Hey everyone, it's me, here with a new fanfic that had crossed my mind as usual.
I don't own anything related to Transformers: Beast Wars or Monster Hunter except my own characters and creation.
And I plan to add my own characters along with the Predacons and Maximals in this story over time. I just have so many ideas and names, that the only problem is what faction would they belong to.
Space...
Space was always quiet even above the planet of Chikyū along with it's two moons, but today that peace had disappeared, as space itself was rippling, and from the ripple there was a large flash and out came two spaceships firing on one another.
The first looked like the top of a trident with the front had a small head with two fangs-like-fins pointing to it. The back had two fins coming from the side that went far behind the ship and the small head from the front continued to near the end of the fins. This is the Darksyde.
The other ship that was chasing the first ship was lighter in color, with white, dark greys and some red decals. It shape looked reminiscent of a gourd. On the front bottom of the ship was manny segmented pannels. There was several guns sitting out on the starboard of the ship. This is the Axalon.
Inside the pursuing ship, each sitting on a chair operating certain parts of the ships were 4 beings. One was blue and white, one was orange and silver, one was green and bronze yellow, and the last one was yellow and blue.
"Hull breach in Sector Seven! The Guidance Systems are failing!" The yellow and blue bot told the crew that they lost their Guidance Systems.
"Aw man... dis is ridiculous! This hunk of junk is suppose to be an exploration ship, not a fragging battle cruiser!" The orange and silver bot said with a Brooklyn accent. He tried to control the ship as best he possibly could.
Meanwhile, in the centre of the control room of the Axalon, the captain of the ship spoke to the orange and silver bot about why they choose this exploration ship and not a battle cruiser.
"No choice. Our ship was the only one that could lock onto Megatron's wrap signature." The captain said, while the ship rocked back and forth from the battle.
Meanwhile, the youngest member, the yellow and blue bot, had more bad news to give his fellow crew members aboard the Axalon.
"Shields are doing a major fade!" The yellow and blue bot said as the screen in front of him was flashing red with a picture of the ship on.
"Setting Plasma Cannons to full power!" The blue and grey bot ordered the green and bronze yellow bot, who pulled a lever which set the Plasma Cannons.
Meanwhile on the Darksyde...
Inside the Darksyde, there sat 6 bots inside each a different color and design. The biggest one was black and purple, one was scarlet red and grey, one was purple and red, one was green and yellow, one was just red and yellow, and the last one was orange and blue.
"Their Shields are down! Destroy them!" The orange and blue bot said.
"Now where's the fun in that? A little torment I think first, Yesss? Side Guns!" The Big Black and Purple one spoke with a deep menacing voice.
The Axalon moved to the right side of the Darksyde, which was a bad move on both parties side. The Darksyde fired it's side guns at the Axalon destroying much of the left side of the Axalon.
Axalon...
"AAAAAHHH!! Rupture! The stasis hold is failing!" The yellow and Blue bot said.
"Uugh! We're going down." The Green and Bronze Yellow Bot groaned.
The Captain Bot then thought about their situation and then made the call to his crew mates.
"Launch all pods! Get them into safe orbit!" The Captain ordered them to send the pods into orbit for their safety as they would crash land on the planet.
Outside the Axalon...
The back door to the Axalon opened and all the pods with the crew members inside started to be launched out of the ship for their safety as the ship was going to crash land on the planet, sending them all over the planet.
"All Plasma Cannons. FIRE!" The Captain ordered, if they were going down, they will not let the crew of the Darksyde escape either.
The Plasma Cannos at the front of the ship started to fire at rapid speed as the Axalon spun around with no control, thankfully and unfortunately the Darksyde was right in front of the Axalon, attempting to finish the it's crew members off when the Axalon's Plasma Cannons struck the Darksyde, and causing it to crash onto the planet below with the Axalon.
The two started to build up heat as the two spaceships entered the planet's atmosphere, with a wing from the Darksyde tearing off as it and the Axalon fell towards the planet.
The inhabitants of Chikyū were about to be in for a big surprise and see that there was going to be more than meets the eye.
Chikyū, Somewhere...
A door opens as someone walks through and into a tavern, there are a lot of people seen wearing armor of varying styles and designs. We see two Felyne's having drinks with one another.
The camera turns around and we see our first human face. He is a 17 year old teenage boy that appears to be 5' 74" feet tall. He has a somewhat lanky, yet muscular build to himself. He had blue hair that goes up in an upwards spike and the tips were dyed red. And his eyes are a calming green, like the ones you could never be mistaken to trust. He is seen wearing basic leather clothing. His go-to weapon is the SnS, or Sword and Shield.
This is Jaycee. One of the many new Hunters that have joined to make a new adventure in the New World.
Jaycee looks around for a table or even someone to talk to but he notices that many are either talking to one another or are prepping their Hunting gears for the New World.
He then notices a Felyne cook carrying an order for someone to a table of people that are eating their orders.
Jaycee then spots an empty table and makes his way over and takes a seat. The only one there was just a girl reading from a book. So, wanting to strike a conversation with her, he opens his mouth, but before he could utter a word-
"Yo, Jay! Did ya here? We're almost there!" A voice happily said. Jaycee eyebrows drop as he knows that voice, it's his friend, Aiden.
Aiden has orange hair that is shaved at both sides, he wears rare Alpha Armor from the Chainmail sets. Contrary to his appearance Aiden has a voracious appetite for knowledge. But he's also the kind of person who gets carried away easily. He's very good at gathering materials and is blessed with good luck by Mother Nature herself. He wields a one-handed sword as his go-to weapon.
"You ready to grab this new world by the horns?" Aiden asked his best friend.
"You know it." Jaycee said, his voice gave off an aura of confidence and excitement.
"I don't know about you, but it feels like ages since I left home to join the commission." Aiden said reminiscing about his home.
"Yeah, I miss my folks back home too, Aiden." Jaycee agreed with his friend and he too missed his parents as well ever since he left to the New World.
"So, nervous?" Aiden asked his friend with a raised eyebrow.
"Me? Are you kidding, Aiden. I'm petrified!" Jaycee joked the two friends laughed at the formers joke.
"But seriously, Aiden. I'm kinda nervous. Anything could happen to us, but that's just the-" Jaycee spoke when he was then suddenly interrupted.
"Yup. Hey, aren't you one of the A-List hunters? I'm Erica." The girl, now known as Erica, introduced herself.
She is seen standard handler gear but with her own twist. She has black wavy hair. The scarf around her neck makes her fashionable impression side stand out. The insect cage for Scoutflies, which handlers carry around, is a compact type, and her expedition data is attached to her belt.
"Oh, sorry. Was I interrupting you guys?" Erica asked Jaycee and Aiden worried that she interrupted them.
"Uh, No, You're good." Jaycee says to Erica with a warm smile.
"And to answer you're question, yes we are." Jaycee said. "I'm Jaycee, that's Aiden." He introduced himself and his friend.
"Glad to meet you." Erica said as she grabs a mug and hands it over to Jaycee. "So, how about a toast?" She said with a warm smile.
"Yes, let us toast!" Jaycee said as he took the mug as Erica grabbed herself another one for herself.
Jaycee then raised him mug into the air, then Aiden, and finally Erica. Just then, a an orange Felyne appeared holding in it's paws was a mug of it's own. This is Jaycee's Felyne, Puss.
"To the A-List! And the commission! But most importantly, to the New World!" Jaycee cheered as he raised his mug higher before downing his beverage.
"To the New World!" Erica and Aiden cheered as they both downed their mugs.
"To the Neow World, Meowster!" Puss spoke in an adorable cat-like tone as he took little cat-like licks out of his mug.
The three humans and Felyne enjoyed each other's company as they awaited to arrive to the New World. They even started to come up with theory's about why the Elder Dragons were migrating to the New World.
Just then, someone carrying a mid-large plate of food walked out and towards Jaycee's table. She wore the same Handler armor as Erica, but her's was more subtle. The back of her brown hair was tied up into a bunny tail-like ponytail. This was a childhood friend of Jaycee and his teammate, Makoto.
Aiden then took a sip out of his mug. And spoke to Erica and Jaycee. "I mean, after running the Research Commission for forty-odd years, the guild is itching for an answer."
