If you are new to the story I would suggest you to watch all 3 seasons of SS124 era before you read this story, there is a lot that happened before this sequel. That way you will be able to interpret the story in a right way

Sun shined upon Mobotropolis as it was finally rebuilt, a lot of effort was made in order for the city to look the same way it did before the war. The war was long and deadly, many heroes gave their lives in order for peace to be finally achieved. Sonic and his crew managed to defeat the villains that threatened Mobius so they could help in rebuilding, Knuckles remained the guardian of the Master Emerald after selling Azure Island to "Douche-bag Industries".

For now, everything was peaceful.

Even Eggman agreed to help in rebuilding the cities, however he had a plan to take it over once it was finished. Sonic and his friends stopped him once more, like they always do.

The one that didn't get to see Mobotropolis being rebuilt was Vicious the Cykresian, at least he wasn't there in his physical form. By the time the city was being rebuilt he was already in the afterlife with his family. He gave his life to stop his evil side from causing any further casualties, that evil side of him was named Cykreeus. He was created by Vic's previous transformations, every time Vic transformed he let his anger get the better of him. Over time, that anger just grew in Vic's sub-consciousness until Skez brought it out while Vic was unconscious, Skez wanted a partnership with Cykreeus however it backfired on him as Cykreeus killed him with a huge energy fireball.

Cykreeus was not finished there however, he had even further ambitions. Primarily, he wanted to kill his good counterpart, first he killed his entire family one by one in order to make him suffer. As Vic was the only Cykresian left after that incident he had lost his will to fight, with some encouragement from John The Baratrian, Emily in her angel form and later on his entire family, Vic regained his will to kill Cykreeus. He wasn't alone however, Kurai was there to help him against Cykreeus and his partner Raizio, what made Vic's mission even harder however was the Hypersphere that was poisoning him every time his power went from medium to high rates. Emily had the power to hold off the Hypersphere but she could do that only temporarily so Vic had to hurry and seal Cykreeus again, with the help of Kurai however Vic didn't have to worry about the Hypersphere anymore.

In the end, Cykreeus managed to activate the Hypersphere once again and tried to escape from Vic, Vic was quick to prevent him and after a short fight banish him to the depths of hell with the 7 souls of his family. Hypersphere took over and destroyed his heart, causing the death of the Cykresian warrior, however Vic was happy, now he could spend the rest of his afterlife with his family.

Knight, the master of Chaos had another plan, while he was on the graveyard he was thinking of bringing not only Vic and his family but the entire Cykresian race. Chronos was quick to notice and thought it was the best they remained that way, since Knight didn't read his thoughts he decided to turn his idea into reality, but not right then.

He waited for Mobius to be finally rebuilt after several years of hard work done by its residents, he wasn't going to revive the entire race only for them to serve as workers. No, he wanted the Cykresian race to enjoy peace in the real world just like they enjoy it in the afterlife, they truly deserved it.

After he heard the cities were rebuilt, he contacted Knuckles and told him to meet him on the Angel Island. After a long conversation Knuckles ultimately agreed with Knight, not only because he wanted to bring his friend Vicious back but Mobius would benefit greatly if another race joined forces with them. It wouldn't be just any race either, he read many things about Cykresians, they were powerful warriors who defended their home planet with everything they had. However, when Mac and the Trolls came to their planet they proved too powerful for Cykresians to handle. It resulted in most of the Cykresian race to be destroyed with only Vicious and his family to survive, Mac, the King Of Trolls almost killed them as well. Vic was a child when that happened so he couldn't fight back.

13 years later, Vic became a powerful Cykresian warrior who had a mission to destroy every last Troll. In the end he managed to kill Mac and almost every Troll there was, except one.

Emily was originally a Cykresian that was taken and got her DNA corrupted by Mac, the Trolls killed her entire family before taking her with them. They saw her DNA as useful for their army, she was turned into a Trollhog and had worked for Mac before Vic killed him. After a certain incident that happened between Vic and Emily on Troll's battleship, Emily had another task aside from destroying Vic.

