Inside a base were a team of stand users, John who was the leader, looks good looking with black hair, blue eyes and a mixed race but with light skin was looking at a computer and got a notification that something or someone just enter another world.
So far they been having a lot of trouble dealing with stands users entering worlds that are more or less peaceful, causing a domino effect which people in the world will manifest their stands.
It wasn't long until his partners entered the room, he look back seeing his friends which where four of them.
The first person he saw was Kyle, his appearance was that he's caucasian American with brown hair and eyes, normal frame but also good looking a bit. The next person was Jake, his appearance was good looking as well with black hair that was wavy like spikes. He's Japanese mixed.
The third person who entered was a boy named Kola, he's Asian American with black hair and brown eyes. He's good looking as well. The last person was a girl, her name is Amai and she's beautiful looking with long black hair, green eyes and a firm frame.
Kyle was the first to speak.
"Hey, you got anything?"
The rest was wondering the same thing as john looks back and see that someone enter a world.
"Yeah, a stand user just enter a world similar to earth, in Japan..."
This made them moarn and sighed, amai said.
"Jeez, another stand user."
Kola asked: "Who's going?"
John look thorough and saw two people including him is going.
"Yep, me, Kyle and Jake are going."
They were quiet as john looks back to see the two looking unexcited about this. John figure they were upset in some way, but figure they have to do this.
"Come on guys, let's not waste time."
"I'm sick of this man, we can't always keep risking our lives for this."
Kyle said as they follow him as john responded.
"Well, you guys agreed to this, so you already know what to expect."
Kyle didn't seem amused with that, he responded.
"John each stand users are different and usually dangerous. Something might happen."
"Well, let's hope we get the first jump first."
John not waving his courage and good nature, Kyle was just ignored, knowing that john won't be saying no to this. They were reaching the portal room asjake add his say.
"You know, we can't always keep doing this, we have lives you know."
"Yeah, like my family back home."
Kyle said as john look at them and sighed, he got close.
"I understand, I really do. But sadly we can't just abandon our duties so easily. Who knows what might happen if we don't do this. I know you guys are okay with that but, you already know why we can't stay here. Innocent people will be caught in something that they won't fight back, we agree to this and we will help them as much as we could."
Kyle seem unconvinced.
"But how long?"
John wasn't sure as his eyes went somewhere else and back to them.
"Whatever it takes, besides is not for nothing."
He sighed as john turns around and head to the portal and start hitting the buttons as the portal opens, john look back at them and was hoping they will come as he entered the portal.
Kyle look at Jake who was a little unsure as Kyle look at the portal a little upset.
"Jeez john, always playing the hero..."
He couldn't help but admire that, but yet again hated risking his life for those he don't even know. He enters as Jake soon follow behind as they were on the other side, what confused them was the uniform they were wearing.
"What the hell is this?"
Kyle said as they look at their uniforms which were green with brown shoes, they look at each other as john spoke.
"Well that's new."
Jake was appalled which he dig into his ear, looking very confused, this made the two concerned.
"Uhm, Jake you okay?"
He look at john and he was freaking out a bit.
"I-i-i can't hear!"
This made the two shocked completely as Kyle was about to say something but choked on his words as he coughed and continue to cough. John was still fixated on both of them and didn't know what to do. Jake was panicking while Kyle was bending down while coughing which turned to him having breathing problems.
"Jesues, you okay?"
John said concerned as Kyle summon his stand Twenty one pilot and send air into his lungs as he could breathe easily again.
"Jesus, *pant* damn asthma..."
He continue to breathe as Jake was still scared and didn't know what to do.
"Guys, a little help!"
John doesn't know what to do but then thought of something and summon his stand Imagine dragon and then point at himself to tell him to summon his stand.
Jake took the hint and summon his stand Friction as john started to communicate with him with his stand.
"You can hear me right?"
"Holy shit! I can hear you!"
Jake said with his own words, but doesn't understand how is this possible.
"How are you talking to me?"
"Well I learn a thing or two from my dad, apparently you can communicate with one another with your stand. I guess that means we can't talk to other normally."
Jake was baffled as Kyle was lost.
"Okay what's going on?"
"Jake is deaf, and I'm talking to him with my stand."
"You can do that?"
"Yep, we all can."
John said that to Jake as well which surprise them both.
"You serious?"
He nod his head.
"Yeah, let's both try."
"How do I do that?"
Jake said with his voice as john explain.
"Well, is like...Thinking, is the best way to put it."
"Really?"
Kyle said as Jake thought for a moment and concentrate and finally he spoke to john.
"Can you hear me? One two three?"
"Yep, I can hear you."
Kyle got on to this too."
"Hey can you hear me?"
"Yeah."
"Hey, is Kyle talking too?" "Cool!"
John notice that each of them can't hear each other through their stands like normal conversations.
"Yes."
"Kyle, we cannot-" "You serious?"
"Cannot what?"
John was looking annoyed which was visible on his stand face.
"Jeez, we cannot conversat with each other like we normally would, so one at a time."
"Really?"
They both said almost in unison, at this point he finds this humorous and annoying at the same time.
"Geez, Kyle I'll talk to Jake so I'll inform you with the info in person."
