Meanwhile, at the Future Foundation

A motorcycle drove through Toad Town, weaving its way around corners until it came to a gentle stop near the Future Foundation. The motorcyclist looked up at the building, noting that it was the tallest building in town and it made Coconut Mall and Peach's Castle look like ordinary homes.

The motorcyclist chuckled, turning off the motorcycle and then took off the helmet, revealing to be none other than Komaru Naegi.

She grabbed the box of doughnuts and wandered into the building.

"Hey hey, I brought doughnuts~!" Komaru smiled, setting them down as she saw Aoi already going for the box.

"What the… where's the maple doughnut with sprinkles?" Aoi wondered.

"Oh… right…" Komaru sheepishly scratched her cheek. "I ate that one."

"Huh?!" Aoi slumped with anime tears. "You're heartless…"

Komaru smiled, pulling out a tiny bag with said doughnut in it. "Just kidding~!"

Aoi's eyes sparkled as Komaru tossed it to her. "Thank you~!" She smiled and happily ate it, savoring every bite.

Komaru turned around, seeing everyone else looking a bit troubled. "Uh… something wrong?"

"Truth be told, we've picked up on several anomalies that happened recently." Kyoko said.

"Oh boy… let me guess, another portal opened up? Who'd we get this time? Master Chief? Kratos? That guy off of Walking Dead? What was his name again… Paygan?"

"Negan." Toko corrected.

"No, I'm pretty sure it's Paygan."

"Actually, no… but something else had come up." Kyoko said, pulling out her laptop. "Recently, there was a time-space rift that happened near Patch. Your brother went off to investigate but he found no trace of it."

"I did see the Schnee's Rathalos and Nora's Astalos there though. Didn't think much of it…" Makoto shrugged.

"Not only that, but there's been spacial rifts popping up all over Remnant." Kyoko added. "Palkia's been busy trying to close them, but there's also been several big ones that we picked up over at Popstar."

"Geez, are Dialga and Palkia having another argument? At this rate, Remnant's gonna be wiped off the galactic map!" Komaru sweatdropped.

"Thankfully no, but it's a bit concerning."

"There have been reports that people have gone missing from these spacial rifts." Byakuya said, leaning on a wall. "The biggest main of concern is Alola's champion, Umber. He went to spend time with King Dedede in Dreamland, then he disappeared."

"Calling it now, Kirby probably ate him by accident." Komaru said before sighing. "I'll get the fishing pole."

"I highly doubt he did such a thing." Kyoko said.

"I'm just glad none of the spacial rifts sucked up Master, otherwise I would've gone to hell and back just to find him~!" Toko drooled thinking about saving him.

In her fantasy world…

"You came for me."

"Oh, master~ I have! I came to save you from that spacial monster~!"

"Heh, you're still making that annoying face…"

"It's the only face I have!"

"I love you, you dirty girl."

"I love you too, let's make a lot of babies~!"

Back in reality…

"Honestly, being sucked up in a space rift would be a vacation from you…" Byakuya said.

"WHA?!" Toko yelped, snapping back in reality.

"Oh good, the astronaut came back to Remnant." Komaru said, hearing a groan from Toko.

"I need to speak with Dialga and Palkia about this later…" Kyoko mumbled to herself.

"So, anything new aside from that?"

"Well…" Makoto began. "We've also been keeping an eye on Towa City, specifically the Warriors of Hope."

"Ugh… why? Those brats were disgusting!" Toko said while Komaru flashbacked to when the five made her life a living hell.

"Even so, we had them imprisoned after the last killing game, just so they wouldn't try anything funny." Byakuya said.

Komaru sighed. "And even then, I was making progress in Towa City. By the time that killing game finished, I succeeded in getting everyone back to normal. Sure, all the kids there are now scarred for life but… it was either that or destroying that controller and blowing everyone's heads off."

"Mmm…" Toko had her arms folded.

"After that, that's when you guys were brought to Remnant, correct?" Sakura asked, as she was eating a doughnut with Aoi.

"That's correct. The Future Foundation's building was dropped somewhere near the Koopa Kingdom, and Aoi and I went to investigate where we were." Kyoko nodded. "It wasn't just us that was brought to this world, Jabberwock Island wound up near Shy Guy Beach."

"Wait… doesn't that place have… Shy Guy Pirates?" Komaru asked.