She was pregnant with his children, she had to get to the hospital as soon as possible

Their first encounter was hostile and harsh, after Vic found out she was carrying his children he approached her again and decided to walk her to the hospital in order to talk to her. Emily suddenly stopped and asked Vic if he could raise the kids with her, even though she hurt him and even though she was still with Mac, Vic looked past it and accepted her request. Emily was surprised he actually agreed, his kindness made Emily betray Mac and more importantly, she fell in love with Vic.

Her pregnancy was sped up by Trolleshi so she had to be rushed to a hospital, there she gave birth to twins, Vic and Emily named them Cassandra and Tia. They were half-Cykresians half-Trolls, Trolleshi kidnapped them and aged them up. In the end Vic beat Trolleshi and his daughters were now 14 years old each, everything went fine until Eggman turned them back to babies.

Everyone knew what happened after that, that is the main reason Knight and Knuckles were having a discussion.

Knuckles agreed and decided to prepare the ritual, after everything was completed he began:

"The servants are the seven chaos"

"Chaos is power enriched by the heart"

"The controller is the one that unifies the chaos"

"Master Emerald, bring the fallen Cykresian race back to life!"

The Master Emerald, along with the 7 Chaos Emeralds began glowing each with their own color

Meanwhile in the afterlife, Vic was with his family, he didn't have to fight anymore and he was the happiest he could be. Kurai's world was truly beautiful, for Vic and his race it was heaven, there were floating islands, clouds, birds, it was always sunny and it was just wonderful. Every resident of that world had wings and a halo, since their souls were crossed they became angels. Vic was glad he could share the joy with his family, after everything they went through they truly deserved it.

He was very happy to see his race again, as the strongest among them he was crowned as their king, Vic was very surprised they offered him such a position. He hesitated at first but with some encouragement from Emily he accepted their proposal, he became a king while Emily became a queen, their daughters became princesses and were dedicated in leading their people.

Emily also met her family again, she was very happy to see her parents once again.

She learned from them that her real name was actually Lucia, she remembered Joineth once said that she went by a different name back then. Emily was just a name Mac gave her after turning her into a Trollhog, however, there was a person from her family that for some reason, wasn't there.

She remembered she had an older brother before Mac came to her planet, they were very close, his name was Edward and he was a red Cykresian with orange spirally eyes. She remembered Mac killed her parents in front of her eyes before taking her with him, her brother was out of the village at the time the attack happened, she was 7 years old while he was 12. Her brother felt something was wrong so he hurried back to the village, he found his parents dead with blood splattered on the floor and walls. He immediately searched for Emily but wasn't able to find her, he ran out and started searching for her all over the village. As he went he was horrified to realize that Trolls killed not only his parents but all the residents as well, he ran out of the village and spotted Mac and his men. Mac was holding Lucia who was protesting with all her strength, however Mac was strong enough to resist.

Her brother, in a fit of rage attacked Mac but was beaten down rather brutally by his men, before they could kill him Mac ordered them to stop. He lifted Edward up by his neck and told him while he would not kill him, he wouldn't remember anything. Before Edward could protest Mac placed his palm on his forehead and his palm started emitting a green aura around it, it lasted for 5 seconds before Edward's eyes suddenly rolled to the back of his head and he blacked out. As soon as that happened Mac dropped him and he fell on the ground, he just laid there unconscious. One of the men asked Mac what did he do and Mac told him he erased his memory.

Seeing what happened to her brother, Emily started screaming his name at the top of her lungs. Protesting even harder until one of Mac's men that held her gave her a chop to the side of her neck, knocking her out cold.

After that Mac took her brother and put him in a separate spaceship which coordinates were set to planet Arnia, it was a planet not too far from planet Cykrease. The main difference between Cykrease and Arnia was that Arnia was a planet with harsh living conditions, while Mac and his Trolls did kill most of the Cykresians he didn't see his DNA a useful as his sister's so he decided to let him live on purpose.

He planned for Edward to become his only Cykresian servant in the future, he would keep him in that form as a trophy.

