Chapter One Hundred-Thirteen

Finishing Up, Visitors Old and New

A/N – Buying your first vehicle can be interesting but with the Bordens everything is an adventure. I hope you can see that not only is Wyatt, Lyndy's soul mate but he is becoming a real part of the family. His character has been a lot of fun to develop and trust me there is more of him and Lyndy coming up. Also, I tried to give a peak into JT's illness and how the love of a family can help him get through it. Some have questioned the relationship I have developed with him and his passed grandma and great grandma. I believe all of us have experienced connections with our past family. I constantly quote things my father and grandfather use to say and they have been gone a long time. I have researched this and found that many are in the belief that there are some who can connect this way, so I will continue to insert it when appropriate. Christmas is close and the school semester is winding down. Some visitors are on the way and one will be a complete surprise and I am excited to see how that storyline develops. Amy and Ty continue to focus on their family, work, JT and the future, which continues to evolve. Exams will put a little pressure on the older kids but I expect they will survive. Keep the reviews coming and feel free to spread the word about my tale. I am committed to continuing to provide you a story of the Bordens, centered around the Amy and Ty love story. Lyndy woke up smiling still so happy about the last couple of days. She was so excited about Wyatt getting his license and of course his new truck. She planned today to see if her mom and dad still wanted to do lunch. She got dressed for the day in her work clothes as she had two horses to work and some other work in the barn. They had a pretty big study session planned for midafternoon. Along with Wyatt, Annie, Addie and Maddie the last two weeks before the break would be a challenge. She also had some evaluations at Goddard that would hopefully move her up in several classes. She gently knocked on Wyatt's door and peaked in. To her surprise, his bed was made. She checked the rest of the rooms and everyone was still sleeping except JT who was in his bed looking through a book. She climb into next to him and hugged him, "How are you doing buddy. And where is Wyatt?" He laughed, "I am Ok, still kind of embarrassed about yesterday but all good." He purposefully neglected the other question as Lyndy got up and looked out the window. She looked at him, "Where is Wyatt's truck?" He looked away saying, "I can't tell you." She went back to him and began tickling it out of him. He was steadfast and held his tongue, "I can't tell you, Oh I am feeling dizzy." She leaned back with her eyes wide open as he giggled, "Gotcha." She continued her tickling until she heard a truck pull up in the front. She screamed with glee, "It's Wyatt." She ran out the door as JT rolled his eyes as she headed out to the porch. As she got to the door it swung open knocking herself down. Wyatt stood there holding a box and several bags. "Are you Ok Lyndy, are you hurt?" She recovered and leaped into his arms as he struggled to hold the items he had. "I am fine, what is all this." He proudly smiled, "Well with my newfound freedom, and after I got permission from Amy and Ty I went into town and got some donuts, bagels, croissants and different spreads for breakfast. I thought after the last two days I needed to get something for all of you." He looked as Lyndy looked down seeming to be upset. He put the stuff on the table and went to hug her, "Her baby, what is wrong?" She whispered, "So the truck gives you freedom, I hope I am still a part of that." He leaned back and looked deeply into her deep blue eyes. "Lyndy you are a part of me forever and that will never change, no matter what changes come our way." He kissed her a little longer than usual as she melted in his grasp. Unaware of anything around them they were interrupted when the other Borden kids came into the kitchen. Annie and Addie were gagging at their display of affections and JT had only one thing on his mind, "Yes Bagels!" Amy and Ty came down a few minutes later to see a happy group of kids laying out Wyatt's feast. Maddie laughed, "How cool is this mom and dad, Wyatt drove his new truck with his new driver's license for the first time and got us breakfast." Amy smiled, "Yea that is cool." Addie added, "Yep even though we had to walk in on their full blown make out session we all still kept our appetite. Man they are just like you, gross." Lyndy stuck her tongue out and responded, "Kind of like you when you kiss Desi?" They all laughed as she put her head down blushing.