"According to Sonia, not anymore… not after she aimed a tank directly at their ship and blew it up."

"Yar har har! I'm not sure where this island came from, but we must search that island for booty! Blow it up if you have to!" The Pirate captain declared.

"Yaaaaaaar!" The Pirate Guys cheered.

"...Um… captain?"

"Yes?"

"You're gonna want to take a look at this!"

The captain took the binoculars and looked through them. "Huh, that there looks to be a tank aiming its cannon at us! Yar har har! That tank won't reach us, that's for-" The tank cannon suddenly turned into a rail gun and started charging up. "...Sure…"

"Captain?"

"Men…"

"Yes captain?"

"ABANDON SHIP!"

BOOOOOOOM!

Sonia giggled, watching the ship sink into the ocean as the Shy Guys were then chased off by Sushi. "I love how I decided to upgrade this tank to a Rail Gun tank~!"

Komaru paled. "A Rail Gun… Tank? That princess continues to scare me…"

"After the Blorb Crisis, the Future Foundation was dropped here in Toad Town by the Youkai Sage known as Yukari Yakumo." Kyoko informed.

"Yeah, right at the same time when we told Class 77 they were free to leave Jabberwock Island." Makoto said before sweatdropping. "Of course… some of them had their fun before we let them leave..." He chuckled.

Kyoko chuckled. "They were helping people out. I didn't see anything wrong with it."

"So… why bring up the Warriors of Hope?" Komaru asked.

"Because… we were doing some thinking." Yasuhiro said. "Imprisoning them for what they did for their crimes seemed like a good idea…"

"But… considering they're at Towa City and we're not in our world anymore…" Makoto said. "We thought it wasn't fair to leave them there."

"Indeed." Kyoko nodded.

"Mmm… I still think this is a bad idea after what they put me and Koko through…" Toko mumbled.

Komaru folded her arms, closing her eyes, deep in thought before she reopened her eyes. "They deserve to be free."

"Huh?!" Toko looked at her in surprise.

"I'm sure they've learned their lesson by now." Komaru said. "They deserve their freedom."

Kyoko smiled. "Yes, I agree."

"W-W-W-Wait a second! Are you sure this is a good idea?! We're talking about Monaca here!" Toko said.

"Mmm, Monaca's debatable but everyone else was wrapped up in her little scheme. They deserve a second chance, Toki."

"Mmmm… fine, but I'm not gonna like it…" Toko grumbled.

"Oh, and we also invited those two to come with us." Makoto spoke up as they turned to see Junko and Mukuro approaching them.

"Sup?" Junko waved.

"Hey." Mukuro greeted.

"...Uh…" Komaru stared at Junko, tilting her head.

"Hmm? Oh! You probably don't recognize me because I dyed my hair but it's still me!"

"...Are you Pyrrha Nikos that I've heard so much about?"

"Wh-what? No! I'm Junko, I'm just in my Ryoko persona!"

"Oooog, Junko! …Wait, Junko?" Komaru looked at her red hair. "...Are you going through a mid life crisis?"

"What?! No, I'm not!" Junko said, while Mukuro was trying her hardest not to laugh.

"No, she just decided to become a red head for the sheer hell of it." Mukuro teasingly said, hearing a groan from Junko, which was enough for her to snicker.

"Ah! I knew it!" Komaru pounded her fist in her palm.

Junko sighed. "Great, you go back into your Ryoko persona and some people think you're going through a crisis…" She mumbled.

"I mean, I can see it… if twenty something year olds count as being mid-life…" Makoto said.

"No, she's just having a Revival Life crisis." Aoi teased.

"Alright, that's enough!" Junko pouted, hearing everyone but Byakuya snicker at this. The latter rolled his eyes.

"Anyway, so… how are we going to get to Towa City?" Komaru asked.

Kyoko smirked. "Leave it all to me." She said as she walked outside with the others and then pulled out a megaphone.

"Oh no! There's a big spacial rift that's happening at this very spot! We're about to be sucked into it!"

Immediately, they heard Palkia's cry as he landed near them and was about to close the portal, only to realize no such rift. He blinked, looked around and looked down at the group as he sweatdropped, realizing he's been duped. He let out a cry of dismay.

"Forgive me, Palkia. I was actually hoping you could help us with something." Kyoko said as Palkia looked at her in curiosity. "You see, we're actually going to take a trip to our world just for a quick business trip. I was hoping you could help us get there."