"Okay."
"Jake, how are you deaf?"
"I don't know? I just can't hear anymore. Thank God we have our stands. I would never know what I'll do if we didn't speak like this."
John sigh for real, as he said with his stand.
"Okay well, apparently we will communicate like this for now, let's hope this won't stay."
This made Jake a bit tense as they were interrupted by a tall male who was Asian wearing a white shirt and dark blue pants, he was standing behind the gate looking concerned and upset.
"Hey what you kids doing out of school premise?!"
The two were a bit off guard as Jake noticed that john was shocked, he look behind him and saw the man behind the gate. Thankfully he couldn't see their stands still out as Kyle unsummon his stand as the man said.
"Well, you three better have a good explanation for not being in class.
John was the first to speak.
"Uhh, sorry sir we just lost track of time..."
"Never heard that before."
He opens the gate and said.
"Come on."
John look at the others and said with his stand and for real."
"Let's go."
Kyle wasn't sure about this, ain't they here to find a stand user and leave and now they're entering a school.
"John, what's going on?"
He said with his stand.
"We're playing along for now, we can't say no if he thinks we're students in this school."
The three notice how neat the school yard looks like as they notice a large abstract painting on the wall where the stairs split into two. The man walks up the right side of the stairs and said.
"You boys know you're in trouble right?"
John wasn't sure but said.
"Uhh, I think so."
The man sighed and wasn't speaking another word as they enter the school. Inside was clear and pristine, the hallway was long as the man stops and turns to the three.
"Okay, which class do you guys go?"
This surprise them except Jake, john doesn't have a answer for this, Kyle doesn't either as john came in red handed.
"Sorry, I don't remember..."
This confused the man, looking a little bewilder.
"What? You can't be serious."
He sighed out of annoyance.
"Okay follow me."
He turns and continue while they follow as the man said.
"What your name?"
"John."
And last name?"
He told his last name as he look at the other boy."
"And you?"
"My name's Kyle, burrgan."
"I wasn't specifically talking to you but is better I know it now than later."
He look at jake."
"And you kid?"
John spoke for him.
"I'm afraid he's deaf."
"Oh, one of them hey?"
This made john and Kyle confuse as they entered a room on the left as they were in a empty room, this made john uneasy as the man head to a desk and pick up the phone and started dialing someone.
They waited as the man said.
"Yeah is me, I have three kids here that are not in class... Yeah I'll tell you them names. The first kid is name john, the second is Kyle burrgan."
He looks at john.
"And what's the other kids name.
"Oh, he's Jake liuno."
He said what john said as the man just say some stuff as they waited for what seem like a long time as he said.
"Okay, thank you principal."
He put the phone down and look at the kids.
"So you're in class 3-3."
He points at the boys as he said.
"Well, you got what you get so you boys are lucky you won't be punish by me."
The boys look at each other as they soon left the room and head off, without another word. They head off down the hall walking through a path in between what seem to be bar handles.
The three were just unsure about all of this as Kyle spoke up.
"So what's the plain?"
John look at him and Jake and summon his stand.
"Jake stop."
He summon his stand and he look slightly distraught.
"Jeez, being deaf is a whole new experience."
John spoke in both voice.
"Yeah I know. Guys, we're still here to find the user. So far I have a hunch that we ain't here for no reason."
"Are you saying that somebody here Is a stand user?"
Jake said for real as john replied.
"Yes, I believe so... So I hope."
"Oh great."
Kyle said as john said.
"Well, come on, we got to get to class.
The three sadly agreed as they head off, not knowing what they have in store for them.
They walk up a steep track passing an odd paintings as they continue now reaching the class named 3-3. John looks at the boys and was slightly worried which made them too as well.
He opens the door and entered and see a lot of students looking at them, john glance at the teacher who was tall, lanky and wear a brown suit. He didn't seem to fond of them at the moment but relaxed just a little.
"Ah you boys finally made it, just take a seat, i'll deal with you later after class."
He said as the boys saw three tables in front of the right side as they head to their desk and took a seat, feeling all the eyes on him. Jake noticed a girl with dark blue hair and glasses doing what seems to be sigh language, he didn't understand but from her looks that she didn't seem happy.
They took a seat as john sit on the left at the end while Jake sat next to him on the right while Kyle sat next to Jake. Eventually the teacher started speaking again as Kyle was already bum out, they're 17 years old and have to learn in a new school. He honestly would prefer fighting a stand user than this.
They were listening to the teacher learning for a bit while Kyle was spacing out while John and Jake were listening to the teacher. Suddenly the bell rings as the students were already packing up.
"Alright, remember the assignment tonight, you all will have to practice."
The teacher glance at the boys as john felt odd about it, their first time here and they're already in trouble. The teacher went up to them.
"So, what kept you boys from being late?"
John was first to spoke.
"Sorry sir, we just lost track of time."
He sighed while putting his fingers on In-between his nose.
"You know this is the second time this happen, you boys really got to stop doing this. If this happens the third time then you boys will be in serious trouble."
The boys were quiet, Kyle find this unfair but yet again, this is something out of their hands.
"But for now you guys will be punish, for now you'll be writing a five thousand words on not leaving the school for long and will be cleaning the hallway In this floor. At least on this side of the hall."
