Life is cruel.
There's no sugarcoating it.
There's no shaping it.
There's no running from it.
There's no hiding from it,
And there's definitely no manipulating it.
We just deal with it.
We play by it's rules.
We follow it's every order.
We sacrifice so much for it.
We please it in every way,
But it's never enough.
It seeks pain.
It seeks misery.
It seeks torture.
It seeks sickness.
It seeks poverty.
It seeks death.
No matter how much chaos it causes.
It never is satisfied.
But first it gives.
It gives awareness.
It gives success.
It gives fortune.
It gives glory.
It gives fame.
It gives care.
It gives peace.
It gives harmony.
It gives happiness.
But there comes the time where it stops giving us things and starts taking them away.
It takes what you admire.
It takes what you cherish.
It takes what you love.
It takes what you need.
It rips it all away and leaves you in tears.
It never cares,
In fact it probably never cared at all.
It has no boundaries to make itself satisfied.
Some think they've tamed it.
Some think they've figured it out.
Some think they got it by the throat.
But it never yields.
It always finds a way to leave you broken, beat, and scarred.
And all you can do,
Is live on.
But what if, and this is a big if.
It throws you a bone.
It gives you a chance to get back the one thing you love most.
The one thing you weren't complete without.
The one thing that you would sacrifice for.
What if it gave you a chance to make it right.
What if it gave you a chance to return everything back to the way it was before it was ripped away from you so much.
What if
You could be happy again.
The only catch?
You had to start all over again.