Palkia nodded, unleashing Spacial Rend as he opened up a space portal and let out a cry. "Thank you." Kyoko nodded as everyone walked in… but Kyoko stopped herself.

Palkia let out a confused cry, wondering why Kyoko didn't go in.

"Before I go in… I need to ask you a few questions about these spacial rifts. And while I'm at it… I'd like you to bring Dialga. I wish to speak with him as well."

Meanwhile, with the others…

BGM: Absolute Despair Girl (Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls)

"Ugh…" Toko groaned as she looked around Towa City. "Back at this dump…"

"For some strange reason, I'm feeling nostalgic." Komaru said.

"Oh yes, because murderous Monokumas definitely makes you feel nostalgic." Toko rolled her eyes. "Only virgins feel nostalgic…"

"Aren't you a virgin too?" Komaru shot back.

"N-No! Of course not! Don't be ridicu-"

"Yes." Byakuya said, causing Toko to slump.

"I thought so~" Komaru smiled and walked off with a spring in her step while Toko grumbled.

"Well… the best part is, no one'll recognize me with my hair." Junko said as they walked ahead.

"Yeah, let's hope you don't say "Hello world, your number one awesome despair girl, Junko is here!" or something like that." Mukuro said.

"Please, I'm not that crazy." Junko chuckled as they walked around the city.

"Should be here somewhere, right?" Sakura asked.

"I'm… assuming so. It's been a while." Aoi admitted as they walked around town. "...Wait, hold on, did we lose Kiri?"

"I'm sure she's fine. She'll catch up to us eventually." Makoto said.

"Yeah, you're right." Aoi nodded as they soon found the prison they were looking for.

"Ah, here we are!" Komaru said as she walked in.

"The fact that she's happy to walk into a prison… that's just sad." Toko said.

"Well, we're all happy about something." Yasuhiro shrugged.

"It's so simple minded, it's adorable…" Toko mumbled as they walked into the prison.

"Excuse us." Makoto spoke up. "We're looking for four kids."

"Mmm, you gotta be more specific than that." The Warden said.

Komaru walked up. "We're looking for Masaru Daimon, Nagisa Shingetsu, Kotoko Utsugi and Jataro Kemuri."

"Oh hey, Komaru, I didn't recognize you." The warden said. "Yeah, I dunno why you want to visit those brats… they caused enough trouble as it was."

"As someone who's dealt with them… I believe they deserve a second chance."

"Well… the Future Foundation did give them parole… they've been quite busy doing community service but ah…"

"Excuse us, but we're Future Foundation." Byakuya said.

"Oh! My apologies. They're down the hall."

"Thank you." Makoto nodded as they walked to the cells, but as they walked through, Mukuro spotted an adult in one of the cells.

"Hmm?" She wondered before she turned the other way, but something about him made her curious.

As they got to the cell, they would see the four of them hanging around. Masaru was on a bed, his arms behind his head and looking at the ceiling, Nagisa was leaning against the wall, Kotoko was on the edge of her bed humming and Jataro was pacing around the room.

"Hmm?" Nagisa turned his head. "Oh, look who it is." He said.

"Huh?" Masaru sat up. "Geez! You guys got a lot of nerve. Ya ghost us after so long? We heard Future Foundation disappeared off of the face of the earth!"

"Yeah, same with some island too. Like… how does an island disappear like that?" Kotoko asked.

"UFOs…" Jataro said, causing Kotoko to sweatdrop.

"Yeah… we're sorry about that. Some stuff happened that was beyond our control." Makoto admitted, scratching his cheek sheepishly.

"Goodness, look at you four… you've grown!" Komaru said as Junko walked up to them.

"Holy shit… it's been so long." Junko said.

"Huh? Who are you?" Jataro asked.

"One second." Mukuro lifted her hair and played with it to get the twin tails in order. "Ta-dah."

The four of them gasped. "Junko?!"

"Hey." Junko waved.

"Hmm…" Komaru looked at Junko and then stared at her chest.

"...What are you-"

"Staaaaaaaaare…"

"Komaru, what are you-"

"Toki, you're right. She has big boobs."

"Told ya!" Toko said, causing Junko to blush a deep red.

