ZAFT: I hope everyone is having a decent winter so far. Been chilly, but kinda nice.

DarkFoxKit: *Remembers those times I had to sweat, and was living in a life sized baking oven because the AC wasn't working* You know what? I love winter, winter's my favorite season.

ZAFT: Same here. I get cold easily, but it's better than being scorched in the heat and humidity. ^^'

Takuya: At least I can stay warm with my fire powers.

ZAFT: Don't send a heat wave Kit's way, fire boy… -_-

Takuya: I wouldn't do that!

DarkFoxKit: Where's Andy? *Looks at a note on the door* 'Went to visit family for the holidays, enjoy. P.S. Send Takuya over please, he's missing all the gingerbread houses we're baking.'

Takuya: Hey! Don't just stand there! Send me over there!

ZAFT: Okay~ Just don't eat yourself sick~ On to the chapter then~

Chapter 10: A Haunted Locker

It was another school day. Sam had an idea, an idea she roped her friends into helping her with, an idea she hoped would get past in school. She remembered the incident with the lunch menu, but this was different. This would benefit both people and the frogs she was saving. Not everyone could dissect frogs and keep their lunch in after all, but if she used an alternative for people to learn how the inside of a frog worked, it would help everyone involved. She was determined to make this work.

So, Sam, Tucker, Danny, and Andy were carrying boxes that had a picture of a frog with a red circle, and a red line going across the frog in a diagonal way. The label 'Save the Frogs!' were written on each box.

"So… tell me again why we're breaking our backs here, Sam?" Danny asked, not that he was having trouble carrying the box, but it was pretty heavy for normal human beings.

"Frogs right, Danny." Sam said. "We have to stop dissecting frogs in our school biology labs! Besides, not everyone can handle seeing a frog's innards, so this is a more humane alternative to the frogs, and it helps people who do not like seeing the real deal."

Tucker raised an eyebrow when he looked at the label on top of the box's lid that read 'I can't believe it's not a frog cadaver'.

Sam smiled as she put the box down, opened it, then took out a robotic looking frog that had actual slime on it.

"Ribbit! Please remove my detachable 3 chambered heart! Ribbit!" The robot said.

"Okay, I was with you on the whole alternative thing until you brought that out," Andy deadpanned.

"Why?" Sam asked.

"It's a robot. When you said you were going to use an alternative, I thought you'd use a fake, but realistic looking frog with realistic looking innards," Andy said.

"Some people can't handle realistic looking fakes either." Sam pointed out. "Sometimes it looks too real to them."

Danny suddenly gasped, that blue mist escaping his mouth, but it went unnoticed by Andy, who was talking with Sam.

"I get that, but people who are in biology class need to know what these things look like. It's not like teachers make kids dissect frogs just to be cruel to frogs," Andy explained. "If they wanted to use a toy, then they would've used a toy for people to detach these things, but it doesn't do a good job at really teaching them what the innards are or how they work."

Sam frowned as she looked at the robot frog in her hands. "I didn't think about that…" She admitted. "I'll find something that'll work as an alternative though, I just need-"

Suddenly Sam's box glowed green and it burst out green mist everywhere. Tucker yelped as one of the robot frogs landed on his head. The green mist soon formed itself into the Box Ghost.

"Oh, great…" Danny groaned, seeing the Box Ghost once more. "Not him again…"

"I AM THE BOX GHOST!" The Box Ghost shouted dramatically. "AND I WILL HAVE MY CARDBOARD VENGEANCE!"

Great… Takuya isn't with us, and I doubt that Phantom's at school. Andy frowned. "Danny, do you want to try using the Fenton Thermos?"

Danny sighed. "May as well. This guy's so annoying." He said as he took out the Thermos from his backpack.

The Box Ghost used his ghost powers to lift up the boxes of robotic frogs and hit Danny with one of the boxes, causing Danny to let go of the Fenton Thermos.

Sam took out the Fenton Lipstick and fired it at the Box Ghost. The Box Ghost yelped as he lifted up a box out of instinct to protect himself, and the ecto blast ended up hitting the box instead, destroying some of the robotic frogs.

"Oh c'mon!" Sam growled. "I spend good money on these robotic frogs!"

"How much money do you have?" Tucker questioned.

"Not important right now!" Sam hissed.

Andy swung his Fenton Rod at some of the boxes the Box Ghost was throwing at them, but since these boxes were filled with slimy robot frogs, some of the frogs got on Andy's face, blinding him.

Danny quickly seized his chance to transform while his brother was blinded. "You guys get to the assembly, I'll take it from here!"

Sam finally yanked off the frog that was on Tucker's face. "Yeah… we'll do that." She said before she turned to Andy and grabbed his arm. "Tucker, can you get this frog off Andy's face while we head to the assembly?"

"Eeew! It's so slimy!" Andy yelled as he managed to pull the frog off his face.

"Well… that part is realistic at least," Sam sheepishly said. "Now come on, Phantom's got this Box Ghost!"

"Wait, what? Why is Phantom here?" Andy asked as Sam was pulling him away from the battle.

"Phantom has a ghost sense, so it makes sense it would lead him here." Tucker informed as he ran behind them. "It's not unusual for a ghost to sense other ghosts."

"Where's Danny?" Andy asked.

"Don't worry about Danny, he likely ran the other way, he'll be fine," Sam quickly said. "Let's just get to the assembly."

Meanwhile, Phantom figured this fight would be easy, it was the Box Ghost for crying out loud. As such, he underestimated the Box Ghost. Box Ghost had dissecting knives in the box, and threw that at Phantom. Phantom quickly went intangible, causing the knives to go through him and hitting the locker behind him instead, which was, unfortunately, Andy's locker. Phantom was not going to hear the end of this from Andy later.

"Jeez… imagine if all of that hit me…" Phantom shivered at the thought of being dissected. "Maybe Sam has a point."

The Box Ghost charged at Phantom while he was distracted, using his own intangibility to be able to hit Phantom. Phantom was surprised at how hard the Box Ghost could tackle, he would make the football team for sure. Phantom, who was still intangible, was sent flying through several rooms until he came onto a closed stage. He hit the floor, and the hard tackle earlier caused Phantom to accidentally transform back to his human form.

"Whoopsie!" Danny said as he realized he wasn't in his Phantom form anymore.

The Box Ghost emerged from the wall as he grinned at the now human Danny. "Tremble before the might of the Box Ghost!" He said as he made a box nearby float up. "You will be devoured by the… uh…" The Box Ghost looked at the label on the box and smiled. "Oh yeah. Costumes and props of the broadway classic My Fair Lady!"

The box of props and costumes was launched at Danny. Danny tried to dodge these costumes, but he didn't train a lot as a human, and he was now starting to realize how hard humans had it when it came to ghosts, because right now the Box Ghost was beating him quite easily. Maybe Danny should've invested in at least a Fenton Rod in case he lost his ghost powers. Danny was now covered in costumes with only his hand sticking out, wiggling uselessly.

Box Ghost laughed maniacally when he saw he had pretty much beaten Danny. "Beware!"

With that done, the Box Ghost flew up through the ceiling, leaving Danny to struggle his way out of the costumes. At the same time, Sam was up on stage, ready to try to change the school once more. Andy and Tucker found a place to sit next to Takuya. Takuya was there to show his support for Sam's idea.

"I think this is a better idea than Sam's first one. Changing the lunch menu to no meat was a nice idea in thought, but in context, it wouldn't have worked." Takuya said as he looked at Andy and Tucker.

"Yeah, well, let's hope her new idea doesn't summon a biology ghost teacher who's angry that someone switched out live frogs for mechanical ones," Andy grumbled. "I'd rather not have to fight a huge corpse of frogs or something."

"That's a disturbing image," Tucker shivered.

Takuya also shivered. "Thanks for bringing that up Andy. Now I think I'm going to have nightmares for a while."

Up on stage, Sam was going to give her presentation. "Fellow students. Something sick and disgusting is taking place right here in our school. And I'm about to show you what it is."

The stage curtains opened, revealing the 'Save the Frogs' sign and her robotic alternatives. However, when the assembled students looked up, they started laughing. But it was not Sam or her idea. No, they were pointing at something off to the side. Sam opened her eyes and turned, only to see Danny laying in a pile of costumes. He was wearing a hideous white dress with pink accents, white gloves, and a hat matching the dress with a curly wig under the hat.

Takuya felt his face flush at seeing poor Danny dressed like that. "That is so wrong…"

"Whoo-hoo! Take it off!" Tucker called before he got a death glare from Sam. "N-no, seriously, he should take it off, that's weird."

Andy just stared, slack jawed. First of all, he was very confused as to why and how Danny got there in the first place. Second, he was confused as to why and how Danny got that dress and wig on himself that fit him so perfectly it was creepy. Third, Andy wasn't sure if Danny made a really cute and hot girl, or a really scary, femboy. Either way, Andy wanted to bleach his eyes out, and his brain.

