to be back in your arms
to hear your angel's voice
to realize your charms.
What I wouldn't do
to hear you call my name
to close my eyes and sacrifice
to hear them put to shame.
What I wouldn't do
to see your handsome face
to see you smile and grin at me
a frown seeming out of place.
What I wouldn't do
to sit by you again
to blush and be shy
thinking love is 'round the bend.
And what I wouldn't do
to find your angel's soul
but I am here and all alone
I am taking the toll
They say in love there is a catch
that two must sacrifice
to be together forever and ever
..but it's a very big price.
It's to let you loved one go
and see if they come back.
And if they do, they belong to you,
and that's the heartless knack.