Kyle was fumble at this, they have to be writing and cleaning, he was upset for sure. But didn't show it due to his best judgment.
"Alright, we made ourselves clear?"
"Yes sir."
John and Kyle said.
"Good, make sure to tell Jake about his punishment as well."
"Okay."
"OK, good talk."
He head off as most of the classmates left while John summon his stand as Jake did his.
"Jake, we're being punished."
"What?"
"Yeah, we'll be writing 5 thousand words on skipping school and-"
John was interrupted by three people who show up to them, the first person he saw was a short girl with dark blue hair and glasses, she didn't seem happy about them. The next was another girl with pink hair and a little taller than the girl, and lastly was a boy, tall and good looking with brown hair.
At that moment john was really grateful that nobody can see their stands unlike them. The girl with blue hair started to use sign language on the other girl as she look at them.
"Shizune Chan wants to know why you guys were late, and is also very disappointed in both of you."
Kyle was slightly surprised by this.
"Well... We were," He looks at the others and figured to try his best to just make a lie.
"We were out doing a few errands and just, lost track of time."
The girl in pink was doing sign language to what he presume is shizune as she still wasn't happy.
"Well, you guys should pay attention more, you can't keep doing that, if anything you both deserve your punishment, including you jake."
John was actually telling Jake the whole conversation and his eyes widen when she mentioned him.
Shizune was looking at jake personally and was throwing sign language at him, Jake doesn't understand sigh language and never learned it, so he has no idea what she's trying to convey.
Fortunately john learn just a little bit of sigh language but not entirely, so he gave him a rough translation.
"Uhh, Jake she's mentioned about being a student council and something, damn she's going fast."
She stops while crossing her arm while pouting at him, she turns and head off as the girl with pink hair look at her.
"W-wait shicchan."
Jake couldn't help but think that shizune was pretty cute, but was confuse about the student council thing.
John look at the tall guy and said.
"Wait, did you understood what she said in sign language?"
"Uhh, from what I saw she seem upset. She basically said that Jake should approve himself since he's part of the student council after all."
"What, really?"
The guy look at him confused.
"Yeah, you should know that by now."
John looks at jake who looks at him with a similar off putting look.
"A-anyways, I got to go."
He went off as john was left speechless, the boys were confused and clueless.
"Okay, that just doesn't make any sense."
Kyle said as jake said with his stand.
"How does this make any sense? How do they know us?"
"Yeah, this doesn't make any sense, what's going on?"
"Okay, I don't know, this bugs me too. But for now we still got some things to do."
Kyle wasn't liking this.
"No, we ain't dealing with any of this school shit, we got to find this user and get the hell out of here."
"Well yeah, but where to start?"
John said as the two were boggle for a bit as john sigh.
"Listen I understand but we need to act like, ordinary students so we have to go to our next class."
Jake said outloud.
"Yeah, well what is our next class?"
John doesn't know which made him concerned. Kyle looking upset as Jake was just unsure and concern. He came to a conclusion.
"Shit, maybe they know."
"Who?"
"Shizune or that guy, come on let's see them."
He stand up as they follow behind as they move on in the hall looking for them but they simply went in circle now very uncertain.
"Shit, where to john?"
"John see the stairs even know they were walkway that goes down as they went down. They moved on and was on the next floor as john notice a girl who was beautiful looking with blonde hair and has a cane with her, her eyes seem glossy but were blue.
She heard them and said.
"Hm, multiple footsteps, hello?"
"John spoke first."
"Uhm, hello."
Her face lighten up a bit.
"John, is that you?"
John blink with a surprise look, apparently she knows him.
"Uh, yeah."
She smiled warmly as she took a step forward.
"Oh john, I was wondering when I'll hear you again." Her smile had become a bit weaker.
"I heard you and your friends got in trouble again. *sigh* You know you should've took better responsibly with them and yourself."
"Uhh, right."
"What kind of punishment you boys have to deal with?"
She seem slightly sadden at that, john explain what they have to do.
"I see, well it appears you boys will be getting off a little too easy, but yet again I'm holding you boys up so I must be going. I'll be talking to you later john, please meet me in our usual spot during lunch."
"Hm?"
John said as she was about to leave he asked her.
"And just a reminder, where's that?"
She look back to him at least try to see him, even know she can't.
"Do you not remember? Is in the top floor above us right next to my class 3-2."
"Okay..." She was about to leave but john has one last thing to say.
"One more thing, I know this might sound strange but what class do we go next?"
She turn around and said: "i'm sorry I do not know. But if you forget then maybe it'll come back to you again. Unless is class 3-4."
She said as she turns around.
"So long john."
She left as john was unsure for a moment but at least they have a lead.
"Well, let's go guys."
"He said with his stand as well as they head up and see the girl head down the hall as john and the boys soon see the room as they open the door and entered and see plently of people around. The teacher who was slightly tall with a round belly and dark hair saw them, in fact it was the teacher that caught them.
"Oh, is you three, about time you show up, I thought you'll be late again."
The boys can feel the eyes on them, he notice many people were looking at him and john look back to the teacher.
"Come on sit down, so I can begin teaching."