Danny, to his credit, looked less embarrassed and more annoyed at the whole thing.

To say Danny had been annoyed about the 'dress up' incident was an understatement. He couldn't even face Andy as Phantom last night because he was too annoyed about the whole thing. Andy wondered where Phantom went last night, but figured he was likely taking a break after the Box Ghost incident. Danny refused to talk about the incident to Andy, Takuya, and especially Jazz.

But school was just as brutal the next day. Everyone was laughing at Danny as they were walking down the hallway. Sam herself was also pretty miffed. "Thanks to your little dress-up parade, my Save the Frogs presentation was a total bust!" Sam growled.

Takuya grimaced. "Speaking of bust… I will need to bleach my brain after that dress-up incident…"

Tucker couldn't help but make a comment. "Yeah, Danny in that bra? Dude, puce is not your color."

Takuya groaned. "Now I need to bleach my ears…"

"Oh grow up," Andy grumbled. "At least you guys still have your lockers intact. Apparently someone trashed my locker yesterday!"

Danny gave a slight cringe of guilt at hearing that. Wow, I need to work on keeping myself aware of my surroundings when I fight so Andy's stuff doesn't get destroyed, or even anyone else's for that matter.

They all looked at Andy's old locker, which was next to Danny's. Andy's locker had a large dent in it, and was wrapped by yellow tape.

"Why does this keep happening to my things?" Andy whined.

Danny decided it was wise not to tell Andy he was semi-responsible for Andy's locker being broken. The last thing he needed was to draw his brother's ire toward himself. Andy may not be half ghost, but he was plenty scary enough when angered.

"So were you assigned to a new locker?" Sam asked.

"Yeah…" Andy frowned as he looked down at his sheet of paper that Mr. Lancer had given to him during homeroom. "Locker… 724."

Hearing that, Sam and Tucker gained fearful looks on their faces. Takuya raised an eyebrow at seeing how the other two were reacting.

Danny blinked in confusion. "What's with you two?" He asked Sam and Tucker.

Tucker pointed at the locker that was behind them. The boys turned around, seeing 724 stood out from the other lockers. It looked old, beaten up, there was no new paint on it either.

"Wow… that is scary, nobody's been maintaining this locker for years from the looks of it. It might be a safety hazard," Andy commented as he touched the locker door, feeling the roughness of it.

"Why are you two so concerned about that locker?" Takuya asked as he looked at Sam and Tucker. "It's just a locker, right?"

"Okay, I can see why Takuya wouldn't know, but you two!?" Tucker pointed at Danny and Andy. "How do you not know the legend of Locker 724!? You live with parents who hunt ghosts!"

Andy raised an eyebrow as he opened up the locker, curious to see what had Tucker and Sam so spooked. He saw cobwebs inside, and the inside was just as old and depicted as the outside. A sure sign nobody had used or maintained this locker for a really long time. But there was one thing of note inside the locker, and that was this sleek looking face mirror with a golden frame around it. It appeared to be attached to the back of the locker.

As if to test something, Andy reached out and touched the mirror. He saw the mirror sparkling for a bit, which surprised him. He wondered if there was something supernatural about this mirror, considering their track record with ghosts. Andy pulled his hand away.

"What's this story about Locker 724?" Andy asked.

Suddenly, Dash put a hat and a wig on Danny's head, interrupting the group. Dash was out for revenge for that prank these people pulled.

"Hey, you forgot something, Fenton #1!" Dash sneered. "Let's see how it fits with you in your brother's new locker!"

Dash then picked up Danny and shoved him into the new locker before slamming the door shut.

As Dash walked off with his posse while laughing, Takuya clenched his fists in anger. "I hate that guy…" Takuya growled out.

"I guess it was only a matter of time before Dash started lashing back, now that he 'knows' I'm not actually a dragon," Andy said as he opened his locker to let Danny out.

"The locker is cursed," Tucker said as Danny fell out of the locker. "Though… I guess you're kinda always cursed with Dash around."

"Surprised he aimed for Danny and not me," Andy remarked. "I was the one who told Dash the whole thing was a prank. Danny wasn't even in the costume when I revealed it all."

"Well, he probably just wanted to get back at you by going after Danny, since he knows you're not a dragon now." Sam pointed out.

"So… going back to Tucker's story, how can a locker be cursed?" Takuya asked, deciding to change the subject.

"Well-" Tucker started before the warning bell rang. "I'll have to tell you later, we better get to class."

"And I hope people will forget about the cross dress incident soon…" Danny grumbled.

"I'm going to have to do some serious maintenance work on that locker. I don't think I can put my books in there without the thing falling apart on me," Andy sighed.

"You guys do that. I have to get to my own classes." Takuya said. "I'll see you guys later."

As the group walked away, they didn't notice the green light glowing in Locker 724, or the voice that spoke. "Buuuuulllieeees…"

The next morning, at Fenton Works, Danny and Andy were coming into the kitchen for some breakfast. Jack was eating some bacon and eggs, Maddie was working on another invention at the table, this time she appeared to be working on a pair of metallic gloves. Takuya was eating toast, and Jazz was reading another book.

"So, Andy, what's this I hear about you getting a new locker?" Jack asked as he looked up at the boy he was addressing.

"My old locker kinda got broken, so I was assigned a new one," Andy answered. "Although I might be better off with my busted locker since the one I have right now looks like it's falling apart."

"Do you think it's haunted?" Jack asked.

"Why would you think it's haunted?" Andy asked.

"We've heard about the legend of locker 724. It's something we've been keeping an eye on for a while now," Jack admitted.

"You know the legend of that locker?" Danny blinked. "Wait, what are you two planning to do exactly?"

"We're just planning to observe the school for any ectoplasmic readings and ghostly activity." Maddie replied as she looked up from the metallic gloves she was working on. "If we detect anything, it will most likely be from that locker."

"If you two knew about this locker, why didn't you do that before Andy got assigned to it?" Takuya asked.

"Well, because before nobody was using the locker, and it certainly wasn't one of our boys," Maddie answered. "But now we have a duty to make sure we keep them safe from any ghost haunting the locker!"

Why me? Andy whined.

Jazz looked up from her book when she heard her parents were going to their school. "What?! No!" She exclaimed as she stood up and rushed to hug Andy. "Andy's at a very critical stage in the development of his peer groups. He's already considered a nerd! The last thing he needs is you two confirming it!" She scolded her parents.

"Jazz, we need to have a serious talk about your pep talks," Andy grumbled.

"At least I didn't say Danny would have to worry about them too since his locker is just across from your new one," Jazz said.

"Oh, jee, thanks, that's a total confidence builder," Danny grumbled.

Takuya plopped his head onto the table at Jazz's attempted pep talks. "Great… way to bring up confidence, Jazz…"

"I'm just trying to be realistic," Jazz sighed.

Jack picked up the gloves when Maddie put the finishing touches on them. To show them off, Jack put the gloves on and punched his fists together, creating a loud CLASH.

"Not to worry, these Fenton Ghost Gauntlets will allow us to go mano-a-ghosto, it'll let us grab any intangible ghost, as well as match their unnatural strength!" Jack grinned.

Takuya felt a shiver run down his spine when he saw his uncle slamming the Ghost Gauntlets together. It was so similar to when he used his Pyro Punch when evolved as Agunimon.

Jazz then sighed. "Don't worry, Andy, Danny. I'm sure girls will talk to you in college." She sighed.

"Once again, we need a serious talk about your pep talks, Jazz," Andy grumbled. "Because this is your worst one yet. And I have a girl who talks to me, so screw you."

Jazz blinked before she smiled. "Really?! Then there's hope for you two yet! … Unless you're talking about Sam."

Danny groaned, his sister was definitely horrible at pep talks today. He wondered if she was in a bad mood or something.

They were back at school again. Danny just took out his books and headed for his next class. Andy was cleaning up the locker, currently keeping his books in his overloaded orange backpack. Andy really hoped he wasn't going to get a bad back years down the road due to this. Andy looked at himself in the mirror, the one clean thing in this man forsaken locker.

"Hey! Timmy the Tuba!" Andy snapped out of his grumbling thoughts when he heard Calvin's voice, and he looked over to see a couple of jocks picking on a chubby boy who was a member of the school band, and usually had his tuba wrapped around his waist.

Calvin snatched Timmy's hat and pulled it off of his head. "Nice shako! Does it remove ear wax too?" The jock sneered as he rubbed said hat decoration in Timmy's ear.

Andy frowned at the bullying. While he didn't approve of it, there wasn't much he could do about it. This was high school, the stronger ones will always pick on the weaker ones. Even if Andy were to intervene, he would just get bullied himself.

Andy closed his locker door and started to walk away, but he couldn't but look back, feeling like there had to be something he could do.

The two jocks threw the hat at each other, playing monkey in the middle with poor Timmy, who just wanted his hat back. Andy thought about using his Fenton Rod to trip up Calvin, who was running long to grab the hat, however, his locker door suddenly opened up by itself, and slammed the bully right in the face. Andy blinked in surprise when this happened, and Calvin fell to the floor with the hat landing on his head. Calvin was even missing a tooth from the impact with the locker door.

