Welcome all to my newest and latest fanfic, Yugioh: The Fallout! This is a story that combines Yugioh and Fallout 4. This will be a remake of my first and original Yugioh: The Fallout story. This story will see if a young man in a deep sleep can find new friends in a new world that is unknown to him. I'll run this story with my Yugioh: The New Order. Now for the rules of the story. I will be using all of the current OCG/TCG rules of the game and also I'm using both the current OCG/TCG banlists (OCG Current: October 2022) - (TCG Current: October 2022) and combine them to make one list for the story (I will use banned cards if I have to and will update the story to use the newest ban list changes when I have to. Link and Pendulum monsters will be seen and I'm going to try to use decks I've never used before to make this a very fun story. Also, the Pendulum monsters will have their own Pendulum Zones and instead of 15, the max cards that can be in the Extra Deck will be 20. I will also use cards made by myself, other writers and cards that are only in the manga and anime as well. Also, I'll be using American names, but if the Japanese names are better (Destiny Hero and Sin monsters for example) are better, I'll use the Japanese ones. Also, when I use a "Hero" monster, It'll stay as Hero instead of the TCG way of HERO and also, for cards that are created by me and others, I'll put in GY instead of graveyard. With all of this said and done, let's get this story started! Like all of my stories, this story will be dedicated to my wonderful and loving mother who sadly passed away on September 1st, 2021. This is for you, mom!

A bunker underneath Minneapolis, Minnesota/ April 15th, 2276
Ever since the great war between all of the major nations happened back in 2076, The world's major cities have been wiped out by a Nuclear War known as the Great War. Billions of people were killed in the Nuclear Blasts and the world had suddenly gone quieter. Over the years, survivors have roamed the United Commonwealth. This was once only used to describe the area of Massachusetts, but since the nuclear attacks devastated the world and its allies, the name was introduced to the United States area of the world and was now known as the United Commonwealth and each state was it's own Commonwealth state. for years now, survivors were trying to find supplies to survive and move on with their lives as best as they could. People have roamed the cities for a place to live and call their own. Times have passed since them and before the bombs were set off, the giant Defense company Vault-Tec built many defense bunkers, known as vaults alll around the world for in case of the fated Nuclear Devastation on the world. Each major city in the World had a vault built in secret over the years. Some vaults were used by tests by Vault-Tec over the years. Since those early times, the abandoned vaults were now used by anyone that needed a place to live or a group wanted to live in peace with others in it. We go to a small vault called Vault 36 underneath the quieter area of Minneapolis. In a small room, a young man wearing a blue medical gown that said Vault 36 on it and he was laying down on a beautiful white bed and there was a closet nearby as well and he had brown hair and a thin body.
He moaned as he continued to lay on the bed.
"Young man, it is time for you to wake up. The world is in shambles right now.", a female voice said in his head.
He moaned as he slowly opened his blue eyes and he looked around and replied, "What was that deep voice I just heard? The only one here in this room."
"I'm chatting with you from another place, young man. You are needed right now to came find us."
"Okay..then. Where are you even located?"
"I'm afraid I can't tell you anything else besides what I just said to you, young one. Please understand we want to help you in anyway we can. First of all, do you even remember your own name?"
"Not really. Where am I right now?"
"You are in a small underground bunker known as Vault 36, young man. You are below one of the residential areas of the city of Minneapolis. You are about 5 miles away from the downtown area of the city. Head to the closet and see what's inside."
He slowly got up and walked over to it and opened it up and inside was a large red box that said PIP-BOY MODEL X1AB on it, a sweatshirt, sweat pants and a small red box and he replied, "What now?"
"Take the Pip Boy box and take what is inside out it and slid it onto your arm now."
She nodded as she grabbed the large box and opened it up and inside was a small computer screen attached to a large leather band that fit over the arm and he replied, "What is a Pip Boy?"
"It's a device Vault Tec created for people living in vaults. It allows access to and out of the vaults. Also, it tells the air tempature, your body temp and it counts as a duel disk as well."
He nodded as he slid the device onto the arm and it glowed as well and then the screen lit up and as it began to hum with energy, a small male-like human appeared wearing a blue suit and it began to speak, "Welcome back, Mike! Glad to see you back in action! I'm Vault Guy and the guide for your Pip-Boy. The temp in Minneapolis right now is 66 degrees and your body temp is 97.5 at the moment. You are good to go! Have a nice day!"
He nodded as the virtual guy vanished and then he replied, "Very nice. Where is the duel monsters deck?"