The day went along well. The lunch with Amy and Ty went well for the young lovebirds. They talked about random things that were happening and Wyatt again thanked them for the party and helping get the new truck. He smiled, "If it's Ok after we drop you off can Lyndy and I go see GG and Lisa as well as Tim and Casey to thank them. When we are with GG we will call Max and Lilly." Ty smiled, "That would be great, be careful and don't stray off course. And don't forget about the study session this afternoon." They smiled in return as Lyndy kissed his cheek, "My man, the driver." Amy laughed at them remembering how Ty acted when she got her license. After they got back they headed back to the office. They saw a note from Annie and Addie, "We are on a picnic trail ride with our boys and friends. Don't worry dad, we will be back at 3:00 for study group." They saw Maddie and Gwen helping Katie with a horse and then saw JT on the top of the rail with Rusty, Hannah and Noah, who were standing close to Rusty, watching Georgie work with a beautiful blue roan. Ty went to check on the colic horse as Amy went over to watch her as well. Rusty smiled and whispered, "What a beautiful horse, the kids are kind of mesmerized." Amy smiled, "Yea, he belongs to the Harwell's, who are long time family friends. Nick is concerned because Raptor, who is a competitive show jumper at the Olympic level is struggling with consistency. They had him shipped her from Winnipeg where they have a huge training facility." Rusty raised his eyes, "Isn't he the guy that helped train Georgie and you too?" Yea he is one of the best Olympic trainers in Canada, the world for that matter, and he needed Georgie to take a look. He is coming over next weekend to check on him and I expect we will have dinner for him at the ranch. I'll make sure you meet him, he is pretty cool." An awestruck Rusty continued to watch as Amy headed back to the office. Ty joined her quickly, "Well the mare is recovering well from the colic surgery, I updated the owner. How are you doing?" Knowing where he was coming from she smiled understanding that after all of the years together he still always made sure she was Ok. "Well lunch was fun but I can't lie. I know Wyatt is a good driver but soon they will be going out on dates and driving to school together. I already worry enough but with a truck in play it is just on my mind. And poor JT still seems a little off. I think now that he knows what he is up against and he is more aware and a little scared. I am going to talk to the doctor and see if maybe he should talk to someone. What do you think babe." He smiled, "Well first off, Wyatt is a good driver and that truck is pretty safe. If we keep enough fear in him he will not be reckless. With JT, he is so aware of things for an almost 4-year-old. I don't think it would hurt but I think we should ask him first. Maybe when the kids are studying, we can head into town and get some ice cream with him." She laughed, "Are you sure the ice cream is just for him?" He went to tickle her, "Look who's talking."

After a successful study session that included Desi, Jeremy, Bella and Maya the kids had a snack and headed out to the barn. Amy, Ty and a highly sugared JT came home soon after and went to see them there. The barn and being with their horses was always the place where they all found solace. They groomed the horses and when finished their guest headed home and the family went back to the house to get ready for dinner. JT had a little bit of an upset stomach so he went with Wyatt, who was pretty tired after his early morning to take a nap. It was going to be a light dinner of soup and grilled sandwiches. While they were getting ready they shared the conversation they had with JT with the four girls. They agreed that their mom should call the doctor but also were in full support of talking to him first. Maddie spoke up, "You know mom and dad he is pretty smart and I know you are the parents and everything but he needs to have a say. I think he will say yes but it would still be nice to ask." The other girls shook their heads in agreement. Dinner was almost ready and a sleepy JT came down to the dining room. Lyndy asked, "Where is Wyatt?" He rubbed his eyes, "Well after he almost pushed me off the bed I went to his bed so I guess he is still in mine." She smiled and went to wake him. Ty's looked at her raising his eyebrow, "Just wake him up and get back down to dinner young lady." She huffed and a few minutes later the two of them came back down laughing. Dinner was relaxed as it the weekend had been action packed. After dinner, the kids went out to see the horses and of course Wyatt had to go see his new baby. JT stayed back with his parents to help and they sat with him. Amy pulled him to her lap, "JT we think you should go talk to the doctor about how you are feeling. You seem to be a little timid lately. Is it because you think you might have an episode?" He smiled weakly, "Yea, it's so embarrassing. I hate how it makes me feel. Can the doctor come to school and can I have my school counselor there to? I really like her and the doctor said he would do that." Ty smiled, "Of course, we will get it set up. Do you want us there?" He smiled again, "Is it Ok that you come but let me sit with them alone? Please don't be mad." They smiled tearily and Amy whispered, "JT we could never be mad at you, we love you to the moon."