"What the?" Andy frowned, he wasn't sure if the locker's door was blown back by something or if…

"I'm so fascinated by AV equipment!"

Andy turned, hearing Paulina's voice. Paulina was in front of a nerdy looking boy, who was rolling a table with a projection on top of it.

"Can you show me how it works?~" Paulina said in a seductive voice.

The nerd was too entranced by Paulina to respond. This gave Kwan the chance to tie the nerd's shoelaces together unseen.

"Buuuuullieeeees!" Andy heard a voice moaning angrily.

Andy's eyes turned to his locker, and saw a green energy crawling out of the locker, and moved to a large trophy that was over Kwan's head. The trophy fell on top of the jock's head, this caused Kwan to panic enough to stand up and stumble back into a fire extinguisher. This caused the fire extinguisher to go off, spraying out foam all over Kwan and Paulina, who screamed. The green ghostly energy then went onto the confused nerd's shoelace, untying it before retying it back properly.

The nerd looked around, confused, but then shrugged. This wasn't any of his business, and he rather not get involved or in trouble with these popular kids, so he just continued pushing his equipment down the hallway.

"What the…" Andy stared, looking at his locker, which he was now convinced was haunted. Great, Mom and Dad are actually right about this thing being haunted. Welp, guess I'm gonna have a bad back down the road… I wonder if this… locker ghost despises bullies… it seemed to cause trouble for Kwan, Paulina, and Calvin, but helped the nerds out… I need to do more research on this thing.

Andy hadn't had a chance to talk to anyone until lunch started. Everyone was eating at the cafeteria today. The others heard Calvin talk about the incident with the locker door flying open and nailing him in the face, and Paulina was complaining how she'll be brushing the foam from the fire extinguisher for a week.

"It's like the school is haunted…" Kwan said uneasily.

Sam raised an eyebrow, looking at Danny. "Was someone busy today?"

"Why are you looking at me?" Danny asked.

"You and Andy are the ones who can come up with pranks on people," Sam said as a cover story, though in reality she wondered if Danny used his ghost powers to get back at these bullies.

"Well it wasn't me," Danny grumbled.

"I think it was my locker," Andy said.

"Huh?" Takuya looked up from his lunch. "Your locker? How can a locker get back at bullies?" Takuya then frowned a bit as he remembered his aunt and uncle's words about the locker legend. "Hold on… are you saying that Aunt Maddie and Uncle Jack were right about that locker being haunted?"

"Of course they were," Tucker said.

"Oh! It's Lancer!" Sam realized, seeing Mr. Lancer walking into the cafeteria. "I'll be right back!"

Sam quickly left before anyone could ask.

"Where is she going?" Danny asked.

"I'm sure we'll find out soon," Tucker said as he looked at his lunch.

Ever since Sam and Tucker came to an agreement with the school menu, they had gotten a lot more healthier foods. While Tucker didn't like vegetables, he decided it couldn't hurt to try some with his chicken and burgers.

"What's this legend about 724?" Andy asked, needing to hear this story.

"According to Casper High's records, locker 724 was used by a student called Sidney Poindexter back in the 1950s. Apparently he was the victim of more cruel pranks than anybody else in the history of Casper High. Some even say picking on him was a graduation requirement, but that part is most likely not true. Still, Poindexter was stuffed into his locker so many times, they say his spirit still inhabits it to this day." Tucker said as he brought up the information on his PDA.

"Now there's a horror story," Andy said. "Actually no, that's more of a tragedy. Did Sidney Poindexter ever graduate?"

"No, it was said the kid committed suicide during his freshman year," Tucker answered. "Some people think he was bullied and pressured into committing suicide, others say it wasn't suicide, and the bullies accidentally killed him by being too rough with him, and they're covering up the real story with 'suicide'."

Andy frowned, it just hit him that ghosts are people who were alive once before, and now they weren't. He, of course, thought of that when he first met Phantom. But lately he had kind of forgotten about that, and just saw Phantom as just another person, but with ghost powers. But now it hit him again that Phantom was a dead teenager, just like that poor Poindexter kid was.

Takuya shivered at the thought of a murder being covered up. "Geez… this place just screams horror stories. First the ghosts coming, and now a ghost haunting a locker, supposedly killed by his own bullies? What's next? A ghost that looks like a vampire?"

"That's why our parents moved here in the first place," Danny explained. "They were looking for the most haunted place in the world, or at least in America."

"But that makes things more interesting, wouldn't you say?" Tucker chuckled. "I'd love to see a vampire ghost."

"Considering how we have to fight these ghosts, or at least confront them, I don't think you do," Takuya grumbled.

"But just imagine, if the vampire ghost bit you, you'd have awesome ghost powers." Tucker smiled.

Danny grimaced. "I don't think it works that way, Tuck." He said. "A ghost can't give a human ghost powers that way."

Tucker sighed. "It was just wishful thinking."

Andy wondered if Phantom could even eat, he didn't know much about ghost biology. Phantom also tended to get uncomfortable whenever they talked about anything relating to him being a ghost. Lately they've been getting along really well when Andy started seeing him as a person with ghost powers rather than a ghost.

"You okay, bro? You got pretty quiet," Danny asked, noticing Andy's mood.

"Huh? Oh, I'm fine, just… have some stuff on my mind is all," Andy replied.

"Okay, bro… If you say so." Danny said, not sure if he had anything to do with Andy's mood.

Takuya perked up when he saw Sam coming back, holding a box that had air holes and was… going 'ribbit'? "Um… Sam, what do you have there?"

"N-nothing… certainly not trying to smuggle frogs out of the biology lab while Lancer isn't looking," Sam explained nervously.

"Don't bring frogs to our table," Andy grumbled.

Before anyone could say anything, Andy was suddenly bombarded with a bunch of meat to his face. "Wah!?"

"Hey, everybody! What do you say we meat my new locker neighbor?" Dash said as he held up a small stack of meat patties in his hand.

Takuya growled as he looked at Dash from the corner of his eye, his eyes holding an odd look in them.

"There's the bullying I was waiting for," Andy sighed as he pushed the meat patties off of his face.

"Knock it off, Dash!" Danny snapped.

In response, Danny got an entire sandwich on his face, meat, cheese, vegetables, green pepper, and to top it off, a large Italian bread with an olive sticking at the top of his head.

"Enjoy your sandwich, losers!" Dash laughed as he and his posse walked away, laughing.

Andy blinked. "That's… high quality stuff. We can totally eat this! This is usually only reserved for popular kids!"

"You… want to eat what was thrown at your brother?" Takuya blinked, surprised Andy would even suggest that.

"Hey, when you grow up with parents who bring weiners to life, you take what you can get," Andy said as he took the big bread off of Danny's head.

"Ugh… I can't believe you want to eat that, bro." Danny groaned.

Tucker looked contemplative. "Hmm… I wonder how Dash would feel if he had a frog in his jacket?"

"Or how about 12, in his pants?" Danny grumbled.

"Oh no, you're not going to use these innocent frogs in some juvenile revenge scheme!" Sam said as she protectively held the box of frogs.

"He's kidding," Andy said as he put all the meat, cheese, and veggies into a container. "It would take days to properly put all those moving frogs into Dash's pants without getting caught unless we incorporate a ghost's help or something."

Danny wanted to give a smirk, but he didn't think Andy would appreciate having Phantom's 'help' with such a prank.

"Are you going to ask Phantom or something?" Tucker asked. "Cause I'd be down for that."

"No, why would I ask Phantom to use his ghost powers to bully a bully?" Andy asked. "Phantom even said it himself that he knows it isn't cool to use his powers directly on the bully, that's why he didn't help us after getting us in the house with the dragon prank. Besides, I don't know if I'm comfortable asking Phantom to come into this school unless there was a ghost attack." It might remind him of his days of being alive…

Danny gave a slight wince. Geez… sometimes I hate having dual identities. This is making things so much harder than they need to be.

"There's gotta be something you can do to get back at him," Takuya said. "He's trying to get back at you two for pulling that prank at his party."

"While I don't like how Dash has been treating us, there's something else on my mind right now," Andy said. "I think Tucker might be right, that Poindexter's spirit might be inhabiting locker 724."

Takuya blinked. "H-huh? Y-you think so?" But if that is the case, then why haven't I sensed anything? I would get those chilly and hot feelings at the same time if I did.

"Yeah. Earlier today, I saw the locker when it nailed Calvin in the face, and when it caused that trophy to fall on Kwan's head that caused him to bump into the fire extinguisher," Andy answered. "There was some kind of green energy that reminded me of Phantom's ghost rays that manipulated things in the school, it even untied a nerd's shoelace that Kwan tied up earlier to trip him. I also heard a voice moaning 'bullllieeess'. If that's not a clear sign the locker is haunted by a ghost, I don't know what is."