"I mean, she's not wrong." Mukuro nodded, observing them. "Goodness, I've never noticed how big they are…"

"Sh-shut up!" Junko stammered.

"W-wait a second! How is she alive?!" Masaru exclaimed. "We heard that you died!"

"Oh, my death has been… greatly exaggerated." Junko smiled.

"Sure, let's go with that…" Aoi sweatdropped.

"So, I've heard you kids got into a lot of trouble. Caused the apocalypse to happen in Towa City, managed to sic the Monokuma bots all over the city and killed a lot of adults to create an adult free paradise." Junko shook her head. "Normally, if I was still high on despair, I'd be congratulating you kids but… I'm not." She sighed. "If only I was a better role model…"

"Yeah… if only!" Masaru rolled his eyes. "Because of you, we were hyped on making the world a better place after what our parents did to us! We were abused and we made a suicide pact, only to come to find out from Kotoko that Monaca tricked us and didn't even care about us! We only did her bidding because of our predicament! You came along and saved us, only we became monsters because of you!"

"...It's not like we didn't have this coming." Nagisa said, causing the three to look at him.

"What are you talking about?"

BGM: This Is The Path We Follow (Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls)

Tears swelled up in Nagisa's eyes. "We slaughtered countless innocent adults who had nothing to do with at all directly with our problems… and following some heartless psychopath who was willing to destroy the entire world just for her own sick amusement! How exactly was this all justified, Masaru?!"

"Ah… well…" Masaru scratched his cheek. "Um… well, there were some adults who rallied against-... wait… no, that was when after we put them into a corner… ah damn…"

"Exactly. I get that we hated adults because we've all had a few bad eggs who ruined and robbed us of our childhoods, but that didn't mean we have to think that literally every adult in existence are horrible and kill off every single one of them for that reason alone!"

Junko stiffened, rubbing her upper right arm in guilt.

Kotoko sighed. "He's right… even if we did attempt to make an adult-free paradise… it makes us no better than the "demons" we killed."

"Not to mention… all of us are now thirteen. We're teenagers at this point… so there's no point for us anymore trying to escape the inevitable fate that we're all going to grow up sooner or later." He sighed sadly. "I don't know if any of you have accepted that fate, but I already had at one point, even way before the Future Foundation found us and… locked us up here for surveillance."

Junko sighed. "I really should've been a better role model…"

"I don't know why you're here… but we honestly don't deserve a second chance." Nagisa siad. "Sure, the Future Foundation put us up for strict parole so we can do community service, but other than that… we deserve to rot in here…"

"That's where I disagree." Komaru said as she walked over. "Look, I know you guys put me through hell and I've been thoroughly traumatized to the moon and back, but… if we can give these two a second chance, then I don't see why we can't do the same with you." She had pointed to Mukuro and Junko.

"Yeah, and besides…" Junko spoke up. "That old me, being drunk on despair? That's the old me. We're not on good speaking terms anymore. Never returned her calls, ghosting her and whatever." She chuckled. "Mukuro and I? We're no longer the Despair Sisters. We're the Hope Sisters now."

"...So why the red hair?" Kotoko wondered.

"I decided to go back to my original self after blocking my old self out. I go by Ryoko now, but I do answer to Junko." She winked. "And I promise you, I'll be a better role model than I was earlier."

"I hear… remorse in her voice." Jataro said. "I believe her. She sounds genuine."

"I can definitely hear the generosity in her voice." Kotoko nodded.

"Speaking of which, where's Monaca anyway?" Junko asked.

"Oh, well…" Nagisa wiped his face. "The last I've heard she launched herself up to space, where she believes it's the only place untouched by despair. Someone insisted we'd launch a rocket aimed at her, but we don't think it's worth it. Well… most of us, anyway."

He, Masaru and Jataro all looked at Kotoko.

"Come ooooon, nuking the hell out of her on the moon? It'd be a pretty sight!" Kotoko said.

"Still not worth it…" Nagisa mumbled.

"Hmph! Party poopers…" Kotoko folded her arms, puffing her right cheek a little.

"Well, that seems fair. Maybe things would've gone better if… well, ya know." Junko nodded.

End BGM

"So who's freckles over there?" Masaru asked.

"That's my twin sister."

"You have a sister?" Jataro asked.

"I was never informed of this." Nagisa said.

"And I was never told about the Warriors of Hope." Mukuro added.