The boys went and find their seats at the middle on the left side where the windows is, soon they learned a little about social studies as the teacher said to split into two groups and read and write down the answers.
The boys look at each other and realize they can't work with each other as they sadly split apart. They conversat with their stands.
"OK, see you guys and good luck."
John said as jake was really anxious.
"Hey, how the hell am I supposed to know what's going on without hearing anything? I don't even know sign language."
Jake look at each of them while john saw a man approach him, he quickly said.
"Just try, good luck."
Kyle agreed and went off to a girl with blonde hair and green eyes. Jake was upset at their abandonment.
"What the hell!?"
Jake felt a present lurking behind him as he look back and see a tall guy with a medium build and dark brown hair with glasses, he has a tough expression on his face which quickly turned relaxed.
The man spoke to him but he couldn't hear him, Jake was going to have a hard time.
John saw a man heading to his way as he saw that he was quite handsome looking with black hair and brown eyes, he was nearly the same height as him and had a average frame.
"Hello."
He spoke in a near smooth way.
"My name is Lelouch lamperouge, we're in the same class, are we not?"
John was a little off put by him but try to push it aside.
"Uhm, yes we are."
"Good, good, well today you'll be my partner for the time being, uhm..."
"Oh, my name's john."
"John, well is nice to meet. Shall we?"
He points at his desk near the corner of the room as we head off.
Meanwhile Kyle approach a girl with blonde hair and green eyes, he look at her and sigh softly.
"Hello, can you be my, partner for today?"
Kyle was a little nervous but she simply smile at him.
"Sure, I'll be your partner."
Kyle smile a little as he took a seat right next to her, Kyle introduced himself.
"Hi, my name's Kyle by the way."
"Nice to meet you, i'm emi Ibarazaki."
"Hmph, nice to meet you too."
He smile slightly as she noticed something and look for something.
"Uhmm, did you bring your book?"
"Book?"
He looks down and look around, realizing he doesn't have anything on him which felt awkward.
"Apparently not..."
"Hmm, is okay, I have mine."
She smiles as she tap on her book as Kyle was relief.
Jake couldn't hear the man in front of him, so he indicated that he's deaf. The man realized that and then look slightly puzzled, he try to do sign language but he doesn't understand that.
"Oh this is bad..."
John was sitting right next to him and notice he doesn't have a book as well, thankfully he has his so it wasn't a big deal.
"Well then, shall we begin?"
"Yeah, sure."
"Great, let's start, you'll be writing stuff down while I read."
"Uhmm, ain't we both supposed to work on our work as well?"
"Yes, yes I know, just... doing yours first than anything."
He put on a convincing smile as john simply agree with this.
Kyle was looking at her book as she was reading, they both work on their assignment as she said.
"Hey, how you doing?"
She looked at his work and nod approval.
"Okay, you're doing good, keep it up kyle."
"Heh, thanks."
They continue on working while Jake was having problems, he can't hear and the man doesn't know sign language. This wasn't good for anything as he summon his stand and look for john and notice him near the corner of the room.
"There you are."
His stand head to him as john was at least 5 meters away from him but this lead to a problem, his stand can only manifest as far as 3 meters.
"Shit, I need to call him, john!"
He shouted at him which shook john as he look back and see Jake's stand, john was about to summon his but then his partner talk to him.
"Is something a matter, john?"
He didn't seem to happy about john actions as he looks back at him and he still summon his stand and subconsciously head to him.
"Nothing, just checking on friend that's all."
He lean over and wonder who as he dismissed this.
"Whatever, shall we?"
"Yes."
John's stand was up close with Jake's stand as he said.
"What's wrong?"
"You know what's wrong."
Jake's partner called the teacher and told him that Jake was deaf, the teacher was a bit annoyed by this but figure this might happen.
"Alright, let's switch you with another partner who knows sigh language."
He looks at the claws and said.
"Attention everyone, does anyone knows sign language?"
The class was quiet as john stand said to Jake.
"Well, time for me to help."
"I can do sign language!"
John call out, he didn't heard but Lelouch was surprise by this and felt a little insulted.
The teacher look at him and points at him.
"Alright, come up here."
John got up and head towards Jake without glancing at Lelouch who was a little upset. John see Jake partner who walk pass him and head to Lelouch, he said quietly to himself.
"Oh great, you again."
The man sat down with a smile.
"Hello again Lelouch."
"Hey akidama."
Lelouch didn't seem too happy to see him but let this aside as they did their work.
John and Jake were relieved to be working together as john was relief to see that he has his own book. They work together which they really used their stands to communicate with each other.
Kyle notice the switch and realize why, emi was wondering why he was looking at them.
"Uhm, Kyle you okay?"
"Huh? Oh yeah I'm fine."
She was a little concerned and push it a little.
"Do you know them?"
"Y-yeah, they're my friends."
"You're friends huh? Well that's nice to know."
She smile a bit as they continue with their work as they all work for a bit and eventually the teacher said.
"Alright, that's enough for work for today, tye bell will ring soon so you all can have a small break before then."
They were relieved to be finished, Kyle especially, emi close her book and said.
"Well, i think we did a good job, don't you think kyle?"
