Over the course of the five years following the signing of Heather's Contract with Lilith, a lot of things had changed for the young Umbra Witch, most of them being improvements compared to her earlier life. In addition to becoming a formidable combatant and as a result able to pay off Rodin for acquiring Heather's Umbran Watch in the form of both Infernal Orbs and Halos, Viola and Heather had become legal guardian and ward respectively with the two being registered in the legal system as half-sisters. Something that was prompted when Heather unintentionally called Viola 'big sis' out loud with the older girl returning the sentiment by calling Heather her little sister. Despite the fact that she wanted to, Heather didn't change her legal last name to match Viola for various reasons, the main one being to not only maintain the ruse of the two being half-sisters but also because Rodin informed her that she might be set up for quite the inheritance in what the local magic users known as Wizards and Witches called the Wizarding World and she wouldn't be able to claim it once she was old enough if she changed her name, not that Heather would have really cared as she hadn't really been particularly attached to her last name but could see the benefits of keeping it.
Another change that occurred throughout the years was that Heather had managed to secure a pair of secondary Contracts, letting her summon two new Infernals, both of whom were members of the Succubus tribe, and obtain a new pair of weapons that her new secondary Contractors infused a bit of their essence into. The first new Contractor was the Infernal known as Nevan, the Lightning Bringer, who infused a bit of her essence into the weapon known as Blitzbringer. Allowing Heather to fire bolts and call upon strikes of lightning by playing the literally electrifying guitar that was the Blitzbringer as well as assume a new form via Demon Masquerade. Heather's second new Contractor took an interest in not only her but also an interest in one of Rodin's older side-projects, a nameless weapon that could easily been described as 'a really big and heavy sword with a rocket booster and launcher built into it' before the infusion of the Infernal's essence, changing the weapon into something that could easily be called 'a giant rocket boosted chainsaw that could transform into various missile/rocket launching devices'. The Infernal in question was the one known as Pandora, Tinkerer of Disaster, a female Infernal with sort-of cybernetic limbs, that prompted Rodin to christen the weapon Pandemonium Missile Slaughter. While Heather was simply confused why Viola snickered upon first hearing the name of the weapon, the Pandemonium Missile Slaughter quickly became one of Heather's favorite weapons, namely because of how satisfying it was to either cutting Angels (and occasionally lesser Infernals) in two or blowing them up with its rocket propelled ordinances. The fact that the form that the young Umbra Witch could assume via Demon Masquerade essentially turned Heather into a humanoid fighter jet capable of going faster than the speed of sound at top speed but was difficult to maneuver due to the sheer amount of g-force only further cemented Pandemonium Missile Slaughter as one of Heather's favorite weapons, especially when it was made abundantly clear that Heather was quite an adrenaline junkie, evidenced by her cackling like a maniac after a few minutes of using the true-flight capable Demon Masquerade-form for the first time, much to the worry of both Viola and Rodin. The respective Demon Masquerade-forms Heather assumed through My Red Requiem and Blitzbringer being only capable of gliding and what could be described as short range rapid movement via the manipulation of electromagnetism respectively.
Despite having been an Umbra Witch for the last five years, there were some things that still caught Heather off guard, one of which being a clearly exhausted owl flying through the open window of her room on a really hot morning and crashing into (rather loudly) her alarm clock, which was shaped like a certain orange cartoon cat's head who Heather's actual pet-cat, that she adopted from an animal shelter, resembled, albeit being female and given the name of Pumpkin. Pumpkin's personality also resembled the cartoon character that she physically resembled, albeit without an obsession with food outside of what was expected of a normal cat. Rolling over to give the owl a curious look, Heather didn't immediately notice that the owl had something with it. Only after poking the unconscious owl in curiosity did the young Umbra Witch notice the letter that had ended up on the floor, who proceeded to sit up while inspecting the letter after picking it up, which caused the bedsheet to fall down, revealing not only that she had been hit by puberty early but also that she preferred to sleep in a way that she definitely wouldn't have gotten away with at her former location of residence (she never considered it home and therefore refused to acknowledge it as such).
"HEATHER! WHAT IN THE NAME OF INFERNO WAS THAT NOISE!?" Shouted Viola before making a noise that Heather recognized as the older girl taking a gulp from a bottle, whether it was soda or not was unclear however, from the other side of the door to Heather's room, sounding like she was practically boiling.
"AN OWL WITH A LETTER OF ALL THINGS!" Replied Heather, who proceeded to start searching for one of her 'breakfast/before bed-shirts' oversized t-shirts Heather wore during specific times of the day. "IT LOOKS LIKE IT'S FLOWN AROUND THE WORLD OR SOMETHING!"
"…"
"…"
"…"
"Viola?"
"Still here. I'll go prepare some water for the bird, and myself. Let's see what that letter says… AND DON'T FORGET GRABBING AT LEAST A SHIRT FOR BREAKFAST… AGAIN!"
"OH COME ON! I'VE ONLY DONE THAT ONCE… THIS MONTH!"
"IT'S BEEN SIX TIMES THIS MONTH AND ONE OF THEM WAS YESTERDAY!"
