A/N: Another angsty one shot that I wrote very quickly, it's also very short. Companion to Beautifully Flawed.

Marble

Perfect they called her.

Marble was considered perfect too, until you saw it close up, then you could see its many flaws.

Just like her.

No matter how long she spent applying makeup, how immaculately she styled her hair; her flaws were always there.

Often she sat and stared at herself in the mirror until her face no longer made sense.

She took so much pride in her appearance; it was her obsession. Piled on so much makeup she looked almost natural.

Another thing she had in common with marble.

She was so cold and fake.

Even her hair, which was naturally curly, she took great pains to completely straighten.

She was so glossy and fake, cold and beautiful and full of flaws.

She was marble.

A/N: Hmmm, I'm not sure if it made sense or not. What did you think?