"Uhm, yeah."
He nod his head as he look at his friends and see many people walking about as emi notice his attention on someone else.
"Kyle?"
"I...Got to go, thanks for being my partner."
He looked at her as she was unsure but put on a smile regardless.
"Hm, yeah, you too."
Kyle smiled a bit and head to his friends as he notice they were conversating with their stands.
"Hey guys, so how was the work?"
Their stands look at him as john said.
"It went well."
Jake basically said the same thing as Kyle was glad to hear that.
"Yeah, the work was surprisingly easy."
"Same."
Jake said as john notice how odd that they need to speak with their stands.
"Hey, are we just going to keep speaking with our stands?"
They were unsure for a moment which for Jake he just wish he could hear again.
"Well, as long is just us I guess."
John notice Lelouch heading towards them but the bell ring, Lelouch looked directly at john and he didn't seem to fond.
"John, why you left in such a hurry? Ain't I not nice?"
"Hm?"
"I mean, am I not nice...? Yeah."
He said quietly to himself the last one as john and the rest were staring at him as john said.
"Sorry man, I just needed to help my friend, he's well. Deaf."
"Hm...? I know another one who's deaf."
His mind drift away while he had a strange smile on his face as he snap back.
"Oh right, anyway you suppose to be with me you know."
"Well, sorry to run off like that, but I just wanted to help my friend."
He looks at him with a discontent look.
"Well, whatever, it don't matter now, I won't forget this betray john."
He walks away as he head out as john look at them as Jake asked.
"What just happen, who was he?"
"His name's Lelouch, apparently he's an ass."
John said outloud with his stand as well as they both chuckle at that a little.
"Yeah, definitely."
Kyle said as john look at how less of the students they were as he notice they have their own lunches as john said.
"Well look at that, is lunch time."
"Really?"
Kyle said as jake said also.
"Finally, I'm starving."
"Well, let's go, let's fine the cafeteria."
While they left they notice a percent behind them as Kyle look back and see that it was emi.
"Hey guys."
They turned besides Jake who kept walking as john called him out with his stand as he stops. Kyle wonder what she wants.
"Emi, what is it?"
"I was just wondering...Where you guys were going?"
This confused them as john said.
"Uhm, to the cafeteria."
"Really? Can I come?"
John look at kyle who was unsure as well, Kyle was about to dismissed her but john said this first.
"Sure."
"Huh?"
"Really, that's great!"
Kyle didn't understand as john said.
"Can you, lead the way?"
"Of course!"
She then realized why she is but push it aside as she head backwards as john and the rest follow. Kyle was about to question why but realize that john simply trick her to show them where the cafeteria is.
They head down the floors and was on the first floor as she continued and head south of the school as they soon reach the cafeteria, it was a large but modern like cafeteria as she said.
"You know I don't always go here but this time I wanted to try something here."
"Really, what's that?"
Kyle question as she look at him.
"Is actually because they serving a new dessert, creme brulee I think is called."
"Really, I have that before."
John said as she look at him with wonder.
"Really, what it taste?"
It taste really well honestly, i'm not the best at describing favors."
"Mmm, I can't wait to try it out."
She smiled as the two couldn't help but find her positive attitude alluring, in a good way, especially Kyle.
"Well, what are you guys going to get?"
They look at each other as john remember what that girl said, she told him to meet him in that room so he must keep that to heart.
"Well, I just remember something, apparently I'm meeting someone in a room, so I got to be going."
Kyle was surprise to hear this, he just remembered about her.
"You serious man?"
"Yeah, I got to keep my promise."
Kyle looked baffled.
"You didn't made a promise."
John looks at him.
"Sorry, just can't leave a girl hanging."
"A girl?"
Emi said wondering who it is but then realized who it is, which creep a smirking smile. The boys were left with emi as Kyle do enjoy her present, feel like this is not the time for this.
John head off and head back upstairs as he reach the room that girl told him to go, he prepared himself, having no idea what's in store for him.
He enters the room and see her sitting at a table with a tea set and two already made bento.
"Ah, john is that you?"
"Uh, yeah."
"Oh, is good to have you here john, come take a seat right next to me."
John eyes widen, she wanted him to sit right next to her.
"O-okay."
John agreed due to his best judgment. She was happy to have him right next to her, john couldn't help but feel odd, like there's something he doesn't know.
"So john, would you like some herbal tea, is your favorite after all."
John was quite surprise, how does she know he likes that tea.
"Uhm, s-sure."
"Okay, let me pour you some."
John was wondering how she's going to do it, he let his instinct kick in.
"Uhh, you sure, I can do myself you know?"
"Hm? John, you always trusted me to pour you tea, you know I been doing this more than once."
"Oh... Alright, sorry."
From what he can see, she seem a bit concerned but relaxed a bit.
"Okay, is alright john."
She managed to pour it in a cup without any drops on the table as she slide it towards to john.
"Thanks."
John look at the sugar cubes and was about to asked until: "do you want some sugar cubes?"
"Why yes, I would like some."
She proceed to grab it and made extra careful to put the cube in his tea cup, john was surprise that she put it in without missing, she definitely did this before.
"Do you want me to stir it for you?"