"In the other box, young man.", The voice answered.
She went back to the closet and opened the other box and inside was a deck of 50 cards and a Extra Deck full of various Fusions, Synchros and Xyz monsters in it and he took the deck and on the pip boy was a small compartment where the decks are stored opened up and he slid the deck into it and it quickly closed back up and he opened the second one where the Extra Deck was and slid that one into it as well and then replied, "What do I do now?"
"Head above ground and head to a major settlement known as New Mallvilla about 15 miles away from your location right now, young man. You're off to a good start. I will talk to you later."
He moaned as the voice stopped in his head and he sighed and replied, "Time to get this adventure on the road, I guess."
He grabbed the sweats and replied, "I need a shower."
He saw a nearby room that said BATHROOM on it and he smiled as and went inside and the door closed behind him.

Residental Area / Minneapolis
3:00pm
As he left the vault, the elevator took into a abandoned townhouse that had some bottles of water, a handgun and some ammo and a medkit box with bandages and a couple of needles with medicine in them as well as a large blue backpack. He grabbed all of them and then he left the home and walked out it and was amazed at what he saw outside. Almost every building and car were destroyed and unusable and it was a clear sky with the sun shinning down on the world.
He looked around and replied, "Wow. What a world this is right now. Any advice?"
"A little bit, young man. About a mile in a cul-de-sac nearby are a couple of raiders with a vehicle. If you want to, challenge them. Be careful. Raiders are some of the scummiest people in the Commonwealth right now. If you do face them, they won't do unless you offer them something. I wish you the best of luck if you do duel them."
The voice stopped as he walked down the street and saw two raiders placing two large boxes in the back of a large SUV. The taller one was a female that wore a leather soldier-like outfit that showed off her cleavage quite a bit she had a tattoo of a large skull on fire on both sides of her neck and the guy next to her was a taller and a little bit older then she was and he wore a tattered soldiers outfit and he had a orange-haired mohawk as well and they both had a rifle on their backs as well.
The guy sighed and replied, "Nothing much from this hull, boo. It's getting harder and harder to find decent supplies these days."
The female raider nodded and replied, "At least we found some medical supplies from that caved in home back there, Cole. Nothing big, but a haul is a haul. I really don't want to put up with Sinjin's crap when we get back. He may be one of the group leaders, but he is a true pain in the ass. I can't wait for us to be on our own someday."
"Always with a plan. That's why I fell in love with you, my dear Cinder. You are hot and sexy."
She smiled as they continued to load their vehicle with the stuff they found and then Mike got closer to them and the raiders quickly turned around and saw him and Cinder quickly got her rifle out and aimed at him and replied, "Who the hell are you, kid?"
He then replied, "I'm Mike and I'm just looking for supplies and a vehicle."
She aimed the rifle at his head and replied, "Just walk away and I'll leave you alone, brat."
Her boyfriend saw the pip boy on his arm and he replied, "That kid has one of those fancy pip boys on the arm, boo. We should duel for one of them. Sinjin is offering bonuses for anyone that can find one."
Cinder nodded as they both put away their rifles and she replied, "Sorry about that threat, kid. How about you have a duel with my boyfriend Cole. and if we win, I want that pip boy and everything in that fancy backpack of yours as well."
"Fine with me. If I win, I get your vehicle and both of your rifles for myself."
Cinder looked at her vehicle and replied, "I don't care much about that rusted hunk of junk right now. You have yourself a deal, kid."
He took a duel disk from the nearby box and slid it onto his arm and as he slid her deck into it, Mike pushed a button her pip boy and it then it folded out into a duel a disk with her deck and Extra Decks ready to go and Cinder replied, "Ready for my guy to crush you and your lousy deck, kid?"
He only sighed as both disks activated and the disks auto-shuffled their decks and as they both drew 5 cards, Mike's eyes began to glow white before they went back to their normal color.
"Game on!", Cole yelled out.
(Cole LP: 8000) - (Mike LP: 8000)
Mike then replied, "I'll begin with a monster facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Cole drew a card and replied, "I summon my Molten Zombie."
As he sat the card down, a fiery Pyro appeared with a low moan (ATK: 1,600).
"Destroy his facedown monster!"
The creature glowed as a burst of fiery embers flew out and a Swordsman of Landstar appeared on the card (DEF: 1,200) and the fiery attack struck it and it he groaned and shattered to pieces.
"You defended with a weakling? I'll set a card and that'll end my turn now."
