I don't own Naruto or any of the characters. Kishimoto-san does. If he gave me the Naruto franchise, THEN I'D OWN NARUTO!

The Alphabet with NaruHina!
A is for Affront
The snow falls heavily covering every inch of Konoha as it can. The streets were not barren for the young children wished to play in the cold blankets of frost. All day long they had played and played, not giving a care in the world about anything else other than snowball fights and snowmen. A young girl with the clearest of eyes walked through the mayhem hoping to not be hit by a stray snowball. She was supposed to be escorted home after boarding school when she suddenly lost her escorts in a crowd. She knew her way home, but her father always warned that it was dangerous to walk alone. Somebody was always watching and ready to steal her away.
Condensation puffed from her lips. The ruffians around her immediately noticed her royal like-appearance and were instantly curious. Who was that? They murmured. Why was she dressed so expensive? They judged. The young girl looked around her at the unfamiliar faces. She held her prasine coloured scarf a tad closer under her nose. "I.." She croaked.
A sudden feeling jostled her senses. Wet icy sludge slid down the back of her head and off onto her shoulder. She whipped around to confront whoever threw the snowball to only be decked by ice to the face. Her knees wobbled and before she knew it, she was falling backwards into even more snow. Laughter exploded around her. The ruffians laughed at the young girl as she wiped the ice from her face. Tears stung the corner of her eyes. She noticed her scarf had fallen from the safety of her neck. She reached for it only for her hand to be smashed underneath a boot.
She hissed, instantly retracting her appendage back towards her body. Her milky eyes peer upwards into luminous cerulean eyes that contrasted hers by a great margin. The young boy was around her age, a head full of hair as blonde as hay, and a smirk full of mischief. He bends at the waist, his face near inches from her's. He was so pretty that he had the poor little girl awestruck.
"You have ugly eyes, ya know?" He affronts.
The young girl had never been so appalled in her life. Her eyes widen with shock. Her breath hitched at the sight of the boy's hand reaching for her. His destination seemed to be her scarf. "H-hey..!" She exclaims. Both children grip one end of the pale green fabric, both not intending to let go.
"Hinata-sama!" Her grip fails her, launching her body face first into even more snow. The ruffian falls on his behind with her scarf in his hands. He glanced at her and back at the pale-eyed men heading straight in their direction.
"C'mon Naruto!" He hears one of the boys call. He blows a raspberry at Hinata, taking off in the opposite direction.
Tears trail down her rosy cheeks. Despite being upset that she lost her scarf, there was some solace to the fact that she knew her assailant's name.
Naruto.