The week went well for everyone as the older kids felt they did well on the first round of exams. Ty and Amy allowed Wyatt and Lyndy to drive to school in his truck and even let them pick up Maddie and JT one day. Since it got darker early that was his limit for now. The meeting for JT went very well. As he walked out to see his parents, he was laughing with the two adults he had met with. While he went back to get his stuff to go home, the counselor and doctor went over what they talked about. The counselor spoke up, "We talked through everything. Like he told you he is embarrassed so we assured him that he had no reason to be and that you guys, his siblings and his GG are there for him. He seemed at peace with that." The doctor laughed, "Amy and Ty he is just a delightful child with an old man's soul. He is funny, perceptive and very smart. Those things are probably the reason he is taking things the way he is. You should have no concerns, he will get through this." Amy and Ty smiled and thanked them both as JT skipped back into the room, "Let's get home guys, I want to see Wyatt and maybe go for a ride in his truck. Rolling their eyes the four adults laughed at the energetic young man. That evening at dinner each of the kids went through how their exams went. Annie and Addie had their math exam and both felt they did well. Maddie laughed, "You two didn't cheat by feeling what each other feel do you?" Addie glared at her, "No silly we would never do that. But we are now and we both think you are weird." As tongues stuck out Lyndy interjected. "I had my evaluation at Goddard and I think I did well. If I did, I could move onto the next level class and would be with older kids. I am kind of excited." Wyatt clutched her hand under the table starry eyed, "I can't wait to see you dance again, it Is amazing," JT made a little noise as everyone looked his way, "Ok I am all good with you guys loving it up but at the table is a little gross. Save it for your rides in the new truck." The rest of them sat a little startled at his comment. Finally Ty broke the ice. "JT what do you mean by that?" He chuckled, "Well I have seen you guys all kissy when you get back from somewhere in Old Blue. And I have heard things you know. I'm not a kid." Not wanting to push the issue Amy spoke up, "And everyone, JT had a great day meeting with his counselor and doctor from his team." JT smiled, "Yep it was awesome, it seems I am delightful, funny and smart." Not knowing what to say Maddie changed the conversation to her day. They all laughed and finished dinner, cleaned up, relaxed a bit and got ready for bed.

Friday afternoon the Bordens kids were ready for the weekend. The first week of exams had been hectic and they were looking forward to a fun weekend. Lyndy and Wyatt had a lunch date planned at Maggie's and afternoon movie with just the two of them, their first time using the truck for a date. As they got ready for dinner Maddie notice a black SUV coming down the drive. "Mom someone is here?" She smiled brightly and headed out the front door. To everyone's delight, Maryanne Trudeau and Haley stepped out of the SUV with big smiles. Haley attention was already moving toward a handsome ranch hand who we walking out of the barn swiftly. She broke away and jumped into his arms as Ty and the kids followed their screaming mother. "Maryanne you made it, it is so good to see you." They hugged tightly and joined arms walking to the rest of the family. Haley and Rusty were oblivious to the rest of the people. Maddie screamed, "Why are you guys here, this is so cool." Ty laughed, "Well we wanted to surprise you, but Haley is here with her mom to meet with the Vet program at the University, she has been accepted and starts next semester." They all screamed with glee as Haley finally came to them for hugs and hellos. Wyatt high fived Rusty as his smile was hard to miss. Amy still glued to her friend finally spoke up, "Well surprise, Mrs. Trudeau and Haley will be here for a bit and then Haley will stay through Christmas. After the first of the year she comes back and will be living on campus at the University but I expect she will be here a lot." Maddie laughed, "Great another lovey dovey couple at the Miracle Ranch." Everyone laughed as they settled and went into the house to set extra place for the Trudeaus and Rusty. Maryanne stayed back and called JT over to her. She sat with Amy and him and quietly asked how he was doing and that her family was there for him if he needed anything. JT was quiet and finally spoke, "Thank you, I love all of you guys." Maryanne hugged him tightly remembering when her kids were going through tough times. Amy looked over to them sobbing as Maryanne called her over to their hug. Ty and Lyndy looked out the window and put their arms around each other, as the watch the scene unfold. Ty whispered to her, "He sure is a lucky little boy." She smiled leaning into him and said, "Daddy we are all lucky."

