Inkwell Hell
Age: 19
Likes: Aeroplanes
Dislikes: Professor Honeybottoms, Sally Stageplay and theatre
"Get your dumbass out of sleep", I woke up to those exact words, chanted by Scumface Stageplay herself, "You were spooning me all night, pas bon du tout!" God, I hate it when Sally speaks her "perfect little French". Cala dosed off with her droopy puppy eyes, while Cagney and Blind Specter were planning another project. I was sad to not see my mother and a menorah at my eyes, I could never stand my mother to celebrate Hannukah without me. She probably has a beautiful present waiting for me, right below the menorah.
Last night, I dreamed that I was flying a plane with the Inkwell Aviation Academy, with my hero, Chinook Pilot Saluki. She was the first ever woman to graduate from the Inkwell Aviation Academy, inspiring many women to be pilots or aerospace engineers. I had a really nice conversation with her and learned a ton of what it took to become a pilot. Then, I heard Sally's voice, telling me to wake up. This is when I thought, I still wish Inkwell Aviation Academy accepted me, I just want to be like my hero, Chinook Pilot Saluki.
At around the peak of day, the train took a grand stop to a casino. At first, I was distraught, I had no interest in gambling my money. I already was a broke college student who was not even given a single scholarship. I may be perceived as dumb, but I sure know that gambling is a scam.
"Welcome to Inkwell Hell, the only homosexual and rich friendly place on the Inkwell Isles," as T-Bone spoke on the intercom. Cagney and Blind Specter hopped off the train eagerly. Cala, Sally, and I were skeptical of the place, it was not a place I wanted to mess around in.
Cala grabbed mine and Sally's shoulders and whispered, "Hilda, Sally, I know you two cannot stand each other, but we three need to stick together just so we can have protection in harm's way, understand?" I get where Cala is going with this, but how am I ever going to get along with Sally Shirley Stageplay, I am the bane of her existence. Sally murmured, "I guess so". "Hilda, are we going to stick together?", Cala directed at me. "Yes, ma'am", I angerly replied to her question. "Okay, let's act casual as we walk into this sketchy place," Cala trembled.
Ahh, that Casino, it smelled like whiskey, cocaine, and wine mixed all together, reminding me of the day when my father would come home late from battle. There were a ton of people, angerly gambling, cussing each other out. There were some skimpy women in tight dresses, dancing for the men.
Within a few rooms, I was able to spot both Professor Honeybottoms and her wife, Ms. Von Bon Bon, making out. "I think they are having intercourse," Sally whispered to me and Cala. I wanted to part ways with my group, but Cala grabbed my arm every time I took a small step away from them. I noticed Cala was staring directly at Bon Bon and blushing at her. Why Cala, why?
When Ms. Honeybottoms noticed us standing six feet away from her and Bon Bon, she announced to us "You guys shouldn't even be here, you snuck out of class yesterday and left your important assignment unattended, you know I just administered finals for the Christmas performance a few hours ago, and you were not there? Sally, your partner Marilyn had to play your role last minute, and the poor girl was stressed." I looked towards Sally, her dress was drenched in sweat, followed by the blood of mensuration. "Tomorrow, you three are immediately coming to my office and we are going to reflect on your unacceptable behaviours," Bon Bon warned us.
As we veered away from Bon Bon and Honeybottoms, we were approached by a tall, charming man in a purple suit. His head was shaped cube-like and he had this almost-mischievous grin on his face, I was slightly skeptical of the man. He introduced himself, confidentially, "Welcome to King Dice's Casino, hosted by yours' truly". I noticed a stale reaction on Sally's face, I wondered if she was also skeptical of the man. "Run", Cala Maria whispered to us. "Don't you three knockouts want to win some money?" Dice intervened. "Fuck no, you creepy dapper!" Sally chimed back. Cala Maria looked helpless as King Dice then took her by the arm. Her eyes began to water as her arm was turning into a darkish blue colour.
I wondered if I should follow King Dice and save my damsel in distress. What this man is doing may cost me my virginity, or even worse, my innocence. I grabbed Sally by the hand, but she pushed me away while whispering, "I don't want anything taken away from me because of you, nitwit!" I slowly snuck into the room where Cala was taken and saw her tied to a chair as she was gambling against a furry, demonic looking creature. The creature was sitting alongside King Dice, as they were playing against her in a poker match. I squatted down and began to crawl over towards Cala. "Run" she whispered in my ear. Something is off about Cala. As I was untying the rope, I felt a sharp claw poking amongst my back, I screamed in agony. The creature then proceeded to tie me to a chair, right next to Cala. My hands were behind my seat, permitting me from untying Cala's chair. "Well, well, well, looks like two of our leading ladies are going to make a deal with the Devil!" the furry creature introduced himself.
"Cala, are you okay", I heard a yell from the other room. "Looks like we've got another leading lady", the Devil deviously grinned, "Dice, grab her right at this instant!". Cala and I turned our heads towards the door. For once, I had some remorse for Sally, she seemed very helpless. King Dice came back into the room, grabbing Sally by the legs before ultimately dropping her. Cala was biting the ropes to escape while Dice was distracted by Sally shivering in fear. Cala successfully escaped; however, the Devil scowled at her and scratched her arm, leading her to bleed immensely. "Hand me the souls, and hand them now!" The Devil yelled in a threatening manner. Cala was whimpering, she looked like she really needed a hug, however, I was tied to a chair. King Dice was exorcising Sally's soul as the devil was tying Cala back to a chair, while she was immensely bleeding. I've never seen Sally so pale and sickly before, it's like all the life was extracted from her. The Devil poked one of his claws onto Cala's chin, as Cala began to cry. Blood was visible on the ropes and began to stain the chair as Cala's soul depart from her body. Then, King Dice grabbed my chin, "Looks like we're taking our final soul", he mystically grinned. I began to sweat as my soul began to depart my body.
I woke up at a hospital, where Cala and Sally were sitting adjacent from me. However, something wasn't right about Cala, she was green and had snakes for hair. She was tethering the blankets she laid on. Once I escaped my bed, I began to lose my balance to only realize, I was turning into an exotic form. I was able to float and fly, heck, my new form is neat. Sally was still asleep in her bed, but Cala and I planned for the three of us to escape the hospital. We had to find some way to wake up Sally. Cala was stuck in her scary gorgon form as I was the flying Taurus in the sky. Cala roared at Sally, just to wake her up. Sally turned into the other side of the bed. However, she wasn't still asleep, she was shaking. I touched her hair, and she slapped me across the face. Wow, so painful when coming into a hospital escapade. Cala grabbed Sally by the stomach, sliding her off the bed. I grabbed Cala by the stomach, and boy, she was heavy. The three off us flew back to Inkwell Isle three, in which we stayed at the dock.