She smile sweetly at him which in all honesty made his heart flutter, even know he's in a relationship with someone else.
"Uhm, n-no thanks, I can do it myself."
She still keep her smile only relaxing it a bit.
"Very well."
John grab a spoon and stir it, as it was an awkward slient before she broke the slience.
"So john, how is your day thus far?"
"Hm? It's well right now."
He drank his tea regardless if is still hot, but it was warm right now as he set it down on the table.
"Oh, that's good. So far I hadn't been with hanako lately, I guess she's hanging out with hisao more often."
She had a small sad look to her, but then she change it completely.
"Well, it don't matter-"
She lean her head against him which surprise john.
"At least I have you with me to keep me company."
John was now confused, he wants to know why she know but more importantly why he's with her.
"Uhm... Y-yeah."
He think of what to say as she lift her head up and said.
"By the way I made us bento's their both the same made from me."
"Really? That's thoughtful."
"Well of course, I figure you wouldn't get lunch at the cafeteria, you perfer my cooking over theirs."
John blink, he doesn't know what to say, but said.
"Well, thanks..."
"You're welcome."
John grab one of the bento and drag it to her as she grab it and reach for two chopsticks and handed it to john. They ate in slient as john really enjoyed her cooking. He's still wonder about his relationship with her so he need to figure that out.
"Say, uhm? What if I sat I forget you but you still remember me. Will you help me remember?"
"Why, yes I would. Why do you asked?"
"Oh, I was just wondering like how will you go about it, like explaining it to me."
"I mean, I would explain to you of course."
"Well, can you show me an example?"
"An example? Sure, I can try... John, my name's Lilly satou and we been together for at least 2 weeks. We met randomly in a hall when I accidentally hit you with my cane. I loved you for your likeable and caring personality. That's mostly what I can think of."
John was a little glad she's blind because his jaw drop when he is with her in a relationship, he got most of the info and was just left with no words.
"Uhm john, you still with me?"
"Uhm, yeah I am."
"Hm, well what do you think?"
"Well... Let just say that I would remember you right then and there."
"Really? Hehe, well i'm glad you liked my example."
John doesn't know but, she's really a nice person, it would make sense he would like her. But he's already in a relationship with his girlfriend tatsu. He would not know what he'll do if she knows.
"So john, I know you have work after school but I just want to know if we could do something before then."
"Hm? I... Sorry but I got some plans with my friends."
"Oh, okay. Well, I do need to see hanako if she's alright."
"Right..."
John wonder a lot of things, his relationship with her, why they're part of this world already, it reminds him of his father stories he told him once when he was young but he doesn't remember. But he's very concerned about the stand user in this world, if they were in this school then he needs to find them and stop them.
"Lilly, have you ever heard anything strange in this school?"
"Hm? What made you say that?"
"Because, if... If anything happens to you..."
"Oh john, are you worried over me? That's really sweet of you but, you don't have to worry. Their hasn't been any rumors or anything bad that happen here so you don't need to worry."
"Okay. Well, what about outside? Anything strange?"
"No, you know I never care much for news but yet again, is always good to know what's going on. But I must asked, why are you so concerned?"
"Well."
He took a sip of his tea which was starting to become cold.
"I'm just wondering, you know I would do anything to protect you you know."
She smiled, she put her hand on john's leg.
"John, you're so nice, I never know you'll be this worry. You have to know that I'm not completely defenseless. But you thankfully don't need to worry about it."
"Right..."
The bell ring as Lilly smile slowly fade, but she's still in a good mood.
"Ah, it seem I lost track of time, we can spend our time together next time."
She lean forward to john and kiss his cheek, which made him blush.
"I hope to meet you again later."
Lilly proceed to put away the tea set as she said.
"You can keep the bento john, so long."
John see her left as he was left there with his thoughts.
"I'm in a relationship..."
He lean back in his seat just letting all that in, he can't help but like her, she's so nice and kind, let alone beautiful, he just doesn't know right now.
"I need to see the boys."
He got up and almost forgot the bento as he grab it and head off.
The boys were eating their lunch with emi who finished her lunch and went off to get her dessert. Meanwhile the boys discuss with their stand.
"So, Kyle what do you think of this place?"
"Does it matter? Is not like we're going to stay for long."
"But dude we may be here for a while, who knows where the stand user is."
Kyle sighed, he doesn't know what's going to happen.
"Well, beside this place, what stand does this person have?"
"I'm not sure, whatever it is it won't be good, so I hope."
They soon see emi heading to them as she sat down right next to them.
"Well, i'm back with my dessert."
They look at her with a neutral look which made her slightly uncomfortable.
"Hehe, uhm, do any of you want creme brulee?"
"Jake didn't heard her but she did gesture at her dessert which have Jake lift his left eyebrow, Kyle said.
"No thanks, me and my friend was thinking of finding our friend."
"Really? Am I really that borning?"
Kyle eyes widen at that as he defuse this.
"What no, it just we are worry about john that's all."
Jake look at kyle who had a small smile as he look back at her who just seem slightly sad.
"Well, okay then. It has been nice meeting you two."
"Yeah, same."