With Maryanne and Haley at the house the weekend was going to be a lot of fun. Maryanne and Amy were inseparable and spent a lot of time together. Ty was happy she came as he felt Amy needed a little distraction. Of course Jack had a dinner for the visitors on Saturday night, even inviting their security team who were staying at the Dude Ranch. They kept the dinner rather small but of course had to invite Rusty too. After the early BBQ, Rusty, Haley, Wyatt and Lyndy joined Katie and Clay to go see a movie and hang out. Haley was impressed with Wyatt's truck and laughed, "Seems kind of clean for a ranch truck?" Rusty scoffed, "He likes to wipe it down, like 10 times a day. Boy, you need some dents in it to break it in like a real truck." With alarm Wyatt protested, "Can I at least keep it clean for a while longer?" Clay laughed, "You are definitely still a city boy, we need to cowboy you up for sure." Lyndy had kept her arm around him and finally spoke up quietly, "I love cowboys." Katie and Haley smiled and said together, "So do we." Maryanne and Amy sat with JT during the BBQ at Heartland and soon Jack joined them. He spoke up, "So Maryanne how is everyone doing back home. I see Justin has been busy, he is all over the news." Sensing an adult conversation was starting, JT jumped off Maryanne's lap and ran over to Maddie, who was talking with Lou and Scott. She answered, now that he stepped away. "Well between us, he has really been getting a lot of pressure lately from the legislature and the opposing party. Seems some of the initiatives he has implemented don't sit well with some and he has been working diligently to sway them in his favor. He has been working a lot and has been frustrated." She looked down and continued, "Justin is such a passionate man and really is committed to make Canada better, I just wish I could help him." Jack scooted over and took her hands, "Well I know one thing about your husband. He loves his family and that, I am confident will always be his foundation." He laughed, "Amy will tell you that when things get hectic here a good trail ride cures all. Sounds like he needs some cowboy therapy." She smiled looking up at him, "You know you are right. Amy I need your and JT's help. The kids are fine since his parents are staying with us. Let's give him a call and invite him here for a few days. Actually, let's have JT ask him, he can't refuse his little buddy." After a short call Justin committed to be there the next morning. He had to head to Vancouver for a meeting so he decided he would leave a few days early and get some of Jack's cowboy therapy.