Takuya frowned a little. "If that's the case, we may have to be careful, especially if you guys want to retaliate against Dash. There could be a chance you two could be targeted by the ghost if you try to get back at Dash in front of that locker."

"I wasn't planning to anyways," Andy said.

"How can you not though?" Danny asked. "Weren't you the same guy who liked pranking me if I teased you about your animal collection?"

"Or how you hung me in a net in a living room because I ate your last cookie?" Takuya added.

"I'm a fair guy. We gave Dash a scare, humiliated him, and ruined his party. Getting hit by meat patties is nothing compared to that, and we get free high quality food," Andy stated.

"Sometimes… even though you're my twin brother, I just don't get how your mind works," Danny sighed.

Andy rolled his eyes. "And considering 724 may have a ghost haunting it, I have higher priorities than to deal with a petty grudge against Dash. Mom and Dad are going to be here at any minute, and they'll be looking for that ghost."

Takuya sighed. "Great…" Which means I may be sensing a ghost soon if Aunt Maddie and Uncle Jack manage to flush it out of that locker.

Danny groaned. "Just what we need: our parents here to stake out a locker and embarrass us at the same time."

"So what do you plan to do?" Sam asked.

"We may have to try to flush out the ghost ourselves, preferably before our parents get here," Andy said. "And see if we can bring them to the Ghost Zone."

Danny blinked. "Wait, really? That will… be interesting if we can pull it off."

Takuya gave a small grin. "This may be a good way to try and help a ghost move on. And we may learn a thing or two about ghosts ourselves!"

"But how do you know this ghost won't turn on us once we let it out?" Tucker asked. "So far, besides Phantom, every ghost we have met has been… well… not very nice."

"From what I can tell, the ghost doesn't seem actively hostile, it only seems to go after people it perceives as bullies," Andy explained. "It helped the ones who were getting picked on. So the ghost may not be bad, but perhaps trapped, especially if it is Sidney Poindexter's ghost."

"But how will we flush him out?" Takuya asked.

"Hmm…" Andy began thinking. "If Sidney had died as a freshman… he'll likely be a teenage ghost. So maybe I can ask if Phantom could convince him to come out, being a fellow teenage ghost?"

Danny blinked. Huh… I never thought of that. He mused mentally before he gave a small smile. "I think that would be a great idea. One teenage ghost to another? It sounds like something Phantom would probably be willing to help with."

"Yeah, and Phantom might have a friend to play with while we're at school." Andy smiled.

Danny then started to sweat a little. "A friend?"

"I mean he must be lonely and bored when there's no ghost attack, and none of us are talking to him," Andy said. "I'm sure he'd appreciate having a friend who's a ghost like him to talk to and isn't evil."

Danny blinked before he smiled a bit. "Heh… maybe that can work out for Phantom then." Wow… this will be interesting to say the least. A ghostly friend? Wow, that will be kinda cool.

Until Danny remembered that he wasn't exactly going to be available for his new ghostly friend like Andy thought he would be. Meaning Sidney would be the one subjected to being lonely and bored waiting for Phantom to show up.

And there is the downside… Danny groaned mentally. Great… When it seems a good idea comes along, something has to ruin it… I really need to learn if there is some way I can create more of myself…

"Um… but how about we focus on getting the ghost to move on in the Ghost Zone?" Danny suggested, not wanting to leave the ghost to his lonesome with Andy's unintentional good, yet cruel idea.

"We could check out the locker right now and see if we get a reaction," Takuya suggested.

"Maybe… I rather not risk Mom and Dad finding the ghost before we get a chance to get him out," Andy admitted. "I can't visit Phantom until later tonight, which would make things harder… I need to give Phantom a cell phone…"

Danny looked uneasy at hearing that, but he did his best to hide his unease. "Um… yeah… that would be… great…" He said. Aw man… If Andy did that and then it rang, everything would go down the gutter faster than I can say 'Going Ghost'!

"I'll check out my locker, and see if I can get anything," Andy said as he stood up. "I'll save the sandwich for dinner tonight."

"I'll see if I can help you, Andy." Takuya offered. "I mean…" He trailed off, hoping Andy would get his meaning. I can see if I can sense this ghost.

"Yeah, it'll be nice to have a big, strong, athlete with me," Andy chuckled. "Maybe you can ward off the bullies."

Takuya blinked before he grinned. "That I can do no problem." He said.

"Okay. We'll see what we can uncover about Sidney's… um… 'death'." Danny said, not wanting to let Andy know he was very tempted to help out too, but as Phantom. Something was telling him to help this ghost, and he didn't know why.

When Andy and Takuya left, Tucker and Sam looked at Danny, seeing that he was growing restless and uneasy.

"You're totally going to help, aren't you?" Tucker said.

"I have to. It's… like something is screaming at me to help." Danny admitted at last. "I can't ignore it, and it feels like if I do ignore it, I… I will feel… guilty and… sad… and just horrible…"

"Then go help them," Sam said. "I'd feel the same if I wasn't able to save these frogs. I'm sure you can come up with some kind of excuse as to why Phantom is here."

Danny smiled a bit. "Thanks, Sam. I hope I can as well. I feel bad lying to Andy and Takuya, but what else can I do? Anyway, I have a ghost to go help."

Danny hurried out of the cafeteria to find a place to hide to go ghost. He hoped Andy wouldn't get too suspicious of his sudden appearance as Phantom at the exact time Andy and Takuya were checking out the haunted locker.

Andy and Takuya were standing in front of the cleaner, but still falling apart, locker 724. Andy opened up the locker.

"The only thing in this locker is that mirror," Andy remarked. "I've been trying to clean out, and see if I can get someone to help me fix up this locker before I put my own stuff in here."

"I can see that." Takuya noted, seeing the locker looked much better than before, save for falling apart. However, as he looked at the mirror, Takuya suddenly got those conflicting feelings of hot and cold down his spine again. "Ah… Why do I get feelings of hot and cold at the same time?!"

Andy looked at Takuya. "Maybe it's because your magic armor is a fire element, but ghosts are naturally cold?"

"Maybe… but it at least is handy in that I can sense ghosts." Takuya admitted as he looked at the mirror. "And boy, am I sensing something ghostly with this mirror."

"So this mirror is likely sealing the ghost, or it's connected to it in some way," Andy theroized. "Mirrors were hypothesized to lead into another world, so if we're using ghost logic, that's possible as well. A mirror world of Casper High maybe."

"So, how do we lure the ghost out?" Takuya asked as he eyed the mirror. "Can we even get the ghost to come out?"

Andy cautiously reached out to the mirror and touched it, though nothing happened. Andy knocked against the mirror to see if he would get a reaction, but again, nothing happened. "The ghost seems to only respond to bullying. That might be the key to getting it out here…"

"Then what do we do?" Takuya asked. "Get bullying occurring near this locker? If what you're saying is correct, then most likely the bullies won't get anywhere near here."

"Maybe we don't need actual bullies, we could try something the ghost might interpret as bullying," Andy suggested.

"Like what?" Takuya asked.

"Like you pushing me into the locker," Andy said. "Or I guess if Danny had gone through with his 12 frogs in Dash's pants prank in front of the locker, that could be seen as bullying without context."

"I don't know…" Takuya frowned. "I don't like the idea of pushing you around, Andy."

"Hey guys!"

Andy and Takuya jumped at the sudden voice behind them, in Andy's case, his head hit the top of the locker with a CLANG.

"Ow!" Andy yelled as he put his hands on his poor head.

"P-Phantom?" Takuya blinked as he saw the black and white wearing ghost boy. "W-what are you doing here?"

Phantom gave a sheepish grin. "Well, you know how it is. I was floating around and I saw you two by this locker, talking about something. I got curious and wanted to see what was going on."

Andy looked over at Phantom. "The heck are you doing here?"

"Err… sorry about your head, b- erm, Andy," Phantom sheepishly apologized. "I… um… well, remembered when I was going to school… and thought it'd be nice to fly around a high school to see what it could've been like."

Andy frowned as he was just thinking about how lonely Phantom must be, and that he was a dead teenager. "Today may not be the best day to do that, because my parents are coming to this school to look for a ghost, and I rather they didn't catch you here."

Phantom looked like a kicked puppy at Andy's words. "O-oh…"

Andy melted at Phantom's kicked puppy dog pout, especially since Andy had just been feeling sorry for Phantom earlier.

"A-alright! You can stay, but please, for the love of your own safety, don't get near my parents when they come," Andy groaned.

Takuya snickered. "Wow, who knew Phantom could pull off the perfect puppy dog pout?"

Phantom grinned at Andy's relenting. "Thank you!" He said as his ghostly tail started wagging a bit.

"Now you look like a puppy!" Takuya said jokingly.

Andy covered his eyes. "Put that tail away, are you trying to kill me with cuteness?"

Phantom had the decency to blush green as he reformed his tail into his legs. "Err… sorry…" He apologized sheepishly.