"Yeah… there were some things I kept you out of the loop of." Junko sheepishly admitted.

Both Mukuro and the Warriors of Hope sweatdropped. "Lovely…" Mukuro mumbled.

"I can see the resemblance, except for the freckles, the short black hair, and small boobs. Especially the small boobs!" Kotoko said.

"Eh. Would've gotten in the way." She shrugged. "Anyway, who's the guy in the cell? The one with scraggly hair and has a cast over his arm?"

"Oh, that guy? His name's Haiji. He's pretty much… not with it anymore." Masaru said.

"I say good riddance. Dude likes 'em young… way young." Kotoko mumbled.

"...I'll be right back." Mukuro walked off.

"There's not much left of him anyway. I made sure to cut it off when he least expected it." Toko said.

"Hmph, for once you're useful." Byakuya said.

"Really?!" Toko's eyes sparkled.

"Three. Two. One." Komaru counted.

"That's the only time you're useful. You and your alter ego. You're still useless." Byakuya said.

"Gah!" Toko yelped.

"There it is." Komaru patted Toko on the back.

"So… now what?" Kotoko asked.

They heard footsteps approaching. "I have a good idea of what we should do with you." A voice said as they turned to see Kyoko approaching. "We all talked it out and we decided the best course of action is… rehabilitation via foster care and mandatory therapy."

The four of them widened their eyes in surprise.

"Sheesh… Byleth has her hands full. What, with keeping up with Ruby, the psychic twins, Marnie, Seryu-"

"Actually, I thought Bereto would help out." Kyoko interrupted Aoi. "Lighten the load on Byleth."

"Oh! Yeah, he could use the experience." Aoi nodded.

"Of course, the therapy will have to wait for a while. I just heard from Dialga and Palkia that they sent Ruby's family, the Belladonna's, Schnee's, Ozpin, Mavis, two members of CFVY, Gloria, Victor, Marnie, the champions of Sinnoh and Hoenn, and N to the ancient land of Hisui. Turns out a man by the name of Ghetsis is trying to sever the bonds between humans and Pokemon and they went back in time to put a stop to him."

"Severing the bond between humans and Pokemon?!" Komaru said in horror. "No… the amount of effort I put into making a solid team in Ultra Moon… NOOOOOOOOO! I SPENT HOURS TRYING TO CATCH A BELDUM!" She cried.

"I think she means real life, not the games." Toko said.

"...Oh. Well, that guy's still an asshole!"

Why are they talking Pokemon? Masaru, Kotoko and Jataro wondered.

What's a Pokemon? Nagisa wondered.

"And I've also learned that JINXY, Mewtwo, the Phantom Thieves, the Badland Mercenaries, the Thunder Legion, Chiaki, Hajime, Sonia, Gundham and Kirby have been sucked up into a rift portal in Popstar. They're currently in a whole new dimension with no luck finding a way back. Palkia's been keeping an eye on them, and mentioned he'll bring them back once they take care of a problem."

"What problem are they facing?" Makoto asked.

"Turns out, Umber went there to hang out with King Dedede, but he and Dedede disappeared without a trace. They went to investigate, but they were sucked into the void. Apparently, some residents in Gensokyo have gone missing too. Penny, SAPR and the Star Allies are looking for them, but they too, were pulled into the void. And apparently, so have a few children. Team Lau… excuse me, Lakefront."

"Lakefront?" Komaru asked.

"Yes. L-A-F-F."

"...That's not how you spell Lakefront! That's clearly Team Laugh!" Komaru said.

"I agree. There's no way you're not going to look at LAFF and think "Lakefront", you're gonna think "Laugh"." Byakuya said.

"Yeeeeeah, that's unfortunate." Yasuhiro nodded.

Kyoko walked over to the cell and opened it up, giving the four a soft smile as the four of them looked on in shock before they ran out and hugged Kyoko happily. She let out a chuckle, ruffling their hair. "I'm not the one who you should be hugging." She said as they turned to Komaru as they quickly latched on to her.

"Wah!" She yelped, nearly losing her balance before smiling.

"Ugh… disgusting…" Toko grumbled.

Meanwhile, with Mukuro…

Mukuro stared at Haiji, glaring at him. "Hey." She said to him, but he said nothing. Instead he moved his head to look at her in acknowledgement. "...I guess you lost the will to live." She said as she pulled out her dagger, making sure she had a glove on, and tossed it into his cell.