When Justin showed up the next morning the family immediately went on a ride. Maryanne was next to Amy smiling and leaned over as he was between Jack and Ty. "Look at him, this was such a great idea. He hasn't smiled like that for a while." Amy smiled, "Yea nothing like a ride into the Albertan foothills, I am so lucky to have this and those two men with your husband. Maryanne, we are alike in many ways. We love our husbands completely as well as our kids. In the big picture that is really all that matters." They smiled holding hands as they rode. Haley, who was with Lyndy and their men whispered over to her, "My mom love's you mom like a sister. They are something else." Lyndy smiled, "Well I already have three but I consider you my sister as well." The younger girls smiled at each other and continued the ride. The rest of the ride and day went well. It was evident to Jack and Amy that Justin needed this so they made sure he got all the attention needed. Jenn set them up at Fairfield as they also got some time alone. As Monday morning came everyone went on to their days. The kids headed off to school for their last week of the semester. Since the holidays came on a Tuesday, they had two complete weeks off. The Trudeaus, including Rusty, went on to the U of C to set everything up for Haley to start there in January. Justin tried to keep things on the down low but word got out and the media was there in force. Extra security came as well and did a good job of letting them have some privacy. Justin's press secretary came as well and set up a very brief press conference letting them know why he was there and pleading for their privacy. Amy and Ty had a crazy week since they were going to reduce the workload over the holiday. Amy, Georgie and the rest of the training staff continued to see an uptick in business in a time when things usually slowed a bit. In conjunction with the spike in their business, Ty and the vet team were also very busy with new horse exams and an onslaught of surgeries as well. It was good for business but really challenged both teams to stay on top of things. As they had always seen, the clients load drove the business along with the fact that per their dream, every horse was treated like they were the only one they were working with. Amy learned that skill from her mom and Ty was fully committed as well. They were confident that it what differentiated them from other operations and never planned to sway from their approach to helping horses.

For the kids it was a good week, but a little stressful. The four girls had exams through Thursday and Friday would be a day of class parties and assemblies. JT basically was partying all week and was looking forward to the end of the week. He really needed the two weeks off as is condition, although under control still occupied his mind. Justine had to fly out Wednesday as Maryanne would go home on Saturday. Haley had convinced her parents to spend a little more time and was going to stay through Christmas and fly back the day after. Although a little apprehensive, his mom and dad were going to let her stay without security as long as she minded Jack, Lisa, Amy and Ty. He night before the last day of school the Borden's and guest had a great dinner. As they kids headed out to take care of their horses, Ty, Amy and Maryanne had some time to talk. She had to ask, "So it seems JT is doing well, but how is he?" Amy smiled meekly, "He is Ok, he is just so aware of what is going on. He understands better than most kids his age and at times I think it affects him." She smiled as Amy and Ty sat next to each other for support. "Well we have had several conversations and before Justin left I noticed the two of them speaking a few times. You know Justin's family has fought depression so he is aware of how a lot of illnesses can cause some effects like what he is having. Justin told me he listened to him attentively and was able to let him know the way he felt when it happened." She stopped to catch her breath and looked down. "He is so much like our Brad when he was his age. With the higher level of understanding at a young age comes a burden that little guys shouldn't have to deal with. But I will tell you this, He couldn't stop talking about Wyatt and his sisters and how cool they have been. And I have to say this, he loves Jack a lot but he loves you two even more." She chuckled, "Justin said he gets mad when the others give you two trouble about kissing and hugging so much. He told him it makes him feel warm inside when you do it and makes him love you guys even more." Amy smiled as her eyes misted and spoke, "Well he is our little man and is so special. Ty and I love our kids but watching him handle this has made us love him and them even more. Jack has always said that family is the best cure for anything and he is a testament to that for sure." She chuckled, "You know he told me the same thing." As they finished a fired-up group of kids, plus Haley and Rusty came in the house as JT blurted out. "Mom and Dad we decided that we all deserve some popcorn!" Ty laughed and grabbed Wyatt and Rusty. "Well then let the three of us get you all some right away." They sat around the fire and enjoyed some of Ty's world-famous cheesy popcorn. As they laughed and joke, Amy, who was in Ty's arms looked to Maryanne as they smiled at each other warmly realizing this is what they lived for.