"They say that the Fifth Fleet has the best shot at cracking this case, and I agree!" Aiden happily said.
"Hey, aren't A-Listers suppose to operate in teams of two?" Erica asked Jaycee.
"Yep, and she's sitting right there. Her name's Makoto." Jaycee said pointing at Makoto. Erica looks at Makoto with curiosity.
Makoto then gets out of her chair all of a sudden and rushes to a window with her goggles over her eyes as she studies the waves and clouds. Jaycee then walks over to Makoto's side.
"Listen to that." Makoto said, Jaycee then looks out the window with Makoto. "Getting rough out there... the waves are picking up. And that's gotta mean landfall."
Makoto then turns to look at Jaycee with a happy smile on her face.
"How's it feel to be on the A-List, Jay?" Makoto asked Jaycee with a smile on her face.
"Nhey! What about meow?" Puss asked with an adorable huff.
"Well Meowdy-do to you, Puss." Makoto greets Puss with a smile.
Suddenly the boats rocks violently as something had just struck their ships. Makoto and Jaycee quickly go outside to check it out. They make their way up the stairs and outside to the upper decks. Where rain has started to heavily downpour on the ship.
Rising up from beneath the boat, was a giant of a Monster, it stood at a height of 825. 27 feet. And it looked like if Gamera and an active Volcano had a baby. It's skin was covered in a rocky hide. It has turtle-like characteristics, bearing a mountainous shell on its back that it can retreat under while walking on all fours, as well as a beaked mouth. Fire, smoke, and lava constantly radiate from the creature's shell, making it more akin to a walking volcano than a typical creature. This is the Scorching Mountain Dragon, Zorah Magdaros.
Everyone held on as Zorah rose out of the oceans depths, like an ancient Kaiju Monster bent on seeking destruction.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, Makoto rushes towards the Living Volcano to get a better look at it. Jaycee quickly notices this and he and Puss tries to stop her.
"Makoto! Stop! Don't!" Jaycee yells out trying to stop her from doing something crazy.
As everyone held on for their life's as the Zorah Magdaros carried them upon it's lower back. Jaycee and Puss held onto the railings of the boat as Makoto held onto a wooden as Zorah rose up higher and higher.
"Makoto! Grab my hand!" Jaycee tells to to grab his hand.
But as he tries to get closer to her, his grip slips and he slides down the boat, he quickly grabs onto the trap door and hangs on for his life.
Puss is then knocked away from his partner by a gourd.
"PUSS!" Jaycee screamed out his Felyne's name, worried for his pal's safety.
Just then, Makoto and Jaycee's grips slip and the two begins to slide down the ship, they hit a bump on Zorah's back causing both Jaycee and Makoto to fall off the ship and onto the back of Zorah Magdaros.
A Little While Later...
Jaycee felt someone shake his body, like they were trying to get them up, it didn't help that they also heard the faint sound of their name being spoken.
"jay... Jay... JAY! Wake up!" Makoto shouted as she tried to get Jaycee to wake up. He opened his eyes as he woke up.
"M-Makoto? Where are we?" Jaycee questioned.
"We're on the back of Zorah Magdaros!" Makoto said as she picked Jaycee up and pulled his arm to get him moving.
"We're what?!" Jaycee shouted, now fully awake.
Makoto and Jaycee then noticed that their ship was now stuck in-between two mountains on Zorah Magdaros' back.
"Look at what happened to the ship! We have to do something!" Makoto said as she looked at their ship in awe and terror.
"We'll can worry about or ship later, right now it's not safe here, so let's get off of this Monster!" Jaycee said as he took Makoto's hand and the two started to run, leaving their ship behind.
Just then, they felt a shake happen as the two looked back up and saw that their ship was starting to get loose and had started to slide off the Living Volcano Monster's back and onto sea.
"Now how are we going to get back on our boat?" Makoto asked with worry.
Jaycee quickly noticed large flocks of Wingdrakes soaring above him and gets an idea.
"Come with me, Makoto, I have an idea!" Jaycee said as he took her hand and started to run again, this time to the top of Zorah's head.
Boulders then started to fall off the sides of Zorah as the two made their way to the top of Zorah's head. Zorah then started to rise higher and higher, forcing the two humans on his back to climb up the Volcanic Kaiju. The two had to avoid falling boulders and geysers of lava as they climbed up the giant Elder Dragon's back.
The two then reached the top of Zorah's head as the many Wingdrakes there started to peck at the two humans.
Jaycee and Makoto rushed past them as Zorah raised itself higher and higher once again, forcing the two to once again climb up his back.
"Now what?" Makoto asked as she looked down at the sea which was very far away.
"We're going to hitch a ride!" Jaycee said with a smile as he grabbed Makoto's hand once again and the two slid down Zorah's face reaching the tip of his nose, the two then jumped off of Zorah, just then Jaycee turned around and fired a hook at one of the Wingdrakes talons, Jaycee then caught Makoto with his other arm.
The Wingdrake, trying to accommodate the sudden extra weight, tried it's best to keep on flying with the two humans hanging on it's talon. But soon enough, it, Jaycee, and Makoto were face to face with Zorah Magdaros. The Wingdrake flew through the mouth of Zorah as it was about to close it's jaws on them.
Jaycee and Makoto looked ahead and saw something that nearly brought tears to their eyes. It was the New World. In front of them stood a large jungle-like forest full of tress with a humongous one right smack dab in the middle.
"The New World..." Jaycee and Makoto said at the same time in awe at the beauty of this new world.
Just then, the Hunters, Palicoes, and Handlers on the boat, and the Monsters at the sea and on the New World, as well as Jaycee and Makoto heard the sound of two very loud sonic booms coming from the sky above. Everyone and creature all looked up at the sky and saw two giant balls of fire soaring thru the morning sky and were heading straight for the New World, but the second one was going much farther than the first one which was about to crash land in a forest.
"What was that?" Makoto asked Jaycee as they watched the two giant balls of fire soar through the night sky.
The two hanged onto each other as their Wingdrake took them towards the New World. The two, unaware that their lives will soon change forever.
But first, the two had better watch out for those trees that they were about to fly into.
Axalon, Ancient Forest...
We arrive at the Axalon (one of the ships that fell the night before), one could see that the ship was probably never going to fly again because it was caught between four trees and was over a river with two gorgeous waterfalls. The only reason the ship hadn't fallen in, was because of a rock ledge keeping the front ship up and stable, making sure that it doesn't fall and destroy itself some more.
"Damage report." The Blue and White Captain Bot requested as he and the others woke up from their crash.
"Believe me, you DON'T want to know." The Yellow and Blue bot replied.
"That's what I thought." Was all that The Axalon Captain said with a sigh.
Darksyde, Elder's Recess...
Meanwhile, over at the Darksyde, its own crew weren't doing any better like their pursuers. The ship had crashed landed in the middle of a lava field and in the middle of the ship with it's remaining wing being stuck inside a crystal pillar going straight through it. In the end, this ship was never going to be able to fly again.
"Navigation, is this the right planet?" The Darksyde Captain questioned the computer system terminal that was in front of him as he sat alone in a room.
"Unknown. Course settings were accurate, but readings are inconsistent for the intended destination." The Computer told the Captain, who wasn't happy in the slightest.
"Never mind that! Tell me that there is Energon here?" The Darksyde Captain ordered the computer.
"Confirmed." The Computer confirmed The Captain's order.
"Yesss! The planet has Energon!" The Big Black and Purple bot spoke glad that this planet has Energon. This trip may not be a total disaster after all.
"Too much Energon. Field readings are off the scale. Continued exposure to robotic forms will result in permanent damage." The computer warned him.
"Hmm, then we must create alternate forms based on the most powerful local creatures in the area." The Big Black and Purple Bot said, he was still mad that they had to go through all this trouble.
"Scanners, hehehe, activated! Hehehe!" The Purple and Green bot laughed as he activated the scanner probe.