"Here, I was going to gut you like a fish, but it's not worth it. Do it yourself." She turned around and walked off to rejoin the group.

"Hey sis!" Junko waved. "We're ready to head back home now."

"Excellent. Let's go." Mukuro nodded as they walked off, but then they passed Haiji's cell as Komaru looked in.

"Hmph. Couldn't have happened to a better person." She said as Toko looked in.

"I-is that… b-b-b-blo-ooooooh…." Toko fainted on the spot.

"I'm not picking her up." Byakuya walked around her.

"'C'mere." Komaru picked up Toko and wrapped her arms around her shoulders and walked off.

"Did you do it?" Junko asked.

"Nah, I let him do it. Didn't think he would have done it so quickly though." Mukuro said as the Warriors of Hope looked at him, where Kotoko pulled her eye socket down while sticking her tongue out, then they headed back to the portal.

"So… where are we going to put them?" Makoto asked as they walked back to the portal.

"Oh, I have a few ideas." Kyoko smiled.

Later, back in the Mushroom Kingdom…

BGM: Toad Town (Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story plus Bowser Jr's Journey)

Nesta walked into the Future Foundation with Merlin on her shoulder. She noticed that Mine, Pietro and Sojiro were there as well. "Hmmm?"

"Good, you're all here." Kyoko said. "...Wait a moment, Mine? Where are-"

"My parents are hard at work in Vacuo, so I'm representing them." Mine said.

Kyoko chuckled. "Fair enough." She nodded. "I called you four here because we figured you were the right people."

"What for, exactly?" Sojiro wondered.

"You guys wouldn't mind adopting, would you?"

"Adopting?" Pietro asked in surprise. "What's all this for?"

"Considering these four had a troubled home, we figured they would have a better life." Kyoko explained as the Warriors of Hope stepped up.

"Aw, they look so cute!" Nesta smiled.

"Hey, nice choice of hair color." Mine said in approval to Kotoko.

Pietro smiled. "I can tell these kids have been through the thick of it."

"Indeed. Heh… well, ain't this somethin'." Sojiro said. "So… do we pick or have you already assigned them to us?"

"As a matter of fact, I have." Kyoko nodded. "Masaru, from now on, your family will be the Winchesters."

"Uh… who?" Masaru wondered as he saw Nesta waving. "Oh." Shoot, she's kinda pretty.

"Kotoko, you will be with the Strauss family."

"Wait, I get a little sister? AWESOME!" Mine fist pumped. "Nice! That's what I'm talking about it!"

"Kyaaaaah!" Kotoko gushed. "Oh, this is so cool!" She immediately glomped Mine. "My oldest sister is so cute!"

"You're pretty cute yourself!" Mine smiled.

"Nagisa, you're going to be with the Polendinas."

Nagisa said nothing as he walked up to Pietro. "I… suppose this is acceptable." He said, forming a small smile.

Pietro smiled. "My daughters are going to love you."

"And Jataro… you're with the Sakura family."

Jataro shyly walked over to Sojiro, poking his fingers together as Sojiro chuckled. "I think we're going to get along well, kiddo." He said, patting him on the head.

"Thanks…"

"By the way, what's with the face mask?"

"Oh, um… I've been told by my past mother that I… look ugly. That I… make people's eyes bleed out in terror."

"Nonsense. Mind if I take a look at your face?" He asked.

"If you want to…" Jataro mumbled as Sojiro gently took it off.

"...Holy crap!" Mine exclaimed. "That's the prettiest boy I've ever seen!"

"Goodness!" Nesta said in awe.

Jataro shyly put his mask back on with Sojiro chuckled. "I won't force ya." He said. "Come on, as soon as Futaba comes back from her adventure, she'll be ecstatic."

They all walked off, while Nesta and Masaru stayed behind. Merlin hopped off of her shoulder and latched onto Masaru, gently nibbling on his ear. "Gyah! What the-"

Nesta smiled. "That's Merlin's way of showing affection. He likes you."

"O-oh… well… it kinda tickles…" Masaru chuckled.

Nesta smiled. "I'm sure Cardin and Laura will love you…" She said, her voice cracking when she mentioned Laura, something that Kyoko immediately picked up on.

End BGM

"Hmm? Is something wrong?" Masaru asked.