Maryanne was using the guest room and Haley was still with Lyndy. After Ty shooshed Rusty away and said good night to a tired Maryanne, they made their rounds. They talked with each of the kids about the last day of school tomorrow and told them each they needed their sleep. As they went to their room, Ty made sure the door was locked and as soon as he did that her turned into his wife, who opened her arms engulfing him tightly. He smirked, "Woah there horsey girl." She kissed him passionately and whispered, "I am going to get ready for bed and in no way am I tired Dr. Borden." He smiled broadly and returned her kiss with anticipation. He got ready and sat in the bed in his normal boxers. Amy knew he never really liked to be overdressed for bed, which she secretly really liked. Ty kept glancing at Amy as she got ready, cleaning her face and brushing that beautiful hair of hers. She turned off her light and headed to the bathroom, closing the door. She looked back and gave him the smile that he loved. As the door opened the light was already out so he just saw her silhouette. As she approached he noticed she had a silk robe on and just some very sexy panties. As she got even closer he noticed the robe was open, exposing her flat stomach and most but not all of her beautiful breast, just enough to entice him. He began to speak and she put her finger to her lips, crawling up to him ins bed. The sight of her approaching overwhelmed him as he already felt himself hardening. She noticed to and whispered, "Hmm seems you like what you see," She grabbed the waist band of his boxers and gently rolled them done pulling them off. Her robe fell off her shoulders and he returned the favor dispensing other the lacey and sexy panties. No words were spoken as she came to him latching onto his lips and molding her body into his. She always marveled how they fit together perfectly and tonight was no exception. She moved from his lips down his body making sure nothing was left untouched. As she moved to his manhood he moaned huskily and whispered her name. It only made her want him more and she took that advantage kissing and nibbling. As she moved up and down his moans increased and his hips jerked. She was in control for now but couldn't wait for him to return the passion. As usual she knew when to relinquish control and he made his move. He was highly aroused as she could tell by his hardness. He kissed her deeply and moved to her breast, kissing and sucking them each. He really got excited watching her pleasure the breast he wasn't focusing on. He made his move to her soaking wet lips and began to use his tongue to stimulate her. Her moans became louder as she put her hands over her mouth breathless. He was relentless in his attack and made her release completely several times. When they both were ready she grabbed his hips and pulled him into her in one fluid motion. He pushed deep inside of her causing her back to arch and her eyes to glisten. They were at the place that meant so much to each of them as his thrust met hers. They continued on for a good amount of time as their love continued to build. They were ready and in unison Ty released with a burst of energy as she melted in her orgasm. The movement continued well past their mutual climax and as they separated their breaths were rapid as sweat gleamed on their bodies. The laid facing each other as their eyes looked deeply at each other. Ty whispered, "You are my everything, I love you more every minute of every day. She smiled the smile only meant for him. "Ty, thank you. The other day I was talking to Maryanne and looked over at you with Wyatt and JT. I realized just how much you mean to me, too all of us. You are my everything too and always there for me. I will love you longer than forever." He smiled and kissed her, remembering they had a big breakfast planned tomorrow for the kids last day of school and Maryanne's departure back home. The kiss intensified and Amy whispered, "I guess we should get some rest but I am not tired, you up for round two old man." He answered by pulling her close and moving their kiss forward as round two began.

Although a little tired, as promised, Amy and Ty had a large breakfast ready for the family and visitors. Maryanne had beat the kids down and helped with setting the table up for the feast. As the kids wandered down their eyes grew big as they saw the large layout of delicious smelling food. Everyone filled their plates and sat talking about their last day. Maddie spoke up, "Mrs. Trudeau, we are going to miss you but I guess the kids will be excited to get you back for Christmas." Maryanne smiled, "Well I sure do miss them but Haley will be staying a while longer." Addie laughed, "Well don't worry ma'am, we will keep an eye on Rusty for you. You know those boys can't be trusted." Everyone laughed as Haley blushed, sticking her tongue out at her. JT frowned, "Addie, Rusty is cool, don't make fun of him." Wyatt smiled and talked to his little buddy. "JT, they aren't making fun of him, they are just being girls, you know