Andy gave a sigh of relief when he saw Phantom had legs again. "Well, since you're here, maybe you can help us with-"

"I'm happy to help!" Phantom smiled, a little too excitedly.

"You don't even know what we need your help with," Andy said, raising an eyebrow.

Phantom hesitated. "Err… I mean… well… whatever it is you need help with, I will try my best to help you." He said, trying to clarify what he meant.

"Right… so we were trying to figure out how to get a ghost out of a mirror," Takuya said. "We think a ghost who used to be a student in Casper High had died in his locker at some point, and his ghost is in the mirror."

"Problem is, we don't know how to flush him out without making up a bully scenario here," Andy informed. "Unless Dash over there is bold enough to try something."

Phantom blinked before frowning. "That does sound difficult. But we can't just leave a ghost stuck in his locker like that either."

"Can you do anything about this mirror?" Andy asked.

"I can try," Phantom said before he landed in front of the locker and reached out to the mirror. "I feel… something… like a closed door that's slowly opening up, but hasn't fully opened yet."

"So we might need to get it to open," Andy noted before he looked over at Dash, who wasn't looking at them, but rather checking out his reflection with a mirror in his own locker.

"I would rather not do this, but we need to help this ghost out," Andy sighed. "He'll target whoever 'bullies' the next person… so…"

Andy looked at Phantom. "How do you feel pulling a small prank on that jock over there?"

Phantom had a mischievous grin cross his face. "A small prank huh? I can handle a small prank easily~"

Phantom almost couldn't believe his luck. He was going to get back at Dash for the sandwich thing, not tarnish his image in front of Andy, and help a ghost out. It was almost too good to be true. He was holding a box of frogs he managed to get away from Sam. Takuya and Andy stood near 724 as Phantom stood at the end of the hallway. Phantom smirked as he turned himself invisible. He was going to enjoy this.

Unseen, Phantom floated up to Dash and pulled out his underwear before slipping it over the jock's head. Then, Phantom pulled open Dash's pants and slipped the frogs in.

"Ow! OWOWOWOWOW!" Dash screamed as he felt the frogs jumping in his pants.

Dash hopped past 724, just as planned.

"It almost looked like Phantom was a little too eager to do this prank," Andy muttered.

"Yeah…" Takuya muttered with a sweatdrop running down the side of his head. Then he felt the chills and heat run down his spine. "Ah! And I think it's working! Something is coming from the locker!"

"Pretend you don't notice it," Andy quickly said as he turned his back to the locker, and Takuya did the same, pretending to chat with Andy about something.

"Buuuullieeeees!" The voice moaned.

"So I plan to join the soccer team this year," Takuya said, latching onto the most normal conversation topic he could think of.

"Oh, really?" Andy replied, half looking back at the locker.

A gray scale ghost pulled himself through the locker's door. The ghost had a bowl cut for his hair, thick glasses a nerd would wear, and wore a white shirt with a necktie. The pants were plaid and he wore gray shoes as well. The ghost also had some teeth that looked like they were in an overbite almost.

"Hey! I'm free!" The ghost exclaimed in a nerdy sounding voice. "The doorway finally opened!"

Then the nerdy ghost looked over at the invisible ghost kid who was laughing at the prank he just pulled. The nerdy ghost glared as he flew over to Phantom.

"You think that's funny, buster?" The ghost frowned.

Phantom realized he had been seen and stopped laughing. "O-oh! You…You can see me?" He asked, surprised that this ghost kid could see him.

"Yeah that's right, bub. Ghosts can see other invisible ghosts," The ghost nerd informed. "Now you leave that poor kid alone."

"O-oh! Wait… it's… it's not what it looks like." Phantom said as he tried to hold back another case of the snickers.

"Well it looks to me you're using your ghost powers to bully a human being," The ghost nerd said. "Let's see how you like handling someone who can use ghost powers too."

The ghost nerd began to summon his powers, causing a wind of school supplies around them, which was similar to the Lunch Lady's powers when she summoned all that meat to her.

Of course, all of this the ghost was doing had an unintended side effect on the whole school. People's lunches were suddenly slamming them in the face. Mr. Lancer, who was looking for the frogs Sam took, was startled when the beakers in the biology lab started breaking all of a sudden.

Meanwhile, outside of the school, Maddie and Jack were walking towards the doors.

"You sure you have everything, Jack?" Maddie asked as she was preparing her Fenton Bazooka.

"You bet, Mads!" Jack said as he held up the Fenton Ghost Fisher. "I'm ready to catch some ghosts!" He also had the Fenton Ghost Gauntlets with him as well.

Jazz, who had seen her parents coming, quickly ran in front of the door to block their path. "How many times do I have to tell you? There's nothing weird going on in this school! Now please turn around and leave before you do something that'll embarrass me and my brothers for life!"

Jack and Maddie looked at one another, wondering if Jazz was actually right for a moment before Jazz was proven wrong and they were proven right. The doors swung open and out came a horde of screaming students. The students scattered in every direction.

"Move, Maddie, move!" Jack yelled before he and Maddie rushed into the school.

Jazz facepalmed herself, she didn't know what caused everyone to run out screaming, but she highly doubted it was because of a ghost. Talk about the worst timing in the history of bad timings!

Meanwhile, the nerdy ghost was trying to hit Phantom with the books, papers, pencils, folders, and other school supplies. While his power seemed to work similarly to the Lunch Lady's, he didn't actually build a giant monster made of school supplies, instead, he was trying to hit Phantom like the Box Ghost would. Phantom, however, was intangible, so everything was going through him.

"Look! If you'd just let me explain!" Phantom spoke up.

Andy and Takuya hadn't expected this kind of power from the nerdy ghost, they were being pushed back too much to even attempt to talk to the nerdy ghost.

"Was this a part of your plan!?" Takuya shouted over the winds.

"No!" Andy shouted back.

"Some planner you are!" Takuya grumbled.

"I can't plan for everything! I'm not psychic, you know!" Andy grumbled back.

Takuya knew they had to get to the nerdy ghost, but with these winds, they couldn't make it as humans. "We can't get to Phantom in these winds like this!"

"Oh really!? And here I thought we were just playing a game!" Andy sarcastically shouted.

"I know a bully when I see one!" The ghost nerd said to Phantom before he shot out eye lasers, which were his own ghost rays, amplified by his glasses.

Phantom's intangibility couldn't protect him from that, and he ended up getting sent back through several rooms.

The winds seemed to die down once Phantom was away from the nerdy ghost. Takuya was the first to notice this. "Hey… I think we can approach the nerdy ghost now. The winds seem to have died down."

"Ribbit!"

Takuya blinked as he turned to Andy, seeing a few frogs were on his head and face.

"Get them off!" Andy panicked, trying to pry the amphibians off of his face.

Takuya reached over and grabbed a couple of frogs in his hands. "Ugh… they're all slimy!" He exclaimed, trying to not drop the frogs. "Gross…"

"At least you're wearing gloves!" Andy shouted, his face all covered in slime. "These better not be poisonous frogs!"

Sam rushed over, picking up the frogs and putting them into the box. "Maybe this wouldn't be happening if you didn't tell Phantom to take my box of frogs!"

"Well we had to do something to get the ghost out of that mirror…" Takuya grumbled.

"Jeez, what's with all the chaos out here?" Tucker grumbled, having followed Sam.

Phantom flew back into the hallway, seeing the ghost nerd facing him.

"Put an egg in your shoes and beat it, bully!" The ghost nerd snapped.

Sam, Takuya, and Andy looked up at the ghost.

"I'm Sidney Poindexter!" The ghost introduced himself, before looking over at Tucker. "And wherever there's a nerd in need, I shall be there!"

"Hey… Who are you calling a nerd?" Tucker deadpanned.

Andy walked over to Tucker and Poindexter, however, Phantom chose this time to fly at Poindexter, worried that the ghost would use his powers to hurt them. Phantom's need to keep his friends safe kicked in. Poindexter, however, managed to turn himself intangible, causing Phantom to miss him and ended up tackling Andy instead. Andy let out a yelp before they both crashed into some lockers.

"Hey! It worked!" Poindexter said with pride as he looked back at Phantom and Andy, who were now on the ground.

"Ugh… Sorry, Andy…" Phantom apologized.

"That's gonna smart in the morning…" Andy groaned, not being as durable as Phantom.

"Hey… that's the guy who used to have your locker!" Tucker pointed out.

"Thank you, Captain Obvious," Andy grumbled.

Takuya wanted to do something, like evolve or even just stop this from going on any further. He clenched his fists before standing up and facing Poindexter. "Please, just stop this." He said. "Phantom is not the bully here."

Poindexter didn't seem to notice Takuya was talking to him, or who 'Phantom' was. He took out a pen, an old fashion looking pen, and used it to squirt ink out at Phantom's face. Poindexter started laughing.

