"Are you sure about this?" Raichi asks his friend standing next to him as they both stand across the street from Eijun's house. The sun has just set below the horizon. Even though it's now March and the days are getting longer, the sun still sets pretty early.

"Of course I'm sure," Sanada nods. "As I said before, this is the best way to figure out what's wrong with the tanuki dude. Just remember," Sanada adds. "Make sure you don't mention anything about you know what."

Raichi nods, eyes wide, to show he understands. "Got it, Sanada. It's just that…" Raichi pauses as he looks at Sanada. "Now that you've already gotten out of your clothes, can you please just change into your cat form now?" he begs the taller man. Even though the taller man was standing behind one of Eijun's neighbor's bushes, Raichi couldn't help but feel like someone would see Sanada's very naked form.

And that was definitely something he could not be able to deal with tonight.

Sanada's face flushes in embarrassment when he realizes what Raichi is referring to. "Yeah, I guess I can do that," he says as he squats lower to the ground.

Seconds later, Sanada shifts into his cat form. Raichi slowly picks him up in his arms as he takes a deep breath and turns to face Sawamura's house.

Raichi guesses this is the point where he has to 'rip the band-aid off' or so they say. He just needs to go over to the front door and bring Sanada inside. The shifters in the house will be able to finish the rest of the plan without him.

Man, calling this a 'plan' makes Raichi feel like he's doing something wrong or illegal. Then again, Raichi is technically lying to one of his best friends, but as Sanada said, they need to keep this a secret for their safety.

Raichi takes a deep breath before he walks over to the house across the street. Before he can even knock on the front door, he can already hear Eijun's loud voice talking to someone inside.

Oh, did Eijun invite someone else over to this thing tonight? That might make things a little awkward. Why couldn't he have told Raichi of this before now?

Raichi slowly knocks on the door and within seconds, Eijun swings the door open.

"Ah Raichi! You're here!" Eijun smiles and yells out as he greets his friend at the door. Looking at the cat in Raichi's arms, he adds, "And you've brought your cat as well!"

"Ah, yeah," Raichi says right before Eijun grabs his shoulder and pulls him into his house.

"Did I ever introduce you to Harucchi?!" Eijun asks loudly as he points to the man sitting on a chair across the room. "He lives a couple houses down and he's great! Helped me nurse my tanuki back to health and everything! Hey Harucchi! Did I ever introduce you to Raichi?!"

"No, I don't believe you have," Haruichi says as the pink-haired man walks over to the other two men. When he notices what Raichi is holding in his arms, he asks. "Is that a cat in your arms?"

Raichi gulps and nods nervously. "Yep, it's my pet cat… his name's Sanada."

"Why'd you bring your cat to a … game and movie night?" Haruichi questions.

"Um…" Raichi starts nervously. "Sawamura asked me to bring him over. Something about a tanuki?"

"Yes!" Eijun nods eagerly from where he stands between the two men. "That's the real reason I asked you two to come over, to see if Raichi's cat can get that stupid fox over there out of my house," he quietly mutters the last part as he glares over his shoulder at the fox in question.

The fox in question seems to know the humans across the room are talking about him, and he simply moves closer to lie next to the tanuki on Eijun's couch.

Haruichi proceeds to look at Eijun like he's a dumbass. "This is the most stupidest thing I've ever heard of." Then, turning to Raichi, he asks. "Are you guys sure about this? A house cat and two wild animals?"

"Of course, it will be fine," Eijun assures the pink-haired man.

"Sanada likes meeting new animals," Raichi shrugs his shoulders and raises the cat in his arms. "He'll be happy to make more friends."

The pink haired man continues to look at the two like they have lost their minds and simply hums, unconvinced. But he decides not to say anything else. He'll just run damage control when this 'plan' or whatever you call this, eventually fails.

Miyuki doesn't know what Mei was thinking, or how exactly he was able to get all of these people to come to the human's -Sawamura's- house. Especially since it seems that despite not making the connection, Sawamura hates both Mei in his human iand/i? fox form.

But nevertheless, Mei was able to do it. Although Miyuki thinks that Eijun's pink-haired neighbor being here probably wasn't a part of this plan. That part might actually work against their plan here.

From what Miyuki can tell, the pink haired dude, Haru-something is his name (Miyuki can only know for sure on the first part, he suspects that Sawamura butchers the pronunciation of the second half), is supposed to be pretty knowledgeable when it comes to animals and their behaviors. If there's one thing Miyuki knows however, is that Sawamura is an idiot when it comes to that stuff. The man has two wild animals living in his house after all. One animal being one that obviously hates Sawamura's guts.

So now it seems another one of Sawamura's friends has arrived here, carrying a cat for some reason.

Well, not just any cat. Mei told him the basic details of his plan. That doesn't sound like they will be successful at all but here they are anyway.

The only saving grace in this is that Miyuki knows from his past interactions with Sanada, that the man can be much more trustworthy than Mei when it comes to… doing just about anything.

Now that Miyuki thinks about it, he's known that Sanada has been a shifter for a while now, at least since he met him his freshman year of college, which has been what? About three years now?

But in all that time, Miyuki has yet to see Sanada in his shifter form. Kind of weird now that he thinks about it. But while Miyuki can do stuff with Mei outside in the forest, being a fox and a tanuki, a housecat interacting with those two animals would be kind of weird.

Also, they didn't even interact that often with Sanada in their human forms anyway, so…

"Would you stop thinking so much?" Mei grumbles into his ear when Miyuki sees Sawamura turn and glare at them. "Sanada's finally here now, so that means he can finally figure out what's wrong with you."

"I'm just wondering what you think the eventual outcome of this thing will be… when it comes to what's going through the humans' mind, that is," Miyuki answers as he sees Raichi put Sanda down on the floor and the cat comes over to them.

To Haruichi's pleasant surprise though, it seems no animals are going to be hurt in this… hairbrained scheme.

However, it does look like this isn't going in the direction Eijun wanted it to go.

When Raichi's cat was initially put on the ground, the first thing the cat did was go over to the two other animals lying on the couch. Which Haruichi found surprising and not cat-like behavior.

Then, the cat started pawing at the two animals, causing them to wake up from their little nap and look at the animal.

There were a couple long minutes that Haruichi was truly worried he was going to need to break up a fight among the animals. This didn't last long however, and later on in the night, he could hear EIjun yell out, "The cat was supposed to get the fox out of here, not become allies with it!"
