It is 3019,
The One Ring wasn't destroyed, Gollum got away with the Ring when Frodo was fixing to cast it in to Mount Doom, Gollum was found by followers of Sauron, Sauron got the One Ring.
With the power of the Ring Sauron slowly took over Middle Earth, But he wasn't happy once all of Middle earth was his. He discovered a potion that would send any one in the future. Sauron sent Orcs to our time. So that he could take over the earth.