Outside the ship, The Darksyde then launched a probe out the top of itself and started to scan the local wildlife with six purple lights, and boy was there a diverse amount in the area. Ranging from a giant menacing green T-Rex with teeth running down it's jaws towards it's tail, A crazy-looking Pterosaur with an Axe-like crest was seen flying through the sky, a Scorpion with crystals growing out of it's pincers and stinger, a Giant Spider with a massive purple spikes coming out of it's thorax fighting against a giant Mantis-like insect with a large canopy covering the back of it's head, and finally a pack of 3 blue Velociraptor-like creatures with yellow beaks and red crests on their head, with the middle one being the biggest of the three.
The probe then stopped scanning the wildlife and went back inside the Darksyde to start assigning alternate modes to survive the planet's high levels of Energon.
Axalon, Ancient Forest...
Outside the Axalon, it's crew were doing the same thing as four orange lights shot out the ship. Just like Darksyde, it too scanned a variety of different local wildlife, One was a Gorilla-like creature with large ox-like horns, ears, and tail, another was a large blue and yellow Wolf-like creature with large horns, arriving just from the Wildspire Waste and into the Forest was a large brown and orange Dinosaur-like creature with a bulldozer-like crown filled with nostrils holes at the top of it's head, and the last one was a small pack of black and white creatures that they to be a cross between a wolf and a honey badger, that had come all the way down from Hoarfrost Reach to look for any new food sources to scavenge.
The probes then stopped scanning the wildlife of the Ancient Forest and went back inside the Axalon.
"Scanning and replication of local life forms complete. You may now emerge." The Axalon scanner informed the 4 bots.
Waking up with a stretch and letting out a wolf-like monstrous growl, was a medium-to-large sized, quadrupedal wolf-like creature that has long claws and white fur covering its body and bluish-green scales. It's horns, lower jaw, front arms, back legs, the sides of it's neck and the side of it's stomach leading to it's tail were covered in spiky yellow rock-like scales.
"H-Hey! Look at me, I'm a Monster Hound." The Yellow and Blue Bot said with a grin, as he looked at his new form in a reflective chamber.
Then Axalon's Computer need to life, grabbing the Yellow and Blue boy's attention he looked and was informed on what Species the bot had now taken. Turns out he is what was called a Zinogre.
"A Zinogre? Is that what I am? No, No, I'm... ZINOGTOR!" The Young crew member, now known as Zinogtor, declared his new name.
"Hmmm, Interesting." The Captain said with interest inside his Chamber.
"Interesting?" Zinogtor said with a growl that lead to a howl. "Optimus the word is spot-on smooth! It's a crime!" He said as he looked at himself and laughed.
Then from behind a chamber came a giant grey and white creature resembling a combination of a wolf and honey badger creature he looked at Zinogtor's new form which wasn't subtle at all.
"Eeeh, a bit tacky, heh, you never had taste did you, kid. Now this, this is what class is all about. Call me, Wulgtrap" The Orange and Silver bot now dubbed as, Wulgtrap, said as he walks over to Zinogtor and presented himself to the young member. His Beast Mode was a creature called Wulg, a small creature that looked to be a cross between a Wolf and a Honey Badger-like creature, but his Beast Mode made his size to be more Human-sized instead of the Wulg's natural size and he wasn't black and white, but instead grey and white.
"O-yeah how about, I cut meeces to pieces?" Zinogtor growled as he got ready to pounce, but a loud stomping sound stopped him as a large, 3-clawed, bipedal dinosaur with a large stoney bulldozer-like crown on the top of his head filled with nostrils walked over to them.
"Ease back, Zinogtor. Living large is for bots like me, Barronox." Barronox, the green and yellow bot, said with a growl at Wulgtrap. His Beast Mode was a Creature called a Barroth, a Dinosaur-like creature with a bulldozer-like crown on the top of it's head that houses it's nostrils and cools off in the mud.
"Yeah, yeah and just consider yourself lucky I'd didn't get roughs on yas." Wulgtrap said, trying to act tough. Then another door to a chamber opened up before Zinogtor, Wulgtrap, and Barronox, revealing the Leader of the Maximals himself, Optimus Primal.
"Moderate your conflict circuits, Maximals." Optimus Primal said. He was now a Large blackish-silver grey Gorilla-like beast with a pair of large ox-like horns on the sides of his head, he also had ox-like ears under his horns, and an ox-like tail swung behind him and a large amount of hair decorated the back of his neck, back, and arms. His Beast Mode is a creature called a Rajang.
"Remember, these new Beast Modes of ours are to help protect us from the long term effects of the Energon Fields out there." Optimus said, inspecting his new form as he walked out of his chamber.
"We may need energon for Power, but this is too much of a good thing." Optimus said, talking about the high levels of Energon, as he walked over to the window as his team watched him. "Our robot forms will start to short after a few minutes exposure and let's not forget these strange creatures we scanned there may be more like them. This is one unusual planet, wherever it is."
"Or Whenever." Barronox said as the others looked at him for an answer. "The trans-wrap drive can go through space and time. We were locked onto Megatron's trans-wrap signature, so we could be at anyplace, anytime." Barronox tells Optimus as he looked at him with worry.
"Yes, and the rest of our Crew are still orbiting this planet in those stasis pods we lost in battle. There protected from the Energon Radiation for now, but this means that Megatron has us outnumbered." Optimus said with a grim look.
The Maximals were now not only far away from Cybertron, but also they didn't even know what time they had arrived in at all.
Darksyde, Elder's Recess...
Meanwhile back at the Darksyde, all the Predacons were outside testing out their new Beast Modes as well as exploring the area. While the others were looking around, an unnaturally large tan and brown striped velociraptor with a red crest, 7 clawed fingers, a yellow beak, and it's sickle toe claw was red at the tip, walked out of the ship holding a Golden Disk in its claws.
"No, No, No! It's all wrong, this cannot be Earth!" The tan and brown striped Velociraptor-like creature growled. He turned around to look inside the ship.
"Megatron, you failed! Not only did you FAIL to destroy the Maximals when you had the chance, you FAILED to bring us to the right PLANET. We stole the Golden Disk for nothing, you idiot!" The Velociraptor-like creature yelled as it throws the Golden Disk inside the ship in rage.
Soon, the sounds of heavy and powerful footsteps rung out of the ship, a massive Tyrannosaurus Rex-like dinosaur walked out of the Darksyde. He was a greenish-purple color with red eyes that could make hell look like heaven. His thighs were very large and muscular, looking to be capable of destroying trees with no sweat. His jaw was filled to the brim with teeth that they went past both his upper lips and his lower jaw. In total, it looked like a T-Rex from the Pit. This was the Leader of the Predacons, Megatron. His Beast Mode was something called a Deviljho, a creature capable of destroying the ecosystem by just existing, a perfect form for the Predacon Leader.
"I beg you're pardon. What did you call me?" Megatron questioned his subordinate in a dangerous undertone.
"You heard me. You are an idiot and an incompetent leader. And I - am taking over! Velocibot, TERRORIZE!" The unnaturally large tan and brown Velociraptor-like creature screeched as he transformed.
His legs transformed to become his arms, each with 2 claws on top and the sickle claw as the thumb. His raptor head folds down to become his chest plate. His legs folded out of his chest, then he stood up on his robot legs he grabs his tail off with his velociraptor-like legs and the tail splits in two to become a rotating shield with a rotating pinkish-silver sword inside. His head was a metallic blue color with a copper orange helmet, his optics were red, he had very sharp rows of teeth, and at the top of his head was a red crest. This is Velocibot, his Beast Mode is a creature called a Velocidrome, a larger variant of a creature known as a Velociprey. His Predacon Symbol was located on his forehead.
"I challenge you, Megatron! The winner shall lead the Predacons - and the loser shall be destroyed!" Velocibot harkened in a challenging manner to his leader.
"Aw, You're so impulsive, Velocibot. Brave, but misguided." Megatron taunted the Velocidrome Predacon, the latter growled at Megatron's taunt.
"Do you accept my challenge!" Velocibot asked Megatron with a growl.
"There is more to being a leader than simply courage. There's also cleverness and cunningness as well." Megatron said as Velocibot was slowly sneaking up behind him, cause he knew that Megatron would never let his guard down so easily.
"Wouldn't you agree, Akuranok?" Megatron asked as a large robot with scorpion-like features that had crystals on his stinger and the back of his claws stood next to his leader.