Mike drew a card and replied, "I activate Psychic Cyclone."
The spell appeared.
"I get to guess what your facedown card is and if I Call it right, it's destroyed and I Draw a card and if I'm wrong, you draw card. I'm guessing a trap."
A burst of energy shot out and smashed his facedown Bottomless Trap Hole to bits.
"I now summon my Master of the Flaming Dragonswords."
As he sat the card down, a knight with two fiery swords appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"Lets do it. Destroy his monster."
The Warrior went and slashed at the Pyro and it exploded into fiery embers & puffs of black smoke (Cole LP: 7800).
"Your nove now, raider."
Cole drew a card and replied, "I"ll set a monster and a card facedown and that'll do it for me."
Mike drew a card and replied, "I summon my Axe Raider."
As he sat the card down, the axe-wielding barbarian appeared (ATK: 1,700).
"Lets do it. Attack."
The stronger Warrior went in and a UFO Turtle appeared on the card (DEF: 1,000) and it slashed at it and smashed it into broken metal and a 2nd Turtle appeared (ATK: 1,400) and Axe Raider went in and smashed into red metal fragments that flew around the raider (Cole LP: 7500) and then a Flamvell Poun appeared (ATK: 200).
"I see. Your turn now."
Cole drew a card and replied, "I tribute my small fiend for my Skeleblazer."
As the small fiery monkey vanished into fiery embers, A large orange skeleton covered in red flowing flames appeared (ATK: 2,200).
"Lets do this. Scorch his Raider."
The huge Pyro glowed as a whirlwind of flames shot out and struck, trapping Axe Raider in the middle of it and then burning him to ashes (Mike LP: 7500) and he smiled and replied, "Now you take damage for each fire monster in my graveyard times 100 and I have five of them there right now."
Suddenly, 4 small fireballs shot out and Mike just stood there as it hit him (Mike LP: 7100).
"You'll never beat me, kid! I end my turn now."
Mike drew a card and replied, "I'll switch my monster to defense and then I'll set a new monster facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Cole drew a card and replied, "I summon my Great Angus."
As he sat the card down, the fiery tusked beast appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"Lets do it. Skeleblazer, attack!"
The huge creature let out another whirlwnd of flames it and struck and trapped the other Warrior in the middle of it. He groaned and then blew into small pixelated fragments as the flames got too much for him and 4 more fireballs shot out slammed into him (Mike LP: 6700).
"Angus, attack!"
It charged in again and a Witch of the Black Forest appeared on the card (DEF: 1,200) and the beast tackled the Witch and blew her into small black fragments and then he added a card.
"Your deck won't beat me, kid! I end my turn now."
Mike drew a card and replied, "I summon my Gearfried the Iron Knight."
As he sat the card down, the iron-armored knight appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"Destroy his Skeleblazer."
He rushed in and he quickly discarded a card and he replied, "I discard my Rookie Warrior Lady to weaken your monster."
A younger Warrior Lady of the Wasteland appeared and it flew into the huge Pyro (ATK: 2,200 -0) and the Warrior went and slashed at the Pyro, cutting it in half at the waist. The two halves of the Pyro slowly slid apart and then shattered into red fiery embers as they struck the ground (Cole LP: 5700).
"There you go. I end my turn now."
Cole drew a card and replied, "I'll switch my Angus to defense and then I'll set a new monster facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Mike drew a card and replied, "I'll summon my Dark Blade."
As he sat the card down, the dark swordsman appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"Lets do it. Swordsman, attack."
The dark swordsman made some quick slashes with his sword, blowing Great Angus into small fiery red shards that turned into puffs of smoke.
"Attack his facedown monster."
Gearfried rushed in and a 3rd UFO Turtle appeared on the card (DEF: 1,000) and it swung his sword and smashed into metal pieces that flew everywhere and then a Flamvell Dragonov appeared (ATK: 1,100).
"I see. Your move now."
Cole drew a card and replied, "I summon my Guerilla Kite."
As he sat the card down, the demonic kite appeared (ATK: 1,600).
"I tume them both together!"
The kite let out a deep laugh as it split into 4 white stars, which turned into green rings and the rings went through Dragonov, which turned into 2 white stars (*2 + *4 = *6).
"I Synchro Summon my Flamvell Uruquizas!"
As he sat the card down, the tall fiery Pyro-like humanoid appeared (ATK: 2,100).
"Since my Kite hit the graveyard, you take 500 damage, kid!"