Phantom, getting pretty angry now, stood up. Andy, seeing what Phantom was about to do, grabbed onto Phantom's waist before the ghost boy turned intangible and flew at Poindexter, not even noticing Andy was on him. He went through the floor with Poindexter and Andy before crashing down in the school's boiler room.

Andy groaned as he was face first on the floor. Phantom pushed himself up, surprised to see Andy on the floor, before he felt his core weakening from accidentally putting Andy in danger, and turned back to human. Luckily for him, Andy didn't see it.

Poindexter looked up and gasped. "Holy socks! You're the Halfa!" He exclaimed.

"Uh… what?" Danny blinked, confused by the term.

"The Halfa! Everybody in the Ghost Zone talks about you! You're halfa boy, halfa ghost, the halfa!" Poindexter explained. "You have all our powers on the human plane, and- … you were using your powers for evil!?"

Andy slowly pushed himself up from the floor, feeling quite dazed. Danny really, really hoped Andy had been too dazed to have comprehended what Poindexter just said, because if anything was going to have Andy connect him and Phantom together, it was knowing Phantom, or Danny, was half human, half ghost.

"N-no! Listen!" Danny quickly said to Poindexter. "The only reason I had done what I did to Dash was because-"

"Wait a minute… I have the power to overshadow others… I would flip if I could have your powers," Poindexter remarked as an idea came to him.

"Huh?" Andy blinked, seeing Danny in front of Poindexter instead of Phantom. "What?"

Poindexter turned intangible before going into Danny's body. Andy nearly choked on air when he saw that.

Danny began to fight back against Poindexter's influence, but it wasn't going so well. He looked at Andy, a pleading look in his eyes saying 'help!'.

Andy's eyes were wide in horror, but he also felt weird. He felt like his soul was threatening to split in two. He didn't know what or how Danny got here, but he needed to do something to stop this.

Andy wobbled at Danny as he was shivering, trying to stop Poindexter from taking over. "I apologize for this…"

Andy ended up slapping Danny's cheek, which shocked Poindexter enough to have Danny push him out.

"Hey! What was that for?! I was trying to give this bully a taste of his own medicine!" Poindexter exclaimed, angry at Andy now.

Andy took a moment to breathe, to recover from whatever was going on earlier. He glanced at Poindexter. "This 'bully' you were trying to take over is my twin brother! And he's not a bully, he's the victim of bullying!"

"Huh? B-but I saw… the frogs… the pants…?" Poindexter stammered, not sure who was telling the truth now. He just knew what he saw. "I saw him! He bullied that poor kid!"

Is he talking about Phantom? How many ghosts are going to mistake Danny for Phantom? Andy frowned. Just roll with it. "Well that was because that 'poor kid' threw him into my locker, threw meat patties in my face, threw a whole sandwich in his face, he just wanted a little pay back. He could've done much worse things to Dash than just put frogs in his pants."

Poindexter blinked before he frowned. "Then… the poor kid I saw running away wasn't a nerd?"

"Uh, no? In what universe would Dash, a big, strong, leather jacket wearing jock, look like a nerd to you?" Danny asked, recovering from nearly getting his own soul ripped from his body earlier.

"So that was a jock?" Poindexter frowned before looking at Danny and Andy again. "Gosh… I really messed up."

Andy sighed in relief. "And to be honest, I did ask him to do that so we could help get you out."

"You did?" Poindexter blinked, surprised to hear that.

"We've had a few run-ins with ghosts before," Andy explained. "I'm actually friends with a ghost who helps us when we need him. After hearing your story, since I was currently using the locker you used to use, I thought maybe we could help you out. You didn't seem like a bad ghost."

"You… wanted to help me?" Poindexter asked, even more surprised now. "I… no one wanted to help me before…"

Danny and Andy frowned, feeling sorry for the nerd, he didn't deserve to go through the hell that he did when he died.

"Not long after… I moved on from this world, I ended up trapped in my own personal hell," Poindexter explained. "I think it's supposed to be my lair, but because of how I… left this world, it continued to torture me, trapped me in a limbo of perpetual bullying from my days in this school. The teachers are completely absent, just like they were in my life, pretending to not notice how badly I was being treated… When someone opened my old locker, and touched my mirror, I noticed a small doorway was opening to this world. I could see a small window through the mirror. I saw some people getting bullied, and… I couldn't sit by and let it happen. The more I saw bullying, the more I tried to claw myself out… until it finally worked. I'm free from that torment."

Danny frowned. Now he felt really bad for Poindexter, and this feeling he was having was screaming at him to help, like a loud alarm going off in his head. "I… I'm sorry you had to go through that…" He said, not sure of what else to say.

"But if you'll allow us, we can help you move on from your life," Andy suggested.

"How?" Poindexter asked.

Andy frowned as he thought for a moment. "Maybe you can see what school is like through the eyes of someone with friends even if you do get bullied? It might help."

Poindexter blinked before he looked down in thought. "In my life, I never had friends… Maybe… That may not be a bad idea. I've always wanted to know what it's like to have friends."

How could nobody be friends with him? He seems like such a swell guy… you know, when he's not trying to teach you a lesson for bullying someone. Andy thought to himself.

"But, bro, how are we going to do that?" Danny asked. "Mom and Dad might be at the school by now, and if they see him, well… it's not going to end well."

Andy had a lot of questions for Danny, and why Phantom seemed to have disappeared, as well as why Poindexter, as well as Skulker, seem to mistake Danny for Phantom. But for now, he needed to focus on Poindexter.

"Well… how does a ghost usually hide themselves from humans? Besides going invisible?" Andy asked.

Poindexter realized what Andy was saying. "They can overshadow someone!" He exclaimed in realization.

"Andy! Are you nuts!?" Danny shouted. "I want to help him as much as you do, but he almost ripped my soul out just a minute ago! Which I'm pretty sure you felt too!"

"Calm down before you blow a gasket, bro," Andy sighed. "That was when he thought you were a bully. But…"

Andy looked over at Poindexter. "If we let you overshadow someone, you're not going to rip out their soul, right? Or make them do something stupid, would you?"

"Oh, of course not! Not all overshadowing rips out someone's soul. It's only if a ghost wants to do that." Poindexter explained.

"Alright," Andy said. "Then in that case, is it possible for a ghost to overshadow someone but still allow that person to be aware of what's going on?"

"Yeah, that can happen, but only if the human and ghost come to an agreement or the overshadowing is consensual. Overshadowing otherwise makes the human fall unconscious or removes them from their body if the ghost wants a human host." Poindexter explained.

Andy liked that he was able to ask questions like these, Phantom was still a new ghost, so he was learning about what ghosts could do just as much as Andy was.

"Then in that case, you can use me as your human body for the rest of the school day," Andy volunteered.

Poindexter blinked. "You… you would let me do that? After what I nearly did to your brother?"

Danny was also surprised that Andy was willing, and trusting, to a ghost to take control of his body like that.

"Are you sure about this, bro?" Danny asked.

"I don't believe Poindexter is a bad ghost," Andy answered. "What almost happened was due to a misunderstanding. From what I can tell, ghosts can get a bit extreme when it comes to their… purpose. Take the Lunch Lady for example, and Technus, and let's not forget about Skulker. Or when one of us becomes a ghost dragon, we are fixated on what angered or stressed us out. That doesn't make them evil or mindless, but it does make them more extreme to what we perceive as normal and healthy behavior. Poindexter wanted to protect the other victims of bullying, that's not a bad thing to do. Though how he went about doing it did cause some problems with the other students. However, if we can help him see what life is like again, just for a few hours, it will help him remember what being human is like, and hopefully, help him move on from his tortured past."

Danny looked down in thought. He had to admit, Andy's idea was better than just fighting Poindexter and the misunderstanding never getting resolved until Danny himself had been in Poindexter's shoes, so to speak. Danny then looked up. "Well, as long as he doesn't do anything that could give himself away when around Mom and Dad, I don't see a problem with it."

"You sure are smart, are you one of those fancy prodigies?" Poindexter asked Andy, taken in by his speech earlier.

"Uh, no?" Andy replied. "I just read a lot of psychology books, and noted down on ghost behavior, at least the ones we had seen so far. Believe me, I would love to be a prodigy, then I wouldn't have to worry about failing school or studying for another test. But our big sister probably inherited most of that."

"Oh, I see." Poindexter said. "It must be interesting to have a prodigy for a sister."

"Only when she is not being a know-it-all…" Danny grumbled.

"So you're both okay with me using one of you as a body?" Poindexter. "Temporarily of course."

"I guess, as long as it's only for a few hours and you don't try to rip out my brother's soul or anything," Danny answered.

"And you let me stay aware of what's going on," Andy added.

"Oh, I agree to both of those terms." Poindexter said. "Um… do I have your permission then?" He didn't want to just dive into Andy's body so suddenly.

"Yeah, go ahead. This should be an interesting experience for me," Andy chuckled.

Poindexter grinned before he turned intangible and floated into Andy's body slowly so as to not cause him any harm or any pain.