Akuranok then fired a missile at Velocibot, but instead of exploding it instead sent him flying far away from both Darksyde and the Elder's Recess.
"Loser. What does it matter which planet were on? We came looking for Energon, and this planet is RICH with the element! There is more than enough Energon to power the Predacons entire galactic conquest. Now only the Maximals could give us problems now, if they survived the crash." Megatron said as he walked out of the ship. Soon all his loyal men were in front of him.
"Find them!" Megatron told his soldiers to find the Maximals. "And if you do... destroy them!"
The other Predacons fanned out and started to look for the Maximals so that they could destroy them all before they could even ruin their plans for this planet.
Axalon, Ancient Forest...
Back at the Axalon ship, the Maximals were seen dealing with the damages to their ship and clearing out any junk that was no longer useful to them. Optimus and Barronox where outside looking at the broken pieces seeing what could be salvaged and what was just junk. Soon a hatch opened from the ship and lowered a platform that had Wulgtrap on it who was carrying more junk from inside the ship.
"Frag! All this fer a Golden Disk." Wulgtrap whined as he tossed more junk with the rest of the other junk. Meanwhile, Optimus was surveying the land before addressing Wulgtrap.
"It was Cybertron's most carefully guarded relic, Wulgtrap. It gave the location of a major energon source. That's why Megatron stole it." Optimus explained why they were chasing after Megatron.
"Yeah, like I care! Ya know, we were supposed t' be doin' deep space exploration. Playin' Galactic Patrol wasn't no where in my job description. You know what I'm sayin'?" Wulgtrap asked their Leader. "You sure yer cut out for dis commander gig?" He asked as he leaned against the lift system that the platform uses.
"Ugh, Remember the Great War, Wulgtrap? If the Predacons get enough Energon they'll start it again! We can't let that happen!" Optimus said with determination in his voice.
"Besides, you wanted exploration and here we are on an unknown planet, what more do you want?" Optimus said trying to lighten the mood.
"Well call me picky, but a working scape craft would be nice." Wulgtrap said not pleased to be trapped on an alien planet.
"Just no pleasing some people." Optimus said as he shook his head at Wulgtrap.
Meanwhile, Zinogtor had come out of the ship using the other lift on the other side of the Axalon. And when he was near the ground he jumped out and walked over towards Optimus.
Zinogtor leapt down from the another hatch and called out to his fellow Maximals. "Hey, Check those guys out!"
Optimus Primal turned around and saw a pair of adult Zinogre's running through the forests, they seemed to be hunting. Nodding, impressed at the species that Zinogtor's Beast Mode was based on before them and their speed, then he said. "They're fast alright, you chose a good form, Zinogtor."
"If you think THAT'S speed, then you haven't seen The Golden Blue Rocket! Check this!" Zinogtor growled and burst into a very fast sprint that made him look like he was moving like a ball of lightning.
"Zinogtor, No! We still need to map out the area!" Optimus then called through their comlinks. "Zinogtor?! Please respond!" He ordered the young Maximal to respond like a very worried dad.
All he got in reply was static in response and so did Zinogtor on his end. Barronox then approached Optimus Primal.
"I'm afraid it's no good, Optimus. The Energon Fields on this planet are messing up the comlinks very bad. Anythin' over a hundred meters they ain't worth scrap." Barronox told Optimus Primal.
Sighing in annoyance, Optimus muttered. "Well that's just Prime…"
"So is dis your first time on de job?" Wulgtrap asked nonchalantly. He had obviously heard what was being said earlier.
"Shut up, Wulgtrap." Optimus ordered.
Wulgtrap stood up and feigned a mock salute but couldn't with his stubbly arms. "Oh, Yes sir! Okay? I just feel heaps bettuh knowin' dat our lives are in yer hands."
Chuckling sadly, Wulgtrap then slumped his shoulders and muttered. "We're all gonna die…"
Optimus rolled his eyes as he went back to work cleaning up the Axalon. He hoped that any other inhabitants won't freak out and attack them if any sentient life form saw them in these freakish beast modes.
Ancient Forest...
After Jaycee and Makoto had crashed into the trees and landed at a camp, they made their way out of the forest and into an opening.
The opening was filled to the brim with life, with a herd of Aponoth's and Kestodon's drinking from the river banks or the latter head butting each other for mates. Flocks of Mernos flew across the skies as some Mosswines grazed the few patches of grass in the area. Different variations of trees scattered the area loosely. A pathway could be seen that could lead deeper into the forest.
Just ahead of the clearing, Jaycee and Makoto could make out the form of the Research Commission Headquarters.
"Look! It's the Research Commission Headquarters!" Makoto said very excited to see the Research Commission HQ.
"All right!" Jaycee said happy to see the HQ.
The two made their way from the small camp and towards the Research Commission HQ. They walked through the peaceful herds of Aptonoth's just grazing along the patches of grass and getting something to drink.
The two made their way deeper into the jungle as they pushed through the vines blocking their path. Once they made it past the vines, they saw more area to explore with a large tree with two path ways leading to a higher section of the area.
The two dropped down a cliff as they marveled at the beauty of the forest. They were unaware that something was hiding in the bushes.
It then crawled out of the bush it was hiding in and stood face to face with Makoto. It's body shape is very wolf-like in nature, small and slim, it seemed their body's would allow them to move quickly and stand up right for short periods of time. It has light green scales with blue and reddish stripes covering their body, as well as a blue-colored underbelly. It's head, neck, and legs looked almost like that of an lizard. This is a Jagras, a smaller Fanged Wyvern variant that are related to a much bigger Monster variant.
Another Jagras quietly snuck behind the two as the one in front of Jaycee and Makoto was slowly creeping towards them. Two more Jagras climbed along the tree branch paths.
It the Jagras in front of Jaycee and Makoto then stood up on it's hind legs and let out a call, alerting it's fellow pack, as swarms of Jagras's started to climb down the trees and out of the bushes.
The Jagras's then surrounded the pair of A-Listers making sure that even if they tried to escape they couldn't.
The two then started to run away from the pack, intent on looking for a place to hide. They quickly spotted a bush big enough for them to hide in together as they crouched down inside the bush, soon enough the pack couldn't seem to find their prey and after a while, they left.
After the coast was clear, the two left the bush and started to make their way out of the forest and towards the Research Commission HQ.
The two then soon found some tracks. Jaycee's scout flies started to surround the tracks of whatever Monster made them.
Makoto then saw an old skid mark, whatever went through here was big and it was dragging something along with it. But as she was looking at the skidmarks, something was watching her.
It then made it's attack on Makoto as it leapt at her to attack.
The creature that attacked Makoto, resembled a massive Iguana. It has yellow scales with orange accents and a bluish underside, just like the pack of Jagras's. It also has a distinct mane of hairs that resemble dreadlocks. This is the Thief Wyvern, the Great Jagras.
It then pinned Makoto in it's claw, trapping her and making it impossible for her to escape.
"MAKOTO!" Jaycee yelled as he rushed over to help her.
Just then, someone jumped out of the bushes from a ledge and onto the back of the Great Jagras.
He wears some Commission Armor, but the mantle and shoulder armor were removed revealing his chest. And he wore the collar of his armor like a high collar. His hair is shaved at the sides and gives him the appearance of a wild man with a ponytail. He also had a Great Sword in his hands. He has blue eyes and a scar on his left cheek. This is the Field Team Leader, Mercer.
The Great Jagras tried to buck the small human off of it's back by ramming itself into a wooden blockage. But all that did was allow a more easier access towards the HQ and knock Mercer off. Makoto had already crawled her way out of the Great Jagras's path as soon as Mercer landed on the Monster's back.
"This way! Hurry!" Mercer tells Jaycee and Makoto to head this way. Makoto quickly ran towards the gate with Mercer right behind her.
"Go to the gate! Go! Go!" Mercer tells them to head towards the gate on the other side. The Great Jagras was quickly following behind them.
Jaycee quickly made his way towards the Gate as well, but once he has arrived he saw that the Monster was blocking his way into the HQ, with no other way inside.
Just then, like a miracle, something had jumped out of the jungle and stared at the Great Jagras, a look of hunger in it's eyes as it stared down the oversized Iguana.