crazy." Both Lyndy and Haley smacked his arm in disgust. Amy and Maryanne smiled holding hands under the table and smiling at Ty. They loved their kids. Right after breakfast, after the kids headed out to school, the SUV pulled up and the security team got Maryanne's bags that were on the porch. Amy, Ty and Haley said their farewells. Maryanne held her daughter a little longer. "Now you behave honey, you know what I mean." She blushed and hugged her again. Ty gave her a hug as Amy walked her to the SUV she whispered, "Make sure you tell everyone to have a great holiday, we will keep an eye on Haley. And Maryanne you keep an eye on that husband of yours too." She giggled, "Well by the look on both of your faces this morning I think you are definitely keeping an eye on your man." They hugged again as she headed to the airport and home. Amy and Ty headed over to the office as they were busy finishing up the week and meeting with their teams to talk over the holiday schedules. It was an active day for sure but after their night of love they made sure they caught up with each other as often as possible. Georgie smiled as her and Katie walked up to her. Katie spoke, "This is probably a dumb question but you two are a little more you than usual, what's up now?" She blushed a little, "What, there is nothing more than usual going on, we just like to see each other during the day, I mean we are married." Georgie looked at her in amazement, "Amy I love Steven and Katie loves Clay and every time we see them our hearts flutter a little. But you two, it's different and we are a little jealous, I mean he is getting kind of old and has that big birthday next summer." Georgie laughed, "May be time to trade in for a new model." Amy looked clearly at both of them, "First off that is weird. And to be honest I can't stand being apart from him. When we are together it's like it is our first time and trust me time had only made things better. When we see each other and are together not only do our hearts flutter but our souls do as well. In life we are lucky to have love and with Ty it goes beyond that for me." She stopped as Georgie and Katie sat silently deciding on how to respond. They sat in silence until they noticed a cab pulling up at the ranch. As the passenger got out all three of them looked with wide eyes and opened mouths. Finally Amy was able to scream first, "Mallory!"

The fiery blonde had only been back a few times over the years and recently had kind of gone off the radar. Georgie was the one she stayed in touch with regularly and she hadn't heard from her in several years. They three of them ran to greet her screaming and giggling. They were surprised as a little blonde-haired boy came out after her. They didn't even know she had been pregnant. He looked to be 4 or so and had blonde curly hair and blues eyes. He clung to his mom as the three crazy women headed over to her. Amy arrived first and went to hug her tightly as tears flowed. Georgie was next as the rarely quiet Mallory greeted them all. She smiled, "Surprise!" Georgie caught her breath, "Mallory what are you doing here, and who is this? The little boy smiled realizing these people were his mom's friends. He laughed, "My name is Trent, Trent Jackson Wells." They laughed and all hugged him. As Georgie hugged him Amy mouthed, "Where is Jake?" Mallory's eyes told her something was wrong so she whispered, "Later" The noise had gotten the attention of Ty, Steven and Caleb who headed out to the group. Mallory laughed as they approached, "Look, it's the three hottest men in Hudson." She greeted them with hugs for all of them and held the one with Ty a little longer than the others. The Miracle ranch group was still overwhelmed until Ty said, "Come on lets go to the house and get you two settled. We have a guest room for you and don't even try to say no." Again a unusually quiet Mallory shook her head yes and whole time she held her son's hand, putting her arm around Amy and followed Ty into the house. The rest of the group got back to work as they realized that she needed some time with the Bordens alone. Amy and Mallory sat on the couch with Trent between them. Ty put their stuff in the guest room and came out to a quiet group. Amy looked at Ty and he knew what she wanted him to do. He smiled "Hey Trent, you want to see the horses?" His eyes bulged out, "You have horses, cool." He jumped up, grabbed Ty's hand and went with him to the barn. As soon as the door closed, Mallory broke down sobbing uncontrollably. After a few minutes Amy spoke quietly to her, "Mallory talk to me." She continued to sob but was only able to whisper out of breath, "Amy can you get Jack and Lou to come over, I have something to tell all of you." She smiled hugging her tightly, "Of course, let me call Ty and tell him to have Lyndy take care of your son when they get home shortly. And how about you, Ty and me go over to Heartland. I will let them know we are coming. "She smiled meekly, "Can Georgie come too." Amy smiled as Mallory broke down again barely able to hold herself up.