Once settled in, Poindexter was careful to keep Andy's mind and soul aware of what was going on, but Poindexter was the one in control for the moment. "Wow… It feels amazing to have a body again!" Poindexter exclaimed happily. "Are you feeling okay, Andy?" Andy's eyes were glowing a gray color to show Poindexter was in control.

"I'm okay, mentally. It's weird to not be able to move my body, and watching from my own eyes. If this was a serious possession going on, I'd be freaking out. I can see why ghosts tend to knock out the person they're overshadowing." Andy mentally replied. "Is it possible for me to regain control while you're in here?"

"Oh, absolutely. If I just let you take over, I will be a mere presence in your mind. It will be like having two souls in one body." Poindexter said using Andy's body.

"Huh… that's an interesting concept. I see a lot of anime tropes that have a character with more than one soul in a body," Andy remarked.

Poindexter blinked as he saw some of Andy's memories of these anime shows he was talking about. "Wow, that's cool! Maybe I can watch these 'anime' stuff too!"

Danny sweatdropped as he watched 'Andy' pretty much having a conversation with himself. They were both such nerds it was kind of funny. Danny couldn't hear Andy's mental voice, however, so he was only getting the one side conversation.

"Um… so listen, Poindexter, try not to talk to Andy out loud when you're around others, otherwise people might think you're crazy," Danny informed.

"Oh! I promise I won't." Poindexter said with a smile. "I'm going to let Andy take over for a while, so I can observe what it's like for you two. When we switch, his eyes will glow gray, so you know."

"I'll be sure to keep that in mind," Danny replied.

Andy's eyes changed back to their natural green, and Andy blinked as he moved himself a little bit, and patted himself down. "Wow, this is definitely quite the experience. We should probably tell the others about this so they don't start freaking out and getting the wrong idea."

Danny nodded. "Yeah, that may be best." He agreed before he chuckled. "Wow, this is not how I thought our week would go. But it sure makes for an interesting experience. This may be one of your better ideas, bro."

"Heh, maybe something Phantom can work on in the future in case it ever comes up," Andy chuckled. "Speaking of Phantom, where'd he go? And how'd you get here, bro? I could've sworn I hung onto Phantom when he went intangible and came down here with Poindexter."

"You mean you don't know?" Poindexter asked.

"Don't know what?" Andy asked.

"Your brother is the H-"

"I must've got caught up in that tackle Phantom did to Poindexter," Danny quickly spoke up, looking at Andy's eyes, also trying to signal to Poindexter not to say anything. "But I guess Phantom grew tired and had to get out before he got too weak. So that just left you and me with Poindexter."

Poindexter caught a silent plea in Danny's eyes. Don't say anything, please! Not yet!

"O-oh… right!" Poindexter said, going along with Danny's plea. He wasn't about to out a fellow ghost if they were not ready to be revealed yet. "Yeah, of course, the Halfa had to leave, and he probably realized I wasn't bad."

"Oh… okay… what's a Halfa?" Andy blinked.

"That's probably what ghosts call teenage ghosts," Danny covered, realizing Poindexter must've slipped with that. "Nothing to think too deeply about. Hahaha, how about we get out of here? This boiler room is starting to make me melt."

Andy raised an eyebrow at Danny, but followed his nervous laughing brother out of the boiler room.

Tucker, Sam, and Takuya were finishing up gathering all the frogs. Takuya had been worried about his cousins, but he was sure they could handle Poindexter, and his ghost sense had calmed down, and nothing else was happening in the school, so Takuya wanted to take that as a good sign.

"Jeez, you try to help a ghost and he goes ballistic on everyone," Tucker grumbled.

"I'm pretty sure the misunderstanding caused it," Sam said. "They should be able to handle him though, he didn't seem like a bad ghost."

"I hope you're right, Sam." Takuya said with a sigh before he grabbed another frog. "I'm just worried, because Andy and Phantom just disappeared with Poindexter."

"Is it true!?" A familiar woman's voice shouted that startled the 3 of them. "Did you kids just witness a ghost attack!?"

Maddie and Jack practically appeared in front of the 3 kids. They were obviously excited to see, and capture, their first ghost.

Takuya paled. S-shit! When did Aunt Maddie and Uncle Jack get here?!

"Fear not, kids! These gloves were made for grabbing!" Jack shouted excitedly.

"Uh, no, no ghosts here, Mr. and Mrs. Fenton!" Sam said, trying to cover for Danny and Poindexter.

"Where are Danny and Andy? Aren't they usually with you?" Maddie asked. "The ghost didn't get them, did it? I will show no mercy to any ghost if they hurt my precious children!"

"Ah, no need to do that, Mrs. Fenton!" Tucker said quickly. "Andy and Danny are in the school, don't you worry! No ghost hurt them!"

Mr. Lancer came walking over, frowning, and saw Sam with the box of frogs. "I doubt there is anything supernatural actually going on here. What happened before was likely just a girl creating a diversion for her own needs."

Takuya froze when he saw Mr. Lancer as well. Ah, double shit! He swore mentally. So much for our distraction…

"Well I'm not convinced. Those students we saw running out earlier had to be running away from something, and we're going to find out what it is," Maddie said. "Let's go, Jack!"

"I'm right behind you, Mads!" Jack smiled as he and Maddie ran off.

Mr. Lancer sighed, suddenly feeling like he was responsible for these two. "Ms. Manson, I will come back to talk to you about those frogs."

With that warning, Mr. Lancer rushed after the Fentons.

"Wow… I didn't think Mr. Lancer would run after Mr. and Mrs. Fenton like that." Tucker said as he blinked in surprise.

"Yeah, and now I have my aunt and uncle running around the school looking for a ghost…" Takuya grumbled. "I love them, I do, but their ghost obsession can get a bit much at times…"

"We're finally out of that boiler room!" The group heard Danny's voice from not too far away.

They rushed to where they heard Danny's voice, and saw Danny and Andy coming out of a door that was meant for school staff only.

"Hey guys, glad we didn't have to go far to find you," Andy greeted.

"Where were you, Andy?" Takuya asked, worried for Andy. "Last I saw, you grabbed Phantom as he and Poindexter turned intangible! And… Wait… Why is Danny here, and where are Poindexter and Phantom?"

"And to let you guys know, your parents are here, looking for a ghost," Tucker added.

"They're here already?" Danny frowned. "Great… just great… they're going to make things harder for us."

"What's wrong with your parents being here?" Poindexter asked Andy.

They're ghost hunters. Andy mentally answered. They've been trying to catch a real ghost for years now. I'd rather they didn't catch you or Phantom.

"To answer your question, Takuya…" Andy said as he closed the door behind him and pointed at the door's label that read 'boiler room'. "That was where I was."

Takuya blinked, before blushing, realizing Andy did just come up from there after all.

"I don't know where Phantom is, he seemed to have left because he got tired or something," Andy continued. "Danny apparently got caught up in Phantom's tackle earlier with Poindexter."

"It was a pretty rough landing," Danny added.

"As for Poindexter himself, we decided to do a little experiment that I hope would help him out," Andy said.

"What experi-" Takuya was cut off as he felt those feelings of heat and chills run down his spine again, just not as severe as they normally were. "Wait… is… Poindexter inside you, like possessing something?"

"We… uh… prefer the term 'overshadowing'," Andy blushed, feeling embarrassed. "And yeah, he is. I figured the best way we could help Poindexter's spirit move on from his tragedy was if he got to experience school with actual friends. Maybe he can come to terms with how life is and how people, even bullies, are just that, people. So… uh… I would appreciate it if you guys let Poindexter hang out with you with my body for the time being."

Sam blinked before she smiled. "Helping a ghost move on? That sounds like a job for us!"

Tucker grinned. "Yeah! We can show him all the ropes of normal life!"

Takuya sighed. "I don't like the fact you have to share a body with Poindexter, but I did say I would help, so I can't back out of it now."

"Alright, I'm glad you're all in agreement." Andy smiled. "I'll let Poindexter take over from here then. Do try to keep him away from my parents."

Everyone noticed how Andy's green eyes shifted to an unnatural gray color. Poindexter was now in control. Poindexter gave a sheepish smile at them.

"Hey, uh, fellas. So what do we do around here?" Poindexter awkwardly asked.

"Oh boy…" Takuya sighed.

Sam grinned. "We have lots of stuff we do around here." She smiled. "Maybe you can help me with my save the frog campaign."

"Spiff diddly dee, that sounds like fun!" Poindexter smiled.

"Uh… don't say 'spiff diddly dee', nobody says that these days," Tucker lectured.

"Oh, uh, right, I'll try to remember that," Poindexter replied.

"Come on, let's go," Danny suggested. "Maybe we can show Poindexter around the school, see how much has changed since he was in Casper High."

"What about class?" Takuya asked.

"Considering the school had a bit of a scare from the ghost 'attack' earlier, the classes are probably canceled for the time being," Tucker answered. "So we have some free time."