Because standing between the gates and Jaycee, was a large more T-Rex-like Theropod, it has black and grey fur on its back which coupled with its flesh-toned scales, make it look similar to the archetypal image of a vulture. Its hide is primarily pink in color, while a dark pelt covers its back which ends in a ruff at the neck, leaving the head bald. Large fangs protrude from the monster's lower jaw, giving it the appearance of an under-bite. This was the Fierce Jaw Wyvern, Anjanath.
The Anjanath raised it's head before it struck down on the Great Jagras's neck, the two monsters fought it out as one tried to escape the T-Rex's mouth and the other trying to eat the giant Iguana.
Jaycee then rolled underneath as he now stood underneath the Anjanath's legs as it shook the body of the Great Jagras, trying to kill it so that it could eat it.
It's tail was about to hit Jaycee, but he jumped just in time into the HQ as Mercer cut the ropes that held the gate up behind him as the gates closed behind Jaycee.
"Let's get going!" Mercer tells Jaycee and Makoto as he ran towards the Research Commission HQ with the two A-Listers following behind him.
The Three Hunters quickly left to the HQ, but as they made their way to HQ, but Jaycee had wondered what was with those two fireballs in the sky this morning were all about.
With Zinogtor...
'You know, for an organic planet, this place sure is nice, The Pit, I might consider living here.' Zinogtor thought to himself as he chased after the two Zinogre's.
Zinogtor had soon finally caught up with the two Zinogre's. Once they were neck and neck as they ran through the forest, he spoke to them.
"Hey, there! Name's Zinogtor, how's it going you hound dogs?" Zinogtor introduced himself to the two Zinogre's.
Zinogtor's Beast Mode was just about half their size. As these Zinogre's were full-blown adults.
The two Electric Puppy Monsters looked at Zinogtor in surprised and fear as they ran faster, wanting to run away from the freaky talking Zinogre. Skidding to a halt, Zinogtor called out after them. "Wha—is it my breath or something? H-Hey, wait up!"
Zinogtor then quickly chased after the two fleeing adult Zinogre's that were terrified of one of their species speaking the Hunter's tongue.
Meanwhile with Jaycee, Puss, and Makoto, Ancient Forest...
After Jaycee, Makoto, and Mercer had made their way to the Research Commission Headquarters or as it's now known as, Astera. Jaycee was able to meet back up with Aiden, Erica, and his Felyne, Puss. The two A-Listers had met with The Commander, Chief Isamu, and the Core Team of Astera.
Jaycee, Makoto, and Puss were now out on a Quest in the Ancient Forest, they were tasked with hunting a Great Jagras that has been disturbing the ecosystem, though while Makoto didn't have any weapons on her person, she would provide moral support to Jaycee and Puss in their efforts.
After they had found the overgrown Iguana that could eat an Aptonoth whole, it ran off deeper into the Forest trying to get away and heal up it's injuries. Jaycee, Makoto, and Puss quickly followed it.
They then somehow lost track of a Monster called a Tobi-Kadachi, as Jaycee's scoutflies couldn't find any more tracks that the monster may have left behind.
They then heard the sound of bushes rustling right next to them, Jaycee and Puss took battle position as Makoto hid inside of a Bush.
Leaping out of the Foliage was two adult Zinogre's, and just as Jaycee was about to strike the two Monsters, the two Thunder Wolf Wyvern's ran past him, Puss, and Makoto, not even bothering to attack them.
"What's got them so spooked?" Jaycee asked confused as to why the two Zinogre's ran away. Puss and Makoto were also wondering why the two Thunder Wolf Wyvern's ran away as well.
Little did they know, they were just about to get their answer.
"HEY, LOOK OUT!" A Male teenager voice called out to Jaycee, Puss, and Makoto. The trio saw another Zinogre, this one about half the size of the two Adults that ran past them had jumped in front of the sun, before landing hard on the ground front of the Two A-Listers and the Felyne.
Instantly, Makoto hide behind Jaycee as he and Puss got into battle positions, the two being very cautious of the Teen Thunder Wolf Wyvern in front of them, waiting for it to attack them.
...
...
...
But it didn't, instead the teen Zinogre just titled it's head at the Hunter, The Handler, and the Felyne in front of them in wonder. It then crouched it's head down and slowly approached them and started to sniff.
They were confused as to why this Zinogre wasn't attacking them, and instead was looking at them like they were something it had never seen before in it's life. Jaycee held his grip on his Sword and Shield as Makoto hid herself more behind her Hunter partner.
After a few minutes of silence between the three Hunter's Guild members and the teenage Zinogre. The trio calmed down after realizing that the Zinogre had confirmed them to not be hostile.
"Huh, never thought we'd see a Zinogre here on our first day in the New World so soon." Makoto said as she petted the Zinogre behind it's ear, who stuck his tongue out as started to stomp his back right leg at how good the petting was.
"It's weird, was it just trying to follow it's parents?" Makoto asked as she continued to pet and give rubs to the Zinogre. "Ooh, your fur is so soft and cuddly."
"I don't think so, nya." Puss said, making the Zinogre look at the Felyne with wide eyes. "Nya look to be running away from it."
"But... why?" Jaycee questioned why the two adult Zinogre's ran away from a member of their own species.
Just then, Jaycee and Puss heard a loud THUD as the two look behind them and saw the teenage Zinogre on it's back with Makoto on it's belly giving it a belly rub.
"But, where did that voice come from?" Jaycee asked.
"Maybe it was another Hunter?" Makoto suggested to Jaycee and Puss.
"If so, then he should have arrived earlier." Jaycee said as he scouted the area, but finding no Hunter.
"Oh, who's a good boy? You are, yes, you are!" Makoto playfully asked the Zinogre, speaking in a adorable tone as she gave the Zinogre more belly rubs. The Zinogre's tail was wagging very happily.
That was when the Zinogre spoke.
"I am! I'm a good boy!" The Zinogre happily said, it's voice sounding just like the same teenage voice that warned them to look out.
The trio looked at the Zinogre with jaws dropped and eyes wide as they heard the Zinogre talk. Makoto stopped giving the Talking Zinogre belly rubs as she looked at the Talking Monster with a shocked and surprised look on her face.
"Hey! Why'd you stop?" The Talking Zinogre asked why Makoto stopped giving him belly rubs.

...
"Ooooh, Scrap." The Talking Zinogre winced as he realized that the Human had stopped because he was talking.
"Why? H-How are you talking? Meownster's can't talk! It's impurrsible!" Puss questioned in a frightened and shocked tone.
Makoto quickly ran away from the Talking Zinogre and scurried over to Jaycee and hid behind him. Jaycee unsheathed his weapons and held them as he looked at the Talking Zinogre with fear and awe.
The Talking Zinogre then rolled back over onto his paws. "So, I guess giant talking dogs aren't normal around the neighborhood, huh?" The Zinogre joked with a sheepish grin. Seeing as how that did nothing he tried to calm them down.
"Just put your weapons away, I'm not going to hurt you." The Talking Zinogre tried to reassure that he won't harm them. "Let me introduce myself, I'm Zinogtor." He introduced himself, he held out his massive paw towards the Hunter, Handler, and Felyne.
Jaycee cautiously placed his shield on his back, but held his Sword as he cautiously approached Zinogtor and grabbed the talking Monster's index claw.
"I'm... I'm Jaycee." Jaycee introduced himself cautiously as he shook Zinogtor's claw. He walked back, keeping his distance from Zinogtor and his sword pointed at him.
Puss then walked up to Zinogtor and grabbed his pinkie claw and shook it. "The nyames Puss." He introduced himself to Zinogtor.
"Nice to meet you, Puss. What are you anyways? You obviously look like a cat, but you're standing on your hind legs." Zinogtor asked.
"If you meoust knyow, I'm what's called a Felyne. And I'm Jaycee's Palico!" He purred proudly.
"Cool!" Zinogtor said with a smile as he watched as Puss walked back towards Jaycee and the human girl that gave him belly rubs.
Zinogtor awaited for the last human to approach him, but instead the Human Girl just stood behind Jaycee in fear as evident by her shaking body.
"I-I'm... M-M-Makoto." Makoto introduced herself to Zinogtor as she stood behind Jaycee.
