

"Well, let's get you cleaned up."

The rubbing alcohol stung like crazy, but she didn't want Marie to get mad at her even more. Although, she couldn't understand why she was still mad, since she did tell her the truth. Then again, two and a half hours is quite a while. Suddenly, a random question popped in her head, and she realised that it was too late to stop herself.

"Do you know what it feels like to be in love?"

Marie looked at her, as expected, like she had asked the most crazy and unbelievable question. Getting back to disinfecting the cuts she said, "No, I can't say that I do. Why do you ask?" She threw on a devilish grin, and then proceeded to wiggle her eyebrows. "Who is it?"

"Nobody. I was just curious." she responded, before she could say anything else idiotic. Marie's smile left as fast as it came, and it was silent for the rest of the night.

Callie couldn't go to sleep. She just couldn't. It wasn't the fact that she was aching, which she was, but it was something else. Just close your eyes, and go to sleep. She took a few deep breaths, hopefully trying to get her to calm down. Just close your eyes, and go to sleep. She continued to repeat this phrase until it made no sense to her anymore. Her thoughts trailed off, and one thought led to another, and she was thinking of that boy she had seen. Hm. I never got his name. I wonder if I can find him tomorrow. I'll have to… find… him… she faded off into a deep, dreamless sleep.

Callie quietly tapped her foot, trying to make up her mind. She couldn't decide whether or not she should go and meet him, or if she should just stay home. Oh, c'mon. It can't be THAT bad. He's just a normal Inkling, and it's not like he's a criminal or anything. Standing, she walked out the door to search for him.

Once she made it to the training centre, she remembered what he had said the night before, "If you need anything, I'll most likely be training for Turf Wars." She looked around, looking for someone that looked even remotely like him. Then, they made eye contact. He waved and came over, a little rushed.

"Hi, Callie! You okay? Last night you hit the ground pretty hard."

Blushing, again, she cheerfully replied, "Oh, yeah! I'm fine. And uh… I never got your name."

"My name's Shark," he held his hand out, "nice to officially meet you!"

"Nice to meet you, too." She said, shaking his hand. He looked up and smiled, showing off his dimples. She smiled and blushed some more, and angrily thought, Stop doing that! It's… It's weird! Snapping out of her thought, she noticed he was blushing as well.

Letting go of his hand, she blurted, "Oh, uh, I should probably get going. Marie's gonna get mad if I don't show soon… So, bye."

"What? You just got here! What's the rush?" Shark chuckled.

"I'm really sorry, but I gotta go. Maybe next time." Callie quickly left, head hung low, wishing she hadn't left.