Kyle said as he tap on Jake shoulder and they left without another word. They left down the hall and went upstairs as the bell rings. They went off to the third floor and head to find him and saw Lilly walk pass them.
"Hey, ain't that girl that told john where to go?"
"Yeah."
Jake said with his stand as they heard a door open and close as they see john.
"Hey."
The two head to john as he look at them and smiled smalley.
"Hey guys."
He summon his stand and said that as Kyle said.
"Hey, why did you left us?"
"Kyle didn't seem to happy about him leaving."
"Sorry guys, I went because I just can't let go of that opportunity. But more importantly I got some interesting information from her."
"Really? What's that?"
Kyle said skeptical, as john said.
"Well, believe this or not but that girl, Lilly, are in a relationship."
"What?"
They both said as people were now heading down this hall as they look back and see them, as they pass while others went into their class. The two were understandably confused.
"How are you in a relationship with her?"
Jake agreed as well as john explain.
"Well, I don't know. I don't understand it either but, this reminds me of my father's time as a world invader. But I don't remember too much about it."
The two were still confuse as the hall was starting to become packed as john said.
"I think we should discuss this later."
"Fine, let's just head to whatever class we have."
They decided to head to their class 3-3 and see if they're right or not and notice that everyone they see before we're here.
"Hey, we probably choose right."
John whisper with his stand as well.
"You better be right."
Both Jake and Kyle said as they too their seats as the teacher came in and see everyone in class ad he begin class.
Everyone were working for a long while, nothing of interest happen during that time but then the bell ring as the teacher said.
"Alright, that'll be for today so I'll be seeing all of you tomorrow."
Everyone pack up their things as john realize that this is the last class as john said with his stand.
"Guys, we got more work after this."
"What, rea- Oh."
Kyle remember and the same goes to Jake as the teacher look at them.
"So, you boys ready for the assignment?"
John sighed: "yeah."
Kyle nod his head while Jake was silent, the teacher open his drawer and pull out three piece of paper and head to them.
"Well, hops you boys will learn something from this."
Kyle summon his stand and said.
"Yeah, nothing."
John smirk slightly but thankfully he didn't see it as they started working.
"And you boys remember to clean the hallway afterward."
"Don't remind me."
Kyle said rather upset as they work on their assignment with no care in the world.
It has been at least thirty minutes as they finished, the teacher grab their assignment and glance at them.
"Alright, you boys are free to go for now but remember about the hallway."
"Excuse me sir but how are we going to clean it?"
"Well, we already have a janitor on his way right now."
"Okay."
John said as the boys left the room and were outside, both relieved to be out and done.
"Finally, that was monotonous."
Kyle Said leaning against the wall as they waited for the janitor to come as Kyle did said that with his stand, Jake agreed.
"Yeah, that was bad."
He said outloud as john said.
"Well, at least it's over now. But we have to deal with the floors."
"Forget the floors, how are we going to find the stand user?"
"I'm not sure."
John said as jake added his idea.
"Hey, maybe we should leave the school and look for him."
"Good idea, but is a dumb one, seriously their's plently of people out there, this search will not get us anywhere."
"Well, we could always wait."
This made the two perplexed.
"Hm? What do you mean?"
Jake asked as john said.
"You guys don't know? Stand users attractive other stand users, so that mean that somebody in this school will come here."
"What are you two talking about?"
This caught john off guard as he turned around and saw that it was Lelouch stand there at least 2 meters away.
"What? Uhh, nothing."
"Sure you weren't, you were talking about stands? What do you mean?"
John was having trouble to make a excuse but Kyle said.
"We're discussing about this book we were reading, it doesn't concerned you."
"Excuse me what?"
He look agitated as he got a little closer.
"You think you can leave me out of this? No no no. If i want to be a part of a conversation then I like to know what is?"
Kyle was annoyed by him while john was unsure about him.
"Just leave man, it don't matter since we have to mop the floors."
He laugh a bit which made Kyle more upset.
"Haha, you serious? I forgot you got punished, well at least you both got you deserve."
Kyle was about to do something as he summon his stand as john was about to say something until they heard noises behind them, sounds of tapping.
They look back and saw that it was Lilly.
"Hey."
"Ohh, well ain't the class representa... Uhh. Blind girl."
He went up to her pushing them aside which made Kyle mad as john wasn't too pleased about that either.
Lilly heard footsteps coming closer to her as she tap on his leg.
"Oh, i'm sorry, I thought I heard john."
Lelouch was shocked to hear that as he look over his shoulder with a serious look in his eyes, he look back at her and had a smug look in his face.
"Oh I could be john if you want."
"What? L-lelouch?"
"Hmhm, yes it is, you never told me that you're with him."
"Well, I did actually, I presume you didn't heard me."
"Well, either way, is just us, why don't we head somewhere else maybe to spend some time together."
John hated this as he called out.
"Lilly!"
"John?"
"What do you see in him? Scratch that, you can't see him."
From what he saw, Lilly was upset by his words.
"At least john treat me better than you Lelouch."
John approach him as Lelouch was mad and said which preparing his left hand
"Why you-"
John saw he was going to hit her with his hand as john quickly went up and grab it.
"Hey! Don't you dare leave a hand on her."