Just after they introduced each other, a Seltas about twice the size of a normal one, hovered right in front of Zinogtor, Jaycee, Makoto, and Puss, who quickly notice the gigantic bug.
Jaucee and Puss quickly changed their positions from Zinogtor to the gigantic Seltas hovering before them. Their weapons drawn and their eyes full of confusion and fear, including Makoto's, as they have NEVER seen a Seltas that big before.
"Hey, what wrong?! It's just a big bug. You guy's are treating like it's not a natural life-form." Zinogtor said, not understanding why Jaycee had drawn a sword and shield at it while Makoto hid behind a tree in fear of the unnaturally large Seltas.
"It's because Seltas's have never been documented to grow to sizes that big before!!" Makoto said fearfully, as they looked at the gigantic Seltas with caution and fear.
"Really? If that's true, and this is unnatural, then we're just talking about one thing: A Robot in disguise!" Zinogtor said as he realized that this must have been a Predacon in disguise.
So, rushing to help his friends, Zinogtor shouted his transformation code as he jumped into the air.
"Zinogtor, MAXIMIZE!" The Zinogre Maximal shouted as he transformed into his robot mode in the air.
Zinogtor stood up on his back hind-legs as his front torso and arms split in two, revealing his robot arms underneath his Monster Torso, which folded out as his Zinogre head folded down to form his new chest plate, except the horns which just turned around. His large tail then turned around where the top of the tail would now be the bottom and curled up and along the back of his spine. Also, when his Monster Head had folded down, it also revealed his robot head underneath, which was a blue color with two Zinogre-like horns jutting out of his head, his optics were yellow. His Maximal Symbol was located on his forehead.
Jaycee, Puss, and Makoto were in shock of what they had just witnessed the Talking Zinogre they had just met had transformed into a mechanical being right before their very eyes.
Zinogtor soon landed on his feet as he then looks back at Jaycee, Puss, and Makoto. "You guys get to safety, I'll take care of him." He ordered with a low growl.
"It's time for this dog to play fetch!" Zinogtor said as he pulled out his Blaster and started to firing at the giant bug.
Soon the unnaturally big Seltas had enough. "Seltanator under attack! BZZZ! Seltanator engage enemy! Seltanator, TERRORIZE!" The Seltas Predacon screamed with a buzzing in his voice, and revealing that the inside of his mandibles were filled with teeths as he began his transformation.
The large armored canopy on his head split apart into two arms, with his hands folding out for the sides of where the canopy connected themselves. Seltanator four Seltas legs combined together to form two robot legs. He then pulled his Seltas form's mantis-like arms off of his frame as a string appeared, turning the mantis arms into a bow, his head remained the same but his lower jaw was split in two and would move revealing his robot jaw whenever he talked. His Predacon symbol was on the side of his head.
Seeing this, Jaycee, Puss, and Makoto could only look at the scene before them in shock. They had just witness two Monsters transform into Machines, or was it that these Machines could transform into Monsters?
Unfortunately, Seltanator saw this as a chance and started to fire at Jaycee and Puss with his bow that fired very explosive arrows at him. Jaycee and Pusswas almost blasted away by the vicious Predacon's explosive arrows.
Seltanator then fired another shot at the two humans, only this time he aimed right at Makoto. She nearly failed to see them coming, but before they could hit her, Zinogtor tackled her out of the way. Looking up, Makoto saw Zinogtor giving her a worried look.
"Less quaking and more running!" Zinogtor said, the two got back up, Seltanator then prepared another explosive arrow to fire at them.
But had he forgotten about Jaycee and his Palico, in which the former was able to shield bash the Seltas Predacon, while Puss hit the Predacon in the head and made him miss his target and let loose an arrow to somewhere else, which just so happened to be the Tobi-Kadachi that Jaycee and Puss had lost track off, killing the Monster.
Jaycee and Puss then rejoined with Makoto and Zinogtor, as Jaycee decided now would be a good time to get away from the Seltas Predacon.
"Let's get out of here!" Jaycee said as he, Makoto, Puss and Zinogtor started to move to find more cover away as well as get away from Seltanator.
With Optimus Primal, Barronox, and Wulgtrap...
Meanwhile with the other Maximals, they had saw and heard the explosions in the distance. Knowing that nothing good could come from it, Wulgtrap said the first things that came to his mind.
"Uh oh." Was Wulgtrap could say before Optimus, who was riding on the back of Barronox, grabbed the Wulg Maximal and the trio raced over to Zinogtor's location.
The Maximals didn't even notice a pair of sharp yellow glowing eyes watching them as they left the Axalon to help Zinogtor.
The Maximals had just crossed the bridge and were getting closer to the two. They all knew that they had to hurry or else something bad could happen to Zinogtor.
Unfortunately for them, Barronox was heading straight for a giant wall of rocks and boulders of various sizes.
"Heads up! Roadblock!" Wulgtrap warned Barronox as he were about to head straight into a massive wall of boulders and rocks of varying sizes.
Wulgtrap quickly hid behind Optimus for his own protection against the oncoming rocks.
"Veer Left! There's a clearing just 100 meters!" Optimus tells Barronox. But the Barroth Maximal continued on his path towards the rock wall.
Fearing the worst, Optimus and Wulgtrap braced themselves, only for Barronox to run straight through the rocks like they were nothing more than just wooden building blocks.
"Aw yes, silly me." Optimus quietly said as the Maximals continued their path towards Zinogtor's location.
Meanwhile with Aiden and Erica...
Aiden and Erica were in the Ancient Forest collecting some materials for their Quest, when they heard the sounds of heavy footsteps coming their way, Aiden grabbed his Sword and prepared himself against the on-coming monster.
What he didn't except, was 3 Monsters of varying Monster Class, those being a blackish-silver grey Rajang, a human-sized grey and white Wulg, both riding on the back of a Barroth.
"Well, there's something you don't see everyday, a Wulg and a Rajang riding on the back of a Barroth." Aiden said, dumbfounded by what he just saw.
"Let's follow them, maybe we can see where they are going." Erica said as she followed after the strange group that consisted of a Brute Wyvern, a Fanged Beast, and a Fanged Wyvern.
"Hey, Wait up!" Aiden said as he quickly tries to catch up with Erica as she chases after trio of strange Monsters.
Back with Jaycee, Makoto, and Zinogtor...
Turns out a Shield Bash and a Hammer to the head, did not knock the Seltas Predacon out completely as the Flier was quickly back up into the sky and chasing them as he fired explosive arrowsat them.
This cycle of firing and returning fire, continued until they had reached a ravine and an explosion forced Zinogtor to take a hard landing as he aimed his Blaster. But as soon as he pulled the trigger, his blaster wouldn't fire as it was jammed.
"Of all the time for a Quasar jam!" Zinogtor said as he took cover with Jaycee, Puss, and Makoto next to him, as he used himself as a shield for them.
"What's wrong?" Puss asked, he was in charge of making sure to always help his Hunter and it seemed that Zinogtor was having difficulty with his.
"My Blaster's jammed!" Zinogtor told the Palico as he was trying to repair his weapon.
"Here let me help, I'm purrty good with meowchinary." Puss said as he took Zinogtor's Blaster and started to repair it. Thankfully, that was when the calvary had arrived.
"ZINOGTOR!" A male voice called out. Jaycee, Makoto, and Puss saw that coming towards the ravine was a Rajang and Wulg riding on the back of a Barroth.
Optimus soon noticed the 2 humans and the Palico. Before he looked back at Zinogtor. "Zinogtor, get them to safety! We'll take care of the Predacon."
"Who are they?! Are they friend or foe?" Makoto cried out at seeing the monsters.
Zinogtor smirked as he saw Optimus Primal riding on the back of Barronox. "No, Family."
"Oh, but Optimus, I don't believe the fleshlings will find safety.. anywhere. Oh, nooo." The deep richly and terrifying voice said to Optimus.
Suddenly, the Maximals, The A-Listers and Palico, soon felt and heard the sounds of heavy footsteps coming their way as they all looked at who was causing those heavy stomping. Once the A-Listers and Palico saw who it was, they froze up in fear.
