A/N: I was bored, and this just came to me. Please review.
Disclaimer: Not mine.
What they had was so simple and yet so beautiful, it just took your breath away. It was purely a platonic friendship, and I know that some people would argue that friendship is nothing compared to raw, passionate love but I beg to differ.
Friendship is the foundations of every relationship, where would you be without friends? And true, pure friendship like theirs was simply amazing. The second you saw them together you knew they had something special, the strongest friendship two people could have without being involved as a couple.
They had years of trust built up, they had inside jokes, communications hidden deep in their eyes. When you saw them you wished your friends where like that, and you envied them so much for being able to find each other in a world like this.
There was this simple connection that bought them together, same sense of humour, similar personalities but this simple connection grew into something so much bigger. They were great together, they knew what the other was thinking and they worked incredibly together. They were everything to each other, they were each others family.
I know it sounds hard to believe- a friendship like that, but they were true friends. If one of them was hurting the other would feel it- that kind of friends. It seems right to say that now, they deserved to have people know how deeply they cared for each other, and the others like myself, who they let into their hearts. But I have never seen a friendship that compares to theirs. It seems so wrong, so trivial that in their line of work something like a car crash took their lives. Where ever they are, I hope they are happy and I hope that they are together, because that's where they will be happiest. Rest in peace, Danny and Samantha.
Martin stepped away from the podium back to where Vivian and Jack were standing, tears streaming down their faces.
"That was beautiful." whispered Vivian. "They would have loved it."