Two small spiked spheres appeared and exploded around him (Mike LP: 6200).
"Attack his Gearfried!"
The Synchro went and punched at the knight and his armor turned bright red before he shattered into shards (Mike LP: 5900) and it's fists began to glow (ATK: 2,100 - 2,400).
"Take that, brat! I end my turn now."
Mike drew a card and replied, "I'll switch my Dark Blade to defense and then I'll set a new monster facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Cole drew a card and replied, "Forget my monster can do piercing damage? I summon my Blazing Inpachi!"
As he sat the card down, the fiery spirit appeared (ATK: 1,850).
"Lets do it. Uruquizas, attack!"
It went and punched, blowing Dark Blade to pieces (Mike LP: 5000) and then the fists began to glow even more (ATK: 2,400 - 2,700).
"Inpachi, attack!"
It swung its fist as a large ball of flames shot out and a Warrior Lady of the Wasteland appeared on the card (DEF: 1,200) and the fireball struck and vanished in a cloud of black smoke and burnt and tattered hat flew to the ground and then turned to ash and then he replied, "I Special Summon my Masaki the Legendary Swordsman."
As he sat the card down, a green-armored samurai appeared (ATK: 1,100) and Cole then replied, "Are you kidding me? That is one of the worst Warrior monsters in the game!"
The young duelist didn't say anything and the raider resumed, "Whatever you say, kid. I'll end my turn now."
He drew a card and replied, "I activate my Reinforcement of the Army."
He added a card and then resplied, "I activate Polymerization to fuse my Masaki with the Hero of the East I Just searched for."
As another samurai appeared and merged with Masaki, A samurai with silver and Green armor and with two silver katanas for weapons appeared (ATK: 2,200).
"Meet the powerful Masaki the Legend of the East."
Cole then replied, "Some warrior. It's weaker then my Synchro monster."
"Doesn't matter to him. Destroy his Synchro with Swords of the East."
It rushed in and he resumed, "If I send the top card of my deck to the graveyard, My samurai gains attack equal to half of the attack of the monster it's attacking."
As he took the top card of his (Which was a Fairy Meteor Crush Spell Card) and discarded it, the swords glowed even more (ATK: 2,200 - 3,550) as it went in and slashed at the Pyro and it exploded into a fiery cloud of black smoke & soot (Cole LP: 4850) and then his swords went back to normal (ATK: 3,550 - 2,200).
"There you go. Your turn now."
Cole drew a card and replied, "You are clever, kid. I'll switch my Inpachi to defense and then I'll set a monster and that'll end my turn now."
Mike drew a card and replied, "I summon my other Gearfried."
As he sat the card down, the iron knight appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"Lets do it. Gearfried, attack."
The knight went and slashed with his sword and the Inpachi burst in a shower of ash.
"Your turn now, Samurai."
The fusion went in and a Morphing Jar appeared on the card (DEF: 600) and he slashed at it and smashed it into small brittle pieces of pottery and Mike didn't have to discard anything and the raider discarded his only card (A Charcoal Inpachi) and then both drew 5 cards and replied, "Your turn now."
Cole drew a card and replied, "I activate Fire Recovery."
The spell appeared.
"I'll discard a Fire to Special Summon one."
As he took a Flamvell Archer and discarded it, Skeleblazer reappeared (ATK: 2,200).
"I'l now summon my other Angus!"
As he sat the card down, another of the beasts appeared (ATK: 1,800) and then he opened his field slot and replied, "I'm hitting you hard now! I activate my Molten Destruction!"
As he slid the card into the slot and it closed up, the area turned into a fiery wasteland (ATK: 2,200 - 2,700) - (ATK: 1,800 - 2,300) and Cinder smiled evily and replied, "You are so fucked now, kid!"
"Lets do it. Destroy his Gearfried, Blazer!"
It let out another whirlwind of flames and the hot flames engulfed the knight and melted him into a pile of molten metal (Mike LP: 4100) and then 11 fireballs flew in and slammed into him (Mike LP: 3000).
"Angus, attack!"
It charged in and rammed into the Samurai and he groaned and burst into triangles (Mike LP: 2900) and he nodded and replied, "I use his effect now. When he goes down in battle, I can summon one of the monsters used to Fusion Summon it."
Hero of the East appeared and knelt (DEF: 1,100).
"You'll never beat me, kid! I end my turn now."
Mike drew a card and replied, "I now play Silent Doom."
Axe Raider appeared (DEF: 1,150).