Lilly was quite surprise to hear that as she backed away, Lelouch looked at him and back at her and forcefully jerk his arm away from him and turned and attempted to hit john.
John saw that fast and quickly dodge it as Lelouch threw hands at him but john dodge them with ease.
"Don't make me hurt you Lelouch."
"Please, don't fight in the halls!"
Lilly pleaded as they heard a voice.
"What's going on in here?!"
They look back to see two people, the teacher and the janitor.
"Out of all my years of working as a teacher have I see any person try to fight someone in the halls."
The teacher said as Lelouch look at john as the teacher said.
"Alright, who started this fight?"
Kyle spoke first.
"It was Lelouch, he was going to hurt her but john stopped him."
The teacher sighed like he knew something like this might happen.
"Lelouch, you really done it this time."
He looks back as the teacher look at the janitor.
"You know, how about you take the boys duty for tonight and clean the halls. After that your real punishment begins."
Lelouch was left agape as he look back at john with anger.
"This isn't the last time, john."
He said that only he could hear, john at this point wonder what's wrong with him.
"Come here, you boys are free to go."
Kyle was happy to hear that as he told Jake that as he smiled as well, Lilly was wondering about this and head off as Lelouch glance at her.
"What just happen? Did he try to hurt you john?"
"Yeah, but he fail to do so."
She sighed in relief.
"Phew, that's good."
"What's up with him?"
She look away while moving in the same place.
"Lelouch is know as the nice guy of the school, he's not really is but he try to be nice just so he can try to be with any girl he can be with."
"Why's that?"
"I'm not sure, I figure he just want a girlfriend or something."
John see that Lelouch was mopping the floors and said.
"Well, we should leave and talk about this."
"Right, we should."
Kyle didn't agree to this but will tolerate it for now.
They head off down the hall as the sun was setting as john said.
"Is getting late, hey is your place not far from school?"
"Well, i sleep in the dorms."
"Oh really?"
"You do too, john."
John eyes widen as he look at them and told Jake about it, he was surprise as well.
"Really? Do you know where we sleep at?"
"Well the dorms are at the east side of the campus, your room is on the second floor I believe, is 205."
"Thank you Lilly, you always a life saver."
She giggle slightly at that and smiled, Kyle asked.
"Do you know where we sleep?"
"Hm? I'm sorry but I don't think I do
Why do you asked, do you forget where it is?"
"Yes."
Kyle said as Lilly was quiet and said.
"Well if you forget then you should ask the faculty for help."
"Oh boy..."
Kyle said as he told Jake about it and he weren't so happy either. John said.
"Well, you been a real help but we have to do some little things now."
"Yeah, thanks lilly."
"Is my pleasure."
"We gotta go, bye lilly."
"Alright, I'll talk to you later john."
"Right."
She left the opposite direction as john stops as the two look at him as jake summon his stand as they both talked, which made it hard to john to understand what they're saying.
"Jeez, one at a time."
"John, we have no lead on the stand user, what are we doing now?"
"Well, is getting late, I don't know if we can leave but I say we should find our rooms and call it then."
Kyle seem to understand, even know they will be here for a while.
"Alright."
He told Jake about it as they head off to find the faculty people.
Meanwhile, Lelouch was finished with floors and been ranted by the teacher and was sentence to be isolated by his peers for a few days on a different class. Basically detention.
Lelouch was upset about this as he didn't show his anger as the teacher said he could leave. He left the room and head down the hall.
"Grrrr, damn that john, if he didn't get in the way i could of have it my way. Damn it!"
He slam his hand in a fist against the wall as he head down the floors and was at the first floor.
"That Lilly, how could she refuse me? If only she could see, she would of falling for me already back then, damn it."
He saw a long table with many magazines on the table as he went up to it and slam both hands on the table.
"Damn it!"
He saw a strange transparent red hands on the table which broke the table legs, this shocked him as the arms vanished as he wonder what that was.
"What was that?"
He thought he was seeing things as he left and head off to his dorm.
Meanwhile, the boys got their room numbers with spare keys as they head to their separate ways as john said goodbyes and told them they will meet tomorrow.
John went to his room and open the door, he turn on the light and close the door and look around the room, it was neat and the bed looked secured. He look around and notice a prescription pill and even a origami bird on the table, he went up to it and inspect it.
"Hm? That's interesting."
He put it down and went to bed, having a long day of school was something else, he wonder what tomorrow will bring.
Kyle enter his room and close the door, he dislike this school but have to tolerate it for now, he hope things will turn around for them.
Jake was heading down the hallway and saw two people, the first person he saw was a tall male with a white shirt, the second person was a shorter male with dark hair and glasses still wearing his green suit and had a scarf around his neck.
He notice them looking at him as he notice they said something but he can't hear, they still try to say something but he simply gesture that he can't hear and left. He hates that he's deaf, he doesn't know why he is but was at least greatful he can still conversat with his friends with their stand.
He enter through his room and simply hope that things will be better tomorrow.
Unknowingly their was a man outside the school premise as he look up at the school, the man wears a dark long coat and dark clothes in general.
"I have a feeling that their's something special about this school. I wonder what it could be."
The man walk away, planning what he'll do tomorrow day.
