As they entered NERV HQ Misato was taking them to see the Commander who was angry that unknown being that had a A.T Field disrupted his scenario by destroying the 3rd Angel Sachiel before that worthless brat he shares blood with could pilot Unit-01 and awaken Yui. But then he thought this could be an opportunity. While Yui's awakening is important it can happen later on. The brat can get some training in which could prevent Unit-01's destruction if something happens. While he believes the Dead Sea Scrolls are truthful he knows not everything will go to plan since there will be some incidents that can change everything. As a scientist he knows that. Just take the 3-years delay and that unknown being. The Dead Sea Scrolls didn't say anything about them. Many revisions will be needed to get things on track.

His thoughts were then interrupted by the knocking on the door.

"Come in." Gendo said in his usual pose. In came Misato, Shinji, and (unknown to him) Alice. While Gendo was momentarily surprised at Shinji's new looks but quickly got rid of it.

"Commander I brought the Third Child Shinji Ikari." Misato formally said.

"Sorry for being late. I got caught up enjoying my last few minutes of not being here." Shinji sarcastically

said.

"You were told to come alone." Gendo said to Shinji when he noticed Alice.

"Actually I wasn't. The only thing I was told was to come. Nothing about going alone. Even if there was I would say fuck you you bastard because there is no way in hell I would ever listen to you." Shinji said in hatred. "Sorry Ladies."

"It's fine Shinji." Alice said as someone who abandons their own kid and tries to use him to bring out the end of the world just to get back his wife deserves it. She does have to admit that he is devoted to his wife, but he was having sex with the mother Akagi and the daughter Akagi and was just using them for his own pleasure and to complete his plans. Hell he even drove the mother into suicide. She loves Shinji but hopes he doesn't go down the same path as his father though admittingly thanks to him being an Angel he has a lot of stamina as she has seen him exercise for hours after he has had a PTSD episode she might have to think about letting other women into their relationship to help burn off that energy plus Shinji does needs lots of love to help overcome his past.

"What did you say to me?" Gendo questions Shinji his anger rising.

"You know there is one thing I realized that you never did." Shinji said as he looks at his father with pity.

"And what's that you brat?" Gendo questions angrily seeing the pity in his son's eyes.

"No matter how much pain we feel, we can't close our hearts to it. When she died you couldn't take it and decided to throw everything away because you couldn't take the pain. You even blamed God for everything, but it wasn't God's fault she died. She died in order to get that abomination to work in order to create her so called bright future for mankind so in the end it wasn't God's fault or anyone else's fault but her own." Shinji said with a tone colder than the Arctic sending shivers down Misato's, Gendo's, Dr. Akagi's (who was there), Kozo's (who was there as well) spines at his tone before Gendo burning rage at Shinji's callous disregard of Yui.

"How dare you!" Gendo yells losing his temper. "Yui was a treasure that shouldn't have left!"

"You're the type who thinks anyone who disagrees with you is instantly wrong!" Shinji yells in anger and disgust. "And that's one of the things I hate most about you!"

"Oh also I may Look Calm But in my Mind I've Killed you Three Times!" Shinji said in anger.

"We destroy ourselves when we stop feeling. If you bury your feelings within you, you become a graveyard. I will never become like you. A graveyard who is willing to destroy even the world itself just to get that bitch back. Nothing is more pathetic than someone who never learns." Shinji said as he and Alice leaves the office.

"That damned brat!" Gendo snarls in anger as he then looks at Misato.

"Captain Katsuragi do whatever is necessary to get that brat to join NERV! Even if that mean you have to seduce him!" Gendo orders angerly.

"I'll do my best sir." Misato said a little fearfully at the Commander's display of anger. She then quickly leaves the room along with Ritsuko and Kozo.

(Later)

Shinji and Alice were at their new apartment and Alice was concerned about him.

"Shinji are you ok?" Alice asks as she gently hugs Shinji as tears comes down his face.

"I can wipe the tears in my eyes, but I can't wipe the pain in my heart." Shinji said as even though he hates Gendo and doesn't consider him his father anymore there was still the part of him that was the scared child crying out for his dad to not abandon him.

"Shinji. Physical wounds can be treated without much difficulty, but emotional wounds are not so easy to heal but I will help you no matter what and I will always be at your side no matter what." Alice said softly as she kisses his head gently before she helps him up and they went to bed.

(The next week on Monday)

"Class we have a couple new students. Please come in." The teacher asks as Shinji and Alice wearing the respective gender uniforms enter the classroom.

"Now please introduce yourselves." The teacher said.

"I'm Shinji Tenshi." Shinji said having abandoned the Ikari name in the advice of Alice to help separate him from his ex-parents.

"And I'm Alice Liddel." Alice introduces herself surprising everyone with her accent.

"They'll be joining us for the rest of the school year." The teacher said as Shinji looks around the classrooms and sees Toji, Kensuke, Hikari, and Sakura who he healed the night after arriving in Tokyo-3.

'One thing I like about this is that they don't know me. But do I want them to?' Shinji questions himself.

"Please take your seats." The teacher said causing Shinji and Alice to find 2 seats by Hikari that were empty. Luckily they were side by side which causes them to smile as they sat.

"I'm Hikari Horaki the class representative. If you have any questions please let me know." Hikari said with a smile.

"Thanks we will." Shinji said as he and Alice smiles back before the 3 pay their attention to the teacher.