Lucia (Emily) was shocked to remember all that, she came to a conclusion that if her brother wasn't there he was still alive on that planet. That realization made tears come down her face, she regretted she wasn't able to find him while she was alive. She was just too busy with everything that was going on in the past, after introducing her husband to her parents they thanked Vic for caring about her, Emily's father even commented that she could be quite a handful at times. Vic denied it although it was clear that he subconsciously agreed with him, Emily didn't notice that.

Even though she found out about her birth name she asked her family to still call her Emily, in her words she got used to it. She thinks it's too late to change it now, surprisingly to her, they honored her wish

After that she told Vic everything about her past, she told him how Mac killed her parents and how she has an older brother that is still alive. After hearing all that happened Vic couldn't help but sympathize with his wife, he wrapped his hands around her and after a few seconds his lips made contact with hers. After 5 seconds of their deep kiss he told her not to worry, that he was there for her no matter what. He even made a joke that no one lives forever, which actually made Emily feel better as she realized she would see her brother again one day.

It was another day in the afterlife for the Cykresians, Vic was watching over Mobius and was pleased to see its development. It felt like yesterday since he fought his evil side, his wife was quick to join him.

"Hey honey, watching them as usual?"

"Oh, hey Emi-, Lucia. Sorry, I just can't get used to it" Vic said as he chuckled

"It's okay honey, please call me Emily. Even though Mac named me like that I think it's too late to change it now, I would like it to remain that way" Emily said

"Still, I don't want to call my wife by the name that bastard set. If you insist then I will still call you Emily"

"Well, I don't really mind either way" Emily responded

"Anyway, how are the kids?" Vic asked

"They are playing with my parents, they really seem to have taken a liking to them"

"Well, they are their grandparents after all"

"Honestly, ever since we got here it is just perfect. No one is bothering us, we don't have any enemies, it truly is paradise!" Vic added

"Although, I still kinda miss Mobius, my friends as well. I wish I could have seen them one last time, I'm not saying I don't like it here. I love it, but still, it got kinda boring…"

Emily actually agreed with that last line, even though everything was peaceful in the afterlife all the fighting she went through actually made her feel alive. She also got bored here, while she did reunite with her people she still missed Mobius just like her husband.

"But I guess we can't go back now, can we?" Vic said

"Yeah…at least we get to enjoy peace and quiet"

After they said that suddenly a green light started emitting from them, it covered the entirety of their bodies.

"What's going on?" Emily asked

"I don't know"

Before they said anything else their whole world suddenly turned white, after a few seconds it faded to black.

Vic opened his eyes slowly, since the sunlight was striking right in his eyes, he turned his body to the side and managed to stand up. He looked around himself only to see a valley around him, the weather was sunny, birds were chirping and the green field around him made everything even more beautiful.

"Is this still the afterlife?" Vic wondered as he began to walk around

After a few minutes of walking he came across a lake, he went near it and saw his reflection, after seeing it however a certain fact left him in utter shock

He no longer had wings or a halo, that could mean only one thing

"Am I…alive?" Vic wondered

He wanted to be sure so he charged a small energy ball in his palm and shot it towards a rock, the rock exploded as the ball made contact with it. All that was left was a small burned area

Vic was sure of it now

"Oh my god…I'm actually alive!" Vic's eyes went wide with excitement

"But…how?" His face changed to a confused expression

"Am I the only one who was revived? I remember Lucia glowing with the same green light I did, did it happen to all the Cykresians as well?" He wondered once again

Before he could think about anything else he saw someone approaching him, he immediately stood in guard

"There you are, don't worry, I'm not here to fight"

Vic immediately recognized that voice

"Knight?"

Their conversation will have to wait until the next chapter, since I don't want to spoil too much.

The reason I decided to write this in the first place was because, as I said in the summary, the series were amazing. I was really disappointed to find out it ended the way it did, so I decided to make a fan sequel. Before that however I had to retell the entire story, which is what I did in this chapter. The way you tell the story is equally important as the story itself, I would like some feedback from you guys. Feel free to leave any suggestions about the plot for the future chapters. I'm open to any kind of ideas for the story.