For standing on the other side of the ravine, was a greenish-purple Deviljho, and following behind it, was an Akura Vashimu, A Nerscylla, and red Astalos.
The Greenish-Purple Deviljho then spoke once again. "For you're about to have…oh, How should I put this? Ah, yess, Difficulties of your own." It said with a evil grin.
"We don't have to do this Megatron, there has been peace between the Maximals and the Predacons for eons, Why start this up again!?" Optimus asked the Deviljho why would he restart the wars between the two factions despite there now being peace between the two for eons.
"Peace on your side, Maximal scum! Yess." The Deviljho, which was now identified as Megatron, spat at the Rajang before he explained. "But not on ours, Permit me to inform you, Optimus Primal, that an enemy that may appear peaceful, are merely biding their time."
Puss was then able to repair Zinogtor's blaster as best as the Palico could with their planet's current technology, he handed it back to him, in which the latter pumped the top of his weapon back as he growled with a smirk.
"Finally!" Zinogtor quietly cheered, looking back at the small group he quietly whispered to them. "Stay down..."
Megatron continued speaking. "We Predacons have never abandoned our rightful goal of Galactic conquest, Noo. We have been waiting, for the right moment…TO STRIKE!"
"You mean like this?!" Zinogtor shouted as he fired a blast at the Predacon Leader's jaw.
"ZINOGTOR!" Optimus Primal reprimands Zinogtor as he turned to look at younger bot's reckless action, though he did hope that he did damage Megatron enough to avoid this conflict. But against a Deviljho's thick skin? It could barely do any damage.
"Ahhh, a treacherous, underhanded, sneak attack. I like you, doggy, Yess." Megetron mused lightly but he then shouted, "But it will avail you naught, Noo! For now, the power gauntlet has been cast!"
Just then Puss, Jaycee, and Makoto heard the sound of two familiar voices call out their names.
"Jaycee! Makoto! Puss!" The voice of Aiden and Erica was heard as the trio turned around and saw two familiar figures heading towards them by using the bushes as cover, before finally reaching the trio with Zinogtor.
"Aiden! Makoto!" Jaycee and Makoto happily said, happy to see their two friends familiar face, unfortunately for Aiden and Makoto they didn't hear the Maximals and Predacon's conversation.
"What's going on here?" Aiden asked with a deep and heavy breaths as he and Erica saw the black greyish-silver Rajang, the Barroth, and the grey and white Wulg they were following, now facing off against a greenish-purple Deviljho, a red Astalos, a dark grey Akura Vashimu, and a purple Nerscylla, and two giant robots wearing the parts of an oversized Seltas and a Zinogre, with the last one standing right next to them.
"Something that's probably bigger than we ever thought before." Jaycee said as he, Makoto, Puss, Aiden, and Erica were about to watch the showdown that was destined to happen.
"PREDACONS, TERRORIZE!!!" Megatron commanded his army to transform as he let out a terrifying Jurassic Park T-Rex-like roar. This shocked Aiden and Erica as they heard the Greenish-Purple Deviljho talk with a richly deep voice.
"Team, it's time to Transform and Roar Out! MAXIMALS, MAXIMIZE!" Optimus commanded his team to transform as he let out an ape-like howl as he banged his chest like a gorilla. This also shocked Aiden and Erica once again.
"Nersyllantus, Terrorize!" The Nerscylla Predacon shouted as he transformed.
His two large orange spider legs combined together and folded down to become his legs as his thorax flipped upside down. Two robotic arms folded out from underneath Nerscyllantus's body as his monster head folded down to become his chestplate, and revealing his robot head. Which had a yellow visor for his optics and 6 purple mandibles acting as it's mouth. He pulled out two poisonous purple daggers from his Monster Mode's thorax. His Predacon Symbol is located on his right thigh.
"Barronox, Maximize!" The Large Barroth Maximal shouted as he transformed.
Barroth's lower jaw splitted from his upper torso, forming his chest plate as his upper jaw transformed into an armored back piece, revealing his metallic green robot head that was hidden in-between his Monster jaws, his head looked humanoid but he had a large bronze yellow jaw. His optics were black and red, and while they may have looked intimidating, they carried compassion within them. His Barroth form's arms lengthened as two pairs of fists folded out from underneath his claws, giving him a pair of spiked knuckles. He then stood up on his large theropod-like legs. His Maximal Symbol is on top of both sides of his head.
"Akuranok, Terrorize!" The Akura Vashimu Predacon shouted as he transformed.
The Scorpion-like head of Akuranok folded downwards to become his legs as his entire body folded upwards as his feet folded out of his monster head. His pincers rotated around to became his hands, as his scorpion-like legs folded around his stinger, which revealed his robot head, which was a bullet-like head with a yellow visor for optics and a blue bullet-like helmet. Inside, his pincers were two pairs of four missile launchers. His Predacon Symbol is located on his right chest plate.
"Wulgtrap, Maximize!" The semi-large grey Wulg Maximal shouted as he transformed.
Wulgtrap's entire front half of his torso folded towards his back, revealing his orange robot arms inside. His Wulg head folded down intro his chest revealing his robot head. He stood up as his robot legs folded out as his tail fold up. His head was a metallic orange and silver, he had two buck teeth and a pair of red optics. His Maximal Symbol is located on his forearm.
"Terralos, Terrorize!" The red and yellow Astalos Predacon screeched as he transformed.
His Astalos legs folded out and down to became his robotic legs as his arms folded out from the side of his Astalos body revealing his 3-digit hands. His wings folded up along his back. His monster head folded to his back, except his axe crest and revealing his robot head, his head was sharp and looked to be the definition of back-stabber and he had a pair of golden yellow optics on his head was the Axe Creat of his Astalos form. His Predacon Symbol is located on his forehead.
"Megatron, Terrorize!" The greenish-purple Deviljho Predacon shouted as he transformed.
Megatron's thighs folded up past his head as his entire Deviljho body, except the legs, rotated 90 degrees to the right, his legs were supported by a black heel on both legs. His spiky clubbed tail and massive head folded down to become his arms as a hand folded out from underneath his tail arm, inside his Monster head's jaws was a cannon. His head folded up revealing his robotic face. It was a metallic gray while his face was steel purple and he had two burning red optics. His Predacon symbol is on his forehead.
"Optimus Primal, Maximize!" The black greyish-silver Rajang Maximal announced as he transformed.
Optimus's Monster head folded towards his back as his Rajang shoulders folded upwards revealing his robotic biceps as his hands rotated 90 degrees opposite of one another, going from a gorilla-like hand look to a sort of human-like hand position. His tail rotated and folded up against his back as his lower torso rotated a full 180 degrees revealing some red and white metal legs. His Rajang body flipped up revealing his robotic chest plate. And as his head folded back, his robot head was revealed, it was grey in color, except that his robot face plate was dark blueish grey, however he had a white mouth guard that could open and close to show his mouth. His optics were red and they showed that he would fight, but only as a last resort. His Maximal Symbol is located on his right shoulder.
"Obliterate them!" Megatron ordered his Predacons to attack the Maximals.
At his command, the Predacons began firing while the Maximals took cover behind boulders and overturned trees before they began taking their shots at the Predacons.
Terralos and Seltanator fired their blasters/ explosive arrows from the air, while Akuranok fired his missiles, Nerscyllantus Monster arms legs turned out to be machine guns, and finally Megatron's Deviljho head was firing energy beams at the Maximals.
Meanwhile, the Maximals jumped for cover at the barrage of attacks coming their way. Barronox and Wulgtrap dove behind one rock while Optimus did the same with another rock while firing a forearm mounted cannon.
"Wha-What are they?" Aiden stuttered, wondering who these giant machines were and what was going on.
"Meownster's that can turn into Meowchines! Or maybe it's the other way around? I don't knyow?!" Puss said as he still didn't know what these strange creatures were.
"So, why are they fighting?!" Erica asked as a blast hit the boulder they were hiding behind, scaring her.
"Didn't you hear what Mega-breath said, Lady? He and his band of merry Predacons want to take over the galaxy, and we, the Maximals, aren't going to let that happen!" Zinogtor said over the sounds of lasers and explosions, but they didn't even know what a galaxy was only that it must be a place and it must be huge.