"Well, that explains the lack of students…" Takuya noted, having not seen another student for a while now.

Sam was eager to show Poindexter around. "C'mon! We'll start with some of the classrooms. Some are used for different things than they used to be, so that's a good place to start."

"Heh, so this is what it's like to have friends. It's nice." Poindexter smiled.

As they were walking, they stopped when they saw Dash banging his fist against a soda vending machine. "Come on! Give me my soda!"

"Oh, it's Dash." Andy remarked.

It looks like he could use some help. Poindexter noted. I'm going to help him.

"Are you sure? He might… not be too pleasant." Andy asked, but he wasn't going to stop Poindexter.

Hey, even machines can be 'bullies'. Poindexter chuckled as he walked ahead of the group.

"Poi- I mean, Andy, what are you doing?" Danny asked.

"Don't worry, I'll handle this," Poindexter said before he approached Dash. "Hey, let me help you out there, pal."

Dash blinked when he looked at 'Andy', a little wary of what this prankster would try to pull on him.

Poindexter put his hand on the vending machine's side, and used his ghost powers through Andy's body to turn his arm intangible to reach through the vending machine. Luckily, Dash couldn't see the arm going intangible from where he was standing.

"Whoa… you can use your ghost powers through my body?" Andy asked, fascinated and surprised.

Of course. Any ghost could do that. Poindexter replied. It's pretty common for a ghost to be able to do that when in a human body, but most don't want to because it would give them away.

"Wow… that's so cool. I've always wondered what it would be like to have ghost powers." Andy chuckled.

Poindexter messed around in the vending machine for a bit before he finally managed to get a soda can to fall out into the slider for Dash to reach in and grab.

Dash wondered how 'Andy' had managed to get the soda can free for him, but he took the can from the slider nonetheless. "Thanks…?" He said warily, but at the same time surprised.

"No problem, buddy," Poindexter chuckled.

"Wow, you're going to get him suspicious. Dash and I aren't exactly buddies," Andy explained.

Poindexter mentally frowned a bit at Andy's comment.

"Are you going through puberty or something?" Dash asked, noticing a slight change in 'Andy's' voice.

The group looked at each other a little nervous, wanting to see how this played out.

Dash then wondered if this sudden niceness of Andy's could be taken advantage of. "You know, I'm a little tight on quarters. Think you could get a few sodas on me and my pals?"

Do you have enough quarters to get more sodas? Poindexter asked Andy.

"I don't get an allowance from my parents, so no," Andy replied. "If you do want to give them more sodas, maybe you could ask Sam or Takuya for some money?"

Swell idea! Poindexter smiled.

"Hey, uh, Sam, Takuya, could I borrow enough quarters to get egg creams for the other kids?" Poindexter asked.

"Egg creams?" Tucker blinked.

"I think you mean 'soda'." Takuya deadpanned.

Sam rolled her eyes, but handed 'Andy' a few quarters to cover the cost of the sodas.

"Thanks a whole bunch, Sam." Poindexter smiled. "You're really nice."

Sam tried not to blush at the compliment, she didn't usually get complimented. "W-whatever."

Danny tried not to snicker at Sam's reaction. Danny wasn't usually one to give Dash what he wanted, but he wanted to respect his brother's wishes to let Poindexter experience school while he was here.

"Alright, hopefully these quarters will be enough for your friends," Poindexter said to Dash as he put the quarters in to get more soda cans out.

Before long, there was a small crowd of students gathering around while Poindexter was giving them a free soda. Poindexter was rather enjoying this, he liked seeing how happy he was making these kids, and how they were cheering him on rather than waiting to beat him up.

Danny couldn't help but smile at seeing how Poindexter looked so happy. Wow, if Andy hadn't been around, I would've been suffering like Poindexter did because of my own tendency to fight ghosts. This is way better, seeing Poindexter so happy, and willingly, with Andy's help.

Danny then realized something else and couldn't help but snicker at the thought. Oh geez… Andy is probably going to write this down as soon as it's over! I hope he doesn't plan on making me overshadow him later in hopes of letting me experience school life or something… he totally would…

Poindexter got a little fancy and tossed the soda cans at some of the kids, who caught their cans. Most of the kids were jocks and popular kids, which was ironic since not that long ago, Poindexter wasn't exactly being nice to them. It was more likely Poindexter didn't remember their faces, he only remembered the actions of the bullies. But since nobody was bullying anyone right now, Poindexter couldn't distinguish who was a bully or not. To him, these were all kids who were just happy at getting a free soda.

"Well, Fenton, maybe you're not such a bad guy after all, discounting that dragon incident," Dash complimented.

Dragon incident? Poindexter mentally asked.

"It's a long story. I had a ghost amulet stuck on me that turned me into a ghost dragon when angered or stressed enough, I accidentally changed in front of Dash, so I had to pull a prank with a dragon suit to get him to think that whole thing he saw with me transforming was just an elaborate prank," Andy explained.

Oh? You pranked this kid? You must be quite the mischievous one. Poindexter mentally chuckled.

"I'm not that mischievous these days. You should've seen me when I was 6." Andy chuckled back.

"This is quite the turn around," Sam noted as she watched the other kids praising Andy for their free soda.

"Jeez, if I knew all it took to get in the popular kids' good books was free soda, I would've done that a long time ago," Danny muttered.

"Hey, not everyone can know what will work on popular kids." Tucker said with a shrug. "They're picky on what they like."

"I just hope this doesn't backfire on us." Takuya sighed. "It usually does."

"No need to get so pessimistic, it's not like we're in an episodic TV show where everything always goes back to the way it was before," Tucker remarked.

"Oh haha, very funny." Takuya grumbled.

Sam rolled her eyes at the snarks between the boys.

"Well, you seem to be thriving in the present day here, Poindexter," Andy noted.

Poindexter smiled as he blushed.

"Hey, Fentonmister, you know, we're short one for touch football. Are you in for some practice on our team?" Kwan asked.

Getting excited in joining in on an activity he was invited to, Poindexter didn't hesitate to answer. "Posilutley, absitively!"

"Nobody says that anymore!" Andy spoke up, feeling embarrassed Poindexter said an outdated slang with his mouth.

"Oh, that's a good one!" Kwan chuckled, thinking the slang was pretty amusing.

Poindexter blushed a bit, both at Andy's words and at Kwan's compliment.

"I guess it's so old it's cool… retro, yeah." Andy commented, surprised by how accepting Kwan was to the answer.

Poindexter smiled as he was being led out to Casper High's football stadium, which had been fixed up from Andy's dragon incident. "Hey guys, come on! This will be fun!"

Poindexter was waving to Danny and the others, excited for them to watch or join in.

Danny smiled. "At least he doesn't forget his friends."

The others followed Danny as he walked over to join Poindexter or watch him play with the jocks for a bit.

"We'll see how this goes." Takuya muttered

As Poindexter was walking down the hallway, his eyes went wide and he paled when he saw his locker was wide open.

"What's wrong?" Andy asked.

My lair, it's trying to take me back. Poindexter replied. I won't let it!

Poindexter rushed forward to slam the locker shut. He wasn't going to let his lair take this away from him.

"Your lair is trying to take you back? It can do that?" Andy asked, surprised.

You'd be surprised what a ghost's lair would do, depending on a ghost's state of mind. Since I've been subconsciously torturing myself, I never allow myself to escape, so I can't leave my lair, and my lair makes sure I can't escape. Poindexter explained. The fact the locker was open, that means my lair is trying to bring me back.

"Fenton? What's with you?" Calvin asked.

"Oh, it's nothing, don't worry. I just noticed my locker was open, and didn't want it hitting anyone in the face," Poindexter replied.

Calvin rubbed his face, remembering all too well how painful it was to be hit by a locker door. "Good call there."

Poindexter made sure to lock the locker before continuing on down the hall. I won't go back until I've had fun here with my new friends.

Andy wondered if Poindexter would be able to finally escape the personal hell he had created for himself if they were able to help him move on.

Titanic X: DarkFoxKit: Yes, the prank was indeed awesome.

ZAFT: At least the boys got some payback~ XD

Pokemon fan 1991: DarkFoxKit: Deadpool? Is he reading this? Also, yeah, it is difficult to think of a plot with Digimon and Danny Phantom. They're not exactly meant for each other, considering Digimon uses regular people as partners, not super powered ghostly heroes. A big reason why I wanted to do the reboot is because I felt like we weren't utilizing the Digimon very much without it coming off as forced.

ZAFT: I think it's working out much better too. :3

CT7567Rules: ZAFT: Ah, I was wondering about the screen name and what it meant. Cool to know that. :3 And I am so glad you are watching Digimon Frontier again~ It's still a classic favorite series of mine. XD

DarkFoxKit: Unfortunately, being the ignorant, uncultured swine that I am, I don't watch Star Wars much, so the name was lost to me until you pointed it out. But I'm glad you're enjoying the story.

ZAFT: I hope you will continue to enjoy it as the chapters come~ :3