"N-no… it's nothing…"

"Hey Masaru. Why don't you run along outside for a bit?" Kyoko suggested.

"Okay. Come on, Merlin!" Masaru walked out with Merlin happily accompanying him.

"Everything okay?" Kyoko asked.

"I've… been trying to hold it together…" She admitted.

"I've noticed that your voice cracked when you mentioned Laura. I don't mean to pry, but it got me curious."

Nesta sighed. "The truth is… she disappeared off the face of Remnant. Cardin's been looking for his sister and he even has his whole team looking for her. She and her friends are gone…" She teared up. "And I tried texting her but I got this weird error message… and I tried texting Willow and Kali if they just wandered off to Toad Town and forgot to tell me…" She showed her the error messages.

"Corrupted Interdimensional Error: Failed to send to recipient due to unknown recipient."

"Fatal Error: Cannot Reach Recipient(s) due to differing time periods."

"I don't know what's going on… I've just been a wreck this whole time. My baby girl's gone… my friends have disappeared… I don't know what these mean but it's… it's horrifying…"

Kyoko sweetly smiled. "You have nothing to fear, Mrs. Winchester. I've talked with Dialga and Palkia. Kali and Willow are safe and sound. They simply went back in time to take care of a problem concerning someone wanting to destroy the bond between people and Pokemon. As for your daughter, she's safe and sound in another dimension and I can assure you, she and her friends are being looked after by some fellow Ultimates and their friends. There was an interdimensional rift that opened up in your backyard. Palkia has assured me he will bring everyone home safe."

Nesta's eyes widened before she put her hands over her mouth, tears swelling in her eyes as her legs gave in and fell over, silently sobbing as Kyoko knelt down and put her hand on her shoulder.

"Thank you… so much…! I'm glad that… my baby is safe!" She sobbed, pulling out her scroll and texting Albedo, the Foxtrot Twins' and Logue's parents.

"I was just informed that our babies were found and they are safe. They'll return home soon!"

"Oh thank Oum!"

"That's a relief!"

"Oh, Bols is going to be ecstatic to hear this news! He's been worried sick about our daughter, but he's trying to calm Esdeath down."

Nesta wiped her tears and gave Kyoko a grateful hug before getting up, a reassured smile on her face. "I needed to hear that." She said and then walked off.

"You're welcome." Kyoko smiled.

Nesta walked out, seeing Masaru playing with Merlin. "Hey Masaru. Let's head home." Nesta smiled.

"Okay!"

Meanwhile, with CRDL…

"Gods dammit! There's no way five little kids could have disappeared off the face of Remnant just like that!" Cardin said in dismay.

"Hey hey, easy boss. We're still looking for her!" Russel said.

"Deep breaths, big guy." Dove said as Cardin sighed.

"Laura, where are you…" He wondered as his scroll went off, seeing that his mother texted him.

"Good news! Laura is safe and sound. She and her friends wound up in a rift portal that opened up in our backyard, but they have friends watching over them. They will be back soon."

"Oh thank the gods!" Cardin breathed a sigh of relief.

"That's more like it." Sky grinned.

"Phew… as long as she's safe, that's fine with me." Cardin said as he walked off, trying his best not to cry in front of his teammates.

*staring at the Game Award nominees* ...Seriously? Only in the Family Game category? Kirby got robbed... he should've been in Action/Adventure category. Or hell, Game of the Year, Best Art Direction... something! Seriously, Splatoon 3's in a few categories, what the hell is this BS? Agh... whatever, my personal GOTY is Forgotten Land anyway.

Ibuki: Is Ibuki surprised Elden Ring is nominated for GOTY? Nope. Is she surprised Sonic Frontiers didn't get anything even though it launched the day before God of War Ragnarok? Absolutely!

The stuff I've seen in Frontiers put Sonic back on the map and THIS is how he's treated? I've heard great things about Frontiers, I've seen a boss battle play out and I was absolutely floored by what I witnessed. No, seriously, the combat looks GORGEOUS! This is definitely an apology for what happened in Sonic Forces and this is how you treat Sonic? He got robbed too! Ugh... the only thing I care for is Best Adaptation. Arcane, Sonic 2 and the Cuphead Show are pretty great contenders. But whatever, the Game Awards are dumb.

Anywho, this Gaiden idea was none other than DarkRebellion's!