"Zinogtor! Get those humans to safety now!" The one called Optimus ordered Zinogtor from behind a large rock.
Zinogtor shouted back. "I'm doing the best that I can, big bot!"
Optimus gritted his teeth as his arm cannon extended from his left forearm and fired on the Predacons as he ordered Barronox and Wulgtrap. "I need covering fire for the humans now!"
Barronox nodded his head as he pulled out from his sides, two spinning blade-guns and started to lay shells onto the Predacon's giving Zinogtor, the humans and Palico covering fire.
Seeing this chance of escape, Zinogtor looked back at the group of 4 Humans and a Palico. "Let's go!"
As they went up the hill toward the Maximals, Jaycee was in front with Zinogtor behind Puss, when Jaycee was at the top a blast hit right in front of Zinogtor, sending him back down to his previous cover with the shockwave from the fall made a large boulder land right on top of his left leg, trapping him.
Looking back once everyone else was at the top, Jaycee saw that Zinogtor was stuck and he was just about to go and help him, until a hand grabbed her and pulled him away. He looked at who grabbed him, and Jaycee saw it was Optimus who was looking at him.
"Wulgtrap help Zinogtor, we'll cover you!" Optimus told their smallest member.
"Yeah. right." Wulgtrap said with sarcasm as he refused to move from his cover.
"That's an order, Wulgtrap!" Optimus yelled at Wulgtrap, not wanting to deal with this right now.
"Yeah, and you can just kiss my skid plate fearless leader, cause I'm not going out there and getting a pelt punctured." Wulgtrap yelled refusing to follow Optimus' orders.
Jaycee quickly acted, he used his Slinger and aimed at a tree branch and pulled himself out of Optimus' grasp, he the pulled his Ghillie Mantle from his pouch and placed it over his body and quickly and sneakily went over to help Zinogtor.
When Optimus felt that Jaycee was no longer in his grasp, he looked around and a pile of leaves moving towards Zinogtor, using the bushes around him as a way to hide from the Predacon's line of sight. Unfortunately, Megatron spotted him.
"Unknown target on battlefield. Take it out." Megatron ordered as he and his men fired at Jaycee, thankfully he was a good dodger and a good runner even when he was carrying the heavy weapons back at Astera, so they couldn't get a lock on him or even if they did he would roll out of the way.
Finally, he was able to reach Zinogtor and he was amazed at how fast he was, even when he was being fired at.
"How are you so fast?" Zinogtor asked as he has never seen anyone move that fast while being fired at.
"I'm a Hunter, this is kinda like second nature to me." Jaycee admitted as he pulled out some Explosive Barrels and placed one as far away from Zinogtor as possible while making sure it could only destroy the boulder.
After he picked up a rock and threw it at the barrel, it exploded and destroyed the rock, and barely did almost second-to-no damage to Zinogtor.
The two then quickly ran back from where they where to the Maximals and their friends. Seeing this, Barronox grabbed Wulgtrap by his back and lifted him up.
"Hey, let me down you big bulldozer!" Wulgtrap complained as Barronox just brought him closer to his faceplate.
"Cover fire, they need we give it. Now!" Barronox said as he stood up and turn to face the enemy and started to shot, acting as covering fire for Zinogtor and Jaycee.
Soon, both Barronox and Wulgtrap were firing at Predacons with Optimus doing the same. Their shots were all over the place, but it did its job in stopping the Predacons from firing at Jaycee and Zinogtor. Soon, the two of them made it back to the top and continued to run.
"Back to the base. Let's go! Let's go!" Optimus ordered everyone to head back to the Axalon.
The Maximals then all transformed back into their Beast Modes and took the Humans and Palico back to base with them. With Optimus, Aiden, and Erica on Barronox's back and Jaycee, Makoto, and Puss on Zinogtor's back. Wulgtrap walked running beside them.
"After them! Go you foo..." Megatron said, before his body started to glow blue and he fell over in pain.
The same thing was happening to his Predacons as they all couldn't move properly and were in pain. Both Seltanator and Terralos had fallen out of the sky.
"Seltanator ... cannot ... move!" Seltanator said in pain, as he lay on the ground.
"Energon field build up. Convert back to Beast Mode." Megatron ordered his soldiers to return to Beast Mode. He then transformed back into his Deviljho mode.
The Predacons soon all transformed back into their Beast Modes and when they did, their pain quickly went away.
Megatron let out a low growl as he knew that he had to let the Maximals go, but he will be after them soon. And he will destroy them until their nothing but scrap metal.
Back at the Axalon, Ancient Forest...
The Maximals, the Humans and Palico were able to make a successful and safe retreat, they began to make their way back to the Axalon as it would be the safest place for the Humans and Cat to be at the moment.
Zinogtor was ordered to see if they had lost the Predacons during their retreat. So, after setting Jaycee, Makoto, and Puss onto Barronox's back, he raced back to see if they were followed by the Predacons.
That's when Aiden asked the question that's been bugging him since he first met Optimus, Zinogtor, Wulgtrap, and Barronox.
"So... what even ARE you guys?" Aiden asked the Maximals out of nowhere.
"AIDEN!" Jaycee, Makoto, Erica, and Puss shouted at Aiden for asking that question.
"What? You guys want to know what they are too, right? I mean Machines that can turn into Monsters? That's going to want an answer." Aiden defended himself.
"It's alright, Aiden. I can answer that for you." Optimus Primal said. "We are advance cybernetic lifeforms from a planet about several hundred lightyears from here, called Cybertron. Our race is known for their ability to transform, so we are called, Transformers."
"What da Big Boss means is, we're a bunch of sentient alien robots from space tat can transform." Wulgtrap dumbed-it down for the Humans and Palico.
"Transformers?" The Hunters and Palicoes curiously asked.
Optimus nodded. "Our people had been divided into two factions, the Maximals and the Predacons. Me and my crew are explorers, we were the only ones able to catch some thieves who stole a valuable artifact, known as The Golden Disk, from our world. After that, We chased them to your world and we both crashed on this world and now were stuck here." Optimus tells the Hunters.
Just then, Zinogtor rejoined back with the group and gave his report to Optimus Primal.
"I think we gave them the fade, Big Bot." Zinogtor said as he walked alongside the Maximals.
"Keep your sensor on full. According to the golden disk thief report, there were six Predacons, one of them was missing from the battle." Optimus tells them as the group continued on back to the Axalon.
"Well maybe he was destroyed in the crash?" Wulgtrap suggested that the sixth Predacon was destroyed.
"Or maybe left to guard their base?" Makoto offered, hoping that may be of some help.
"That kind of luck we haven't been getting much of lately." Barronox said, bringing their hopes back down.
"Tell me about it. Look." Wulgtrap said, as he spotted a familiar unnaturally large and strangely colored Light Brown and Brown Velocidrome standing before them on the other side of the land bridge leading towards the Axalon.
The Maximals and the Hunters got off of Barronax's back and stared at the Velocidrome Predacon on the other side of the land bridge.
"Well, looks like we found the 6th Purredacon." Puss said with fear towards the Predacon on the other side of the land bridge. Jaycee, Puss, and Aiden quickly took battle stances in case the Velocidrome Predacon decided to attack them.
"Should we blast him?" Barronox suggested to Optimus, unsure of what to do.
"Keep that option open. But hang on." Optimus tells them before he walks towards Velocibot.
"Attention, Maximals! My name is Velocibot. And I have left the Predacons to join your group... as your Leader!" Velocibot declared.
"What?! Did he just say 'Leader'?" Jaycee asked in shock at what Velocibot just declared.
"I think he did." Aiden said in shock. Even Puss, Erica, and Makoto couldn't believe what they heard from Velocibot
"This guy's got bearings of chrome steel." Barronox stated with wide eyes.
"I hereby challenge you, Optimus Primal, to a one-on-one battle. The winner shall lead the Maximals... and the loser shall be destroyed!" Velocibot stated.

Note: Erica, Makoto, Mercer, Isamu, are named after their voice actors in MHW. I was having some difficulty trying to decide Rattrap's Monster Mode, I tried to look for any small Monsters that would work well with Rattrap's new form and name and decided a Wulg was best for him.