"I now overlay my 2 Level 4 monsters."
Both Warriors began to glow before they turned into white orbs and a portal opened up, which they flew into.
"I use these monsters to build the Overlay Network and Xyz Summon. I summon a mighty Warrior that'll destroy anything in his path. I Xyz Summon my Zubaba General."
As he sat the card down, a mighty Warrior with a huge sword for a weapon appeared (ATK: 2,000).
"I'll remove a Xyz monster to boost his attack power up."
As he took the Hero of the East and discarded it, a Divine Knight Ishzark appeared and flew into the sword (ATK: 2,000 - 4,300).
"Next, I activate my Mystical Space Typhoon."
The storm began and the field was returned to normal (ATK: 2,700 - 2,200) - (ATK: 2,300 - 1,800).
"Time to fight. Destroy his Great Angus."
It went in and slashed at the mighty beast, bisecting it. The two halves shattered to little bits (Cole LP: 2550).
"There you go. Your turn now."
The raider drew a card and replied, "I'll switch my Pyro to defense and then I'll set a new monster facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Mike drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and then I'll attack your Skeleblazer."
The knight went in and slashed at the giant Pyro and it exploded in a shower of ash & smoke.
"I'll set a card and it's your move, buddy."
Cole drew a card and replied, "I flip my facedown monster up!"
As he did so, a Flame Ruler appeared (ATK: 1,500).
"I tribute it for my Inferno Flame Emperor!"
As the Pyro vanished, the demon-like Pyro appeared with a loud roar (ATK: 2,700).
"i'll banish a Fire monster to destroy your warrior's equip!"
As he took both Great Angus's and banished them, the equipped card shattered to bits (ATK: 4,300 - 2,000).
"Destroy that thing!"
The huge Pyro roared as a a huge shower of fiery meteors shot out and struck the Knight and he groaned and exploded into shards (Mike LP: 2200) and then he quickly replied, "I activate my Call of the Haunted."
The trap flipped up and his Fusion from before appeared (ATK: 2,200).
"Next turn, you are done for! I'll set a card and that'll end my turn now."
Mike drew a card and Cole quickly replied, "I activate my Breakthrough Skill on your Fusion!"
The trap appeared and his fusion glowed.
"I knew you'd try that one on me. I activate my De-Fusion."
The Fusion vanished and the two samurais appeared (ATK: 1,100 x2).
"I now play Monster Reborn."
The spell appeared and Gearfried reappeared (ATK: 1,800).
"I offer my 3 monsters to summon the mighty and powerful Gilford the Lightning."
As the Warriors vanished into particles of light, the mighty Gilford appeared (ATK: 2,800) and Cinder groaned and replied, "Damn, he was so close!"
His sword glowed as a burst of electricity shot out and slammed into the Pyro and it exploded in a huge cloud of fiery ash & smoke and Cole groaned and replied, "We'll be back and we will destroy you, kid!"
"Come and get me then. GIlford, end this duel."
The mighty warrior went and slashed at the raider, knocking him on his back (Cole LP: 0) and Cinder groaned and replied, "Sinjin will never let us live this crap down."
Mike watched as the raider stood up and replied, "You owe me some stuff, raider."

Psychic Cyclone / Quick-Play Spell Card

Select 1 face-down Spell or Trap Card your opponent controls and declare if it is a Spell or Trap Card. Destroy that card. If you were right, draw 1 card. If not, your opponent draws 1 card.
Note: Was used by Armstrong in the Yugioh 5Ds anime episode "The Lockdown Duel (Part 2)".
Masaki the Legend of the East
Warrior/Fusion/Effect/Earth/ATK: 2,200/DEF: 2,200/6 Stars
"Masaki the Legendary Swordsman" + "Hero of the East"
When this card attacks a monster, you can send the top card of your deck to the GY, this gains ATK equal to half of the ATK of the monster's it's attacking during damage calculation only. When this card is destroyed as a result of battle; Special Summon one of the monsters used to Fusion Summon this card from your GY or you have banished to your side of the field.

Skeleblazer
Pyro/Fire/Effect/ATK: 2,200/DEF: 1,000/6 Stars
When this card destroys a monster in battle: Inflict 100 damage to your opponent for each FIRE monster in your GY.

Mike gets his first win in this new world. In the next chapter, he gets what he won and meets another ally and his pet and after that, this duelist challenges another raider to a duel. Who is this ally and can he get the win? Find out in the next chapter and I'm keeping to myself for now.
