Walter stared at the screen that was projecting one of his worst fears. The past he had tried so hard to run from was now looking at him in the face.

With a groan, he turned the screen off and dug his nails into his scalp to keep himself from panicking more. The more Walter thought about it the more stressed he became. He realized though they still did not know his identity. But the program he made, that they were interested in, could very well help them find it out. But if he said no, it only made him more likely to be revealed.

"Oh, Lovey, what can I do?" He whispered softly, still staring at the screen as if it held the answers.

...Location: Agency Lab Floor...

Lance strode down the steps that lead to the active experiment floor. After receiving his mission instructions, he was sent to the lab to pick up the latest mission supplies.

Narrowly, he weaved around a stray shot that left a steel table smouldering wreck. He walked past a lab tech and took a double look. What looked like coffee ran down an I.V line into the tech's arm. From the way he vibrated, Lance was not far off.

Three scientists stood around a sleek black case with a bowtie imprinted on the side. Lance headed towards them, hoping to leave this chaos soon as he could.

The shorter one looked as if he had met the wrong side of a tazer, his hair standing up each way, trembling fingers wrapped around a coffee cup. The other two did not look much better, one seemed to be asleep standing up. The other appeared twice her age, with the stress lines in her face brought out by the dark purple under her eyes.

She took a sip from her own coffee cup the strong smell indicating its concentration. Lance often wondered if the lab tech's blood was tested how much of it was coffee.

"I don't suppose you can tell me why this was so rushed my team had to stay up all night working on it?"

"Nope, it's classified." Lance waved an arm in front of the taller guy, but nothing, not a movement, not even a twitch.

She sighed and nudged the case forward with her foot, "It's pretty much the same as your older ones, all the new features have instructions with them."

Lance shouldered the case via the strap and walked away from them before turning back to say thanks, only to see the taller man collapse to the floor. The lady glanced at him laying there motionless and took another gulp of coffee.

An this is a preview I am working on the rest and it should be up soon, but I felt I made you wait long enough.
